The other day I was doing a little impromptu shopping. I had already spent more than I wanted and I was about to pass the Williams-Sonoma store. I said to myself. “Walk faster. Faster. Don’t look in. You don’t need anything else. Whatever you do…
…don’t stop…
Don’t look in the …”
Dang. They got me.
I really tried not to go in, but how could I be complete without these Star Wars Cookie Cutters. I knew if I left empty handed, I’d wish I had bought them in the off chance someone I know wants Boba Fett cookies one day. So I went in, telling myself the whole time I would just have a peek. I can resist.
I can resist so well that I only bought two. One for me and one for you. Okay, one for one of you.
Now, I like to bake to go along with a giveaway if I can, but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to make and pipe these this weekend and I just couldn’t wait to show you these cutters. Plus, my piping skills might deter you from wanting to try them. Piping royal icing is a skill I need to work on, but the way to go if you’re up for it. They’d still be super cute just like this photo from the back of the box, though.
The cutters have plungers that make impressions in the sugar cookie dough as you cut shapes.
You can whip up some Storm Troopers…
A Dark Lord perhaps.
Maybe some Boba Fett’s just so you can say the name over and over.
And you have to make Yoda, of course. Make him you should. And eat him you shall.
But… but wait… where’s Chewbacca and R2-D2? What’s up with that? I want to nibble on a little Wookiee. And maybe a little Harrison Ford.
They need a second edition. Fingers crossed.
The set comes packaged in a cute box with a recipe for cookies and icing.
Besides the kiddies going gaga for these, I think it would make a great gift for Daddy’s Day. Well, it might make some Daddy’s Day, not all.
Find them at Williams-Sonoma or…

shannonwilli – congrats and tell your husband to brush off his yoda costume. Fun times ahead.
oooh, thank you for bringing this to light! my dad has been a huge star wars collector since i was born (around empire strikes back). would love to make these cookies for him this father’s day! *fingers crossed*
I love Ewoks
My husband, four year old daughter, and myself all LOVE everything Star Wars. We even have my husband’s original action figures from the 70’s to play with. These cutters would be the icing on the cookie.
omg! I love star wars. I love cookie cutters! Two of my faves!!! omg!
How fun! I can’t believe that the Star Wars Empire has reached all the way to Williams-Sonoma! Love it!!
I MUST have these cookie cutters so i can make them for my husband! He is a die hard Star Wars fan and this would be a great treat for him i can make!!
my favorite star wars character would have to be the sith lord. a double edged light saber? full of win, and a swift fighter too!
I never watched Star Wars until I was at college and my friends made me. I just didn’t know what I was missing!
c3po is definitely my favorite!! i’m really sad he isn’t a part of the set!
My brother and his son are such huge fans of Star Wars. When my nephew was about 6, he used to tell my brother “star wars da da” and my brother would have to put on a video for him. They now have the entire collection, along with the ship and various other lego figures that they have made. I have watched these shows so many times, they are such a classic.
I got a Han Solo action figure when I was 7. 23 years later, I still have it (and the carbonite he was frozen in)…I’m pretty sure I NEED those cookie cutters.
These are so adorable! I think they need to have an ewok, though…. that would complete the set.
Oh my GOD. This is perfect, I’m such a geek ahah My fav character.. that’s hard to choose actually, I love a lot of them!
Loved return of the jedi
i think my favorite part of star wars is the fact that yoda speaks out of order. yoda rocks.
I’ve grown up loving Star Wars and married a Star Wars fanatic. I showed him the link to these and his immediate response was, “I want it.” He hates baking.
These would make my husband’s day – not to mention mine :)
He’s been in love with Star Wars since his dad took him when he was a kid, and so Star Wars is very much a part of my life for the last 10 years. I proposed to him at the theater when we went to see Attack of the Clones, we had a Star Wars cake at the brunch following our wedding… this year, I made a Star Wars themed birthday party for my 33 year old, father of 2 husband; complete with Death Star cake and handmade Star Wars beanbag toss (Storm Trooper, Boba Fett and C-3PO beanbags.. ). Okay… this is getting long, so I’ll just say I would LOVE to win these :) Great giveaway! :)
My friend and I love Star Wars so much, we’re in the light saber club at school! We learn different fighting techniques & have our own light sabers.
As a 26-year-old female, I saw my first Star Wars movie about 2 years ago. I had always thought that the movie was for geeky boys, but I really enjoyed it! This just makes me want to watch all the rest of the movies while eating cute cookies! :)
When I was little, I would watch Return of the Jedi over and over and over again. I’m told I refused to watch Sesame Street and demanded to watch Star Wars. I still love Star Wars to this day! These cookie cutters would be AWESOME.
empire strikes back is the bestest movie ever! my sister and i used to collect the little figurines all the time, for dayz! these cookie cutters would totally make a cute present for my sister’s high school graduation present :)
I can’t begin to tell you how many times my husband has watched all the Star War movies. When he gets bored he pops one in and there we go…AGAIN!
I have always loved Luke Skywalker!
Those cookie cutters are damn cute!
My favorite thing about Star Wars is remembering watching them with my dad (on VHS, natch) when I was younger. He’d love some cookies made with these for Father’s Day!
My husband is a HUGE Star Wars Fan. Not only of the movies themselves which he can quote verbatim, but he has read every book every written. He is quite the force to be reckoned with at Star Wars Trivial Pursuit. Our dream is to one day take all of his collectible figures, books, Pepsi cans from Episode 1, etc and display in a room. Our 10 year wedding anniversary is in June and I would love to surprise him with these cookies!
My husband is totally Star Wars mad – last Halloween, he dressed up as a Jedi and even went on the Metro dressed like that (in Paris, no less) – needless to say, he even managed to get a few smiles out of the famously grouchy Parisiens! ; )
Well I collect unusual cookie cutters, the last lot I bought were kama sutra cutters, But I can give you a star wars story.
My mum took me to see stars wars when I was but a babe in a blanket, and I’ve been a fan ever since. When return of the Jedi came out ,naturally all the kids were playing it in the playgrounds. I had ballet classes on a friday, and as I had uber long hair at the time, mum used to give me a leia ‘updo’ and so the kids always insisted that I be her, but all I ever wanted to be was chewbacca! My proudest moment was meeting peter mayhew in a local shopping centre and getting a great big hug from him. I hugged a wookie!!!
P.S-Here is the link to the saucy cookie cutters. I’ll happily mail you some of those if you mail me star wars ones ;-)

We are a family of 6 Star Wars geeks!
My favorite is the very first one – full of campy humor and not all special effects and darkness like the later ones. Favorite character is Hans Solo, of course!
Well of course I remember watching the Stars Wars Movies as a kid, but it was neat when the new ones came out a few years agao and I was able to take my kids to see and enjoy them.
We love Star Wars! My 10 year old loves it so much that his bedroom in our new house is being decorated in a Star Wars theme!
Go Yoda!
My kids LOVE Star Wars!! I even play Star Wars lego on the Wii with them!!
OH MY! My future son-in-law had a Star Wars birthday this past year – complete with a Death Star cake! Would LOVE to be able to make him cookies for the next one!
Empire Strikes back is my favorite.
My husband would love these! My favorite character is Chewbacca.
I didn’t grow up with the Star Wars movies. In fact, I didn’t watch them until I was in college. Yet, I fell in love with them instantly. I even downloaded the Imperial March as my ringtone to my cell that same day. These cookie cutters would not only make me happy, but would definitely bring a smile to my husband’s face!
I’m not a fan personally but my husband and nephews definitely are! I would love to make some of these cookies for them!
I love the original Star Wars movie!
When I was younger my little brother watched Star Wars over and over multiple times a day until the VHS broke. I’d love to have these for my little boy!
Those are so cute!
Episode 1 came out when I was single, and a friend of mine worked for a company who reserved the whole theater on a Saturday morning. We went to the movie for free and had all the free popcorn and candy we could ever want, all before 10:00 in the morning! Fun times!
Darth Vader has always been my favorite. Star Wars ROCKS!!
My six year old grandson loves Star Wars…guess who taught him all about it….me. I have a stash of Star Wars collectibles, or at least I did (LOL). Every so often, I have to pull all of them out and he picks a figure to open. No problem with me as I love that he is enjoying them and that is why I bought them anyway…for the smile on his face. I’m sure my other two Grandsons will follow along as soon as they are a little older. Star Wars cookies are a great way to introduce them. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
my oldest brother is a FANatic, and so his his firstborn, my nephew – so it is super cute to see how my nephew knows more about the details of StarWars than my brother does! this would be SO fun to win to make cookies for Andrew!
I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of the movies, but these cookie cutters are super cute.
I can only hope the force will be with me on this one! I MUST have it….Random comment picker….you WILL pick me!
The obsession is really my husband and my son’s. Fortunately for my son, my husband had a box full of old Star Wars figures, that he was able to add to his collection. I don’t know how many the two of them have in total….but can you imagine the smile on my two little padawans if they get cookies in these shapes?
My husband is a Star Wars fanatic! We have two original signed movie posters in our basement. My sister even bought him a SW Pez collection last year!
Last summer my friends and I watched the entire Star Wars series non-stop while eating hotdogs and hamburgers. It was possibly the best indoor bbq I’ve ever had!
That is fantastic! I think my sister might be getting some of these for her birthday, she is a fan and a baker!
I almost got kicked out of Star Wars Episode 1, on opening day with my friends. Because we accidentally shot a soda straw three rows in front of us while horsing around…. and then asked for it back…..
I was 26.
Yeppers…. Love Star Wars.
forget Daddy’s Day – I think I would be required to make these Every Day for my hubby. The only thing that would make them cooler is if they also included DC Comics characters. Imagine the battles between Vader and Superman! Okay, probably no match, but I’m not comic-nerdy enough to come up with a better combination. I’ll work on it (while baking)…
My nephew loves Star Wars. I would love to make them for him.
Thanks!
My bed head resulted in the nickname Wookie from my husband :-)
Don’t hate me, but I am not a Star Wars fan. I haven’t seen a single movie…but my husband is a fan…so I would make cookies for him…they are really cute!
My nephew wants a star wars birthday….it’s his favorite movies…..and these would be amazing!
I love Star Wars and I love your blog! My brother and I used to love the weekends when the whole trilogy would be on tv, and it would captivate us for an entire day. These movies are great memories for me from my childhood!
My 8-year old son is totally into the old school Star Wars now – I can hardly stand it! I told him that I was a big Star Wars fan when I was a kid to which he replied – “you must be old, Mom, because even the new Star Wars is old.” Nice.
I still have my original toys from the early 80s including Darth Vader, Boba Fett and of course, the Millennium Falcon!
My boys would LOVE these! Especially my youngest…he was so excited to get his own apron and cooking utensils for his 7th birthday last week!
My 5 year old is just now getting into Star Wars. That’s all he wanted for his birthday. He would LOVE Star Wars shaped cookies!
OMG, who doesn’t love a light saber??? That, and the absolutely adorable Lego Star Wars video game…
Besides that, I don’t know any man who doesn’t love the Princess Leia/gold bikini/crazy cinnamon bun ‘do scene with Jabba the Hut. :)
I love ALL of the Star Wars movies! And I LOVE that the 4th of July on Spike TV becomes the “Force” of July
Might just have to have a Star Wars party!! So cute :)
love’em!
Sigh… I still think Luke SkyWalker is coming to pick me up…
I don’t LOVE star wars but my sister’s do. They’d LOVE these!
My friend at work would LOVE these. She is a HUGH Star Wars Fan. She also introduced me to your wonderful site.
Thanks for all the great ideas.
Barbara
:-)
One of my friends is the biggest Star Wars fan ever–I will definitely be telling her about this!
I think my hubby would DIE if I made him Star Wars cookies! He loves the movies, the action figures, everything, and often reminises about all the toys he had as a kid. What a cool give away! Thanks!
Our entire family loves Star Wars. The boys regularly have light saber wars in the park across the street with the other boys in the neighborhood. (they have a HUGE rubbermaid container full of different light sabers) Just think if they could have Star Wars cookies afterwards…
My nephew is obsessed with Star Wars – baking him some of these cookies to hide in his lunch would be a great surprise!
My dad, my older brother, my little step brother, and my cousins have all been obsessed with Stars Wars for so long as I can recall. Everytime I see any Star Wars related food items I begin getting excited for them! After all, isn’t chomping down on Darth Vader just as satisfying as slaying him with a saber? And a tad more delicious.
I will never forget the first Christmas my husband and I were together. He was so excited to put the tree up and I remember thinking how cute it was that a grown man liked Christmas so much. Little did I know that he had an ENTIRE BOX of Star Wars Christmas ornaments that were not only ugly as all get out, but some of them talked. TALKED.
Bless his heart, we no longer have a Star Wars themed Christmas tree… but I know he is still secretly waiting for the day I OK the Star Wars bedsheets for our kiddos. I love the idea of these cookies for Father’s Day, and if I don’t win them, I will need to find them for my little wookie.
I didn’t see the the original trilogy Star Wars movies in their entirety until I was in middle school (1994). I blame my parents, and living overseas.
What kid didn’t have an Ewok stuffed bear…so cute.
OMG>>>>>>Starwars Cookies I Must.
How about making some starwars cake pops too.
I’m an italian girl. does it work also for me? :-D
My favorite Stars Wars character is Chewie. I am a little sad that they don’t have a cookie cutter for him but I will take Yoda any day!!
Add me to the list of women with a loved one that LOVES Star Wars. My 36 year old husband to be exact. I indulge his fantasy forum by :
1) Planning a trip to Disney for June when they hold Star Wars Weekends.
2)Every year since we have been together, he gets a new Star Wars collectible and a Darth Vader candle on his cake.
3) I baked him my first R2-D2 cake for his birthday this year.
4) He will FREAK OUT if I make him Star Wars cookies!!!
What… no Chewbacca, he and Yoda are my favorites… and my kids favorites as well! I think you are right; in need of second addition! I love these!!!!
While I’m not the Star Wars fan many of my friends and family are, I enjoy a great villain and for sure, Star Wars has one of the greatest villains of all time.
These cookie cutters are awesome!
Too cute! R2D2 is my favorite, despite the fact he just squeaks and makes computer sounds. He’s the kindest character in the show.
These are THE most amazing cookie cutters I’ve ever seen. If I don’t win, I’m going straight to williams-sonoma to buy them! haha wow nothing better than scifi cookies!
I once told my Star Wars fan boyfriend (we’ve been together six years) that Empire Strikes Back was my least favorite of all the Star Wars movies because it has snow in the beginning on Hoth and I hate cold weather. He was not amused!
My favorite characters are Darth Vader AND Yoda. I’m not a fan of the new movies, but I think they at least painted a picture of Darth Vader’s fall while the original movies told of his redemption. It’s a great story. As for Yoda, all of my most favorite quotes from the movies come from him.
My boyfriend’s favorite character is Han Solo; my boyfriend is also scruffy-looking ;)
I’ll wave my nerd flag high and say that, Yoda cookies, I want. Very much.
I love these cookie cutters! Planning on making my three kids dress up like Star Wars for Halloween. My little two year old daughter is going to be Yoda. My seven year old daughter with be Leah with the classic bun hairstyle and my nine year old son is Luke of course!
I wanted to be Princess Leia! I used to have my mom do my hair like hers, with the two huge braided buns on either side of my head. These are so cute!
“Laugh it up, Fuzzball.” :)
I don’t know anything about Star Wars, but I would love these to be able to make them for several SW obsessed friends. Thanks!
I saw these online yesterday and thought ooh my son and husband need these!
I think that you were dropping a hint when you mentioned Chewbacca and R2D2…as in I can’t wait to see your cake pop creations!
I’ve always been strangely proud of the fact that I was born in 1977, the same year the original Star Wars was released. Strange b/c really, it took no skill or talent on my part, just coincidence.
I just finished listening to the audiobook “Wishful Drinking” by Carrie Fisher, which I *highly* recommend to fellow Star Wars fans. She is funny, strange in the head, smart, and just plain entertaining to listen to.
I love these cute cutters. I am the mother of 3 boys, and with Daddy included I am so outnumbered. Star Wars is a part of every little boys youth, as well as those Daddy’s that want to relive it too.
I was born around the time Return of the Jedi came out, but Empire has always been my favorite. Although those Ewoks are pretty darn cute!
i don’t know one thing about star wars, but my kids and my husband love it!! these cookie cutters would make their next birthdays a real hit!
My family is obsessed with Star Wars. I have always loved to watch them, and learn everything I can! My family would LOVE these cookie cutters, we would make cookies way more often than we do now if we had cool cookie cutters. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PICK ME!
lightsaber cookies what what?
These are so amazing!!! I would love to bake lil yodas. Oh mah gaawwdddd
My sister and brother and law met on the plane on the way home from a star wars convention. I would love to make them a little basket of character cookies for their anniversary!
I love Star Wars…and cookies!! Empire Strikes Back is the favorite at our house :)
Wow. I can’t believe these!
I was about 9 and sick with a high fever when I hallucinated and thought the Ewoks were actually coming to get me as the family watched Return of the Jedi. My family recounts this story often, as apparently I was “hysterical”.
My husband will DIE over these.
Oh my! If I don’t win, I might have to buy these. We collect figurines in our family. Original 80s.
My husband is a die-hard fan of Star Wars. Any time he is reminded of the movies, he begs me to have a Star Wars marathon with him!
Bakerella, I live vicariously through you every week! With a prechooler, an 8 year old and a family run childcare center, who has time to make all the amazing goodies you make?! I actually had heart papataions when I saw these cookies cutters this morning on yousr site! I love that Star Wars has made such an impact on my kids generation. My 8 year old son and his 42 year old father can often be found in the rumpus room on rainy days (like today her in Canada) with plastic, authentic noise making light sabers acting out the fight scenes while the movie is playing in the background. You’d have to see it to believe it! Thanks for finding all the fabulous goodies you come across and for sharing them with us. Up here in Canada where I live, we are limited in the unique baking accessories. We have Wilton and that’s pretty much it. So sad when you know there’s just soooo much else out there!
Keep up the fabulous work!
Pamela from Canada
OMG those are so adorable!
To be honest, I was never into Star Wars until I met my boyfriend. He LOVES Star Wars, so he was sad when I said I never seen any of the movies. He had all 6 of them, so he started showing them to me. I realized that they’re absolutely awesome! I would love to have these cookie cutters. My boyfriend doesn’t have that big of a sweet tooth, but I don’t know if he could resist nomming on Boba Fett’s head LOL
OMGoodness…how fun are these? I am with you…I want a wookie! My daughter can sound just like Chewie…we think it is hysterical when she does it!
I didn’t see Star Wars until college. My resident adviser informed me that it was a necessary component of my liberal arts education.
I went to the Williams Sonona site. Did you see their message-in-a cookie cutters? It’s too bad I have to wait 360 days until my next birthday! Can I claim them as a Mothers’ Day gift to myself?
How cool are these! My nephew doesn’t have just a regular ‘ole Mr. Potato Head, he has a Darth Tater!
I love all the original Star Wars movies and my nephews are obsessed. I would be the coolest aunt ever if I got these.
Gotta have these as everyone calls my dog Yoda so gotta make Yoda cookies for the family……wonder if I could find a dog cookie so my dog could eat them too….or is that just too weird.
1977….the first Star Wars. My aunts, mother and I at the biggest movie to hit the screen in forever. They embarrassed me so much because all they could talk about was the bar scene and what a bunch of goofy looking aliens. If they could have only looked past what they perceived as stupid and seen what I saw. A fantastic movie that was good in so many ways.
I would LOVE a set of these! Heck, I feel compelled to say I NEED them! My boyfriend is headed for a dreaded trip to the dentist… maybe a Stormtrooper cookie would cheer him up afterwards (and then back to the dentist). My favourite character is R2D2.
SO COOL! Did you hear they are redoing Star Tours at Disneyland! WOOT!
These are awesome, my hubby would love them. Of course my favorite character are the Ewoks!
too cute! Thanks again for another great giveaway. :)
Both my husband and sons would be very excited about these! And I agree about Harrison ; ) lol
My Sweetie loves Star Wars. If Star Wars is on TV he has to watch it. I have gotten quite used to it over the 11 years we have been together.
My husband would love it if I made him Star Wars cookies. Fingers crossed that I am the lucky winner. Thanks for all the great giveaways, Bakerella!
To be honest I do not know a lot about Star Wars, I have seen all the new movies and the older ones when I was little, but other than that I have not experienced much else. My husband on the other hand, loves Star Wars games, music, movies, he loves it all!
Chewbacca is the best hand’s down. He’s just too cute! I love it when people try to impersonate him.
My daughter would love these! Thanks for the link to buy them, I’ll be doing that if I don’t win them! My daughter asked for Darth Vader cupcakes, light saber and doll for her birthday, of course she got them all. She told me she is in love with him and he doesn’t mean to be bad :/ She is only 6 but I am afraid for what she will bring home as future boyfriends!
I have a Lego R2-D2 key chain and my bf has Darth Vader on his.
R2D2 is hands down my favorite Star Wars character. :)
Star Wars was my first introduction to epic Science Fiction on the big screen and set the standards for many years to come for me. The opportunity to ‘put the bite’ of Vader is *so* appealing. :}
Yoda is my favorite; always wanted to dress as him for Halloween, but wasn’t allowed…
My son loves anything Star Wars, and it is his birthday in a few weeks. These cookie cutters would make the perfect gift! As for me, I am still holding out for Han Solo and Chewie cutters. :o)
How COMPLETELY cool are those!?! I lived, ate and breathed Star Wars as a kid and I still have all of my Star Wars figures. I made sure that the 3 boys I played with as a little kid didn’t play with mine- even at that age I knew that they’d just destroy them playing like boys play. :)
I’ve never seen any of the Star Wars!! My boyfriend keeps trying to convince me, but I like being able to say I’ve never seen them.
The Storm Troopers are super duper cute though…<3
Can you believe that I never saw any of the Star Wars movies until I met my husband? He wasn’t having it, so we of course had a marathon. He has all his figurines from when he was a kid, and an authentic Darth Vader mask he wore on halloween when he was 5. I still don’t understand it all, but I love it because it brings out the little boy inside my husband. Makes me happy! ;)
My husband’s best friend is a big Star Wars nut. When we first started dating this friend heard I liked Star Wars, too, and decided to quiz me. It was my first ‘is this chick good enough for him’ test — and I passed! These cookie cutters would have a good home with us!
I have no boys, but my husband loves Star Wars. For me Yoda is the best character ever. Would love to win this cutters and make a Star Wars party for my lovely husband!
My favorite thing about Star Wars is how dreamy Luke Skywalker is!! I also think the force is pretty cool…”These aren’t the droids you’re looking for!”
With three boys and a nephew, I have a huge bin full of Star Wars figurines and another with costumes. We actually have an interactive R2 (probably my personal favorite) that follows the boys around the house and tortures the dog.
I would LOVE these cookie cutters.
I’ve never seen a Star Wars movie, but would love to make cookies for my son who has seem them all.
Let the force be with you!
My favorite Star Wars memory is when my little brother was like 4 & I was 8 & we were eating mac & cheese on the couch, watching the original trilogy with my dad. My brother fell asleep & his spoon got caught in between his toes. My parents snapped a picture to tease him with & now everytime I watch the movies I think of how cute my little bro was, and still is!
My husband has the Star Wars edition of Monopoly. These would make the perfect treat while playing!
My dad is a big fan of Star Wars and introduced me to the films. Now I also love to watch Star Wars! As a thank you I would like to make him these cookies for fathers day!
I go around the block to avoid going in there. Great cutters!
When my son was 10, my husband and I went out to buy him a space ship for his 11th birthday. He loves Star Wars so we found the Star Wars LEGO space ship and on his birthday he began building. I don’t recall how long it took him to build, but he did it quite fast. Anyways, my 3 year old daughter at the time went outside with her friend and tried to fly the spaceship and she broke it in the middle of the road. My sons 22 birthday just passed but my daughter is going to be 16! These cookie cutters would create some great irony. :)
I love Yoda, but R2 is my favorite. He’s in every episode, and his beeps and boops are totally cute and despite never uttering a word, you KNOW what he’s saying. These cutters are too cute!
cute cookie cutters! My husband loves star wars!
I must say I love your site!!!! We are a Star Wars loving family. My husband and I both remember going to see the movies as kids and we have now got our 3 boys into them also. We have many lego collections, cards and shirts. We watch the movies all the time. I would love to have the cookie cutters to surprise my boys with.
Lucke skywalker, was my favorite character, omg i love star wars, the cookie cutters are awesome
OOOOO!!!!! Pick Me! Pick Me! My son is begging for a Star Wars Birthday Party and these would be PERFECT!!!! (And I think episode 6 is my favorite. :) )
wow, these are fantastic! my son (nate) is just now getting into SW, with much guidance from my husband. nate calls his dad chewbacca. :)
a second edition for sure!!! my husbands side of the family is SO into this movie, I would love to have a party and serve these cute little things! (and I just like to watch it for Yoda-lol).
We love star wars in our house. my son especially of course!my favorite is the 3rd movie. my favorite part is when Darthvador is found after being burned from the lava and he’s getting his suit on and when he breaths in the mask for the first time. Its quite but all you can hear is his breathing. so cool!
I love your site btw. i just dicovered it a few weeks ago and I go on it often.
Oh these are just wonderful!! great find :) I would love to have them to make a fathers day treat.
I love all the movies!! My son is a Star Wars fanatic and would die for these. So stinking cute!!
I have always wanted to dress my son up as Yoda for halloween and then do a halloween/star wars birthday party!
These cookie cutters would really be great!
I love you blog, and I can’t wait for your cookbook!
Nothing better than seeing the look on my 5 yr old nephew’s face after giving him a Darth Vader costume for his birthday last weekend!
And then proceeding to watch him put it on, and act in character the rest of the night! (And the one second at the end of the night when Darth said “love you” and gave me a hug)
My brother was huge on Star Wars (the original 3 movies) when we were kids, and he must have collected over 75 figurines. I started to get jealous and decided to buy just one, Chewbacca. I secretly wanted to be him for Halloween… but never found a costume. Maybe I still will one day.
My favorite character is Padmé Amidala. My 11 yo is a HUGE Star Wars fan…he would just love these
i always wanted an Ewok…but only the baby ones because the older ones freaked me out.
i actually have never seen star wars, but i frequently have to listen as my boyfriend argues with people, ever-stalwart in his position that the older, original movies are the only real, good ones. as far as he is concerned the newer editions do not even exist. all i can do is: smile, nod, repeat. and maybe throw in an “exactly, honey.”
I had a crush on Han Solo when I was about 10 (not on Harrison Ford, on Han Solo!) My husband and boys are Star Wars crazy. In fact just a few days ago, my oldest got in trouble for trading away the Leia Slave girl Lego mini-figure without permission. (Like my husband would have ever given permission… yeah, right.)
Well, I’m honestly not a huge star wars fan….but I know my husband and father in law are and these would be amazing for them!
Do or do not, there is no try….I use this yoda quote on my kids almost daily! Pick me, pick me, pick me. They would love little yodas to munch on! ;)
May the Cookie force be with you !!
Star Wars was the first “real” movie my son ever watched – up to that point, it had just been cartoons. That was over a year ago – and STILL, everyday, at some point, we play light sabers or breathe like Darth Vader or I get asked where Chewy is….my response, “In the bathtub with all your other Star Wars guys”….you see he has the bath toys, 7 of them – R2, C3PO, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Yoda, Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper. I might just get Mother of The Year award if I made cookies shaped like them too!!
Yoda is my favorite character!
I just about died when I saw these. I just finished making my two year old a princess leia costume, and now I am making my four year old a yoda costume. He is obsessed with Star Wars, so I am in the prep mode for his big Star Wars Fifth birthday party. Then for halloween their baby brother will join Princess Leia and Yoda as a little 8 month old Ewok. These cookie cutters would be perfect for his birthday, and I think my son would have me making them constantly!!
My husband and my brother LOVE starwars. These cookie cutters are adorable!
My sweet husband is a Star Wars fan, and he would think I totally rocked if I won and then made cookies for him. Please pick me!
My husband has quite the collection of Star Wars figurines. I like them, just not enough to spend money on them.
Though one of the ways we knew we were meant for each other is we each had the Special Edition video tapes – one set open, one set unopened. ^_^
I’m hoping to win these so I can make Darth Vader ice cream sandwiches for my dad on Father’s Day.
I remember watching Star Wars as a kid. It was pretty cool. Still love Han Solo! :D
I was 7 years old when I first saw Star Wars and I FELL ASLEEP! My son was obsessed with Star Wars two years ago and I would have LOVED these for his party! Now he likes anything Lego Star Wars. My daughter, not so much. But the cookie cutters are fantastic!
My husband LOVES Star Wars. I almost bought these a few days ago, but went with the pancake molds instead. These cookie cutters would be the perfect companion! :)
When I was twelve my younger cousins made me watch Star Wars(I honestly can’t remember which one) with them. Being the sci-fi nerd I am, I adored it. When it ended and I told them how much I loved it, my then 5 year-old cousin told me girls weren’t allowed to like Star Wars. To spite them, I continued to love it.
Those cutters are adorable!
My little brother LOVES Star Wars! He is currently missing his 4 front teeth and says “Corn Troopers” instead of Storm Troopers, but it is the cute. He gets frustrated if you try and correct him though.
Those are awesome! And I know a few little boys that would appreciate some cookies made with them :)
Oh my goodness!!! I love these I have to get some! My 5 year old is obsessed with star wars! He has tons of figures multiple actually and he has a bunch of the spaceships too! He would die for these cookies!!!
My favorite starwars movies are the older ones but my kids love the new ones too because of all the action packed phaser fire. My favorite character is the little creature that always laughs and is near jaba the hut…
my 5 year old son has so many Star Wars figues, i couldn’t even count them! but seriously, he got in to Star Wars because of my hubby. i always tell my hubby that he is living vicariously through our son when it comes to Star Wars. “may the force be with you”!
Oh my goodness, my son would die and go to heaven! In 4th grade, he covered an entire manilla folder with mini Star Wars characters–mostly clone troopers. It was a little OCD. Everyone around here thinks Star Wars is pretty great.
My favorite thing about Star Wars is probably all the parodies of it. It’s a pretty amazing thing when you think about it. Without Star Wars, there would be no Space Balls. And without Space Balls there would be no Barf. And that would be a sad world indeed.
“I’m a Mog: half Man-Half Dog. I’m my own best friend.”
I love, love, LOVE all the Star Wars movies! Please pick me!
I can remember so clearly playing and replaying [for others] the scene where one of the Storm Troopers totally bonks his head as he’s coming through the portal to the flight deck. He hits it so hard he sort of stumbles. We all loved that scene and it inspired us to look for other bloopers that hadn’t been cut.
May the Force be with you…..
Return of the Jedi
It has the cute little Ewoks… life size teddy bears. My husband and brothers would shriek on the comment.
Love the cookie cutters..
These are FANTASTIC!
My girlfriend is a HUGE Star Wars fan. For her last birthday, I made her a stack of geek cupcakes, and one of them was the Rebel Alliance symbol ^_~
My older brother’s favorite movies are the first three (technically, the middle three). I have so many memories of watching Star Wars growing up because of him. He would love these cookies! My brother and his wife even walked into Star Wars music at their wedding reception!
i LOVE princess leah. i’ve even wanted to be her ! she’s my favourite part of star wars :)
WOW these are amazing. My favorites are the Ewoks. You’re absolutely right, they do need 2nd gen. set. These are adorable!
Love these.
I love Yoda the most!!!
Zomg Boba Fett cookies!
My 5 year old son would LOVE cookies made with these cutters! He has become an avid fan over the past year and insists that we read a page from his DK Picture Dictionary about Star Wars every night in addition to his other bedtime story. He recently went on a trip to Disneyland with a family friend and they told me his first stop before going on any rides needed to be at the store to buy his 2 year old brother a light saber so they could play together! We have our 3rd baby due in a week and a half, so I am sure big brother will be anxious to introduce the newest little one to Star Wars too! Love your blog! :)
I was in middle school when they remade the first three movies. My mom was such a fan she took all four of us out of school each time one came out to go and see them during the day. I never had a chance to not be a scifi lover. They are so cute.
So many people want these cookie cutters, Aaaaahhh! I have three brothers who are all obsessed with Star Wars, and I would love to win these and make them some cookies! One of my earliest memories was of going to the drive in with my parents and older brother to see Star Wars.
When I wake up in the morning, I look like Admiral Ackbar. My apartment gets so cold sometimes I fear I may have to tauntaun it to get warm again. R2D2 alerts me every time I get a text message, and I’d really love these cookie cutters! Not to mention my husband would enjoy these, too… :)
Help me Bakerella, you’re my only hope.
my children LOVE Star Wars – these cutters would be perfect.
For Halloween my nephew(6 y/o) dressed up as Luke Skywalker and my sister (mother of nephew) was Princess Lea. They looked awesome together@
Wow, look at those comments. Looks like you struck a chord. I was 12 years old when the first Star Wars movie came out. I went to see it 13 times. And have seen it more now that its on DVD and on TV every weekend. I would love to have those cookie cutters and even if I don’t win them I must buy some. thanks.
My husband and i recently watched all the movies in order! I don’t know which one is my favorite but I know my LEAST favorite is episode 1. eew :P
OMG these I have to get! My son is an abolute NUT over anything Star Wars. His favorite are the clones. He has LEGO Star Wars, the Star Wars action figures, comforter, movies, books you name it. He lives breaths and sleeps it. THe rest of us in the house don’t like it. I was just in Williams & Sonoma Outlet and I didn’t see them.
My Fiance Loves STAR WARS he would be so happy if I made him star wars cookies. The way to his heart is baking :D
I really want these!!!!!!!! He would love love love them!
Thanks for sharing!
Ashley
I love Star Wars, but I can’t stand the new movies. Also, last summer I visited a giant exhibition with Star Wars props. I didn’t get to see Chewie though, because he had been burned by the display lights and had to go away for repairs.
My older brother has been a fan of Star Wars always. He has a stash of figurines somewhere, and even Star War bedsheets.
It has been fun to watch my nephews discover Star Wars, I need to make some of these cookies for the Star Wars men of my life :)
Even though I grew up during the height of Star Wars mania, I never knew what the fuss was about. Now that I have three sons, I know all six movies backwards and forwards (but I draw the line at the silly Clone Wars cartoons).
This year, for my son’s birthday party, we did a Jedi training camp. Had so much fun making homemade light sabers and then letting them try to defend themselves from the nerf darts we shot at them. Love Star Wars!
