Earlier this year I posted a cute candy button display that my friend Julie made following a tutorial on a website called Bake it Pretty. And even though I had heard of and seen their site, I had not really looked around it all that much… until recently.
**Warning… enter their site at your own risk or else you might just leave it with a whole bunch of stuff you didn’t know you had to have…
… like these superty-duperty cute baking cups.
They sell lots of fun designs you probably won’t find in your local craft or grocery store…
… unless you can read this.
or know where to find these.
If you visit them, you might be tempted by shiny things.
Or these. I was forced to buy them in several colors…
… and sizes.
The website made me do it. I promise. I mean if I just bought one color, which one?
Red? Of course, but what about black? How often do you come across black gingham print baking cups? Or orange? Or blue?
You know… I didn’t even need any more baking cups. Like for the next couple of years … I’m good.
But, then there’s these. I mean how cute can you get?
It’s funny – right before I found them I was wanting to make some popcorn bucket cupcakes, but figured I would have to make my own wrappers because I knew I would never find any with stripes. So instead I made these flat brownie popcorn bags. Then, right after making them, voila – perfect little cups.
And now, I can’t bring myself to even bake in them. They’re so cute I don’t want to be without them. I just want to look at them. Is that weird?
Don’t answer that.
And the cute little poem doesn’t hurt either.
More baking cups. These, like the striped ones stand up on their own. You can place them right on a baking sheet and go.
However, I haven’t used these yet either. I have a problem.
I worked my way through all the sections of the site and couldn’t leave without having these tapes and twine in my life.
And look at these cute little twist ties in pink, purple and tiny hearts.
Adorable.
But they don’t hold a candle to these…
Dying over here. Plus, they’re kinda perfect for packaging cake pops.
You can even make your drinks look cute. Love these straws.

I am so glad that I found your site. All of these deocrations are darling. My daughter loves to help me bake and decorate. It all began with her “dragon” birthday cake last year. It turned out very interesting, with cup holding up the head. It was my first time with fondant. We had fun though and that is what matters!!!

the mysterious text on the bottom of the muffin cups is Swedish (i hope i didn’t miss-typed anything now):
plum-muffins, 15portions
Preheat an oven to: or 437 degrees F (225 degrees C)
100g butter (~ 3.5oz)
2 dl brown sugar (~ 1/2cup + 5,5 tablespoons)
2 eggs
1 1/2 dl crème fraiche (~0,5cup + 3 Table spoon)
3 1/2 dl flour (~1 1/2 cup)
1 Teaspoon cardamom
2 Teaspoon baking powder
2 fresh plums (cored and chopped)
pearl sugar/nib sugar (could use sprinkles)
Directions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and cardamom); add to creamed mixture alternately with crème fraiche. Slice, core and chop 2 plums and stir this in to the batter.
Divide batter to muffin cups and sprinkle pearl sugar on top. Bake at 225 degrees C or 437 degrees F for 12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

I can’t stop buying stuff for my children! No matter where we are I always seem to be purchasing them toys, clothes, books etc! My daughter and I love to buy baking items too! She loves looking through the cook books and pointing out the goodies that she wants to help me make! We buy tons of sprinkles, candy melts, and cute cupcake liners! We make tons of Cakepops too :) Iam super excited about the Bake It Pretty site!
The CakeWich cutter was pretty cute but my heart stopped when I saw your popcorn cupcake wrappers. I am a huge sucker for red and white!
the tartan baking cups just melted my heart … and let’s not even mention about how i’ve even been dreaming about button moulds !
i think i would go crazy with the baking cups! i’ve never seen cuter ones! i would also choose some decorating items especially all those pretty flowers. those cupcake kits are irresistible too!
I keep shopping for cross-stitch kits. Even though I have years’ worth to do already. I’m obsessed.

Blueberries at Costco! Anytime I go and they have their 2-pound package of blueberries, I can’t not buy them. It’s just SUCH a good deal and they are one of my very favorite foods.
wow what eye candy!!! I can’t help loving cupcake baking cups especially those popcorn ones! Lately I cannot help myself from buying pretty spring dresses! I am beginning to shy away from jeans! eeek!

Oh geez! I’m going to go to the site, but I know I’ll regret it and my hubby will smack me. LOL I can’t stand not buying anything cute and miniature.
Normally I have issues with crafting items (fabric, yarn, beads, scrapbook paper) but lately it is foreign foods & spices. I’m a sucker for a pretty bag of tumeric, or pretty star anise. The red lentils and masoor gota are almost too pretty to cook & eat. :o)

Accessories. I can’t help myself when there is a super cute pair of shoes or bag. And scrapbook stuff. I have thousands of stuff, but rarely get the chance to actually scrapbook, and yet I continually buy it.
Cupcake liners! Just give me a reason to make cupcakes.

When I went to the Bake it Pretty site I wanted to buy everything also – I do have a store that I can get quite a few of the items you purchased and I go nuts buying all kinds of baking supplies so I have had for a long time and don’t know when I will ever use them!
OMG soo cute. Of course I want everything but I really really want the best ever cupcake icing kit. I’m pretty new not to baking but to decorating all fancy like and this would be amazing. I bought a little kit at michaels but it is no where near as cool as this. Once I have the kit then I can go crazy with decorative cups and edible glitter yum!

I LOVE Bake It Pretty! I’ve bought cute polka dot cupcake papers and lots of sprinkles from their site and believe me, I could buy a whole lot more! Right now, I have my eye on the striped cupcake papers and the striped straws…..both would be perfect for my two son’s joint circus birthday party that I’m planning.
Books…it is bad enough that a friend usually has to confiscate my wallet whenever we go into a bookstore

I have this issue with yarn. I love to knit, but I always buy more and more and MORE yarn, even though I could never knit it all. There are so many wonderful colors and textures!! I also tend to stock up on scrapbooking supplies, promising myself that I will *one day* use all of them to scrapbook all of my roller derby adventures!
