Oh man I remember seeing this in the theatres… My sister and I always tried to remake the beginning scene in our bedroom and our favorite character was Lafou (is that how you spell it). We’d take turns being him or Belle.. and the lady who said “I need six eggs”.. “That’s too expensive!”. Oh yes I could sing you the whole movie… then I lost my mom’s copy in college and have been waiting for it to come out of the vault so I could replace it.

Belle is my favorite hands-down–not just in Beauty and the Beast, but of all the Disney princesses. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies ever. LOVE the Mrs. Potts pops!

I’ve always loved Belle’s wardrobe, especially the scene where she says, “let’s see what I have in my drawers,’ and the moths come out.
I remember seeing this movie when it came out the first time. I was in first grade. I loved it!!! My favorite is definitely Belle, with her nose always in a book. I loved to read at the time (still do!) and I appreciated that she was a smart girl who didn’t throw herself at Gaston.
I just love this movie!! I can sing every song to the total embarrassment of my 4 children!! I think my favorite character is Belle, but I still love the Beast, too. He is the strong but soft protector type and is just so sweet to Belle.

Hands down, Belle was the best character. Beauty and the Beast came out when I was a little girl, and finally, there was a character that I could really relate to! She was a strong, free thinking, and independent girl that didn’t give into the norm. It is one of the few Disney movies that was absolutely perfect in my book.

My daughter and I have been waiting for this movie to come out for a long time. She is 4 so this will be her first time watching the movie. I would love to win a copy because we haven’t bought one yet. My Grandma just got your book signed for me on Monday. My daughter can’t wait to make some cake pops and watch the movie!
I always loved how tender and ‘human’ the Beast was in those small moments like when he told Belle to open her eyes… “Now”.

I was just teling my husband I wanted to get this on bluray! I haven’t seen it in so long and can hardly remember the charachters name, but after reading the other comments it must be Chip (the little tea cup!)

Is it weird if I say Philippe the horse? The movie came out right in the middle of my horse-crazy phase in elementary school, and I loved that Belle was brainy AND pretty AND independent, but I loved the way they animated the horse.

I’d have to say Lumiere! Love anything French! The movie is such a good one. My daughter and I can watch it over and over.
My 3 year old LOVES the Beast. But she always gets confused when he turns back into a man…every time it happens, she goes, “What happened to the Beast, Mommy??” I think she likes him better as a beast.

BELLE! Because she is so beautiful!! This is my favorite Disney movie of all time…
Belle is my favorite…probably because I’m jealous… of her library… I love that Disney made a princess who has a brain. She’s got her head on straight (with all that reading how could she not?) and doesn’t need that horrible Gaston to make her happy, and plus she looks at the inner beauty of the Beast!
Also, she’s very nice to animals like horses and barking footstools. Plus she’s got great fashion (perhaps because of a talking, thinking wardrobe who can help her out) and her gold dress at the end is just beautiful.
Oh and one last thing, (and most importantly) SHE LOVES TO EAT! There’s a whole song and dance dedicated to it. How could you not just love this girl?

My favorite characters were the 2 bar wenches that always sighed and fluttered around Gaston. Strange, I know, but I just always liked them. I hated the bar fight scene, since as I sat in the theater, I watched a room full of little boys get off their chairs and start punching the air during it. And I hated the back-stabbing at the end. So this has never been one of my favorite movies, sadly
Those are amazing! I love Mrs. Potts. I think it has more to do with Angela Lansbury and how incredible she is!
I like them especially the beast. We all have a beast heart, and we can all be very mean which can make us a beast even if we don’t look like one.
