Cake Art Party Store! I started going here about two years ago when the baking and cake decorating bug bit me. When I first walked in, I was overwhelmed. Actually, I’m still overwhelmed. There’s so much stuff I don’t know… don’t even have a clue about… but I feel like I learn something new every single time I visit. Unfortunately, I can’t do that very often because this store makes me spend money.
Like on these things. I’m serious… this place is dangerous. I think I get a sugar high or something when I walk in … my heart starts racing … I start picking random stuff up. And when I get home, bags full… I’m like, what just happened.
But, when you see all these… in one place. You start thinking… do I have enough yellow sprinkles. I can’t remember. Okay, get some more and get some blue ones, and red ones while you’re at it.
And then, you start thinking that you can’t live without blue teddy bear sprinkles or green palm tree sprinkles, or pink pigs. And what if someone has a baby… I need those baby sprinkles or wait, boys like cupcakes… what about helmet and football sprinkles. You see where I’m going. Let’s just say that I have accumulated my fair share of sprinkles.
The funny thing is … I hardly ever use them on cupcakes or cakes. It just makes me feel good knowing I have them just in case. I know … weird! But, they do come in handy when it comes to decorating cake pops, so that’s how I justify it.
You can even buy them in bags!
Here’s something I’ve never tried… and I think I’ll leave for the pros… Airbrush! Pretty colors, though.
Speaking of colors… did you know you can buy rolled fondant that is already tinted?
I started doing this recently with red fondant because it is seriously a pain to tint it yourself and get it a deep red color.
Now, a lot of people don’t like the taste of fondant, they just like the look of it from a visual perspective. So, if you just want to experiment, then play around and buy it pre-made. Just don’t get this much. You can stick with the 1 pound packages.
Or if you really want, make some from scratch. I hear marshmallow fondant is pretty good.
Anyone need 25 lbs of buttercream frosting?
Or tinted buttercream?
Not me. I like to make my own buttercream and tint it myself. Yummy!
Need some petit four icing? Just snip the tip and go. Great for beginners.
Marzipan… I haven’t dabbled in this stuff yet, but I do like saying the name. Marzipan!
Check this out! This might just be the best part of the store. Pans! Round ones, oval ones, heart-shaped ones, square ones! And in graduated sizes, too! And different heights! Help me, please.
Tools. I love tools. Offset spatulas and flat spatulas. Thank you.
Inside these little trays are every decorating tip you can think of and some you can’t. Grab some disposable bags and couplers and you’re set.
There’s so much stuff in the store that you can miss little things like this. Petal dust and luster dust… I think I’m in love. Now, I just have to figure out what to do with it.
Need to stack a big cake? Sorry, I can’t help you… haven’t done that.
Mine are little and usually just end up on cake boards like these.
And sometimes, they get put in cake boxes. I love cake boxes. Especially the tiny ones.
Little cakes in little boxes are just the cutest!
Need some party supplies? They have that, too.
Baking cups for boys and girls.
Tons and tons of plastic cake toppers. I’ve never bought anything down this aisle…
But, this one made me laugh so hard, I almost bought it for a Mother’s Day cake. Then, I pictured myself on Cake Wrecks and stopped myself. :)
Father’s Day is around the corner, though…
Almost done… hang in there. Cookie cutters are always fun to have.
And so are these. I have this set of dual sided graduated cutters. I love them and they come in super handy when I make fondant covered cupcakes.
Gadgets galore! I can’t stand in this section too long because my pantry just isn’t big enough.
And guess what… that’s just the half of it. Actually, the 1/8th of it. I wish I could show you everything.
Coming soon… candy stuff!
Hope you guys liked looking at all that stuff and thanks Cake Art for letting me show everyone that there’s a much bigger cake world than the 9 inch cake pans I used to buy in the grocery store. And guess what guys… most of it’s easier than you think.

That store looks incredible!! I think my favorite item is my stoneware!!
teagar@comcast.net
My favorite baking tool would be my cupcake carrier! I LOVE it! It comes in handy when my niece’s and I make cupcakes for holidays. We make a mess at my house then take the cupcakes to my moms.. lucky mom.. no mess to clean! :]
I’m in seriously lack of sprinkles right now too! :]
amandamichelle_smith@yahoo.com
Oh my goodness, the sprinkle aisle gave me goosebumps! I want to come shop with you in Tucker, GA!!!
Wow! I am overwhelmed just by the pictures. I wish there was a magical store like this where I live.
amy.mcquay@gmail.com
OH..and thanks to you and P=Dub..my fav tool is my brand new Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer
I would love to go to that store. Thanks so much for sharing pictures. I think I was holding my breath the whole time I was scrolling through the pictures. Next time we travel to Atlanta we must go to this store. I used to live in Suwanee, GA only 30 minutes away. Argh! I love looking for gluten free sprinkles for my litle boy. I remember once you posted about some, and I went out and bought the ones you reviewed. My 2 little girls can eat any sprinkles they can get their hands on and would love all 20 bottles of sprinkles you are giving away!
I just used 123 ABC sprinkles on mini cupcakes for school. My favorite tool is a Pampered Chef mix-n-scrape spatula. I use it nearly daily!
Wait, what was the question? I’m still thinking about all the sprinkles!! Fun, fun!
O….M….G….!!!!!
I need to win the lottery before entering this heavenly place!
I would LOVE airplane sprinkles…I am a flight attendant..and bringing sprinkled airplane cupcakes to work would be cool!
Shamrock ones would be cool too…as I am Irish born…but PLEASE Shamrocks have THREE leaves not FOUR!!(Thats a clover)
OK..going back to check the store site and see where the closest store is to Vancouver Canada!
WOAH! What a great store! Where is it? I need to go set up camp in one of those aisles…
My favorite baking tool is my pastry cutter. I always use it over my food processor when I can, because I like to feel my baked goods, and find that I make better pie and tart crusts, and also biscuits when I do it all by hand.
That store is amazing! Now if they only made half-naked dudes in speedos in sprinkle form…
I think my favorite thing that i have found was my watermelon candy sprinkles YUMMY!!
Jenni6981@yahoo.com
I love sprinkles, too! At the end of every holiday, I rush to the store to get their after holiday stuff on sale. There are usually some holiday sprinkles I can get at 75% off. My four year old loves the “sprinkle” job!
Oh I love sprinkles! And I’ve been wanting to try some of the glittery sugars… that’s my goal for next week! haha
http://notjustanotherjennifer.blogspot.com/
I don’t do much baking – it’s a science and I’m an artsy person. If it comes in a box I can bake it. That’s why I love the cake pops – they make me look much cooler than I am! So I would have to say box recipes and lollipop sticks are my favorite baking tools!
I’m glad that I’ve only shopped online at cake art party store…at least there’s some control if you don’t know what you’re missing! As far as sprinkles that I love…The rainbow coated chips are a must have!
http://www.tylerandholly.blogpsot.com
My favorite baking item(s) are my new candy molds.
shelby.h.rice@gmail.com
Picking a favorite is hard. A silpat? An ice cream scoop (for equal-sized cookies)? What has changed my baking life the most is probably an off-set spatula. Who knew it could be so much better than a regular spatula?
jennifer(dot)pope(at)gmail(dot)com
That place is awesome! I always say I have more fun shopping for kitchen tools than for clothes! My favourite tool? It has to be my spatulas, both metal and rubber ones. They have so many uses!
I would be lost without my kitchenaid mixer. Seriously.
That store… is AMAZING!!!!
My fav baking tool is my brand new flame red stand mixer! Besides that is the little melon baller scoop i bought, makes perfect little cookies and GREAT for making my cake pops uniform.
oooh! I would like to find some safety pin sprinkles!
Question…do you have any ideas for baby shower cake pops??? I’d love to see what you could come up with!
I wish we had stores like that here! I have to be content with the internet, which is just not the same. My favourite baking tool is my dough scraper.(is that even the right word?) It makes it so much easier to deal with the dough when i am baking bread.
annsja@yahoo.com
Oh how I wish I lived in GA just for that delightful store alone!! I love love love cake pans of all shapes and sizes. Sprinkles rule too!
This place is nirvana! Wish it wasn’t 2000 miles away.
My favorite tool is the ziplock bag… use for frosting and filling cupcake tins with batter.
forgot:

That’s awesome! do they have sprinkles that are shaped like tools?
doopysmiles2@yahoo.com
Jane
sprinkles are a girl’s best friend, aren’t they?!?
I love all sprinkles..it’d be great to get some ‘chemistry’ sprinkles (not sure what that’d be, but…..) enter me anyway!! PLEAse?
I’ve always wanted one of those huge sets of cake decorating tips, I have a few but they never seem to be the right ones.
I think I would start having anxiety attacks going into that place!..what to pick…not enough money…ahhhh!
Favorite tool…oh gosh..by far my Pink Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer…I named her Beatrice. Plus I found wonderful cupcake wrappers after searching them for a year…come to find out they are nut cups..who knew? They are those french pleated cups…that everyone except me has! So I ordered some!
I can’t live without my rubber spatulas! Love your blog!!
neilandsarabeth@msn.com
I love little cookie cutters, like the ones from William & Sonoma. They are nice to use on cheese too to decorate on crackers!
jannieusa@hotmail.com
Cookie cutters! I’m not really up to date with my sprinkles….all I have are the classic multicolored round ones. They come in handy. I’ve used them….once.
Wow, I just picked up my mouth from the floor! That store looks awesome. I could definitely spend hours there! I’m so envious – I really want to try the Americolor food coloring.
I love my offset spatula. And what an amazing store!!
I’m amazed at all of the amazing things that were in the 1/8th of the store that you showed! I wish I had one nearby. I LOVE to use fun sprinkles on my chocolate covered pretzels. Shopping in that store could be a dangerous thing! Thanks for sharing! :) Whitney kevinwhitneyjordan@hotmail.com
I love your site and I think my favorite thing are pearl sprinkles. They make anything look fancy.
redhead8188@hotmail.com
Wow that store is a dream come true. I have to make it there someday, and bring lots of cash…wow! Tks for sharing. My favorite tool is my kitchen aid! I also would love to find little car shaped sprinkles….
alessandracw@gmail.com
I need to go to this place. And soon. I never knew such a thing even existed!
I’d have to say my favorite baking items are my flat, air bake cookie sheets. For YEARS I delt with lop-sided cookies due to the cookie sheet *popping* in the oven. I saw the flat, air bake sheets at the store one day and thought, “Well that’s just silly. When the sheet pops the cookies will run right off the side!” Someone then informed me that those God-send of a cookie sheet DON’T pop! How awesome. Definitely my favorite baking item now!!
I love my Winnie the Pooh cookie cutters, they’re super cute!:) Just like all those sprinkles in the pictures..=)
Defintely my offset spatula!!
OMG! That store looks dangerous! I’m looking for all things shark related- sprinkles, pans, etc.
I think some of the best stuff is just the standards. A good pan, offset spatula, bag with tips and something special on top like SPRINKLES!
I’m not sure I’d ever make it out of that store. So much to look at and get.
Kimtazo@gmail.com
Wow! What a store! I need to make a trip there to Georgia I guess! My new favorite tool to use are the edible pens to talked about a while back. I use them all the time now!
Erin

I am in awe of that store!! So fun!
I could spend hours in that store! I love my little ice cream scoop that I use for cookies, muffins and cupcakes.
My silicone baking mat and silicone bakeware.
I love sprinkles!! LOVE THEM!
Sprinkles….I love me some sprinkles!
I LOVE sprinkles! I put sprinkles on almost everything! My favorite baking tool would probably be my mini-muffin baking pan…LOVE it!
rachel_demille@yahoo.com
That store is amazing! My favorite baking tool would probably be my cookie sheets. I love them. I don’t have any sprinkles except for Christmas ones and I would love to have more!
ebwinkle@gmail.com
Seriously?! I live in such a small town that I can’t even comprehend a store like that. Wow! I love sprinkles, but have to rely on my big city friends to send me cute ones.
i would love love love some tractor shaped sprinkles for my little tractor loving boy!
your post made me drooool!
AAH! I need to go to that store! I’m really excited to move into my new apartment in September where I’ll actually HAVE kitchen space. I love baking, but I’m so disgusted by my current kitchen that I can’t bring myself to make anything. I’ve been pestering my mom on all the kitchen things I want when I move. ^^;
My favorite baking tool is my big glass mixing bowl. My mom gave it to me when I moved away for college (though I really think she just wanted an excuse to buy a new crystal one from Princess House). I use it for nearly everything.
The small crunchy ball sprinkles are my favorite, but I’ve been having a hard time finding them anywhere, which is ridiculous because I live in a big city. :( I love rolling ice cream in them!
mochibuni@gmail.com
Wow, I think my eyes got wider as I scrolled down the page! And honestly, I really love my set of offset spatulas. I can’t believe people would try to ice a cake, cookie, etc with anything else!
stephensonjessica@mac.com
I just recently bought myself a pastry blender and it makes things to much easier! I am also addicted to sprinkles myself, it drives my husband crazy when I come home with a container of sprinkles because I usually have the same ones somewhere never opened!
QueenSerena77@yahoo.com
There are so many things to love…sprinkles, cutters, pans…my favorite right now is my large cupcake baking pan. My daughter loves it when I make a fun cake for her!
I’m guessing my favorite tool will be my KitchenAid Mixer. I got it as a gift at a wedding shower and I want to hurry up and get married so I can use it!!
I’m not much beyond the basic Wilton class as a decorator, but I love your blog for inspiration. Bright, shiny new pans, or doilies – love ’em.
Haven’t tried your cake pops yet – but I will!
I couldn’t bake without parchment paper. I’ve also become dependent on my springform pan – I can make the prettiest brownies using it.
Wow! I like the new pastry bag & tips I received for Mother's Day. Yay!
I have recently just started to bake and realized there is a lot I’m missing. So I really don’t have a favorite, just a wish list. I really want to try the cake pops though.
lanasouth@yahoo.com
That store looks Fab!
I love food paste. I love all the colors that you can work with. So fun.
Offset spatulas make frosting cakes and cupcakes so much easier! Less fingers accidentally getting in the frosting (not that I don’t enjoy a finger in the frosting every now and then).
my favorite thing definitely has to be baking cups, especially gold baking cups, im also in love with stand mixers in pink or baby blue because they remind me of the 50’s, and my favorite thing is to put sprinkles on my cupcakes, i actually want to get a tattoo of sprinkles and a bag of sugar, hopefully that gives away who this is ;)this blog got me really excited haha
uninspiredd@gmail.com is my email
That store definitely looks like heaven. LOL.
I’d have to say, my fave baking gadgets are a toss up between my 12″ square pan that I use for soooo many things, the heater core, and a big ol’ box of disposable bags.
In my house, the favorite item(s) would be sprinkles. I have two daughters who love to cover any & every surface with them!
I so wish I lived in GA right now! I would put us in the poor house living in that store!!
Hmmm my favorite baking tool would have to be my silpats. No more scraping burnt cookie crumbs off of pans!
Wow! I think that store is what my HEAVEN is going to look like! I may have to take a trip just to go there.
My favorite baking item would have to be my Wilton Bake Even strips. Anyway, I would really love to win sprinkles.
Love cake pans and cookie cutters. You can reach me at
lama24atgmaildotcom
I could spend hours in that store!!
My favorite baking things would be a tie between my cookie cutter collection or my Kitchen-Aid.
Put them together and I can spend all day baking!!!
I have been wanting a silicon flower press. yay!
I am insanely jealous that you get to shop at that store. I thought Hobby Lobby had a lot of cake supplies. It just won’t be the same shopping there now.
My favorite baking tool is my KA mixer. That’s kinda a given though, so my next favorite would be Viva paper towels. I wouldn’t have a smooth icing finish without them. :)
I LOVE Sprinkles! They are SO much fun! My kids love to help me decorate with sprinkles!
Alisha
alishaparker01@yahoo.com
It has to be my frosting spatulas. I have a big one and a mini one.
Wow!! That is insane. Glad I live on the other coast so I’m not tempted!
Wow! I never knew such a place existed…it’s like something out of a dream! I LOVE sprinkles. They turn a cute cupcake into a bite-sized party for your mouth!
wow i want to go to that store! i love the pig sprinkles! :)
pinkpugink@yahoo.com
I love the tinted (red & black) fondant. I wish we had a cake/candy supply store around here like you have in GA. I end up running around to 4 different stores in order to get everything I need. I have yet to find a place where I can buy a good quality pre-tinted red & black buttercream. I need to order some from Dixie's Icings.
Thanks for sharing!
i think I’d die of pure bliss upon entering this store! My fav baking utensil would have to be the springform pan. So handy!
Naenaetu.blogspot.com
there is so much i want to learn… but i would say the food pens. my girls would love those! i’m thinking of having some baking days with my girls this summer and sprinkles would sure add to the fun!
You are an inspiration! I love your your cake pops and your fabulous ideas and your blog. Thank you! I’ll have to see if I can get my husband to detour through Georgia on our summer vacation so I can check out that store.
Wow I can see how easily it would be to get totally carried away and I am not even a baker like you are. lol My granddaughter’s birthday is the end of July and I want to make some cake pops for her and her friends. We will see how I do :) This might be a silly thing but my MIL just taught me how to make pie crust (I am 50 and just now learning) She gave me a pie server and cutter combo which I LOVE! I always read your blog and pretend I can create fun stuff too lol – brookestranberg.blogspot.com
I have a vintage metal spatula that is awesome – it has a ceramic handle that is broken but I won’t throw it away I LOVE IT and they don’t make them anymore. I use it for all my baking goods.
I just love different cookie cutters!
My mother has a load of sprinkles, but we always run out becuase i’m always using them for cookies or cupcakes, or something. Anyways, we have these huge red heart sprinkles that we ration out only for Valentine’s Day because they are the cutest things. After a couple of years, were running low, and i don’t know how i can live without my heart sprinkles. Anyways, other than the heart sprinkles, i love everything, anything that can help me to create cakes or cupcakes, i’m there!!!!
I would go crazy in a store like that! I’d end up with every kind of sprinkle they have – and I don’t even like to eat sprinkles!
Favorite baking tool? Easy. Having two ovens. Don’t know how I lived without them. arosstx@sbcglobal.net
My favorite decorating tool are disposable icing bags from Wilton. Side note: The Wilton Tent Sale starts on May 29th. Have you ever been? It’s fabulous!
So many good tools and goodies in these pictures. I’d have to select the “dual sided graduated cutters.” They look awesome. I hope I’m randomly selected. :) fthhopluv@cox.net OR http://www.fthhopluv.blogspot.com
I totally miss the little silver balls. I used to use those every single time I made Christmas cookies, and I was so disappointed when they vanished :(
I love nonpareils – especially for Christmas cookies!
i am currently browsing their site. I love offset spatulas – best thing ever!
Cake Comb! = the best! :D
reinforcements@rocketmail.com
Wow! I wish I lived by that store. My favorite tool is my decorating tips.
I forgot to add my favorite kitchen item….HAS to be my kitchen aid mixer but my favorite “extra” is def. cool sprinkles…especially the rainbow sugar crystal ones….so pretty!
I can’t go paste the humble toothpick and end of a paint brush for decorating tools.
As for sprinkles, I think those teeny tiny hearts you use for noses are just the cutes.
I have some icing decorators that have made my life so much easier! Thank goodness! And, thanks for the chance to win! FUN!
I love any and all sprinkles! We put them on cakes, cupcakes, cookies and ice cream cones! What a fun store! Thank you, I love your blog!
tnkjensenfam.blogspot.com
tnkjensen@comcast.net
My current favorite is my square cupcake pan. Stack two to make an adorable little cube.
There is nothing like this store in New Zealand! I order most of my cake supplies online, but my cake leveler is my most useful can’t-live-without-you tool. The discovery of candy molds almost made my heart furiously flutter as well.
I so wish I could visit that store in person! I would be in heaven! I think my favorite tool is my kitchen aid mixer – wouldn’t be anywhere without that!
Katey Hyde at gmail dot com
i love any animal sprinkles. I use them as decoration on the edge of a cool whip and graham cracker sandwich. So good and light!
I love my cake decorating bag, personally. LOVE the thing!
http://www.elisabethsmusings.blogspot.com
I haven’t ventured into the world of fondant – yet – so my favorite tools are my piping tips.
I don’t have ANY sprinkles! Wow what a store…I spend too much just going to Hobby Lobby! I plan on making the Cap Cups this week using White mini-Reeses and white squares in addition to the chocolate ones! My cookie scoop is one of my favorite tools.
My favorite thing are different designs of cupcake cups, I always must have a whole bunch of them around.. I love Sprinkles too!!
Oh dear – that store looks like serious trouble! Good thing it’s over 1000 miles away! :) My favorite tool is an offset spatula – perfect for spreading frosting!
email – jsliedtke@neo.rr.com
I think my favorite thing to use is my dinosaur sprinkles!!! My kids love them!! It is one of those jars that has the 4 place divider in there!!! :)
We are a sprinkle-lovin’ house!
Krista :)
my kitchen aid. i never knew what the big deal was until my inlaws gave us one..it’s the best thing ever.
i am so jealous of your great baking store!
I absolutely love sprinkles! Looks beautiful in the kitchen, and can make any cake something special. Here in Sweden I don’t think we have stores like that. Makes me kind of sad.
I need to visit GA just to go to that store. My tool would have to be my dad. I love to decorate but just can’t do the baking part. So my dad bakes them for me and get to do the fun stuff.
http://www.laughteralways.blogspot.com
I can’t believe that I used to do any type of baking without parchment paper! It’s a lifesaver :)
alliewhoo@yahoo.com
i’m still searching for a set of miniture metal cutters that i *think* were intended for vegetables but would be perfect for miniture biscuits and fondant…my mum had some…
and as for the sprinkles i only have one pot at the moment! one!
poor impoverished student that i am
Wow, I could never take my paycheck into that store!
I have to say my very favourite has to be my KitchenAid mixer. I hand it the ingredients – it does the rest… I couldn’t live without it!
Holey Moley~
I think I would never leave that store if I ever went! It looks totally awesome! ANd I would totally love to have some sprinkles!!!
Hmmm, GA is right up the road from FL… I’m going to have to go there now!! Woohoo!!
I think I love my itty bitty cookie cutters the best. I use them to cut the top crust of my pies to make them pretty.
But I think I’m getting a serious hankering for some unique sprinkles that I never even knew existed before today!
I would love sprinkles! Any sprinkles that are winter themed (snowflakes!) and blue .. for my wedding this coming December! And cookie cutters! I make the best sugar cookies! And a cupcake pan! And cute cupcake wrappers! Bah! Now I want to go bake something. (And use more exclamation points!!)
mindily at hotmail dot com
OMG…I am surprised you were able to make it out of the store! That place is amazing. Looking at the pictures made me want to lay down in the fetal position. :) Really, I wouldn’t turn down anything if I won. You are so lucky – I cannot find anything like that in in the MPLS area.
mnswishers@earthlink.net
Sprinkles are my absolute FAVORITE decorating item! Like you, I just can’t get enough!
I love love love my mini loaf pan. I love making tiny loaves of banana bread in it. :)
M&M's. Love the regular size and the mini's.
I am SOOO jealous. Would it be crazy to fly there from SF? LOL I have always wanted some glitter dust.
i love the ergonomic cookie cutters! perfect for little hands!
rachel5453@aol.com
I live in Indianapolis, and there is not one store with serious sprinkles closer than a two-hour drive… so I’m jealous!! My favorite tool is my KitchenAid mixer. Sometimes I cook dinner in a way that allows me to use the mixer three or four times. :)
I lost all my cookie cutters on my last move! I wept for days….
Not really, but it was a LOT of cookie cutters!
Boy am I glad we don’t have a store like that around here! I would be in big trouble!
Favorite baking tool is a #3 Wilton writing tip. Use it all the time.
Hmmm, I ? my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I use it in almost every baking endevor. The bread hook is my fave!
Silpats!! Love ’em! I also love sprinkles…
That store looks like heaven on earth.
How Fun!!! My Children would love this!!!
Wow, I’m soooo jealous that you live near that baking store! I probably would have spent a lot of money by now!
My favorite tool to use is the Cake Leveler! No matter how even I think I spread the batter, or even when I use the cake strips outside of the pan, the cake is never completely leveled. I don’t have a very good hand to level it with a serrated baker’s knife, so the leveler is nifty and perfect to use!
Cookie cutters. I’m an addict. It’s a real sickness. kmg@sunflower.com
I wish we had something like this in Chicago.. or maybe we do and I still haven’t discovered it yet :o)
I absolutely cannot bake cupcakes without my cookie scoop.. it allows me to perfectly scoop out exact portions for even cupcakes :)
How has this store been in Tucker and I not know of it….
How I wish we have a store like that out where I live. My favorite baking tool are all of my cookie cutters. I have valuable drawer space where my husband pulls on thinking that there is something in there better than cookie cutters. I have probably every cookie cutter shape you could think of. I love me some sugar cookies.
I’m drooling over that store! How amazing!
I would have to say candy molds! (and the fillings!)
I was totally drooling reading this post! I love sprinkles!! Well actually, I drool over just about every post of yours! LOVE your blog! I aspire to try many of the creative things you have made – thanks so much for sharing your spunk & talent! Since I'm a beginner, I'm pretty happy with my huge star tip for cupcakes & also my disposable piping bags.. so easy!
My favorite tool is my spinner. Don’t know the technical name for it, but it’s like a large lazy susan which makes decorating my round cakes easy. I’m definitely am amateur cake decorator, but I enjoy it and enjoy learning new things. Would LOVE some sprinkles to add to my collection.
I’m so jealous! Our good cake shop closed down because it was in a crappy area of town :(
The thing I couldn’t live without in the kitchen? My 8 year old, he’s a wonderful helper :D
Wow, that store looks amazing! Too bad I live 2500 miles away! My favorite newly discovered baking item is parchment paper. I know it’s been around forever, but I just never believed it was worth it until I tried it – such beautiful cookies, and even helps my cheesecakes come out clean.
I would looove some new sprinkles! That shop looks amazing; we have one near us but it doesn’t look half as big!
I am just in love with sprinkles. But my dd loves to eat them out of a bowl. She skips the Ice cream and eats just the sprinkles.
http://www.howipinchapenny.com/
howipinchapenny at gmail DOT com
20 kinds of sprinkles? I can’t even imagine. I love my fondant smoother (is that the right name) it helps me out when I cover cakes… I also love my kitchenaid… otherwise making that mashmallow fondant would be crazy.
I’m so glad that store isn’t near me. I don’t need temptation that close to me.
I would love some sprinkles!
I see that there is a road trip in my future. Oh hubby…
ooooooooo… pretty!
I started saving tons of money when the cake decorating store near us closed!
My favorite baking implement is: for cakes — my cake saw. For cupcakes and muffins: my stoneware cupcake tin.

I’m going to have to drool over that kind of assortment for a while! What a heaven for bakers! I love using candy melts, there are so many things to do with them. As for sprinkes, I wish I could find some that have to do with swimming. Suits, goggles, fins…how cute would those be?
Ohh, I wish I lived close enough to visit in person!! My favorite tools have to be cookie cutters. I use them on cookies, brownies, cakes…. really, anything I can possibly stamp out. And I’d love to find some of those silver BB-looking sprinkles. I remember using them exactly once, and have never seen them available after that :(
I love the raised spatulas for icing. These have saved me many a knuckle-drag through the decor!
I use my little off-set spatula for everything!
My favorite cake decorating tool is your blog. After reading one of your posts, I suddenly feel like I can actually do this!!! And even more, you furnish the creativity that I’m lacking!! Very valuable tools!!!
Thanks for sharing this gem of a store! I didn’t even know it existed. I’ll be going very soon.
Hmm, it’s hard to choose a favorite item. My grandmother’s nut grinder is special. We use it to make almond cookies all the time. I really love every utensil, container, and appliance in my kitchen. It is my favorite room in the house.
What I still need are every color of jimmie/jimmy. I never seem to have them all at the same time.

WOW!!! It is a good thing that I don’t live anywhere near that store! I could see our household budget going down the drain ;)

what a wonderful store!! my favorite baking tool is my pampered chef rubber scrapey, there really is no imitation for it.
wow that store looks amazing – possibly even better in selection than my local seattle store, Home Cake Deocrating:

However, I’m certain my local store has prices that can’t be beat!
My favorite decorating item is something you can’t see or taste once your done using it! Whip aid! It’s a gelatin based powder that I put in fresh whipping cream when it’s just getting to soft peak. Once I’m done whipping the cream, this stuff keeps it from weeping! Whipped cream frosting, anyone????
Wow! It is a good thing I did not know about this store when I lived in Atlanta. Oh the trouble I would have been in! :-)
My favorite baking tool is the baking pan. There are so many different things you can do with a single pan – especially when you get creative. Although, my spatula spoon is pretty cool too!

Great photos! What a great way to tell all of us about the possibilities.
I love my spatulas, especially when you get to lick the batter off of them (I mean let my kids lick the batter off of them) when the cake/brownies/cookies are finished. :)
Your creations are still beautiful, by the way!
I do not know how I made cookies before discovering Parchment Paper and my extra large spatula.
You are an inspiration to me! Thank you for sharing yourself and your talent. I LOVE to (as my husband says) “stalk your website” – ha! My favorite baking tool at the moment is my baking stone. My kids and I have been enjoying baking giant chocolate chip cookies for family and friends.

My favorite baking item is definitely my cookie scoop that I use to scoop up my dough. I also use it for truffles and cake balls, too.

My favorite baking item is our brand new convection oven. My cake tester is a close second. ;)
Great photos! What a great way to tell all of us about the possibilities.

That store looks heavenly! I think my favortie baking gadget is my pastry bag and decorating tips.
Love, love, love spring form pans because they mean CHEESECAKE!
Ooooh, I shouldn’t be let loose in that store (or a fabric store, or craft store, or hardware store…) because I can’t control myself. I buy all the pretty things I can grab “just in case”.
My 2 yr old also has an affinity for sprinkles. In fact, it’s often hard to tell if there even is a cupcake or cookie underneath them all!
Pick me, please!! :)

I don’t do as much baking as I’d like, but I drooled over the rows of colored sprinkles and frosting! I love the bright colors! I love my spatula though…small steps, small steps!

Your sprinkle rack made me want one too! I have a lot of pampered chef baking items…love them all. The spatulas & mini scoop get used most often! I made your buttercream frosting a couple of weeks ago…so yummy!
we use a flower shaped cookie cutter every day – for my daughter’s lunch sandwich!

I’m so jealous of the cake disneyworld you have nearby!
I couldn’t live without parchment paper. I haven’t experimented too much with sprinkles, but I would totally start if I won 20 kinds.
I love my Silpat~ I would love to add to my growing collection of sprinkles!

Great site, love your ideas! My favorite tools are the tiny Wilton cookie cutters. Very fun to use to cut shapes out of rolled-flat gummy candies for use decorating cupcakes or cakes. Keep your ideas coming; made the cupcake pops and Paula Dean flourless chocolate cake for a recent party–huge hit!
I love my icing spatula. It’s the most useful tool in cake decorating!
kteedwards@gmail.com
Right now I’m really into piping frosting onto cupcakes and of course adding fun sprinkles.
The baking tool I couldn’t do without right now is probably my extra-long spatula that reaches alllll the way to the bottom of my KitchenAid mixer bowl. Comes in really handy with large-volume, dense batters, like my pound cakes.
And I LOVE Cake Art!! I had no idea you were anywhere remotely near the Atlanta area! I grew up going there with my mom. I now live out of the area, but I’m planning a visit to Cake Art…I mean, my parents.
Wow! That store is awesome!! I might have to plan a trip down to see it!
I think my favorite thing is my piping bag! I am having so much fun with it right now!
Thanks for the chance to win!!!
My favorite thing to decorate with is buttercream!!
kaycesv@msn.com
I’m not much a baker but I love supplies of all kinds so this post really makes me want to bake more! Also, it makes me really hungry for cupcakes.
Oh I love sprinkles! I totally get why you don’t have enough! I cannot live without my parchment paper!
That would have to be my cup cake carrier! I have 2 a pink and a red:)
Not an original answer, but my Kitchen Aid is IT! It’s just a kitchen necessity in about everything, certainly baking. No sprinkles store here. Live in the boonies. Blessings, Shay
I love my offset spatula . . . but I think I could become addicted to sprinkles and nice cupcake papers since coming to your site!
-Karen F.
What an INCREDIBLE store!!! Never seen anything like it here in the West.
My favorite tool is actually used for steaming plum puddings – I love my old tin Portuguese plum pudding molds, especially the little ones that I use to make plum puddings for gifts.
Some new sprinkles just might get me out of my textbooks and into the kitchen!!
Lynne Andagan – candagan@yahoo.com
I love using sprinkles too! It’s like the easy way to hide your mistakes! Haha :)
Hmmmm. I would have to say my Kitchen Aid mixer is my favorite tool.
I don’t do a ton of decorating, although we do like sprinkles around here! I’m just getting my guts up to make my first set of cake pops one of these days!
i LOVE my flat spatula.
OMG! I would never leave that store. I must go look at their website :) I love cake pans of all shapes and sizes. http://rpjenningsfamily.blogspot.com/
Believe it or not, Viva paper towels are my favorite decorating tools! They work wonders on smoothing out buttercream!
kylene@varnernet.com
Holy crap that store is awesome. My favorite tool is probably all my cookie cutters. I love using them for everything from sandwiches to actual cookies.
hollysjohnson@gmail.com
i LOVE icing/decorating bags. love them. i like to make cakes look pretty. so basically, anything that has to do with icing… :)
What a great store! I wish there was something like that around me! My favorite tool? A zip-lock bag to pipe frosting. No cleanup! I love sprinkles – and you had some amazing ones shown!

I bake TONS of cookies! Can’t live without parchment paper and for decorating I love sanding sugar!
Wow glad I kept going. I love my star tip.

That is one awesome store!!! We love any and all sprinkles around our house. My two little boys just eat them plain!
Currently my favorite baking items are all of the things necessary for cupcake botes and cake bites. While you are into little cake boxes, I’m obsessed right now with those tiny cupcake liners. I love that they are decorative now and not just white.

An offset spatula.
WOW!!!!

My fav gadget would have to be my bench scraper.. I used it for everything!!! I love that thing.
yvette
I would go nuts in that store. Wish we had something even remotely close to that where I live. I’d have to say I love sprinkles too. I’ve never seen so many different kinds, very cool.
Wow. Good thing I don’t live anywhere near that store! I’d be broke! But it is so AWESOME!
My favorite tool for cakes is the grass icing tip. With different colored green frosting in the bag, it makes the cutest grass. I love it.
And I’m sure I could find a million things to do with sprinkles!
