The other day I was doing a little impromptu shopping. I had already spent more than I wanted and I was about to pass the Williams-Sonoma store. I said to myself. “Walk faster. Faster. Don’t look in. You don’t need anything else. Whatever you do…
…don’t stop…
Don’t look in the …”
Dang. They got me.
I really tried not to go in, but how could I be complete without these Star Wars Cookie Cutters. I knew if I left empty handed, I’d wish I had bought them in the off chance someone I know wants Boba Fett cookies one day. So I went in, telling myself the whole time I would just have a peek. I can resist.
I can resist so well that I only bought two. One for me and one for you. Okay, one for one of you.
Now, I like to bake to go along with a giveaway if I can, but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to make and pipe these this weekend and I just couldn’t wait to show you these cutters. Plus, my piping skills might deter you from wanting to try them. Piping royal icing is a skill I need to work on, but the way to go if you’re up for it. They’d still be super cute just like this photo from the back of the box, though.
The cutters have plungers that make impressions in the sugar cookie dough as you cut shapes.
You can whip up some Storm Troopers…
A Dark Lord perhaps.
Maybe some Boba Fett’s just so you can say the name over and over.
And you have to make Yoda, of course. Make him you should. And eat him you shall.
But… but wait… where’s Chewbacca and R2-D2? What’s up with that? I want to nibble on a little Wookiee. And maybe a little Harrison Ford.
They need a second edition. Fingers crossed.
The set comes packaged in a cute box with a recipe for cookies and icing.
Besides the kiddies going gaga for these, I think it would make a great gift for Daddy’s Day. Well, it might make some Daddy’s Day, not all.
Find them at Williams-Sonoma or…

shannonwilli – congrats and tell your husband to brush off his yoda costume. Fun times ahead.
Oh how cute! My little brother would love cookies in the shape of Boba Fett, he’s so proud that a fellow New Zealander (Temuera Morrisson) played a major role in the movies! Inspires me to bust out my yoda walkie talkies!
Oh My God! They are unbelievable! Amazing :)
luke… i am your father.
My friends and I love Star Wars!!! One Christmas I made them scarves with embroidered names of characters that we appointed each other. I would love to make my friends these cookies!!!
My husband loves Star Wars. My brother loves Star Wars. I wish I lived in the States so I could order me those sweet cookie cutters!
These are amazing! When I was lived with a group of friends a few years ago and had far less responsibility, one of our friends confessed she’d never seen Star Wars so we dedicated the weekend to watching all six Star Wars films back to back! It was many, many hours by the end of which we were all a bit delirious but worth it :D xxx
Wow, my boys would LOVE these! They are adorable! Thanks for sharing!
All of my three kids loves Star Wars! They are collecting figures and books, and I think both my 10 yo and my 4 yo son can name more figures than me ;)
So these would be perfect to make cookies for my 4 yo upcoming birthday in July :)
My husband and I are HUGE fans of Star Wars since like forever!
He has a thing for Darth Vader and I love the Yoda character.
The Star Wars cookie cutters make me win you shall… ;-)
I love Yoda. When our dog yawns, he sounds just like him!
Oh, and I once participated in a World of Warceaft reenactment of one of the fights from the original Star Wars…complete with dialogue. If that isn’t getting your nerd on, I don’t know what is.
One of the first two pet mice I had I named Ewoka after the ewoks. she died a few months ago and the two newest mice i bought had babies (oops). Well one of the babies looks just like Ewoka did so and its a boy so I named him Han after Han Solo. Mice make good easy college pets.
Love to win these cookie cutters I would! My sons love Star Wars. At present time they are obsessed with Clone Wars. I agree, WS should come out with a second edition. I would love to bite off Princess Lea’s cinnamon bun braids! :)
I’m really a fan of Star Wars but I would LOVE to have these Star Wars cookie cutters cause I collect all kinds of cookie cutters! I actually wanted to purchase these from Williams-Sonoma’s online store but apparently they don’t do international shipping. So disappointing. :(
O…M…G! Those are brilliant! I LOVE Star Wars; grew up with the movies, had some action figures of my own, and now, now I must have these cookie cutters!
Oh, these are a cookie cutters are a must have! I saw Star Wars in the theater when it came out – there’s even a picture of six year-old me in a Darth Vader T-Shirt.
I love the 3 original Star Wars movies. Han Solo was of course my favorite when I was but a girl, but I think the cookie cutter that’s really missing in this package is Princess Leia with her bun-like braids (-:
My boyfriend has tried to make me watch Star Wars but still haven’t :) I still have some knowledge about the characters, it’s hard to miss references to the series…
I’m sure that if I had Star Wars cookies, I’d have no problem to stare at the telly for few hours :)
My hands down favorite scene is in Empire Strikes Back when Han is about to be cryofrozen and Leia steps up and says, “I love you!” and Han just says, “I know.”
SO GOOD!!!! Me and my friend used to recite that scene over and over and shriek whenever he said it.
I’m a sci-fi geek married to a sci-fi geek. We love Star Wars! When I was younger, my brother and I had every action figure available, a Millenium Falcon with flashing lights, and our own At-ats. Also, my husband’s birthday is May 25 which is the same day the first Star Wars movie was released in theaters! This would be a great birthday present for him. :)
I saw these in the latest Williams Sonoma mailer last week and I have to have them. I have so many friends who are Star Wars fans, not to mention my husband and his coworkers at Zombie Studios in Seattle. I want to make them for everyone! My Star Wars memory is standing in line with my mom, brother, and grandfather when I was five years old. We waited in a line that went around the block to see the first airing of Star Wars at the WestCove theater in West Covina. I don’t even remember much about the actual experience of seeing the movie, but I do remember that line! My grandfather was a sci-fi nut and was in his glory. Happy days for sure.
My Star Wars memory is of driving 75 miles and standing in line for 9 hours to be the first to see the movie! I also did this for Kong and the first Superman movie…then I turned 30 and decided I might be too old for that stuff!
My husband and best friend can quote the entire move…well the original 3 any way… i would love to surprise him with these for dads day
I heard the phrase “Luke, I am your father” before I watched the movie itself. When I heard it, I always thought it was “Look, I am your father” and it wasn’t until watching the movie that I realized his son’s name was “Luke”….haha.
I have a Star Wars wall in my living room (well actually a wall and half), full of posters and puzzles…not to mention countless other collectibles. :)
I could certainly use some cookie cutters to go with it all!
For International Star Wars day this year, my friends and I went around uni standing outside buildings and ‘opening’ automatic doors with the force. Would absolutely love these to bake some Star Wars cookies for next year!
My son loves star wars and would flip over these cute cookie cutters.
I don’t really like Star Wars..but anything made into a cookie cutter work for me!
most star wars memory is of seeing the first ‘new’ one with a friend and her accidentally stripping down to her bra when trying to take off her jersey…. oops!
my husband buys them and claims for “for the children.”
I hope that someday they will arrive in France, and it’s not only 2 I will buy for sure !!
I’m completely in love with the films, all of them, my four little boys too, we have many books, legos battleships, posters, my elder play the piano all the music films and they all dream to fight with lightsabers … we maybe only miss these cute wonderful cookies cutters …
thank you for this little part of dream !
I love R2D2.. My daddy is the biggest nerd in the world, and has passed it on to me! I would love to make him some cookies :-)
My little brother is crazy about star wars so it would be really cool to do some star wars cookies for him!(:
My friends and I had Star Wars/Sith Lord nick-names in high school. Mine was Darth Cin. Creative, I know. We were a bunch of nerdy girls who grew up to become nerdy ladies :) It is also my Birthday this week… so if I don’t win, my friends will just have to buy me a set :)
My 6 year old is obsessed much to my husband’s delight and my 4 year old DAUGHTER is following suit asking for Star Wars Legos for her birthday. We have a 2 year old boy and another boy on the way so Star Wars we will have for a while!
these cookie cutters are awsome. just love Star Wars
I love these!!! My parents love Star Wars, so I grew up on the movies (the originals of course). I was convinced I was going to marry Han Solo…
OMGGGGG, I love the original Star Wars…The Empire Strikes Back…FYI Spike TV will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with the original trilogy marathan May 22nd!!!!!
I watched all the Star Wars movies with my 10 year old brother.. he’s half my age, and yet he manages to force me to do whatever he wants! He’s my everything, and I know he would go crazy for these cookies. Plus he’s about to turn 11.. and I know what he’d love even more than a birthday cake :) STAR WARS COOKIES!
My boys are die hard Star Wars fans! The big boy of the house too. Anakin is by far our favorite and we would love these cookie cutters–something they can enjoy making at home, sharing with their friends and hanging onto for my grandkids someday.

I am a baker like you (well, not as badass as you are), and I once made little death stars out of marzipan for my little brother. If I got this set, I would litterally be able to control him with cookies !
May the luck be with me !
i was never all that into star wars, but my husband and best friend are! i would love to make cookies for them.

Episode 3, when they put all of the pieces together and you understand how Vader becomes Vader. Loooove the cutters, keeping MY fingers crossed!
Yes, I’m a woman and yes, I’m a total nerd and Star Wars is one of my very favorite things. :D I have collected a few figurines and I will admit to having friends who own lightsabers. Nothing is better than the original trilogy but I do love watching Revenge of the Sith the most.
These are sooooo awesome! My husband would love some Boba Fett or Yoda cookies for Father’s Day. We dressed our daughter up as Princess Leia with the big ole buns on her head for her first Halloween. She was sooo cute. Good Luck! :)
My. Oh. My. My husband can’t get enough of Star Wars… in a very understated way – but he’s definetly “Star Wars Intellectual”. Now he has a son, (18 mo. old), and I’m bracing to do all of this – just to have that silly smile warm my heart.
I don’t like star wars, but I like your blog, and like funny cookies :)
I have too many friends who love Star Wars. My husband and I are geeks, but really only enjoy the movies with the Rifftrax (www.rifftrax.com). Love the cookie shapes though and we have an annual Star Wars Christmas Special (with Rifftrax) holiday party – these cookie cutters would be perfect for helping me feed our guests at that event.
I totally grew up watching the original Star Wars. Love the trilogy. My sister and I even dressed up one year as ewoks for halloween. Please pick me!
Gasp! I used to collect those toys!
I love these (and Star Wars) so much, I decided I MUST have them. So I decided to go straight to the Williams-Sonoma website to place an order. But they don’t ship to Australia *cry* I hope that policy changes soon.
oh my gosh, i love these! where were these when i had to do a star wars party for my son? i’ve always been a huge fan of star wars, married a man who is a huge fan and created another little fan, our seven year old son. i’m hoping our one year old daughter will eventually join the fan club. :)
I don’t remember when the movie came out, but I do remember standing in lines for hours with my brother and stepdad to see it. I cried the whole time cuz I didnt want to see it but my stepdad made me, the joke ws on him when we finally got in I took a nap through the whole movie lol!!!!! But I love the cookie cutters they are so awesome!!!!! May the force always be with you :)))))))))))))) Anne A.
When I was a litlle girl, my mother let my brother and I switch choosing which movie to see every other Saturday. Star Wars was my brother’s favourite movie, so I saw one of the original three Star Wars movies every other Saturday. Strangely enough I only seem to remember the scene where the Ewoks worship C3PO.
These are seriously amazing! After having moved across the country to live with family members all of my cute kitchen stuff is gone. Now that I am moving into a new apartment soon this would be the perfect housewarming gift! ?
The boyfriend and I are huge geeks, we love Star Wars. I’m excited about the release of Star Wars: the Old Republic. Still so far away, though!
My favorite thing about Star Wars isn’t Star Wars, it’s Spaceballs! Anything that inspires a character as awesome as Dark Helmet is ok by me,
My 4 year old DAUGHTER is obsessed with Star Wars. She knows everything about it…it’s a little creepy…especially when she talks about Tatooine and random SW stuff! Last year she had a mixed up birthday party….1/2 Star Wars, 1/2 Princess….we would LOVE these!
I never watched Star Wars until I married my husband. He got my 3rd child hooked to star wars…watched it over 100 times. 3rd child who is turning 12 in a couple of weeks have been using his Daddy’s star wars blanket that he had when he was young. Hubby is turning 40 this year and still loves Star Wars!
Yoda is my favorite. He is very wise. =)
I hope to win these lovely cutters!
My favorite thing about Star Wars is watching my son & husband bond over the whole thing! Legos…books…movies…CLOTHES. My son even got to do Jedi Training at Disneyland last month and it was the highlight of his LIFE. Love it. These cookie cutters would be such a fun treat!
Ohmy god!!! I’m a Star Wars fan. Love these.
I’m into Luke, Yoda & R2D2. Haha
I have Star Wars lego keychains, watches and a large R2D2 canister! And I watch reruns of Star Wars every time I have the chance.
these are awesome! husband LOVES star wars! the movies are timeless!
OMG these are great! My friends and I are in a band called Delia Blue, one of the characters from the comic. Must serve these at a show!!!
What a wonderful cookie cutter set. I would love to win one, even if the chance is quite poor *lol* My favourite charakter is R2-D2 and I would like to nibble at Harrison Ford as well *big grin*. My dh and I love Babylon 5 and watch it again on DVD at the moment….
I don’t even know how to say something little about Star Wars. I was obsessed with all of the movies as a kid and that obsession never really ended. I may or may not have Star Wars action figures hanging on my wall…ahem.
I made my son a lightsaber cake for his birthday last year. I used jelly roll pans and tried to carve it into the shape of a lightsaber. It was pretty hideous, but it was bigger than him, so that should count for something, right? In the long run?
Oh, and I find myself calling them lightsavers all the time.
Pick me, pick me, please!
I am looking at Star Wars figures right at this very moment. And that is because in this little nook of the “dining room” in our one-bedroom apartment where our computer lives, there are two display boxes of Star Wars actiion figures HANGING ON THE WALL!!! Yeah, it’s that bad. Many of them are my boyfriend’s originals from when he was a kid, so I guess they’re kind of cool. Kind of. : )
Oh My GOD these look so cool!!!! I have spent most of my life trying to learn how to make the Chewbacca noise (yeah, I’ve even tried the youtube tutorial) to no avail. I’m a failure in life!!! I would bake these all for myself, watch star wars, and make it into an eating game- eat the character’s cookie whenever they appear onscreen!!!! :)
Gotta be Vader. My wife would love these.
I watch the Clone Wars on Cartoon Network from time to time. My favorite character on that version is probably R2. He’s so spunky!
My son was lucky enough to spend his 7th birthday at Disneyland – he was chosen to battle Darth Vader – a way cool event for his special day! Crossing my fingers that I’m “the chosen one.”
Ooohhh how cute are they!! Something about Star Wars?? Well I still remember going to see it when I was on my trip to Tassie from Adelaide. We stopped at Melbourne and went to the movies to see The Phantom Menace :)
I love love love Yoda and R2-D2. I actually just went to a friend’s wedding who did a Star Wars wedding. It wasn’t really cheesy though, but he did dress as a jedi and have 2 storm troopers and an imperial guard. My favorite was that they had a moving R2-D2 robot as the ring bearer.
My fiance is a HUGE Star Wars fan. I bought him Star Wars lego figurine magnets to share with his son and somehow they all ended up on the magnetic whiteboard in his office…. He would love Star Wars cookies, although I would have to endure weeks of Yodaisms after the cookie eating!
My husband loves Star Wars but when we recently went to an 11-year olds birthday that had some actors arrive in the full stars wars gear of Darth Vader, Anakin, Boba Fett and a Storm Trooper my normally un-flappable 2 year old was climbing up my legs scared out of his mind. He was more than happy to give them high-fives but had to have his Mummy carrying him tight at all times. Maybe cookies would be a way to ease him into the movies!
Aaahhhh, the cute Starwars cookie cutters! Do want! <3
I enjoy the original trilogy. The Anakin trilogy bothers me a bit. R2-D2 is my favorite character, but I have a good friend who reminds me of C-3PO (a lot!). :] My boyfriend is really into it, but I enjoy nerdy/geeky stuff a lot too!
Hey, it’s not just SONS who are into Star Wars! My daughter absolutely loves Star Wars, the Clone Wars, anything related. She was very tickled to find some kind of mini light saber at the thrift store last week! I love the first three movies but never watched the second three, which are the first ones, well, you know! I couldn’t imagine Star Wars without Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie. I would love to have these and make some cookies to surprise my daughter!
Oh. My. Goodness. Best cookies ever.
These would be perfect at our star wars movie marathons. Intense sessions of watching as many as we can handle at once. Love them!
I could get favorite daughter status back with these!
My sister had another baby. I just can’t compete without star wars cookie cutters.
Love Love Star Wars. I actually wanted to have a Leia & Han Solo Pair for our wedding cake :)
These wookie … I mean cookie cutters are adorable!!
When we were dating, my now husband found out I had never seen Star Wars so he made me watch each one til we had seen them all. He realizes that was pretty geeky and also pretty risky but I stuck around and we have a good laugh about it now! Anything Star Wars reminds me of this story. :)
My husband wanted to name one of our twins (if we had a boy) Anakin…go figure…as a little girl always wanted to be princess leah..had the hairdo and all
I didn’t see the first Star Wars movies until I was in college–and then I saw all three in one night. I’ve come to love them–especially with the additional three movies.
Favorite character? Yoda, of course.
intresting star wars fact. They misused the term parsecs incorrectly in the first movie when Solo brags that the falcon can get there “in less than twelve parsecs”. A parsec is a unit of distance not time.
When I first heard about Darth Vader i thought it was “Dark Vadar” hahaha
Oh My!!! I so NEED these, for two specific reasons. First off my bro-in-law is a huge star wars fan, and I mean HUGE! He has so much star wars stuff that he has an entire room dedicated to it and his wife has threatened bodily harm to anyone who purchases anything to add to his collection. So these would be awesome to make for him, because he would love them and I would be alive to bake another day. Also I remember that Star Wars was the first movie I saw in the theater as a child. I remember sitting waiting in line with my older brother and aunt and the anticipation.
ahhh. these are so awesome! my dad would totally freak out if i got these. he loves, loves, LOVES star wars. he would demand star wars cookies every week.
favorite = storm troopers!! they’re wickedly awesome.
my boyfriend made me sit through the whole series….yoda, my favorite is he.
Oh wow!!! How do you find these things? There arent any shops half as cute in england :(. I ADORE star wars. I always have. Ive got about 4 star wars t shirts! I hope you put up the piped cookie pictures! Cant wait to see.
Lots of love x
they got me to sista
OMG yes! Love it! I still have my Ewok pez dispenser from when I was 12
Wow! My son would absolutely flip over Star Wars sugar cookies. How cool! Several years ago, when he was only about 3 he insisted on eating at Burger Kings all around the country trying to collect all the Star Wars toys that came in the kids meals. :)
While watching Star Wars, we play a drinking game, where everyone drinks each time Luke whines. That’s right. . we drank a lot that night lol
Not only does my husband love all the movies (I do as well), when we went into Pottery Barn kids the other day he was drooling over their star wars room! I could just see his mind making over our bedroom, hahahaha.
I do not love Star Wars….but my dear friend does, and I can’t wait to make her cookies with these!
I haven’t seen any of the movies but I do love Yoda it reminds me of my first crush because he went on vacations and bought a Yoda key chain for me :)
so cute lol
and I also have a little hand-made figurine they gave as thank you gift in a party… (which wasn’t star-wars themed but the guy that did the figurines really needed the money)
I don’t know why but I really want those cutters! :P
have a nice day!
There was only one time I cried in Cinema, I was 11 and the move was Star Wars I – Die dunkle Bedrohung… how could they kill Qui-Gon Jinn, he was my absolute favourite character in this movie…
My favourite character of the old trilogy is of course Princess Leia with her magnificent hair!
I LOVE Star Wars! One of my favorite movie franchises :) I would have to say that my favorite is Princess Leia. I love her attitude and her strength.
:o :o :o :o :o :o
I WANT THEM!!! I NEED THEM !!!
Dark side got me. :-$
May the 25th is the “friki pride day” here, in Spain. These cookies should be a “must have”.
When a SMS comes to my cellular phone, is R2D2 who tells me. My first wedding cake (though not real cake) was a Star Wars themed cake (http://blogolosas.com/index.php?op=ViewArticle&articleId=1888&blogId=2). I love Yoda and R2D2. I WANT TO MAKE THOSE COOKIES.
Oh, my. I’m lost on the dark side.
these are so cute! i love star wars…my dog looks just like a chewbacca :)
Star wars holds a special place in my heart. Not only are the movies amazing, but I had my first kiss watching the 5th one. :)
i can say that i have not watched the whole star wars series yet…i’ve only watched episode I and II..i am a disgrace! but i like queen amidala because she is a strong feminine character (and also because she is played by natalie portman!)
my boyfriend would DIE if i got these!!! i’m so excited they made them.. i have been looking forEVER!!!
our collection of star wars figures may someday be complete. lol.
and padme is the best. duh. ^_^
these are just the cutest things ever.
Growing up we did’nt have cable. But we had maybe 10 movies, some of which were the Star Wars trilogy. I’m a huge fan, to say the least, and I’ve made fans out of my little girls too. :) It would be special and super fun to make these with them!
my poor “middle child syndrome” husband LOVES star wars… but somehow he never gets any star wars stuff… why, because Gilbert (the spoiled oldest brother) LOVES star wars and everything about it, so everyone always gives it to him… my poor dear forgotten middle child husband… oh how he would love a batch of these for father’s day.
I was about fourteen when I first saw Star Wars, it was when they had refurbished the old trilogy with fancier effects and they had another round at the cinemas. I loved it so much, and got a crush on Luke Skywalker. All because the movie we were going to see was sold out.
I don’t really have a favourite, but if I did, it certainly wouldn’t be one of the prequels. Also, a friend of mine has giant cardboard letters spelling out Star Wars in his living room.
My husband is a huge fan and I would love to make him some cute cookies that he would love!
Oh my gosh, my husband would be in LOVE with these. He is a major fan. We even bought the Lego Wii game and I finished the whole thing! Pick me so I can make these for my honey!
Ich liebe Star Wars. Es war mein erster Kinofilm den ich gesehen habe. Am besten gefallen mir Chubaka, Han Solo und Meister Joda.
LG Ina
My husband is a Star Wars uber-fan! I think the reason he married me is because I can make a mean Wookie yell..anything for him.. :)
Can I enter if I’m in the UK…? Love the site by the way!
My little boy is obsessed with everything Star Wars (he’s 6) and has a room full of Star Wars stuff! His Christmas list last year consisted pretty much of everything Star Wars! Oh, and he loves anything to do with baking, so he’d think these were amazing!!
My brother is a Star Wars fan! He’d love these!
Although I am pretty much deathly afraid of aliens, I have seen Star Wars. All of them. In the proper order (4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3). I watched one a day for six days with my boyfriend while we were dating – he’s now my husband!
I can’t believe it! What will WS think of next? I love that store and now they have entered a new level of coolness with Star Wars- no way! I hope I win!
Our freshmen week here at college will be Star Wars themed this year, so these cookies would make the perfect addition to a prize pack we’ve put together. My favorite movie would be the first (new) one, because I love Qui-Gon and young Obi-Wan. :)
Thanks for the giveaway!
Wow, I love those cutters, Do I really have to say that my favourite character is Harrison Ford? :D
Those cookie cutters are so awesome! My favorite character has got to be Han Solo. Loved him as a kid and love him today as an adult :) Thanks for the giveaway!
I am so not a Star Wars fan, but these would be so fun for Father’s Day for my hubby who is a fan! :)
what cookie cutter collection would be complete without star wars cutters?? i can’t wait to make some cookies…please post your cookies when they are iced. my fav character is R2D2, love the comic relief.
Star Wars are go-to movies in this house when we’re bored. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen them all straight through any one time, but I’ve sure seen them a lot!
My 18 month old son LOVES anything Star Wars. He roams the house with the light saber making the oosh noises. It is very cute and all, but seriously? He’s only 18 months old! I think he’s learning it from his big brother…just a thought? My boys would be in heaven if I made them Star Wars cookies….oh I can see their cute little faces now! And my fav…Empire Strikes Back!!
I love the Star Wars movies! Um, well, those that I’ve seen, anyway. Well, at least the parts of those that I’ve seen. I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve not seen them all, and those I have seen I didn’t actually watch in their entirety. How many are there?! *sigh* One day. When I have more time to sit and watch movies!
Wow! They look awesome! I grew up with a Mom who could not resist to switch on the TV every time they where showing episode 4-6. I loved it. :) I could not tell which charakter I love most but last Christmas I got a litte stuffed Chewbacca. :) Too cute!
My little family and I aren’t huge fans of Star Wars, I watched it growing up, and my husband watched it as a grown up! But I have a friend who is so sweet and crafty and is always making the funnest projects and always has a fun little gift for me. She even invites me over to her house so I can have fun copying her ideas. Her family is HUGE star wars fans. Their son is named Luke. Yes, for Luke Skywalker. This would be such a fun gift to give her, she would use them, and her husband would LOVE eating them.
I LOVE YODA
I dont have a favorite character but I love light sabers. zooommm zooom
Darn you Bakerella! These will be a must have in our house. I’m so out numbered with boys, husband and dog – everything is Starwars, Clone Wars in our houses. If I have these it might get me off the hook from making a 3D clone cake in August. I can dream right?
My boys record and save every episode of Clone Wars on Friday night and it is the first they watch on Saturday mornings. We own almost every Star Wars Lego set, action figure and ‘vehicle’ marketed to kids (big and little).
Thanks for the heads up!
I saw these was tempted to buy!! I don’t have a fave Star Wars sequel, but i do love those wockee things. You know, they look like bears or whatever.
Those ccokie cutters look soo cute. I have begun to collect cutters and now need another container to store them all in as the drawers are full! Love your posts.
my brother was so obsessed with star wars he even had a star wars room. he collected the action figures for quite some time and probably has over 1000 of them!! he even has some in mint condition. yeah he was just a little bit of a star wars geek. lol
Of course Williams Sonoma would think of this. Its absolutely brilliant. I see 2 dozen Yoda cookies in my future. Who doesn’t love Yoda?
I think I watched the 3rd one in elementary school….so not a huge star wars person…but I have 4 nieces and nephews that LOVE Star Wars….They were Star Wars characters for Halloween the past two years! Maybe if I have these, I can get them to visit me in Japan!! I’d be the coolest aunt…ever.
Oh I LOVE Star Wars!!!! I grew up watching them and dressed up as C-3PO one halloween and decorated a garbage can as R2-D2 and had it with me for the day. Love Love LOVE Star Wars. I love it all. If I had to choose something about it that was my favorite … um … anytime Leia did the whole girl-power thing and showed the boys she was totally awesome. LOVE the cookie cutters! You rule Bakerella! (this would have been a great giveaway on May 4. You know – May the fourth be with you. Sorry – true Star Wars geek :)
I need this to make cookies for my son. He loves Star Wars!
my best friend is a completely star wars freak – and of course, because she just has to be contrary… her favorite character is darth vader. this cookie set would make the most PERFECT cookies for her!!
I grew up on the films.. did the princess hairdo as soon as I had enough hair to.. And now my baby brother is UTTERLY addicted to EVERYTHING Jedi.
I love Yoda…cant get any better than him!!!
Episode 3 was the last movie hubby and I watched in the theater.
so cute! i love R2!
Oh, Star Wars. You have to love R2D2. I even have two little figurines of him. Okay, so one of them is green, and apparently some other kind of R2 model. Whatever, it’s amazingly adorable.
when i moved into my boyfriends place, there were starwars action figures lining the bedroom ceiling. Needless to say they are no loner there ;)
I love Darth Fener. Simply.
oh how awesome…the fella would love these!!
I love Star Wars, all of them! My fiance has a growing collection of Star Wars stuff and he would die if I made cookies for him with these cutters. I wonder if the toronto WS has them? I hope so, in case I don’t win them.
When I was 14 I was totally in love with Luke Skywalker… I saw the original trilogy at least 20 times.
My favourite Star Wars movie is Episode 1, and my favourite character from that movie is little Anakin Skywalker :D
Jake Llyod was so cute in that movie! plus Jar Jar Binks was funny (if not a little annoying) and Qui Gon Jin was such a fabulous chracter.
My favourite Star Wars related image – 2 fans dressed up in storm trooper costumes and a santa hat, ringing a bell, doing little dances and entertaining photo requests to help the Salvation Army raise funds at a train station. :) It was an adorable and heartwarming sight.
jar jar binks. by far the coolest.
I have been a massive Star Wars fan since I was 12, the latest addition to my collection of books, paraphenalia etc is a Anakin Skywalker pez dispenser and clone wars coffe mug. Those cookie cutters are to die for, I would also like to nom on a Han Solo, always liked scruffy looking nerf herders.
I hope I will win this, so I can make Star Wars cookie for my son’s birthday end of this month..
Hans Solo hands down, hot then and he still has it…
starwars cookie cutters.. like very much I do.
Years ago my husband and I were in a Sharper Image store that had a life size Storm Trooper on display. For reasons neither one of us will EVER understand, he felt the need to touch the Storm Trooper on the shoulder. The arm fell off!!!! I had visions of a Storm Trooper standing in the corner of my bedroom for the next 10 years thinking they would make us buy it. Lucky for us, a nearby salesperson assured us that the arm had actually been knocked off by an out of control toddler a week earlier so alas, no Storm Troopers at my house! Our 5 year anniversary is on May 28th and if I made him Storm Trooper cookies it would bring back some really funny memories!
My boyfriend loves Star Wars and I desperately need good cookie cutters to make part of his birthday present OR cookies for our one-year-anniversary the day after his birthday. He would love this!
Just love little Yoda. He’s so cute! My 4 year old adores Star Wars…for Christmas he got a SW blanket and light sabers. So these would be AMAZING for our household!!!!!
Oooh, ooh! Pick me :D
LOVE Star Wars. “The Empire Strikes Back” is my favorite and contains some of the best quotes.
“And I thought they smelled bad on the outside!”
Leia: “I love you.”
Han: “I know.”
Back in high school (ok ok…maybe still) I read something like 30 Star Wars books. Which is why I can tell you that Han Solo and Leia had twins and their names are Jacen and Jaina!
Starwars, those were the days! I have a Starwars boardgame from way back when. So nice to have something come back so I actually know what my kids are on about LOL
(PS don’t know if you’d post to Australia but I’m commenting whether I’m eligible or not :) )
I would LOVE to surprise my hubby with Star Wars cookies for Father’s Day! He loves it!
My fiance and I are both Star Wars fiends, so much so that we went to Death Valley for Valentine’s Day weekend and saw some of the locations that were used to for scenes of Tatooine in Episode IV. We played the soundtrack while we were driving through, too. And Star Wars cookies would be awfully cute on a wedding dessert buffet…
My favorite thing about stars wars has just become… these cookie cutters. ;)
What timing! I watched “Fanboys” last night (about teens who break into Skywalker Ranch to steal Ep. I), and now I see this.
The force has been with me always, from growing up around the world, and watching the movies in three different countries. To being given tickets to the Episode I premiere as a wedding gift. And now to having young children who love Star Wars as well. Of course, it was hard the other day when my son had his Lego Anakin and Darth Vader figures engaged in a lightsaber battle, and I didn’t want to spoil Ep. V for him, so I couldn’t explain why such a battle wasn’t possible. So these cookie cutters are going to be a must in our household.
And if I don’t win them, thanks for letting me know about them.
Oh my goodness… be still my Son’s beating heart! We must own these.. may the force be with me to win! :) We need a Star Wars intervention in this house, Lego Star Wars is the obsession for my 5 year old (and Husband!) :)
The first movie I ever remember watching was Star Wars! My family is full of geeks… :-/
Confession: I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars movies.
I love star wars especially R2 D2 because my nephew and I can share something special together like star wars. I don’t get to see him often but he loves star wars so this would be neat if we could do something together. I even bought my nephew a star wars collectiable R2D2 PEZ depenser
I can’t hear someone stir mac and cheese without thinking of Jaba.
For my 8th grade (maybe highschool graduation) my mom was throwing me a surprise party sooooo to to keep me preocupied i was “ambushed” and FORCED to go see the very long movie….i did like Jar Jar Binks tho….i am talking about the right movie. lol….finals just ended and its obvious i need to sleep :)
we have named our new car darthvaderMD, as my husband is a doctor and a darth vader fanatic :D need I say more :)
My favorite Star Wars movie would be The Empire Strikes Back. Star Wars also introduced me to one of my biggest celebrity crushes: Hayden Christensen! *swoons*
My husband would absolutely love these! To bad we missed having them for Star Wars day (May the fourth be with you).
Thanks for not resisting!
who can compete with Chewi :)
I cannot express the love I have for the original Star Wars. One of my most prized possessions is my yoda bobblehead!!!
I do not think I can explain how excited I will be to make some Yoda cookies and bite into some of his ridiculously cute little heads and share them with all my friends, neighbors, coworkers, and random passing cityfolk who look like they need some Yoda in their life!
Awesomeness! Definitely my favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back! :)
too cute!!…..Yoda & the Ewoks are my favorites
i was scared of the creepy guy with spikes in his head until i was 10….he still is scary.
That is amazing! I’d love to win them!
My dad introduced me to Star Wars in third grade, and now it’s our father-daughter thing to do. I still like to watch it with him when I see him, even though I’m 22.
My boyfriend is a huge Star Wars fan. Especially Darth Vader. Now his nephews are into it. They would freak out if I sent them some of these cookies. Awesome!
These are so awesome!!! I love Star Wars! Yoda is one of my favorites.
My little sister(Currently 8 years old) loves Star Wars so much, that I got her a Yoda Plushie for Christmas a couple years back. She loves it.
OMG my son would loooove these! He is turning seven on Sunday and he’s all about Star Wars. Sadly I couldn’t find any cake pans. He would get a kick out of Star Wars cookies! =)
So many good childhood memories of Star Wars! My family used to watch movies on Saturday nights and pretty often we did a three week run of the original three.
My husband is the BIGGEST star wars geek! A classy one, but a geek none the less. I am kind enough to let him have a STAR WARS themed office decked out with figurines, framed pictures of pre-production artwork, and even a STAR WARS fusbol table! He would love these little gems!
My first movie was Star Wars….at a drive in when I was five!
My goodness, these are awesome! I used to watch all three of the original movies every weekend with my sister. The Empire Strikes Back is the best movie, and the tauntauns are my favorite creatures!
My brother in law is a Star Wars fiend…and I can’t wait to have kids and have him teach them everything he knows!!
OMG these are awesome! I love them! My husband and my kids LOVE Star Wars!
Oh gosh, how cute/amazing/everything! Is it weird that there’s a part of me that would like to eat a Yoda head cookie? No? Yes? Oh well.
I liked the star wars movies a lot growing up. I remember being super scared of a lot of the characters. Of course i’m not scared of them anymore…i promise!
OMG! I love them! I absolutely effing love Star Wars. I love these cookie cutters! My favorite movies are Attack of the Clones (Ahhh, when young Anikin was still good) and Return of the Jedi (I wanna snuggle with an Ewok)! My best friend and I use the Jedi mind trick on each other ALL THE TIME!!!
When I was a wee little tot, my dad was a stay-at-home dad while my mom worked. Unbeknownst to my mother, my dad and I would watch Star Wars while she gone during the day. When my little sister was born, I was allowed to name her. Needless to say, my mom was shocked to learn that her 2-year-old little girl chose “Princess Leia” for her baby sister’s name. We still laugh about it all the time, and my sister and I are all grown up now. (Although we settled on Leah for her name, rather than Princess Leia!)
These cookie cutters are basically the most fantastic things ever!
I never realized how many bloopers/mistakes were in the earlier Star Wars episodes. The one off the top of my head was in Star Wars Episode IV. When the stormtroopers break into the control room, the stormtrooper on the right of the screen hits his head on the door frame. Hehe.
Anyway, these cookie cutters would be so great to have for my nephew’s 4th birthday party!
Oh my gosh! For cute!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all 6 movies and am such a huge fan that I have sign pictures, limited edition buttons and pins, all sorts of other Star Wars stuff, a HUGE Yoda picture, M&M characters made into Star Wars people. I could go on and on. I think these are the coolest things and I would LOOOOOOOOOVE to win them!!
Can I only hope to win these?? I love the original 3 movies the best. They were cutting edge when they came out :) My favorite were the ewoks. I even had a stuffed animal when I was a little girl of one.
OMG, these are so CUTE! It’s sad there’s no Chewbacca, though. Chewy Chewy Cookies would have been awesome :) Nevertheless, I would love a set of these. So adorable!
I have a 4 year old and cannot even begin to explain how Star Wars has taken over our lives (despite the fact that he hasn’t actually SEEN the movie!) He thinks that “the star wars” are people who carry “light savers” and cannot possibly comprehend that Darth Vader could be Luke’s father. He would FLIP out over these cookies and I would flip out to see him so happy.
