My daughter didn’t like her brother’s name when he was born, (Phillip) so she decided to call him, ‘Chip the Cup’ – that was 17 years ago – today we dropped, ‘the cup’ and just call him, Chip.

One of my favorite Disney movies of all time. The old movies are so much better than the new ones that are coming out now… traditional animation for the win! I think my favorite character is Cogsworth. He’s so funny! I love the part where he’s giving Belle the tour of the castle and she slips away and he’s still talking… If it’s not Baroque, don’t fix it! So funny. And how Lumier teases him all the time, and he get’s all tied up over it. But he’s got a good heart, like when the villagers are coming to storm the castle and he’s dressed up as Napoleon. Oh my gosh! Hillarious! ….ahh, good time, I think I’ll watch it again tonight…

Growing up as one of three sisters we all had our disney princesses. I was Bell my older sister Jazmin and my younger one was Snow White. I am now grown up and engaged to my prince. it was not till about 5 months ago that my mother and I realized that the beast in prince form had red hair. My betrothed is a red head and when we reslized that fact about the beast we knew it was ment to be forever! We are getting married on 1-1-11. Ready to live our happy ever after. hi bakerella, your cake pops are sooo adorable! just found out about cake pops recently (i know i know, im so late) and been wanting to try my hand at making them…i have a question though: can you really bake a cake in a microwave oven? read somewhere in your website that one of the pop stars baked the cake mix in a microwave. i thought i read it wrong but her how-to video tutorial showed that she really did use the microwave to bake the cake. since you’re the cake pop queen, would you be so kind as to enlighten me on the matter? thanks very much

I have tried and tried and tried to get my coating thin enough to cover my pops but I am failing! I’ve used both wilton’s candy melts and regular chocolate chips but the candy is so thick that when I dip the pops it pulls the cake right off and I can’t get a smooth coat! What am I doing wrong?

Chip is cute sure and probably should be made alongside with the Mrs. Pots pop but Lumiere is definitely the best character in the movie. He is the smoothest french candle stick I have ever seen. And he has a helluva voice. And the way he coordinates the dishes and everyone…absolutely amazing.
It’s so hard to pick just one! Can’t I just say I love them all? :)
These are adorable. My mother collected teapots her entire life and one of them was of this Disney princess. This looks just like her teapot. She recently passed away and we all miss her so very much and seeing these brings joyful tears to my eyes and great memories. I really appreciate your blog and tips, books and I’m gonna have to try these in honor of my mom. Thanks again for sharing!

Mine is Beast. Is it weird that I find him attractive? His personality, I mean. It’s what’s on the inside that counts!
The Beast is my favorite by far! When I was little, my Dad had a huge, full, fluffy beard. I called him my beast, because his bearded face reminded me of Beast in the movie. When I was about 3, we were in church one sunday, and my dad was playing the organ. As soon as I spotted him on the stand I stood up, in the middle of a hymn, pointed at my dad, and shouted, “THERE’S MY BEAST!!!”
