These cookies are just as tasty as they look. I made them a couple of weeks ago and I wish I had about a dozen of them right now. I think they’d do just the trick to cure me of this cold/cough/grossness that I’ve had for the last several days. I’m super tired of feeling under the weather, but I’m getting better… at least good enough to get on the computer to finally post these yummies.
Chips and bits. A tiny ton of chocolate, toffee and butterscotch goodness, baby.
This cookie dough totally makes me want to grab the biggest spoon I can find.
Just don’t get carried away tasting… gotta make sure to save enough spoonfuls to bake, you know.

These were a huge hit! So good!
Made these to go with some fancy blue mountain coffee that I just got. Delicious!
These look utterly divine. I WANT COOKIES NOW!!!!!???
Keren:
Try refrigerating the dough for a couple of hours 1st & baking cold. or you could up the flour a little to make the cookie a little more “cakier” & less chewy.
Just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying this site. Keep up the amazing work.
The perfect cookies!! :)
A great way to start spring break! YUM!
I just made these and they are SO yummy, but- they came out really flat. How can I get them to be a little thicker?
These look great! I’d substitute the sugars for some coconut palm sugar and use some dark chocolate chips for when I make them and let you know how it turns out. Thanks for sharing.
I might give it a try next week and see how it goes.
Yum
I can’t wait to try these.
Your chocolate ideas are always great :))
Butterscotch is my absolute favorite and I just love the crunch from the toffee bits. Adding these to the must-try list!

These combine pretty much all of my favorite things into one cookie. I’m so hooked!
Grea . Cookie. Recipe? . ?
Erika, they sell butterscotch chips in Walmart. I stumbled upon them last week
Thanks for this recipe. Looks yummy! Reminds me of my latest happy baking “make-do:” I was mixing dough for regular chocolate chip cookies. I realized I didn’t have enough chocolate chips (OH NO!), so started rummaging around in the cabinet. I found an open bag of toffee bits, so poured those in with the chocolate chips I did have. Oh. My. Goodness. I will never bake another regular old chocolate chip cookie again. The toffee bits made them amazing.
Ah, looks great! but I don’t think we have butterscotch bits in Canada! :(
I think I need to make a grocery trip to the US!
Erika, I live in Canada and am able to get toffee bits in Walmart. They are SKORS toffee bits. They are in the baking aisle.
I’ve been making these at least once a month using the Toll House recipe and I add the toffee bits and butterscotch chips, too – the guys in the office are crazy for these! I also sometimes add coconut – the exposed coconut gets toasty when the cookies are baking in the oven. YUM!
Oh wow. These look delicious! Can’t wait to try them after my oven is fixed next week. I have been so sad that it’s broken :(
These look divine!
These have everything we love in them! And the dough looks yummy and the biggest spoon definitely wouldn’t be enough to satisfy us! We’d need several spoonfuls! Thanks for the recipe!
OMG those look amazing :D feel good.
Yummy
