My favourite candy on Halloween is peanut butter reese’s cup and candy corn, although it’s really really hard to find in Barcelona. And I love dressing up as corpse bride, hallowwen has become very popular in the past couple of years :-)

My favorite costume was the only homemade one I ever did. I used poster board and made myself into a paper doll. My favorite candy is either mounds or smarties.
Anything chocolate-y is good, but cookie crumble chocolate is one of my favourites.

I’ve always enjoyed dressing up as an older grandmotherly type with a great mask and babushka! Wearing gloves keeps the kids guessing about my real age. Of course now that I AM a grandmother it’s not as much fun for me! Butterfingers are my Halloween guilty pleasure!

I’ve been on a total Snickers kick as of late. My favorite costume growing up was a unicorn – black stretchy unitard, hooves made from Styrofoam cups and a homemade horn decorated with stickers. Pretty sure there was a yarn tail pinned on too.

My most favorite costume has to be last year’s. I started working at Jo Ann and with all the fabrics there I got inspired to make my costume. Now the last thing I have sewed was curtains and I’m trying to remember my 7th Grade Home Economics class. The last piece of clothing I made was a shirt now 30+ years ago. What did I do? I decide I’m going to make a medieval style dress in velvet! I did it with the help of a YouTube video. Now its way too big since I lost 34 pounds now. LOL!!!
My favorite and go-to costume each year is a vampire. I’ve got this gorgeous, black gothic-y dress that has belled sleeves…..it’s so pretty! I also have custom fit fangs that can be worn again and again. Makes things much easier than with the cheap disposable kind.

About ten years ago, I used to hand sew my kids’ costumes. One year I made my oldest a hershey’s kiss – I used light blue lamé as the foil… she even had a twisted hat with the hershey’s paper coming out of the top!

When I was little my brother and I would always come home from our trick-or-treating and spread our candy out on the floor and trade for the flavors we liked. I always gave him my Snickers and he would give me his Dots and Kit Kats. Those are still two of my favorite candies to this day. Ahhh memories. Such fun! :)

A few years ago I bought a nice Snow White costume on clearance and that has been my go-to costume ever since. I do it all — hair, makeup, and shoes — and when I open the door to give out candy I love to see the reaction of the little kids. One year a little girl looked up at me and screamed to her mom, “Mom! Mom! Look! It’s SNOW WHITE!!!” So cute!

Only the holiday shaped Reeses peanut butter cups! Pumpkins, Christmas Trees, Easter Eggs, Hearts – perfect ratio of chocolate and peanut butter! And I used to love finding “PAL” bubble gum, but they have discontinued making it. So ready for the fall! :)

The best costume I made was for my husband. I covered his clothes with strips of beige clothe, his shoes with medical tape and made a mask for his entire head! The he sat in a rocking chair in the driveway with the candy as a Zombie!!

One year I made a white bunny rabbit costume for my 6 ft 5 inch husband, and a carrot costume for me. These were our all time favorite costumes. Oh, and any chocolate is my favorite!
