Earlier this year I posted a cute candy button display that my friend Julie made following a tutorial on a website called Bake it Pretty. And even though I had heard of and seen their site, I had not really looked around it all that much… until recently.

… like these superty-duperty cute baking cups.
They sell lots of fun designs you probably won’t find in your local craft or grocery store…
… unless you can read this.
or know where to find these.
If you visit them, you might be tempted by shiny things.
Or these. I was forced to buy them in several colors…
… and sizes.
The website made me do it. I promise. I mean if I just bought one color, which one?
Red? Of course, but what about black? How often do you come across black gingham print baking cups? Or orange? Or blue?
You know… I didn’t even need any more baking cups. Like for the next couple of years … I’m good.
But, then there’s these. I mean how cute can you get?
It’s funny – right before I found them I was wanting to make some popcorn bucket cupcakes, but figured I would have to make my own wrappers because I knew I would never find any with stripes. So instead I made these flat brownie popcorn bags. Then, right after making them, voila – perfect little cups.
And now, I can’t bring myself to even bake in them. They’re so cute I don’t want to be without them. I just want to look at them. Is that weird?
Don’t answer that.
And the cute little poem doesn’t hurt either.
More baking cups. These, like the striped ones stand up on their own. You can place them right on a baking sheet and go.
However, I haven’t used these yet either. I have a problem.
I worked my way through all the sections of the site and couldn’t leave without having these tapes and twine in my life.
And look at these cute little twist ties in pink, purple and tiny hearts.
Adorable.
But they don’t hold a candle to these…
Dying over here. Plus, they’re kinda perfect for packaging cake pops.
You can even make your drinks look cute. Love these straws.

Pens…I’m a pen snob. I cannot walk into an office store without coming home with 3 or 4 different pens to try out. My current obsession is the Sharpie Pen…black, blue, purple, orange, green and red…love them!! I have hundreds of pens around my house but when a new one comes out I can’t help myself! :-)
I am a sucker for all things orange or black. It is our school colors and since I am the “official cake pop” team mom for 4 different teams it is a tailgate everyday of the week, so….orange and black cupcake papers, twist ties, and sprinkles. Not to mention clothes, shoes, hair ties, jewelry…..do you get the picture?
Cookbooks and craft books – always. Even if I don’t make or bake anything in them, just looking at the pictures and understanding how to make them makes me happy.

I love all that stuff. Makes me wish I was a super baker, instead of a novice! I can’t stop buying baking tools and scrapbook paper. I have so much paper that I will never use it all, and baking tools that I hope to start using more than 1x per year for my daughter’s birthday!
A sizzix big shot machine is my latest addiction! I keep buying things for it and i have not even taken it out of the package yet! but when i do get it out I will have everything i need, plus some!

I can’t help buying books. BOOKS! How dorky is that?? I literally have 8 bookcases in my house and they are filled. I’ve had to avoid bookstores like the plague . . . if I go in a bookstore, I’m going to buy a book, no doubt about it! And it’s even worse now that I have two daughters – I can ALWAYS justify buying them more books (it’s educational!).

I have been taking cake decorating classes, so lately I haven’t been able to stop myself from buying decorating supplies. Last week I drove an hour and a half to check out a baking supply store. I’m running out of places to store everything! I also have a book-buying problem. I am a bit of a bookworm, and it seems I am at the bookstore at least once a week. Also running out of bookshelf space!
I get on kicks – nailpolish, pens, hair products, etc. Whatever kick I’m on is the thing I can’t avoid!
What a fun shop!! Since I’m not a big baker, I’d definitely go for the twine and tape. they’d be great on my rubberstamped cards! But those twisty ties are just almost impossible to ignore. I’m sure I could make something out of them!!

Love those…and the baking cups that are greaseproof, like the gingham ones you have shown, I think, are amazing. They hold up to baking like no other paper I’ve used. I have a huge problem with books. I read some, give some away, collect many. Especially cookbooks! The cupcake papers would inspire me to stop looking at pictures in cookbooks and actually bake!

I can’t stop buying cake decorating tools and supplies. There’s always something I might “need” some day lolololoL My kitchen is getting smaller and smaller. My husband built a furniture for me to put in everything, but it’s getting smaller either :P
I like crafty stuff and crafty magazines that have great ideas. I totally love Family Fun and will let my kids make almost anything from it, you should have seen Valentine’s Day around here, I had craft stuff from one end of the table to the other. SO my def weakness is craft stuff (broad, i know, but we are willing to try anything around here),

I love Bake it Pretty too! Hobby Lobby always kills me. I never use half the stuff but I’m pretty sure I just have to have it when I see it. That and coffee. Especially if there is a Starbucks. I’m done.

I can’t stop buying measuring cups.. crazy i know.. i just love finding cute sets of measuring cups… in all different colours and shapes! Growing up we always had these duck measuring cups.., never have i found them but i am definitely making up for it by finding loads of others!

I can’t stop buying anything on sale. I am just drawn to the clearance section of places. I also buy a lot of baking things not on sale. Pans, cookie cutters, sprinkles, icing, and the list goes on and on.
Cute greetings cards. The problem is I’ll buy them for a special occasion like someone’s birthday or graduation, but by the time the occasion comes around, I have 3 or 4 perfect cards!
Ok, I have been to the Bake It Pretty website at least once a week since you have posted it and there are so many things that I want to buy. (The stand alone liners, cupcake papers, hard candy mix, hard candy molds and so much more…..) I can’t stop myself from buying any fun baking stuff. I have a whole closet in the hall way filled and keep going. My sons birthday is May 31 and I am looking for stuff for the party. On her site I have found a lot of stuff!!!

Silly as it sounds I can’t stop buying different icing colorings. I mean, I know I just have to add LESS red to get pink…or red and blue to get purple…but I can’t help it. Neon, classic, dark, pastel…in spray form…I love things to color icing with.
Cloth diapers. I don’t buy lots, but if I had the money, I’d buy more. The colours are so cute! Oh, and I keep getting kids craft stuff, even though we already have a bunch of craft stuff :)
For baking stuff, I’d buy more sprinkles. All different kinds, as well as cute muffin cups.
Chocolate. Any kind of chocolate.
And, bags and purses and the like. When I see it, and its pretty, I MUST have it!
I’m very weak for nail polish, especially China Glaze. Every time I visit a beauty store I go straight for the China Glaze display xD I’m also pretty good at wasting money on shoes.
In any case, I can translate that recipe on the bottom of the muffin packaging, I’m from Sweden, y’see xD SO I can translate if you wish. It’s a recipe for plum muffins :3

Oh my, that site is just delicious! You won’t believe this, but I can’t stop buying cake pans,!!! If I spot a new one, I just have to buy it. I especially love all those cute little individual serving type pans. And then of couse I have to have serving papers, ie cupckae liners. They are so versatile and make the cutest cups for those little cakes. Would love te opportunity to buy more. LOL

Recently, my addiction lies with Mexican coca cola. You know the stuff with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup!!!! But other than that it’s any kind of baking supply. Pans, cupcake liners, cookie cutters, rolling pins, etc…
