They Got Me

The other day I was doing a little impromptu shopping. I had already spent more than I wanted and I was about to pass the Williams-Sonoma store. I said to myself. “Walk faster. Faster. Don’t look in. You don’t need anything else. Whatever you do…

…don’t stop…

Don’t look in the …”

photo

Dang. They got me.

I really tried not to go in, but how could I be complete without these Star Wars Cookie Cutters. I knew if I left empty handed, I’d wish I had bought them in the off chance someone I know wants Boba Fett cookies one day. So I went in, telling myself the whole time I would just have a peek. I can resist.

IMG_0100

I can resist so well that I only bought two. One for me and one for you. Okay, one for one of you.

IMG_0033

Now, I like to bake to go along with a giveaway if I can, but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to make and pipe these this weekend and I just couldn’t wait to show you these cutters. Plus, my piping skills might deter you from wanting to try them. Piping royal icing is a skill I need to work on, but the way to go if you’re up for it. They’d still be super cute just like this photo from the back of the box, though.

IMG_0079

The cutters have plungers that make impressions in the sugar cookie dough as you cut shapes.

IMG_0066

You can whip up some Storm Troopers…

IMG_0072

A Dark Lord perhaps.

IMG_0075

Maybe some Boba Fett’s just so you can say the name over and over.

IMG_0073

And you have to make Yoda, of course. Make him you should. And eat him you shall.

But… but wait… where’s Chewbacca and R2-D2? What’s up with that? I want to nibble on a little Wookiee. And maybe a little Harrison Ford.

They need a second edition. Fingers crossed.

IMG_0052

The set comes packaged in a cute box with a recipe for cookies and icing.

Besides the kiddies going gaga for these, I think it would make a great gift for Daddy’s Day. Well, it might make some Daddy’s Day, not all.

  47. OMG! These are so cool!!!!

  48. Random personal Star Wars trivia – I was 26 years old before I saw the Star Wars movies. (I’m 30 now.) Not sure what rock I lived under growing up. :) I took a weekend, had a marathon and watched all 6 in a row, in order of their release…older movies first, newer ones second. Gotta say I’m not a fan of the new ones.

As a sidenote, pretty please share a yummy sugar cookie recipe. The recipe I have is gross. It’s so gross, my husband “sneaked” the leftovers of the cute (but gross) Valentines cut out cookies i made this year to his office and didn’t ‘fess up that he brought them.

  49. Wow, very cool cutters! My husband made an argument for my 2 year old daughter to be Yoda for Halloween last year….he lost, she was Minnie Mouse. but he hasnt given up the dream, this giveaway has resparked his argument for this year’s Halloween….we’ll see……

  50. those are beyond amazing!

  51. I too would have not been able to resist the power of Star Wars cookies cutters. I’m one of the Star Wars generation myself.

My favourite film of the trilogy is actually Return of the Jedi. I’m always told that it’s the cheesiest of the films and that I should be ashamed of my preference.

My husband and I often quote yoda to each other “Do or Do not. There is no try”. It seems to be a theory that’s close to your heart too what with all your fantastic creations.

  55. My only grandson got very sick last year and my daughter was so worried she broke down and let him watch whatever he wanted (he doesn’t watch tv so this was a big deal). He picked the original Star Wars – which he only knew about from some vintage toys. He loves LOVES Star Wars and I would LOVE to make him some cookies with these.

  56. I love Star Wars, every boyfriend I have ever had has been a fan too…and so are my parents, my extended family, my sibling, friends and coworkers…just about everyone I know has some kind of special connection to Star Wars.

  57. Oh my goodness my husband would love these! He has a Tauntaun sleeping bag – http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/bb2e/

  58. My dad dressed as up as Darth Vader for one Halloween when he was kid. And we’re not talking Darth Vader out of a bag. He has a pretty awesome authentic mask (to go with his Storm Trooper helmet he had too) and made his costume by hand! IT LIT UP! He was like, 12 when he made it. When my brother and I were kids (and old enough), we would run around the house as Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper. Classic.

  59. I love Star Wars! I had a Boba Fett T-shirt when I was a kid. I loved that shirt. A friend of mine owns a Storm Trooper outfit and wears it…in public.

  60. Oh my husband and daughter would SOOOO love to have some Star Wars cookies! They are hugs fans (and my daughter is only 4). I tease the two of them all the time because they have ears that turn out slightly on top, I call them Yoda ears.

  63. I love Star Wars! I used to be an absolute fanatic, but I’ve mellowed out a bit in my adulthood lol, I’ve liked Episode IV: A New Hope the best. It’s like discovering a whole new world of possibilities along with Luke. My favorite character has always been Princess Leia, I have long brown hair that I wound up into the classic Leia-do for Halloween one year.

    Fun stuff!

  64. How could I not love Star Wars. I have three young boys and a hubby. My 3yo can hum the theme song.

  65. Apparently, I laugh like Yoda. My husband was nice enough to tell me, and I have confirmed with exes. Also, I have the t-shirt with Admiral Ackbar in finger cuffs – it’s awesome.(shirt.woot.com)

  72. I remember going and seeing revenge of the sith at midnight in costume and wondering why there werent that many Star Wars treats! These are AMAZING!

  73. My 6-year-old is a Star Wars fanatic! For his 5th birthday, he asked for a cake with “a Death Star, and Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker having a light saber duel, and some Tie Fighters.” And I had already told him birthday kids get to have whatever kind of cake they want! So that’s how I learned how to make Tie Fighters out of Whoppers and Oreo Crisps. :)

  77. Oh my goodness my son would LOVE LOVE LOVE these! Has anything and everything Star Wars, but definitely not these, I totally need them ;)

  78. My 3 boys (1 big, 2 kids) all love Star Wars. We have too many star wars toys to count. I’m pretty sure Random should pick me, after all, my nickname around this house is Chewbaqueena. Thank.you.very.much.Tracy.Jordan.

  79. I’ve put together so many Star Wars Lego sets with my little brother over the years, it’s insane.

  80. My hubby would think these are soo cool!

  81. My husband is a huge fan, and has, in turn, created a huge fan in me and my daughters. They would absolutely be thrilled to make cookies in Yoda shapes so they can hear their daddy’s impression of Yoda “Eat them, I will!”

  82. Oh my gosh! I NEED those! Why oh why can’t there be a Williams-Sonoma in my area? I’ll have to check if they’ll deliver to Canada!

I remember when Star Wars (the original which later became Part IV) first came out. I was in the 3rd grade–does that make me old? It was exciting when I was 8, and it’s still one of my favourite movies. I must admit, I hate Parts I, II, and III. Why did they do that to my favourite movie series of all time?

  83. my boyfriend loves star wars, i even bought him a star wars tie for his birthday. i personally have only seen the first movie (which is the 4th???) so i don’t really know anything about it but he would go crazy over these adorable cookie cutters!

  84. Have them I must. Gratitude I have, that share them you did.

  85. In high school, my boyfriend had that long braid thing like young vader. I still make fun of him for it.

  86. Star Wars was the first movie I saw that started with the big 20th Century Fox fanfare at the beginning. To this day when I here that fanfare I expect Star Wars to start showing…I’m disappointed 99% of the time….

  87. I work at a preschool and the kids are constantly playing star wars I would be THE BEST teacher if I brought these in!:) It amazes me how things like star wars are classic and each generation gets into it!

  88. My nephews would flip over these! My brother taught them the Star Wars love from birth. I still have fond memories of my Princess Lea Underoos.

  89. We call our little baby Yoda. For better or worse, it’s a nickname I think might stick. I can imagine throwing him a Yoda First Bday party. Plan it, I will.

  90. i’ve got 2 crates full of star wars books stashed in my garage

  91. Too bad these weren’t around when my son had a star wars birthday party! Maybe we’ll have to have another!

  92. Oh. Wow. Star Wars cookies. *geeky shiver* Wonder if I could use the Force to summon a set of cookie cutters like that? They’d go well with the Princess Leia cinnabuns.

  93. I love the plungers! Wish more cookie cutters came with those.

  94. I am admitting here that ive never seen but 30 mins of the very first star wars movie…i was a kid back then. these cutters ay just inspire me to watch the movies!

  96. OH MY GOSH! Win or do not win, I must have these! My son is the biggest Star Wars fan ever – we even named our dog Princess Leia for him!

  97. I watched star wars many times over as a child. I would have to say I’m a Luke fan!

  98. When I was younger I really, really wanted a pet Ewok.

  99. Oh my … must run to Williams Sonoma. My husband would have a fit.

  100. Those would be perfect even for fondant decals also, I really love the Yoda cutter

  101. I think these cookie cutters are the only way I could ever convince my boyfriend to bake for me. And then I’d never be able to get him to stop.

  102. I have only seen the three original Star Wars movies. I know. Shame on me. Great cookie cutters! Thanks for the giveaway!

  103. Ah Star Wars, but only the first three , that’s 4, 5 and 6 I ahve a Star Wars Cook Book which my friend gave me for my birthday and I cook things for her from it, like Han Burgers!!!!I would love to buy her these but I am not sure the company would send them to Australia?? Do you think they would??? Winning would be a better option!!!

  104. I love Ewoks! They are so cute and fuzzy… although my all time favorite is Chewbaka (sp) because my dog sounds just like him when he lets us know he’s hungry… its hilarious.

  105. Oh, this one is for ME!

My first born son’s name is Anakin (as in Skywalker – Darth Vader before he’s bad). I also have 2 other boys…and they would LOVE some Star Wars cookies!!! :)

  106. I am not a star wars fan but know plenty of people that are and would flip over cookies made with these!!!

  107. Since my husband is a star wars fanatic (and is turning our daughters into knowledgeable jedi’s) – these will be perfect at our house (and make my marriage much happier than the storm trooper outfit he really wants)! Thanks for the chance and the discovery!

  108. The first time I saw Star Wars in 1977, I was 7 years old and fell asleep in my seat in the theater. I don’t think I saw it again for at least a decade. My 14 year old son has probably already seen all of them a dozen times now. :)

  109. Love to have stars wars cookie cutters I would!

    (yoda talk)

  112. I’m a sucker for Vader. And Chewie. And the little Ewoks are so cute!

Yeah, I like Star Wars. A lot.

  113. My 10 year old son is a Star Wars fanantic. He has buckets full of mini figures, ships galore and Star Wars Lego’s all over the playroom. Boy, he would LOVE Star Wars cookies!

  114. One of my best guy friends has every star wars collectors item available. Each one is nicely packaged and not allowed to play with. We also have a common love for cooking (and williams sonomas) these cookies will be the perfect next iron chef competition.

  115. I’m not a huge Star Wars fan…but I love Spaceballs :) But my nephew loves Star Wars and he would love this.

  116. i want to make wookie cookies!!! my favorite was chewy!!!
my hubby and i grew up with the original movies and my kids the newer ones. it’s nice to be able to pick these movies as something we all enjoy!
star wars was the very first movie we ever got as kids. we had a “disk” player. the (record) album sized pkg that contained the movie. you had to flip the movie over 1/2 way through! lol

  117. I would love to have these to make cookies with my grand sons! If I’m not lucky enough to win them, I’ll definitely buy a set from W-S! That’s a lot of detail to pipe and flood, but the boys would be just as happy to sprinke colored sugar on them. And my sugar cookie recipe is the BEST EVER! Worthy of such cute cutters! Babs

  118. I love star wars! The little yodas are so cute. My favorite characters are definitely the ewoks though. I vote they come out with a star wars creature set as well and have wookies and ewoks and tauntauns and all the other wonderful characters! :D

  119. I’m a university student; four of my five roommates are guys. I love them to bits; they are a bit like my children, even though we’re all 20. They’re all taller than me, but they’re still like my children. Avid gamers all and they LOVE. STAR WARS. We have every single DVD and criticising the original trilogy in any way is tantamount to a declaration of war. I’m allowed to mock the prequels at least, because they are freaking terrible.

I think they would love it if I baked them Star Wars cookies but to be honest they’d probably inhale them all in 2 minutes, even if they do have Darth Vader’s face on them!

  120. May the Force (and the random number generator) be with me!
I sent you snapshots of the Darth and Storm Trooper cake-pops I made as well as the red (bad guys) and blue (good guys) candy light sabers sprinkled with luster dust that made ’em glooooow. The treats were a huge hit for my friend’s grandson’s 5th b-day party. He loves you Bakerella!

  121. I adore Star Wars – and I must confess, I like the new trilogy just as much as the old one. A guilty pleasure. But I adore the EU novels as well.

  122. My girls LOVE to go around saying “Luke, I am your father”. LOL!

  123. Oh WOW.. these are too cute… not much of a star wars fan myself… but my soon to be 7 year old just informed me that he wants his birthday party to be a Star Wars party!!! What a wonderful addition these cookies would be!!!!!
LOVE the site!! Started making cake pops a few months ago after checking out your site and EVERYONE LOVES them!!! Thanks for all the great ideas!!!

  124. I remember my sister took her son (he was 4 y.o.) waited in line for over four hours…and he behaved LOL….til this day he AND my sister are big Star Wars fans. She loves everything Yoda. Oh yeah, I was the driver…there was NO parking!

  125. My favorite movie was the Empire Strikes Back! I remember when I was a little girl, I had a R2-D2 stuffed animal with shiny silvery patches on him and he had a squeaker inside of his body. I loved him! And my best friend down the way, a boy, had a huge Darth Vader head that would hold all the action figures he had and I was SO JEALOUS of that darned head, lol. I had several X-wing fighters, though, so he was jealous of that :P I would so make a bunch of Yoda cookies for my mother. I remember that she just loved him and even had him as her computer wallpaper at one point :)

  126. My husband and my kids would be so impressed if I made them some star wars cookies! They are HUGE star wars fans and my husband has several light sabers and a collection of toys :). He and my sons’ favorite pass time is playing in the “toy room” with the light sabers!

  127. My husband would give in to the Dark Side for these cookie cutters! I’m buying them if I don’t win. Awesome!

  128. Those are great. My brother would love them. I remember him playing with the Ewok Tree House, and loving on his Ewok Doll named Wicket.

  129. I was gonna go to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters this weekend, but I would so rather bake these cookies!

  130. It’s my son’ s 8th birthday today, and he would flip for these.

    I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

  131. Those cookie cutters are awesome! I would love a set, so I could make cookies for my brother-in-law. His family has all the movies and usually watches at least one a day. His kids love them! They would all love the cookies.

And my brother looked like Yoda when he was born!

  132. These are too cute!! Thanks for sharing!! I loved all the original movies that came out when I was a child! My children would love these! Thanks for sharing!

  133. My son would love to have these at his next birthday party, which he has decided will be Star Wars! So would my husband. And, actually, so would my daughter’s teacher. She and her husband dress up in full character regalia to do charity events and visit children in hospitals.

  134. When I think of Star Wars, I think of George Lucas, and then I remember he graduated from the same high school as my oldest son. Downey High in Modesto CA. Weird, huh? And the movies were great too. :-)

  135. I saw these earlier today and got so excited! My Star Wars share is that I didn’t see any Star Wars films until I was in my late 20s and my now-husband made me! I don’t know why I resisted all these years because THEY WERE AWESOME!!! Now I’m obsessed.

  136. Oh my goodness!!! I love these and my nephew is a huge star wars fan :)

  137. Wow! I love those! They are SO cute!
Although I am sad about no R2D2….
Are you going to show some finished products?

  138. i love these movies but watching them with my hibs while he recites every line can get a little crazy! he has so many star wars legos and for most our married life they were displayed in our house until the little ones came :) dh and i waited in line to see epi. 3 together at midnight and i fell asleep halfway through because i had been up for 20 hours and was exhausted. his friends still tease me!!!

  139. There’s a special 10 year-old in my life who’s obsessed with Star Wars and a budding chef! These would be great to play with! Thanks!

  140. these are so cute! My husband would love it if I made some Star Wars cookies….he once tried to get me to watch the entire (original) trilogy with him, but I fell asleep during the second movie.

  141. Oh, I so hope I win these. My son NEEDS them. I need them for him. He said his favorite is Yoda. I say it is all the movies, anytime, and that includes the cartoon Clone Wars. He is almost 15 and still loves loves loves them. You know if I don’t win them, I will of course go buy them!.

  142. SO cool! My Hubby would love these! He has two big tubs in the attic FULL of Star Wars toys and collectibles. He would totally love some festive cookies!

  143. Oooo!! That’s the cutest thin I’ve ever seen! The cute wookies are definetly my favorite part of Star Wars. The’re cute but smart!

  144. My husband has a small collection of Star Wars stuff but not much. When my son gets old enough, he will recieve them.

  145. My friend was padme for Halloween! She’s getting me more “interested” in Star wars! She would live these!

  146. My uncle is obsessed with Star Wars and saw Empire Strikes Back about 60 times when it first came out in theaters. It would be SO fun to make some cookies for him!

  147. My fiance will love these! R2 is my favorite, but Vader is his favorite. We have an office that’s painted red, with floating shelves full of Darth Vader collectibles, and all the original movie posters on the wall. Tucked in the corner is our 1978 original ceramic R2 ice chest. He’s mine :)

  148. NEEDS THESE!!! Definitely needs an ewok in the 2nd edition :)

  149. Being a huge nerd I grew up breathing Star Wars.. I had all of these talking figurines that I just thought were oh so amazing when I was younger. Now I’m surrounded by people like me who love Star Wars and would probably keel over if I showed up with these cookies.

  150. I’m obsessed with all things Star Wars. Grew up on those movies and still love to watch them to this day. I definitely need me some of those cookie cutters! Love!

  151. Omg! I need these. my side o beef and kidlets love star wars! They watch it all the time together. These are amazing and glorious! :)

  152. all the old star wars movies !
princess leah was my favorite, dont know how many times i dressed up like her for halloween :)
my son has 3 figures and he is 3 years old, daddy wishes he had some still, he was a huge fan !!

  153. I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies, though many of my friends have. I even had a therapist who recommended I see the Star Wars movies. He didn’t put it on a prescription pad, though.

  154. I didn’t realize the level of die-hard fan my husband was until I heard him reciting Star Wars to my older girls, his Leia voice is hilarious. Fast forward a few years and we have a little girl of our own together and I’m thinking he somehow passed the SW gene along to her.

For Christmas we’d bought a Wii system and I picked a SW lego game for him to play except our youngest daughter 6 at the time, liked to play. She got extremely good, leaping from couch to couch & wielding her remote like a light saber. Proved her jedi skills she did.

One day I was watching her play & noticed that between the levels they had bits of the movie, lego style. I said, “Oh cute, it’s like the movies.” Emily looked at me with this astonished look and practically yelled, “You mean there’s MOVIES??” Thus the journey to die-hard fan began. She’s got light sabers, movies, all those McD toys (we had to go to about 15 different restaurants in 3 states to complete that collection), posters and tees. At this point, I do believe she’s a bigger fan than John and has decided we’re having her birthday & my birthday party together & SW themed. Apparently I’m going to get to be Darth…sweet huh? LOL!

  155. These are adorable. My 5 year old son would freak out! He has every Star Wars figure and collecting the lego figures. We just had a Star Wars birthday party with Darth V, Cody, and Obi. These cookie cutters would make his day!!!!! Love it. Personally, I always favored Hans Solo :)

  156. Never understood the Star Wars hype. Now, I have a boy. We are all about Star Wars. I have never looked so hard for the different figures and ships! What fun!

  157. When I was a kid my favourite sleeping bag was Star Wars! I loved the original trilogy as a kid – our whole neighbourhood was obsessed with it. I would love to make these cookies and pass on the tradition to my kids!

  158. Oh My Gravy…the male people in this house would freak out!!! I am thinking a trip to WS is in my future….

  159. You have to love Yoda! He’s so smart (and cute).

Love your blog. It has changed the way I look at all things sweet. :-)

  160. I was Princess Leia for halloween as a kid!

  161. Those are the coolest cookie cutters! My husband, friends and brothers would absolutely LOVE cookies made with these! How fun! I grew up surrounded by star wars lovers, how could i NOT be excited?!

  162. My husband is a movie collector. Movies themselves and anything about movies. He’s saved the Yoda fill up head/slurpee cups from 7-11 from back in 2005. A few weeks ago I went to a consignment shop and they had these weird Star Wars cup toppers, 4 of them for 1.25 each. I bought them and just added them to his collection and later that night he saw them and said “who’s are these?” I acted like I didn’t know what he was talking about, but he noticed something new right away! It probably sounds dumb, but something cute to me, fun way to make memories!

  163. You always find the most awesome stuff! Would LOVE these!

  164. These are great. What about using them on fondant and topping cupcakes with them?!

  165. In college I had a life size cardboard cut out of Hans Solo… until some guys came to “borrow our phone” and ran out the door with him- never to be seen again.

    LOVE the cookie cutters!

  166. These are just CUTE! I like Starwars because of THESE! haha but I think my boyfriend would enjoy eating Yoda and Darth Vader..

  167. I have an 9 year old daughter who loves Star Wars and Polly Pockets. You have never lived until you see Han Solo flying Polly in the Millenium Falcon. (It happens at our house on a daily basis) She would love these! (I would love them more but don’t tell anyone ;) )

  168. I think my favorite Star Wars moment was during Star Wars weekend at Disney World last year. A couple of Sand People hid behind my husband, Storm Troopers figured it out and accosted him for harboring them. :p

I’ve lost count of how many Star Wars stuff we have around the house. Between my kids and my husband, it’s a lost cause to count.

  169. I am not a fan of Star Wars (running and ducking), but my sister in law is a huge fan and would LOVE this set.

  170. Aw, the hubby is a huge fan of Star Wars. Me? Not so much, unfortunately.

  171. Okay, I’ll be honest. I’m not a Star Wars fan, but my nephew is…like crazy Star Wars fan. He is 8 and the only thing he has wanted for birthday or Christmas for the past several years has been Star Wars…
I can honestly say I would be the single coolest Auntie out there if I was to make him cookies in the shape of Star Wars…so, random generator thing, PLEASE pick me…lol.

  172. Love, love Star Wars, though not as much as I do Star Trek (do they have Star Trek cookie cutters?). Star Wars vs Star Trek is a constant debate topic between my brother and I. He knows the dialogue of all six movies by heart.

  173. I wasn’t into Star Wars for the longest time, but I knew all the characters names. I finally watched the original trilogy recently, and I totally loved it. I gotta say, I think Luke Skywalker is my favorite, mostly because Mark Hamill was really cute back then.

  174. My Han Solo figure has traveled all over the world as my good luck charm. These cookie cutters may not have Han but they are still AWESOME!

  175. I love star wars. My favorite character is Han Solo

  176. My son is OBSESSED with Star Wars. Seriously. He would die if I won these and made him cookies! As for me, I’ve never seen any of the movies. His ultimate goal is to convince me to watch them with him. ;)

  177. I love all the original Star Wars movies. My boys love the new ones. They are Star Wars freaks! They both have birthdays coming up. These would be perfect for parties!

  178. I totally remember playing Star Wars with my stuffed animals & such as a kid. I also remember my Dad asking what movie I wanted to watch & eagerly asking to see Star Wars!

  179. My 4 year old son says while watching Indiana Jones for the first time, “I didn’t know Hans Solo is in this movie!”. ‘Nuff said!

  180. Oh my gosh! I love Chewbacca. I saw Star Wars as a kid in my famiy’s station wagon at the drive in. I loved Chewbacca so much I got brown tie dyed shirt with him on the front! :)

  181. I saw these on their website yesterday (along with the pancake molds) and just knew I would end up getting them at some point. I haven’t yet gone over to the darkside and done so, but the pull is so strong I may not last very much longer. It’s all about Empire for me. Yoda is my fave. All through college a poster of him hung on our living room wall and now I have the lego set built on my mantel (he’s about 18″ tall) :P

  182. The Empire Strikes Back is one rad movie, and these are super rad cookie cutters.

  183. the girl’s favorite movie is starwars! she refuses to watch episodes 2 and 3 though but somehow she managed to get through episode 1. i still cringe everytime i see jarjar binks.

  184. Besides the Rocky movies, one of the few movies (or movie franchises) that I could truly enjoy with my step-dad. I remember watching them all when I was a kid and him being excited to watch them with me. :-) If I won the cutters, he would be excited (as well as a large majority of my star wars lover friends…including my best friend Robyn) to have Star Wars cookies!

  185. I have some little cousins who would think I was the coolest person in the world if I made these for them….

  186. Hmmm…favorite SW moment…I still go for the beginning of Episode 4. I remember seeing the movie when it first came out and the excitement of how new it all looked.

  187. I love these! I would totally make these for my brother who has been absolutely obsessed with Star Wars his whole life. He even named his dog Jango!

  188. These are crazy cute. Favorite thing Star Wars? Han Solo. Least favorite? Padmé Amidala.

  189. My kids are obsessed. My older son wanted an R2D2 cake for his 6th birthday. So, of course I made him an R2D2 cake for his 6th birthday. Turned out quite well if I do say so myself. :o)

  190. R2-D2, I like. I’ve thought of cake, cupcakes, rice krispies, but cookies? wow, pick me!

  191. I love Yoda! Especially in the form of a cute little child’s backpack!

  192. My dog’s name is Jabba the Hutt, I have a yoda backpack, I’m going to the Last Flight to Endor party at DisneyWorld. Star Wars is basically my favorite thing ever.

  193. Our whole family LOVES Star Wars! Win these cookie cutters I shall! My 4 year old asked me to buy the SW cookbook so I can make him Tie Fighter hotdogs and Wookie cookies all the time!

  194. Oh my gosh! Those cookie cutters are so cool! What do the cookies look like after they’re cooked though, without the frosting?

Anyway, I remember the first time I watched Episodes IV-VI I new Leia and Luke were brother and sister, so it was a LITTLE awkward when when Luke was crushing on her when they first meet and when Leya planted a kiss on his lips in Empire Strikes Back.

  195. My husband looooves star wars! His favorite star wars character is darth vader. He quotes him a lot!

  196. Oh my goodness. My boys would go nuts over these. They are obsessed with anything Star Wars. We have made a rule at our table that while we are eating dinner there is to be NO talk of Star Wars…haha!!!

  197. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite. They re released SW while I was in high school and I would stand in line hours before the theater opened to be the first for tickets.

My sister love to tell me I looked like Yoda as a baby. I look fine now, but talk funny I do. ;D

  198. OMG this would be great for my dad. He has i’m almost certain every figurine ever made, plus a life size storm trooper, chewbacca and a Darth Vader…first impression is that it’s really awesome but living with those things, you realize it’s actually pretty creepy. anyway i’m sure he’d love it if i made these for him on ol’ fathers day!!!!

  199. These are fantastic! My son is crazy about Star Wars so I know so much more about it than I ever wanted to!
