Earlier this year I posted a cute candy button display that my friend Julie made following a tutorial on a website called Bake it Pretty. And even though I had heard of and seen their site, I had not really looked around it all that much… until recently.

… like these superty-duperty cute baking cups.
They sell lots of fun designs you probably won’t find in your local craft or grocery store…
… unless you can read this.

If you visit them, you might be tempted by shiny things.
Or these. I was forced to buy them in several colors…
… and sizes.
The website made me do it. I promise. I mean if I just bought one color, which one?
Red? Of course, but what about black? How often do you come across black gingham print baking cups? Or orange? Or blue?
You know… I didn’t even need any more baking cups. Like for the next couple of years … I’m good.
But, then there’s these. I mean how cute can you get?
It’s funny – right before I found them I was wanting to make some popcorn bucket cupcakes, but figured I would have to make my own wrappers because I knew I would never find any with stripes. So instead I made these flat brownie popcorn bags. Then, right after making them, voila – perfect little cups.
And now, I can’t bring myself to even bake in them. They’re so cute I don’t want to be without them. I just want to look at them. Is that weird?
Don’t answer that.
And the cute little poem doesn’t hurt either.
More baking cups. These, like the striped ones stand up on their own. You can place them right on a baking sheet and go.
However, I haven’t used these yet either. I have a problem.
I worked my way through all the sections of the site and couldn’t leave without having these tapes and twine in my life.
And look at these cute little twist ties in pink, purple and tiny hearts.
Adorable.
But they don’t hold a candle to these…
Dying over here. Plus, they’re kinda perfect for packaging cake pops.

I love the plaid cupcake baking liners because I’m obsessed with plaid and cupcakes and the combination of the two would just be amazing! I also love the folded paper baking cups, they’re so pretty and look like origami. I’m not quite sure what cupcakes I’d put in them yet, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to think up a couple of cupcakes that would look absolutely fabulous in them!
I love absolutely anything that is baking, cooking or creating…I just keep telling myself…just one more thing and it’s such a deal. Love your stuff Bakerella! Your creativity is incredible!

Wow, I love cupcake wrappers. But what I really cannot stop myself from buying is magazine subscriptions. Amazon had a $5 sale and the next thing I know I have ten magazines every month. Definitely a compulsion!
These are so cute, everything you listed is cute. I can’t stop buying cookie cutters, although I haven’t made cookies yet, I end up using them to cut my daughters sandwiches into cute shapes.
I love buying things for baking and crafting. Right now i’m buying sequence, ribbon, and lots of fondant. I have completely fallen for the magical properties of fondant.

Cupcake liners!!! I’m known at my daughter’s school for bringing in creative cupcakes, so of course I have to have a nice liner. I love the dark solid ones you can’t see through – they stand out and the kids love them!!!
I can’t help but buy baking supplies! My baking cupboard and tin cupboard are bursting at the seams with stuff! Whenever I go to the supermarket I have to buy something to bake with! Earlier today I went to the supermarket to get some bacon, I left with bacon and white chocolate chips…and frozen berries…and flour…and sugar! I only needed bacon!

Journals and notebooks. I’m such a sucker for them! I tell my self I need separate ones for my recipes and my notes and who knows what else, but I just end up printing things out on the computer and hole-punching it into a binder.

Bakeitpretty.com is seriously my new obsession – ever since I saw your link for the cute candy buttons awhile back. I adore everything on their site and must hide my wallet from myself so as not to go into debt over baking cups that I won’t use (because they’re just too cute) …
I am addicted to buying hair products (although looking at my hair, you wouldn’t know it) I have bought so many things and tested so many that I could probably open up a beauty supply store.
As far as baking though, I love all of these things. But right now, I can’t stop myself from buying sprinkles- all things sprinkles!! I just bought a stand mixer and this gift card would give me the perfect excuse to try it out!

I cannot stop myself from buying notebooks. I LOVE notebooks! I have about fifteen sitting around me at any given time, with different patterns on the covers or just those plain old spiral notebooks I used to bring to school back in the day that cost 20 cents. I just can’t help myself! You never know when you might need to write something really important after all.

How do you find all these amazing websites and blogs. I’m practically drooling looking at everything. I would have to say my favorite and what I would love to buy would be the hard candy molds. We did the candy molds growing up and I absolutely loved them, what a special memory. It even says you can use melted crayons, how fun would that be! Oh and those chocolate molds would be quite delightful too. Oh the things you could create

so i just recently started baking…and it seems to be the greatest thing i could have ever started….its pretty cool because i also love to draw and the combination of both is great. i am a beginner though so i havent had much practice with many things so the things i really loved from this website was first of all the food coloring and decorating stuff because its something im the most used to from drawing, after that its the cool “manly” cupcake cups….like the pirate ones..hahah they’re really funny looking. then finally i also loved the bread baking cups that are shaped like squares and stars. ohh yea and the final final last thing was the cookie cutter sets, my mom really loves cookies and making them in nice forms is a + for her..

I’m addicted to buying scarves, fabric and funky shoes. Oh, and it’s not a “buy” but when I go somewhere for paint samples for a painting project, I walk out with a big handful of colors just because they’re pretty to look at.

I have an obsession with cake pans. I already own an ice cream cone pan, shortcake pan, mini cupcake pans (love anything mini), the Giant cupcake pan (ya know the one that makes a really big cupcake, like cake size?), and try desperately to keep from buying more. I don’t have kids of my own yet and have really no reason to own all these pans or to ever make them but alas, I do and want more. Bake it Pretty has this ridiculously amazing cake pan that looks like a sandwhich! Adorable : ) I sorta of need that pan, again not sure for what but like I said…obsessed!!!

I definitely NEED that button candy mold. For special occasions and holidays growing up my mom would make molded chocolates and mints. I have fun memories of “helping” her as a child (what incredible patience she had!). She is a seamstress and would just go crazy over those buttons! I would love to surprise her by making some chocolates just for her.
I’m pretty much an extremist ….. Once I start – hide my credit/debit card ’cause I won’t stop until it comes back “DECLINED” … :0/ It’s awful, I know, but at the same time you can’t put a price on what makes you happy, right? (At least that’s what I tell the hubs as he’s looking at the receipt)

Cookbooks and childrens books. I have a very difficult time passing by a cookbook or childrens book without wanting to buy it. I am running out of shelf space. :-p

O MY GOODNESS, That is some cute stuff, I would have to start with the cookie boxes in brown, and the candy bags with the window to view your goodies, and the star loaf pans, and the pasiley cupcake papers, and the list goes on. O yeah is it not the funniest I remember chewing the gums smokes with I was little, and now if that was sold in a store by someone, they would probley do some time in the local jail.

I used to have to have bears and baskets, lately though it’s Fabric – gingham, prints, solids, and pique, and cute little baby patterns to make for our grandgirl, or cute dishes, or lace, or trims, or ribbon,……and more patterns because she’s outgrown the smaller sizes…. the list goes on.
I have a serious problem with tea (loose, in bags, black, green, herbal – it doesn’t matter). I can’t stop myself. Luckily, I can get it in bulk and buy little sachets of it instead of large boxes.
I love all things cake/cupcake related! When I walk down the “cake” aisle in the crafts store I can’t keep from buying something to add to my collection! Anything from paper liners to fun sprinkles or “cool tools”!
That is the cutest website! My obsession: scrapbooking supplies. I don’t even really scrapbook anymore! I do digital scrapping so I don’t need supplies. Oh and fancy cupcakes at fancy bakeries…have to buy those. Actually I’m pretty good at not buying stuff unless it is pretty junk food :)
