The other day I was doing a little impromptu shopping. I had already spent more than I wanted and I was about to pass the Williams-Sonoma store. I said to myself. “Walk faster. Faster. Don’t look in. You don’t need anything else. Whatever you do…
…don’t stop…
Don’t look in the …”
Dang. They got me.
I really tried not to go in, but how could I be complete without these Star Wars Cookie Cutters. I knew if I left empty handed, I’d wish I had bought them in the off chance someone I know wants Boba Fett cookies one day. So I went in, telling myself the whole time I would just have a peek. I can resist.
I can resist so well that I only bought two. One for me and one for you. Okay, one for one of you.
Now, I like to bake to go along with a giveaway if I can, but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to make and pipe these this weekend and I just couldn’t wait to show you these cutters. Plus, my piping skills might deter you from wanting to try them. Piping royal icing is a skill I need to work on, but the way to go if you’re up for it. They’d still be super cute just like this photo from the back of the box, though.
The cutters have plungers that make impressions in the sugar cookie dough as you cut shapes.
You can whip up some Storm Troopers…
A Dark Lord perhaps.
Maybe some Boba Fett’s just so you can say the name over and over.
And you have to make Yoda, of course. Make him you should. And eat him you shall.
But… but wait… where’s Chewbacca and R2-D2? What’s up with that? I want to nibble on a little Wookiee. And maybe a little Harrison Ford.
They need a second edition. Fingers crossed.
The set comes packaged in a cute box with a recipe for cookies and icing.
Besides the kiddies going gaga for these, I think it would make a great gift for Daddy’s Day. Well, it might make some Daddy’s Day, not all.
Find them at Williams-Sonoma or…

shannonwilli – congrats and tell your husband to brush off his yoda costume. Fun times ahead.
My husband was a huge star wars fan as a child and as passed that same love onto our boys. The boys have their own star wars toys but they really think it is special when dad pulls out his star wars toys and they all play together. They would all freak out if I made these cookies! Staciele(at)netins(dot)net
My husband (almost 40) has been a Star Wars fan since childhood – and has passed the love on to our 9 year old son. Anytime we sit down to watch a movie together, someone always suggests one of the Star Wars movies.
I love star wars!!! I have great memories with my dad. He and I would always watch all of the star wars together! Love it!! I would love to make some of these cookies for my dad! :)
“not boy cookies” my daughter said. I think maybe there should be a princess Leah cookie for the girls.
I love the movies. Yoda is my favorite character. I know plenty of Star Wars geeks and I know they would just LOVE to have these cookies!
Jar Jar binx! Everyone else thought he was so dumb, but i loved him!
and these cookie cutters are absolutely to die for!
where’s the princess…..? aw, they so have to have princess laia, ( i didnt spell that right huh?)
omg, star wars, my husband and daughter love star wars.and its funny that i you have these, becasue just earlier she was playing with her fathers old r2d2 toy.
both my sons have LOTS of star wars fi gures
Star Wars is the first and only show that I have stood in line (eating pb&j) for at the theater. Oh the good old days. Anyway I love all the shows. I even dressed up like Princess Leia for Halloween. My oldest called C-3PO – 3PCO and Boba Fett was called Bobsled. Such great memories. It would be awesome to win the cookie cutters. Too darn cute – although I would agree I would like to see a second addition with Chewie and Hans.
Super cute! I love Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back but am meh on Return of the Jedi and all the prequels. My sons gladly help me eat any cookies I make but I’m sure they’d really love helping me not only eat but make these Star Wars shaped ones!
These are awesome cookie cutters! When I was little, I used to have the Ewok Treehouse toy – it was the best thing ever. My older brother was very sweet and would play with me – his old G.I. Joe men would come try to attack the Ewoks. But Ewoks are crafty and were (as I remember it, anyway) undefeated. Thanks for the giveaway chance!
My fav character is Hans Solo
“Princess Leia: I love you. ”
‘Han Solo: I know. ‘
My lil bro’s would be thrilled if i won this!
haha they are waay cute! My favorite character is Mace Windu personally and was devastated when he died in episode three.!
My son in law LOVES Star Wars…I’d love to bake him up a batch of these babies!
I own the DVDs but sadly no figurines. I would love to start with some cookie cutters first. : )
My husband is a major Star Wars fan and so is my 6 year old son. My son has about 10 Star Wars vehicles and a shoe box full of charatures (that my husband puchased prior to my son’s 2nd birthday, we all know how all 2 year old boys need an excessive amount of complex toys, right?). My son absolutely loves these cookie cutters!!!!
I’ve never even seen Star Wars but my husband LOVES it so I can make some cookies and watch it for the first time with him!! :)
OMG! My husband might just love me forever… I can see it now Pistachio chip Yodas and DARK choc chip Vaders YUM!!
Oh…how adorable! My son is pretty into Star Wars…he is going to be Darth Vader for Halloween (I bought the costume on clearance last yr) & his fav ride at Disneyland is Star Tours. Plus, we have tons of Star Wars toys that I’m always stepping on & I haven’t thrown them away yet, so I must be a fan too :)
OH MY! look at all these comments! I have three boys and a girl. My oldest two are obsessed with Star Wars. Mostly LEGO Star Wars on the Wii..BUT they love to watch any of the movies as well. My 4 year old LOVES Luke Skywalker and wears black when he pretends to be him. And my 5 year old loves Han Solo and Luke, however he told me Darthmal is his favorite when I asked him just now.
We would LOVE to win some cookie cutters, but I may also have to buy them if we don’t win. I bet they sell tons of these thanks to your schpeel about them! THANKS!!
My son is playing the theme song for his school talent show next week and dressing up in the Jedi costume I made for Halloween a couple years ago!
My son is a huge Star Wars fan and we’re having a Star Wars birthday party for him and these cookies would be awesome!!!!!
Sometimes I wish I could wear my hair like Princess Leia does…
The two buns on the side always reminded me of cinnamon buns…
May the force be with you!
I’ve loved the original trilogy ever since i saw it as a kid, but i liked the new ones too! controversial? maybe. too bad. i think they’re great movies and i love han and chewie!
My family all loves Star Wars AND we all love cookies! A perfect combo! :)
We are huge fans of star wars including my 4 yr old.
This would be a great addition to my collection of cookie cutters.
My brother has fallen in love with your cake pop creations and has challenged me to make Yoda cake pops. Provided I can create the ears, game on! Loving these little cookie cutters!
I’m dying here. I really need to get these cookie cutters. I have religiously watched the original trilogy at least once a year since I was 10. My friends are all HUGE Star Wars® fans. One friend does a dead on Wookie impression, and another does a great Yoda impression. I love Yoda best of all, of course, for his fabulous muppet-ness and the fact that he can be super smart and still talk backwards!
Man, if I won these and made some awesome cookies for my husband with them, he would be mightily impressed. Fingers crossed!
My husband is a Star Wars geek-these are great! We even have our home office decorated in Star Wars tributes. These would make a great addition!
Oh wow…. I love those!!! I love Star Wars!! that’s just too cool
My husband LOVES Boba Fett! I actually made him a Jodo Kast (same sort of character just different color Mandalorian armor) for his 20th birthday 6 years ago. He would LOVE me to make cookies with these cutters. He may propose to me all over again! ;)
ooooooooooooo! i can remember that the first films i saw at the cinema were a double bill of Star Wars & Return of the Jedi..waaaay back when i was 4 (now a mid 30’s gal!)
recently i managed to get my 32 year old boyfriend his best yet xmas pressie; a Yoda backpack!
have pity on me; i live in the uk & Williams-Sonoma doesn’t do overseas orders!!!

When I first met my now fiance, he was very nervous about taking me to his apartment. At first, I was concerned. Did he not want me to meet his roommates? Was he hiding another girl in the apartment? Did he have some weird fear of doing laundry and it was overflowing his room? Wrong on all counts. Turns out, he’s a Star Wars FIEND and had a 1:6 scale Jabba the Hutt on his mantelpiece. We’ve since moved in together and Jabba is in a place of honor (along with Boba Fett, Luke, Yoda, Crumb, Darth Vader and Alec Guinness as Obi Wan! I’d love to make these for him! (And my inner Star Wars Nerd! He’ll never know that I actually CAN tell the difference in Vader’s helmet in all 3 of the original movies!)
My mom had a blue VW Beetle in the 80s that she called R2D2! I’d love to win these for her :)
Yoda
Thanks!
I have an impossible brother-in-law to buy for this Christmas! He is so into Star Wars and this is perfect! Win them I must!
I’ve fallen asleep during every Star Wars movie I’ve ever tried to watch. Doesn’t mean I’m not super excited about these cookie cutters though! :)
My husband is a huge Star Wars fan and has been since I first met him, this year we will celebrate our 30 year anniversary in July . I would love to surprise him with some cookies.Maybe I will wear his Darth Vader mask, we’ve had that for 30 years also!
Ooohhh I just came across these the other day. My boys would love these.
Is it so wrong that I never really got into star wars as a kid but when the prequels came out I got caught up in the hype?
Jar Jar Binks was definitely my favourite, what a dude!
Oh man… who can resist Williams-Sonoma??!! I have to say that I like Episode IV, mainly because we see the beginnings of Darth Vader, and realize he was not born a monster. Cute little kid!
My favourite movie is The Empire strikes back and my favourite character is Han Solo.
I first saw the 1st Star Wars as a kid with my little brother. It was the first time we were ever allowed to go to the movies alone. A small theatre in West Haven, Ct called the Forest. (I believe some indy people are making a film about it.) My mama made rainbow popcorn (on the stove–before microwaves were out) and we had that and some goodies stashed to take into the movie to save money!
My fav is Chewbacca!!!! My dog looks like a miniature version!!
I always loved Princess Leia! She was tough :)
Awesomeness! True awesomeness! I love them greatly! If it isn’t too much, would you send them my way?
I told my father in law once that i had never seen Star Wars.. he looked at me with his eyes wide open, dissapeared, and returned with the set of the movies… I watched them all.. and was hooked. Hooked I was.
I think as I’m getting older I find myself getting into the canon of Star Wars and the future events post the movie. As it is, Leia was my favorite character!
Empire Strikes Back was one of the first movies I saw at the theatre – Han Solo – swoon!
OMG, I love these! I have sooo many favorites. I grew up pretending to be Princess Leia. I LOVE Yoda and R2D2 too. But the Ewoks stole my heart. I just got a shihpoo puppy and I had to have her cuz she looks just like one!
The Star Wars fan is actually my Husband, he loves all the movies and even still plays the star war games on playstation. He would love a sweet Star Wars treat!!
In my best Yoda voice: Cookies, I like cookies, yes I do. Yes, hmmm.
My cousin and boyfriend are obsessed with star wars! My cousin even quizzes his ten year old daughter on who the characters are and what the color their light saber is! crazy i know! :) As soon as I saw these cookie cutters, I thought of them!
Ok, so I am not a huge star wars fan.. but i do remember playing star wars as a kid with the neighbor boy.. i was always princess lea and he was hans solo until we realized that in the end, they hooked up… :)
And with you!
These are awesome! My 3 1/2 year old is so into Star Wars right now. He just got a storm trooper costume and hasn’t taken it off for three days! My just need to stop by WS to check them out!
I love the Harrison Ford ones the best. I kind of like the first new one, barely got through the 2nd new one, and didn’t watch the 3rd. But I could watch all three “old” ones every day. And not just because Harrison Ford is hot.
Growing up, my brother was the one who always got the star wars toys. For some reason, just because I was a girl, I never got the as gifts like he did. Luckily, he didn’t have any brothers to play with him, so I got to play along, too. :) Yay!
I love me some Hans Solo. :)
Star Wars was one of my favorite movies as a child! And I know several boys, young and old, who would loooove these cookies! I really hope I win!
I’m a Star Wars geek myself and when I was younger had the Princess Leia disguised as a bounty hunter figurine. I’d love these cookie cutters!!
I made a star wars wedding cake for my sister in law and put to sibbelings on top. That’s how much I know :-)
Please let me make it up to them…..
I loved R2-D2 and 3CPO as a kid. I don’t think I really knew there were real people inside of them!! :D
Lord help me…I LOVE the Ewoks. I know the hardcore Star Wars fans hate them…but I think they’re super cute!
I enjoy Star Wars, but I like the old movies far better than the more recent ones. Hmmm, our favorite would probably be R2D2. I like the Yoda cookie cutter best. Thanks!
As a child of the 70’s, I remember my dad taking me to all the Star Wars movies as soon as they came out…of course he didn’t have a boy, so my R2D2 figure, played right along with Barbie and her Dream House!
my son would LOVE these! i’m pregnant with our second child and of course he has the baby’s name picked out… ahsoka tano if it is a girl and obi wan kenobi if it is a boy!
I could have cared less about Star Wars before I was married. My husband made me watch them and I thought it would have to be one of the things I would have to endure as a wife {like LOTR….} but now I love them!! I love Yoda and Jar-Jar {no clue how to spell it} I know he’s annoying and not even remotely on the same level as Yoda but he cracks me up every time I see him.
My husband would LOVE these and my 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son. He has brain washed them to love star wars. My son’s 1st birthday was star wars with characters, 3D R2D2 cake and all. I sure needed these, but there will sure be another star wars birthday. Hope I win!!
I loved the original Star Wars… fun fact? I would probably give away the most recent three movies if I received ’em, but I could watch #1-3 anytime. I suppose that isn’t that odd though! But I agree with you, there definitely needs to be a fun second edition of these cutters! :)
EWOKS! My family has a Llasa Apso and she looks JUST like an Ewok. So cute!
My favorite thing would have to be watching it with the boy, it’s his favorite! And he’d love me even more if I made him cookies with these cutters!
I love STAR WARS. I love to bake and cook new things all the ti me for my family. This would be a great addition to my kitchen. :)
so want these. Love them
My best friend loves Star Wars! It would be so fun to surprise her with these cookies! I like Star Wars, too, but I prefer the nice characters like Yoda. My friend likes the bad guys.
My favorite is Chewbacca! Would make a great cookie too! Maybe use some chocolate-coconut mix for the fur and a
cute little black nose.
Wow, how about some Star Wars cake pops Bakerella?
I know they would be darling and delicious!
I still have my Yoda hand puppet from when I was a kid!
My family is pretty nerdy… we named our miniature poodle Jean-Luc Skywalker. Jean-Luc after captian Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek, and Luc (Luke) Skywalker after Star Wars.
love love love Harrison Ford in Star Wars!
I have the original triology on VHS. Now, where is my VCR at again? I had some figurines… but I gave them to a guy friend of mine. I’m in my 30s. I thought it was time to share the wealth of Star Wars stuff.
If I hear my child ask me to play another lego star wars one more time i’m going to scream. Or if he’s star wars shirt is clean. He is only 5 but he would sit with dad all day and watch every star wars movie. I’m sick. Though I will be buying these cause it does make them happy though I just want to scream No More Star Wars. Go play outside it’s so nice!!!!!
Not much of a Star Wars fan but my white boxer dog does a very good Chewbacca sound when she plays with her dog toys. It’s the funniest thing, everyone who comes to our house and hears her says that’s Chewbacca. Thanks Bakerella.
I remember dressing up as princess leia for Halloween when I was a kid. Good Times!
My favorite of the Stars Wars movies is Return of the Jedi. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
My 3 year old loves to play Star Wars (even though he’s never see it) meaning we fight with swords that turn into guns. It’s amazing what his imagination can accomplish. He’d love these.
My husband and I both love Star Wars, and he would get a kick out of these for Father’s day!
PS Bakerella, you rock.
My favorite Star Wars memory is watching Return of the Jedi on VHS with my dad. At that point, I was too young to really understand the story, but I loved the Ewoks!
Wow. Please, please, PLEASE pick my number. I know I’m uselessly begging because you use a random number generator, but these are awesome. :) Perfect for all the Star Wars fans that I know and love.
omg.. those are awesome!! i still remember going to the original movie at the theatre and “meeting” Darth Vader… gotta love Star Wars :)
Two years ago, when I was a senior in high school, one of my best friends was teaching me how to make a wookie noise. We were practicing in the hallway, and I was getting some weird looks from underclassmen.
I found out a few weeks ago that that moment was the first time my fiance knew he loved me. he said my awful wookie impression and the fact that i couldnt have cared less what people thought. Thank you Star Wars.
LOVE the original movies. CanNOT stand the newer ones. Yoda ROCKS!
Sweet! It doesn’t get much awesomer than that.
I remember when I was growing up and watching these movies, I thought that Leia was the most beautiful person in the world, and in my little girl heart I wished I could grow up to look just like her. I thought her “cinnamon bun” hairdo was SO pretty at the time. Hah! My husband and I recently celebrated our 4th anniversary, and we ended the evening watching “The Empire Strikes Back.” :)
Oh my son….my 6 year old son is obsessed. These would make him so happy and the best Mom ever! Pick me!
The likelihood of me winning this is incredibly slim, but I still must try.
I think my husband is the biggest Star Wars nerd (scuse me, fan) out there. He already has a couple big plastic tubs of Star Wars stuff in the attic from when he was younger..waiting for our son to be old enough to appreciate it. And the big framed thing in our office? Yep, an original movie poster for the first Star Wars movie of the whole saga!!
I love all things Star Wars…I’ve always identified more with the dark side characters and so my favorite character is Darth Vader!!!
Thanks for the contest!!
my son and husband love star wars. my son hasn’t seen much of the movies yet, as he is only 4, but he has a TON of the action figures and loves to correct me when i get their names wrong. i think these would replace the lego guys cookie cutters as his favorite if we got these!
These are so dang cute!! My kiddos would love them, but I think my husband would love them more! Great idea for fathers day, will have to go by W.S.! Keep up the great work. I am off to make the congo bars right now. Can’t wait to eat them.
My coworker is a nerd AND a baker and would love these!
okay, these are super super cute! my friend’s son is having a star wars party and I would totally make these for him.=) What a great giveaway… I think he and his friends would just LOVE them!
I love all the old episodes and the new ones. My son thinks his name is Anakin and tells everyone he meets. He was lucky enough to inherit his dad’s star war action figures and he plays with them constantly! I think I might have to make a trip to Williams-Sonoma now…
R2D2 is the best; what a loyal and entertaining companion he would be! Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
OMG! My boys would go NUTS if I won/bought some of these!! they LOVE Star Wars. We have the movies, video games, board games, multiple toy figures, the Lego set…And I have even done a pretty cute Yoda Birthday cake!
The older ones rock way harder than the new ones, who wouldn’t want to stare at Harrison Ford in skintight pants for 6 solid hours?
Well, Harrison Ford of course!! Who wouldn’t want to nibble on him!!!LOL Just kidding. Thanks for the chance.
My favorite character? I’d have to say probably C-3PO, because we’re both neurotic to no end. :)
Pick me pick me!
At the end of my wedding rehearsal, in the place where the priest would normally say “You may kiss the bride,” ours said, “May the Force be with you.”
I have two boys who are Star Wars fanatics. I’ve already made a birthday cake of Anakin and Obi Wan’s fight in the lava and I tried making candy molds of Darth Vader’s mask to top cupcakes – I made them, but I really wish I had had these awesome cookie cutters instead!
I have a co-worker who is so calm and insightful anytime that I have a work-related issue (which is almost daily it seems!). I call him “Yoda”. How happy he would be to get a big batch of Yoda cookies! Thanks for the fun giveaway!
I love the Eewoks! They are just so cute:)!
My favorite character is Princess Leia from the original movie. I remember seeing this movie in the theater when I was a kid (tells you I’m not a youngster huh?) and I thought it was the COOLEST thing EVER. LOVED it!
I love Star Wars! Even have a cat named Chewie since he is black and fuzzy.
My 6 year old LOVES Star Wars – would be great to make these cookies for his next birthday!!
I watched Star Wars in Concert in October and it was awesome! There were so many kids dressed as jedi, Yoda, etc…too cute!
I love the little Ewoks… like teddy bears, but alive! Soooo cute :)
I had tons of Star Wars toys when I was little, and I’ve seen all (1-6) movies at least 20 times by now – I liked the new ones only because of Ewan McGregor… He’s almost as yummie as cookies.
Those cookie cutters are awesome and I hope I win :D
Episode 5 is our favorite and one son is a Star Wars super fan. His date to prom made him a boutenniere with an origam death star and a Lego Obi Wan Kenobi. It was so cool. We would have a lot of fun with these!
I AM Princess Leia.
My daughter LOVES watching Star Wars with her Daddy!!!
I was home with my family this past Christmas. We all got a bit of a stomach bug at one point, and I ended up spending a couple of days holed up on the sofa with my sweet (not-so) baby (anymore) cousins watching the entire Star Wars series. We watched first from start to finish, then they wanted to rewatch them all in order of release. We didn’t go that far, but I loved every minute of it.
Would love to have these. I married into a family of Star Wars geeks 10 years ago. They would love some geeky cookies at the next family event.
My dad has been obsessed with SW since the first movie aired in the late 70’s. He’s read every star wars book and spin off book out there, he’s even gone as far as making a Darth Vader costume for halloween one year. If you could see my parents’ home, you’d laugh. My 2 brothers and I never even had a chance…we were doomed to be Sci-Fi geeks from the womb…
WOW! Those are the cutest little cookie cutters ever lol. You know, I had no intention on ever watching any of the Star Wars movies but one day, my hubby made me watch all but the last one cause it was about to hit theaters. He told me I could not go see that one until I saw the others. Sure enough, I watched them.. Became obsessed and had to buy ALL of them.
My granddaughter would LOVE these. She moved when she was 3 and if she was really, really good on the trip, she got a storm trooper hat. She made it !!!!!! She’d love these cutters, now that she is a mature 5!
I grew up with my Star Wars obsessed over brother who made me watch the trilogy constantly! But what little girl wouldn’t love the Ewoks or Chewbacca so I learned to enjoyed it too! My favorite memory is playing with my barbies on my brother’s Ewok Village.
Aww, these are cute.
Hehe.
My favorite character is probably R2D2 and that robot guy..
Can’t believe I forgot his name..
Oh well!
I also liked the new Star Wars with Hayden Christensen.
Mmm. (:
Definitely Yoda!!
Oh.My.Goodness. My 4 1/2 year old currently has his hair styled just like Aniken when he was a padawan. Jedi tail and all!
OMG! I used to play Star Wars with my older brother all the time when we were little. He always stole the good characters though…for May 4th (Star Wars Day!) I made storm trooper and boba fett rice balls for dinner and we drank yoda soda. We also used light saber chopsticks. I have to have these!
My 4 year old son loves Star Wars (as does his daddy). He loves talking about the good guys and the bad guys. I love how he mispronounces the harder names for him to say. “Chewbacca” is “Choco-wacco.”
I would love to nibble some Ewok ear. (Wow, that sounded incredibly dirty!) Maybe next edition.
The cookies would be a present for my husband. We have a deal – I’ll watch Star Wars when he watches BBC’s Pride & Prejudice. So far, neither of us have given in!
The original is still my favorite…as for figurines – I have lots and lots and lots!!!
I count the original Trilogy as my favorite movie. I cannot remember a time in my life when it hasn’t been. I have been both Yoda and Princess Leia for Halloween. I have a fish named Richard Marquand. I want to start a band called De Wanna Wonga solely to put out the song “Oh, no! The Rancor!” My ringtone for my family is the Star Wars Main Theme. I need these cookie cutters.
@Alissa H: Check this out http://www.amazon.com/Wookiee-Cookies-Star-Wars-Cookbook/dp/0811821846
Those are super cute cookie cutters. Humming the Star Wars theme makes my sweet baby Gianna smile.
Timely post – today is the 30th anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back! Needless to say, these would make me a hero at my house!
ACK!!!!!!!!!
I MUST HAVE THESE!!!!!
2 examples of why I must be the proud owner:
1) my BFF is an uber geek, whom I just found out has an actual light saber!!!!!! TRULY!!!!!!! I can’t make these things up. maybe that in itself isnt that astonishing…but she’s about 30 and an executive admin for a defense contractor. (aka – the least likely candidate)
2) my fiance – HUUUUUUUGE Star Wars/LOTR/Spaceballs fanatic…i bought him the deluxe DVD collection but he prefers to watch them on VHS since thats what he grew up with. (WTH???!!)
PICK ME PICK ME PICK ME!
I solemnly swear to make each of these people S.W. cookies for their birthday!
Star Wars was our first date; we dated 3 years and then got married- 7 going on 8 years! this would be a fun anniversary surprise for my hubby! ;-)
Can’t say I love Star Wars, but my boyfriend def does! Would love to win these so I could make him some :)
I LOVE STAR WARS!!!
I have a Star Wars cook book already. I even have light saber chopsticks!
I cannot pass up on these cookie cutters!!!!!!
I love R2D2 and Yoda! My son has an extensive collection and his love of Star Wars was passed down from his father. He would love these cookie cuttters and I am sure use them several times.
My oldest son LOVES Star Wars, especially the Clone Wars. He turned 5 earlier this month and had a Clone Wars-themed birthday party. I had been searching for weeks beforehand for Star Wars cookie cutters but none existed. Leave it until right AFTER his birthday for them to come out!
My DH’s best friend is a total SW freak, this would totally be the best gift for him (and, he’s a father AND a cook too!)
My sister is home visiting from Italy where she lives now, and she is recently obsessed with star wars. She bought the books and a tshirt off ebay to be sent to house for her when she got here. I can’t say I’ve made it through a whole movie on my own though!
I remember when the first movie came out – I was 4. No, my parents didn’t take me, but my 5 year-old neighbor told me all about it. I kind of feel like I saw it in the theatre.
One of my best friend is a Star Wars addict (and his flat is decorated accordingly), has a soft spot for decorated sugar cookies, and became a daddy two weeks ago…
A set of these would be the greatest gift ever for his first Daddy’s Day !!!!
I’ve never seen Star Wars but would love to make these cookies for my friends who love the movies!
My husband is a star wars fanatic…. Right this minute he’s on his xbox live account decking out his avatar in the new star wars theming they have. We buy Star Wars baby stuff every time we find it, for our nonexistent children. I’ve come to love it too, and would really enjoy being able to make SW’s cookies!
All my friends love Star Wars, though I have to say I’m more of a Star Trek girl myself. They would be so geeked if I come back to college in the fall making Star Wars cookies. :]
My husband and two-year-old son would absolutely LOVE these. They’re downstairs watching Star Wars together right now =)
Yoda! Good luck to me :)
Way too cute! My nephew would go absolutely insane for these cutters. He’s got two YouTube videos that feature him surrounded by Star Wars figures acting out battle scenes (with my brother adding sound effects behind the camera).
Oh, and not to let the boys have all the fun. When we were kids, my brother was C-3PO in one of those out of the box, plastic mask type of costumes while I had the Princess Leia costume custom made by mom (white dress from a sheet, buns made of yarn since my Dorothy Hamill ‘do was too short).
Fun! Love those cookie cutters! My husband occasionally saddly remembers his death star action figure set…and his mom would always say she wished she hadn’t thrown it out!
How awesome are those???!!! My nephew is a big Star Wars fan and we get him something related to Star Wars for every gift we give him! He would LOVE those cookies!!
I must have these. My 4 oldest boys are currently making a movie with star wars action figures. ( I personally could careless about these movies but my boys LOVE them.)
my 16 year old son and his friends LOVE the star wars movies! they recently had a Star Wars Movie Marathon! They would LOVE these treats!
Definetely Yoda:)
I grew up with Star Wars and my favorite memory is watching my older brother collect them all and learn so much about such an intricate world. It was fascinating and inspiring to think that one person had thought all of that up in their head.
Star Wars was the first movie I remember seeing with my dad. He was a smoker then, and would have to leave every 15 minutes to smoke! I wonder if he remembers that? I’ll have to ask him :)
I remember in the early 80s, my cousin had the Darth Vader helmet-shaped case for all of his action figures. I would love these cookie cutters to make him a treat for his next birthday!
I don’t know anything about star wars, but my husband would like these. Crossing my fingers!
Oh my gosh these are awesome!
Oh, how cute! There would be one happy husband in this house if I won these!
I love Chewy — who doesn’t?
Who doesn’t love star wars? And who wouldn’t love cookies in the shape of YODA??
my best friends and i went to the new ones when they were out in theaters in middle school!
I have to admit, I’m not a huge Star Wars gal, but my brother-in-law is all about some Star Wars. I’d love to have this cute little set and make some cookies for his 35th birthday that’s coming up in July — he’d love them! =)
Okay, so the chance of me being randomly selected out of 3,000 people is slim to none, but…you know Alan LOVES Star Wars. We had Princess Leah and Hans Solo on top of the groom’s cake at our wedding. Sad, but true.
And Colin would go crazy over these cookie cutters. I may have to just go out and buy a set myself.
Yoda is my hero! Love the scene where he kicks Count Dooku’s butt! And when my husband gets tired he talks like Yoda…So cute these cookie cutters are!
My boys would be giddy if I pulled out a cookie sheet from the oven with cookies shaped as their fave Star Wars guys! They are 3 and 4 and they are OBSESSED with Star Wars. They know all the weird names of all the guys and they are trying to teach me :-)
My husband loves Star Wars so much that after it only made sense to have me watch all 6 movies prior to us going to a Star Wars Concert for his birthday! I hope I can win the cookie cutter set so I can make those for him for his 1st daddy’s day!
may the force be with me ;)
Oh my…I may just have to buy a set for everyone in my life. I can remember going to the third movie and argueing with my sister about whether or not Luke and Leah were siblings. :-)
Every time i watch Star Wars i think of the scene on Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure when they are fighting in full plate armor in medieval times. “YOU’RE NOT MY FATHER!”
These are soooo cool!! I could make cookies for myself and my sons, who have 3 huge plastic tubs full of Star Wars action figures, the space vehicles and a bunch of misc. things. When they were small, we used to visit flea markets and comic book conventions in search of reasonable “vintage” action figures or hard to get current figures. I can’t imagine the amount of $$$ invested in those bins. Probably enough to pay for their college textbooks and then some.
I wonder how I could use these cookies cutters on my scrapbook pages.
Oh, and my favorite character, Yoda, love his philosophy.
Alisa
I got tears in my eyes when Kit Fisto died; that was so sad when the Jedis died in Revenge of the Sith. I was very disappointed that the newer Star Wars movies were so off the mark from the originals. I was thrilled when my mechanic recently compared my car to the Millenium Falcon – She may not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts! LOL…
Sometimes my husband and I get pop corn and watch a Star Wars movie. Cookie cutters are awsome!
One of my earliest memories is going to see Star Wars at the theater! I was HOOKED!!! It’s carried on to all three of my children! My youngest son Luca, has been Luke for the last 4 years and was Darth Vader before that!!! We adore Star Wars ’round these parts!!!!
I am a Star Wars fan and my favorite character is Watto on the planet Tatooin (Episode I.) :-)
I would love these cookie cutters!!
I grew up watching “Star Wars” with my daddy. It is a memory that will stay with me forever.
Those would be so awesome to make for my nerdy friends!
My favorite game of all time Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and I adored this character so much, Carth Onassi, that my BFF made me a shirt with him on it and his tagline, “You got it” on the back for San Diego Comic Con. I made such a scene about the sequiel, squeeeing and playing the game all expert like, and the shirt made such an impression, I was taken out for drinks by the producers of the game after the convention!
I write Old Republic fan fiction, I’m a dang nut.
OhMyGoodness!!! These are awesome! I came into the star wars craze a little late lol…but my brother was (and still is) in love with all things star wars…so he made me watch every movie/episode at once!! But my favorite has to be episode 2, the love story gets me every time =) ?
oh and Happy 30year Anniversary to Empire Strikes Back!
Boba Fett is the best Star Wars character ever! Love these cookie cutters!!
My favorite line from any Star Wars movie is:
“Bring the Princess and the Wookie to my chamber”
my husband would LOVE me forever if I made him Star Wars cookies.
AND…my birthday is tomorrow – the 22nd – when you’re doing the drawing…perhaps this will bring me good luck :)
Oh my… I MUST have these! I have been a SW fiend from waaaay back. When the prequels came out I went nuts. Case in point: I saw Ep 1 in the theatre about 11 times because every time someone came over I would ask them what they thought of the movie and when they were like “I haven’t seen it yet.” I was all “let’s go, like RIGHT N.O.W.”
yup… little scary, I know! lol
Favorite character is Han Solo. Duh. :)
I remember when my brother was little, he was really into Star Wars. The best memory I have of him indulging in his favourite film was watching him run around the house using a parsnip as a light saber. I think some Star Wars cookies would bring back fond memories :)
i seriously love these!
and i bet they taste yummer, just because…
Definitely Han Solo! Love him… We are huge Star Wars fanatics at our house! I had tons of the action figures that my mom actually saved, so my kids play with them now.
May the force be with me so I can win. We have a Star Wars club at the school I teach at, and I would love to make cookies for them.
My fiance loves loves loves star wars! I have never actually seen all the movies…
My husband loves Star Wars. This reminds me of the Star Wars dolls I have in my attic that I was going to someday put on eBay, maybe today is the day!
My first Star Wars memory was watching the fifth one (or trying to) with my younger brother and my father when I was about six years old. I just remember being really grossed out by Jabba the Hutt, and that one scene where they’re stuck in the room thing that’s getting smaller. I really hope I have my facts straight here, because that would be embarrassing if I didn’t. But I think I am remembering correctly!
Anyway I think these cutters are so exciting. My friends would be so jealous if I had them hahaah but I’d make them Yodas all the time. Thanks for putting one up for grabs! <3
I love all the Star Wars movies. I would love all the Star Wars cookies. :D
So this is not so much about me, but my husband. His mother saved all of his ORIGINAL action figures in the Darth Vader carrying case and now my son plays with the figures whenever we go to visit. I think both of them would get a kick out of these cookie cutters! Thanks for sharing :)
Oooooh…waaaaant!
These bring back memories of my time in my college’s Star Wars Club…I was the trivia champ, and Lightsaber Duelling champ for two years running! We used to make the most awesome geeky treats. One of the best was when our club president made us Yoda Soda, Darth Malts, and Wookie Cookies. :)
And then there was the evening when we played “Capture the Ion Cannon”…
OMG, I totally need these!! I’m not the type of person to go to conventions or anything but I do have the O.G. Star Wars bedsheets from the 70s!!! Go ahead and say it….I’m a big dork.
Are. You. Kidding. Me. If I don’t win these, I’ll just have to go down and buy a set myself. My 7 yr old will be the hit of his school!!!
Oh I live in a house with a husband who is obsessed with Star Wars! My kids were even dressed as Princess Leia and Yoda for Halloween one year. Grew up watching all of them a lot with my dad…great memories for me!
Those cutters are awesome!!
