Earlier this year I posted a cute candy button display that my friend Julie made following a tutorial on a website called Bake it Pretty. And even though I had heard of and seen their site, I had not really looked around it all that much… until recently.

… like these superty-duperty cute baking cups.
They sell lots of fun designs you probably won’t find in your local craft or grocery store…
… unless you can read this.
or know where to find these.
If you visit them, you might be tempted by shiny things.
Or these. I was forced to buy them in several colors…
… and sizes.
The website made me do it. I promise. I mean if I just bought one color, which one?
Red? Of course, but what about black? How often do you come across black gingham print baking cups? Or orange? Or blue?
You know… I didn’t even need any more baking cups. Like for the next couple of years … I’m good.
But, then there’s these. I mean how cute can you get?
It’s funny – right before I found them I was wanting to make some popcorn bucket cupcakes, but figured I would have to make my own wrappers because I knew I would never find any with stripes. So instead I made these flat brownie popcorn bags. Then, right after making them, voila – perfect little cups.
And now, I can’t bring myself to even bake in them. They’re so cute I don’t want to be without them. I just want to look at them. Is that weird?
Don’t answer that.
And the cute little poem doesn’t hurt either.
More baking cups. These, like the striped ones stand up on their own. You can place them right on a baking sheet and go.
However, I haven’t used these yet either. I have a problem.
I worked my way through all the sections of the site and couldn’t leave without having these tapes and twine in my life.
And look at these cute little twist ties in pink, purple and tiny hearts.
Adorable.
But they don’t hold a candle to these…
Dying over here. Plus, they’re kinda perfect for packaging cake pops.
You can even make your drinks look cute. Love these straws.

I absolutely love love love bakeitpretty! I am expecting to buy a whole slew of items for my diy candy buffet at my wedding! I think my absolute favorite thing on there is the Stay Bright baking cups in the polka dot. I’ve always hated that no matter how cute your cups are, you can always see that yummy chocolate cake through them and not the design! Nevermore with these cups!

15 Cupcakes with plums:
Whip 100 g melted, cooled butter with 2 dl brown sugar. Add 2 eggs during whipping. Add 1,5 dl creme fraiche and 3,5 dl wheat flour mixed with 1 teaspoon cardamon and 2 teaspoons baking powder. Split, seed and cut up in small pieces. Mix all the ingridents. Divide in the baking cups. Sprinkle with pearl sugar. Bake in the owen in 225 celcius degrees in ca 12 minutes.

I am obessed with buying cupcake, sweet related rubber stamps. I currently love making handmade cards that reflect my passion for baking. So anything sweet goes! I love it!!! Plus my kids have fun stamping on paper and making a ink of a mess.

I can’t stop myself from buying royal blue, silve or white items, mostly candy. Those are my daughter’s school colors. I am always thinking of ideas for my daughter’s cheer banquets or gymnastics or teacher gifts. Wether it be ribbon, candy, boxes cellophane, I am always brainstorming and buy when I see them so I don’t miss out! Lately I have been making blue and white peppermint flavored popcorn and am in search of old movie style popcorn boxes in a plain white so that I can personalize.:) I love this website and am anxious to try the cheesecake pops today for a gymnastics dinner tomorrow. Oh My Goodness! I’m in love with this website…Yours and Bake It Pretty. I’m addicted! What can’t I stop buying? Depends on who you ask-if you ask my husband the answer would be everything! I can’t buy enough bags. I am a bag lady. They don’t have to be designer, but I like a good bag for a good price. And how many diaper bags does one mom need? I have 4. But I use them all! The bag I use depends on my need. I never have to change stuff from one to another. I travel lightly with a wristlet that holds everything. So, why do I need bags??? hmmm….

I’m organizing a Serve The World Bake Sale on May 15th. The event is at 6 different locations around the community with 50 different volunteers! All of the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, Foster Care, The Abba House (a women’s rehab center), Military Care packages (for the deployed), and financial assistance to hurting families within our community! All that to say, say a prayer for the event please and…. we’d love to have super cute packaging supplies :)

I *just* ordered pink and green baking cups from another site for a bridal shower I’m hosting, and now you show me these pink peacock cups that are unbelievably perfect. Now I have to find out if they can get to me in time!
I cannot stop myself from buying a scoop of gelato every time the gelato man comes by. We’re stationed in Germany with the military right now, and every time I hear the *bzzzz* I MUST go outside. I MUST have strawberry gelato. My husband and I were out there so much last summer, that this year when the gelato man started coming, he told me how much he missed me and asked where my husband was. Even now, I’m sitting here, patiently (checking out the window every five minutes instead of two is patient, right?) waiting for the *bzzzz*.

Everything on there is super adorable! I know if I win, I will be spending way more than the gift card. But that’s okay because i will have so much fun using the products.
My uncontrollable urge is baking/cooking gadgets….although I have a “written in sand” rule about uni-tasker gadgets. My current focus is cookie cutters, and the like; although last month is was sprinkles all shapes and sizes. One of these days I will cross “new kitchen with tons of storage” off my list. :)

Fruit! Isn’t that silly. My kids love fruit (and I’m not complaining) and they think it’s a great treat to get to pick pineapple, pomegranates, and those cutie oranges that are around all winter. Farmer’s market season is right around the corner! I give in whenever they beg since I know they’ll eat it and it’s good for them. Needless to say I like to add fruit into whatever I’m baking-apples in cookies, berries in muffins, breads, and cakes, applesauce in brownies… Mmmm. Thanks for the chance to win.
Cookbooks. I have a massive collection and I vow that someday I’m going to make everything in them!
Also those little $1 clear stamp packages in craft stores. I have so many of those! I always try to pick out new and different ones when I dig through that bin, but lately I have been coming home to find that I have duplicates. WOOPS! The manufacturers of those things can’t keep up with me!!
Books. I love books. Books about traveling, books about history, cookbooks, mysteries, even if it just has a pretty cover.
I love all of the cooking stuff—especially the muffin/cupcake liners…the one in red with the children’s parade is so beautiful. I also wanted the bird whistles for my son’s end of the year school party. You add water and they chirp just like a bird!
I cannot stop buying linen napkins and crystal goblets. I have hundreds of napkins in all sizes with lace, tatted, embroidered, and when I see them it is extremely difficult to keep my credit card from flying out of my handbag!
I so want the Pink Elizabeth designer baking cups. Those are my favorite. I love this site.

I can’t stop myself from buying nail polish. It’s random but a total addiction! I must have 25 different shades of pink and, like a moth to a flame, I always veer down the makeup aisle at Target and load up on more!

OMG, All of the baking cups, especially the folded paper, and the cotton candy polka dot party cups, all of the flavors. The chocolate molds, fleur-di-lis, edible glitter, and the sweet candy cutter cookie cutter. The candy, especially the hard candy and the strawberry shortcake taffy. But why is everything sold out? When will there be more to buy?
