Earlier this year I posted a cute candy button display that my friend Julie made following a tutorial on a website called Bake it Pretty. And even though I had heard of and seen their site, I had not really looked around it all that much… until recently.
**Warning… enter their site at your own risk or else you might just leave it with a whole bunch of stuff you didn’t know you had to have…
… like these superty-duperty cute baking cups.
They sell lots of fun designs you probably won’t find in your local craft or grocery store…
… unless you can read this.
or know where to find these.
If you visit them, you might be tempted by shiny things.
Or these. I was forced to buy them in several colors…
… and sizes.
The website made me do it. I promise. I mean if I just bought one color, which one?
Red? Of course, but what about black? How often do you come across black gingham print baking cups? Or orange? Or blue?
You know… I didn’t even need any more baking cups. Like for the next couple of years … I’m good.
But, then there’s these. I mean how cute can you get?
It’s funny – right before I found them I was wanting to make some popcorn bucket cupcakes, but figured I would have to make my own wrappers because I knew I would never find any with stripes. So instead I made these flat brownie popcorn bags. Then, right after making them, voila – perfect little cups.
And now, I can’t bring myself to even bake in them. They’re so cute I don’t want to be without them. I just want to look at them. Is that weird?
Don’t answer that.
And the cute little poem doesn’t hurt either.
More baking cups. These, like the striped ones stand up on their own. You can place them right on a baking sheet and go.
However, I haven’t used these yet either. I have a problem.
I worked my way through all the sections of the site and couldn’t leave without having these tapes and twine in my life.
And look at these cute little twist ties in pink, purple and tiny hearts.
Adorable.
But they don’t hold a candle to these…
Dying over here. Plus, they’re kinda perfect for packaging cake pops.
You can even make your drinks look cute. Love these straws.
If you want to see them in action, check out how good they look with Tartelette’s ice cream sandwiches. Not that her pictures aren’t already perfection.
And look, a button mold.
I had to have one of these, too. You know – just in case I ever want to make my own candy button display like this one.
P.S. – I may or may not have also purchased these not exactly kid friendly candies. But, if I did – the website made me do that, too.
Want to pick out your own stuff?
Want me to foot the bill?
Okay, you talked me into it.

OMG totally in love with scrapbooking. I love, love, love buying printed paper and 3-dimensional embellishments. Thanks for the giveaway. Super cool. : P
I look for fresh ingredients for anything I have on my menu…I quit using dinners from a box or bag a L-O-N-G time ago; they may be cheap but their nutritional value sucks.
But my true budget busters are as follows & in no particular order:
Books! Books! & More Books…going in a bookstore is dangerous…a true budget buster, but they’re calling my name!, a good fitting pair of pants (know where I can find some), and fabric…I never know when I may need that print!
I can’t seem to stop buying gadgets. Tell me it will make my life easier and I’m on board. Doesn’t matter if it’s for the kitchen, garden, etc. The only place I’m immune is in the tech/electronics arena because prices tend to be much higher than say, a fancy garlic press.
I cannot stop myself from buying shoes, I love them I want a new pair every week(my hubby wont let me buy them that often) but I love shoes so much.
I also would love to go to William Sonoma and buy every cute pan, griddle, deep fryer, kitchenaid attachment and whatever else I fall in love with just looking I love cooking so I would love to have every gadget possible
I can’t help myself from buying cute stationary and anything snail mail related. It’s a bad obsession….
I can’t stop buying types of flour! Strange, but I have been on a flour kick! I just have to see what it does to recipes. Right now I am trying to find the perfect flour (or combination of several) to make my #1 chocolate chip cookie.
I Love to shop at Bake it Pretty. LAst shop there I bought a bunch of interesting cookie cutters for a friend’s birthday.
As for shopping in general, I am a fabric junkie. I sew a lot of toddler clothes for both gifts and to sell so I am can never leave a fabric shop without at least a few ‘finds”. I just bought a bunch of adorable stuff for a trunk sale I am planning in the Fall.
I have to mention that I made the Mickey/Minnie silhouette pops for my 6 year old godchild’s birthday party yesterday. They were a huge hit and so adorable.
Baking stuff. Hands down. Discovered a baking supply shop about 40 minutes from my house fairly recently. I’m glad it isn’t any closer. But this website?! It could get ugly. I will TRY and wait to see if I win first before I splurge. But I already have a cart full. *wink, wink* Fingers are crossed.
Books and clothes. I have a problem!
I have to buy candles wherever I go.. not that I dont already have 100 at the house.. I just cant pass them up.. ever…
One thing? Nope. I hoard cookbooks. And colanders. And kitchen gadgets. Cutting boards. Knives. Cookie sheets. It’s a small problem!!!
I am always buying something with chocolate…brownies, ice cream, cookies, candy, etc. One can never have too much chocolate! It is my only daily indulgence.
I cannot resist those baking cups. Every time I see a cute muffin cup in the grocery store, I must have them. And now you have sent me over the edge with this website, I will definately end up with some stuff that the website made me buy!
Oh my gosh….they are all so cute! I don’t think I could bring my self to back in them either, just make a cute display on my counter so I could look at them all the time. Okay, maybe I could make cupcakes in them, maybe.

French fries. Everywhere I go, I must have them.
I have thing with eggs.I always think I’m out or running low, so I buy them. Then I get home and remember I was running low last week. And since then I’ve bought three dozen to replace them. Maybe I need to make a list.
Anyway, thank you for hosting this great giveaway and for the opportunity to play along.
Wow. I’d definitely take $50 worth of cupcake wrappers. The designer ones. They are fantastic!
Baking accoutrement and kitchery. Oh, and all those amusing accessories on modcloth.com. And don’t get me started on the 12pm kickoff at gilt.com. DANGER!!!
I just love going out to eat. I can’t help it. I actually really like to cook, but it is so much more convenient and fun to eat out. It’s horrible.
All those products are so cute. They would make anyone’s efforts look great. I’m certainly going to take a look at that site.
i can’t stop buying heels. i mean, c’mon. i’m a woman. it’s in my genes.
I can’t seem to stop buying curling ribbon. I have purchased it in every color imaginable for birthday parties and holidays. I use it for packages, balloons, centerpieces, decorations, crafts, etc. I have a whole rainbow of these brightly-colored spools!
I LOVE to buy sprinkles……all kinds!!!
I would have to buy as many of the cupcake liners as a reasonably sane person could get away with.
My weakness is cookbooks, specifically about baking. or brunch, or mexican food, or indian food, or french food, or anything food related. My other weakness is cake decorating gadgets – silicone molds, cutters, colours, and on and on it goes…
Love these!! I can’t wait to browse their shop!!
I cannot stop myself from buying different lip balms. I have around four near me at all times, it’s getting ridiculous!
Hi, my name is Lauren and I’m a shopping addict.
I love to buy sandals, fun jewelry, children’s books, classroom supplies, clothes, toys for my pup, brightly colored scarves, and anything that I consider to be a fabulous deal.
I would love to go shopping at Bake It Pretty. Adorable, necessary things are just waiting to be bought. :)
Chocolate and other baking ingredients, anything that seems tasty in a dessert (even if I don’t get around to baking for a long time) I am convinced I need it though I don’t know what for.
Coffee. I am obsessed. And anything cake related.
You can never have too many cupcake liners… the ones pictured are SO cute. Loves!
Makeup from Sephora! I always “need” just one more thing!
Too cute! I will have to wait until my kids are napping and I can give my full attention to checking out their site! I’ve got a daughter’s birthday coming up and the timing is perfect! I can’t stop buying kids’ birthday cake cookbooks. I know you can find the same information on-line, but I love having the books!
I have to exercise serious self restraint to not buy everything from Bake it Pretty! I’ve really been wanting to get some chocolate brown baking cups to use for baking chocolate cupcakes.
I love this website! I have placed several orders thus far! I can’t get enough of the cupcake wrappers and fun sprinkles!
How cute are those liners?!?!?! I can’t help buying different sprinkles for cupcakes! Who doesn’t love little bunnies on their cupcakes?
Oh and hair bows for my daughter…..I just love a little bow in her fingerwave hair!
Cutesy old stuff gets me…lately it has been chalkware and planters but luckily these kind of things aren’t found everywhere :O)
Thanks so much for the opportunity!
I can’t stop buying Ben & Jerry’s ice cream every few days. At least I make it last more than one serving =)
You have become my baking enabler…any excuse to buy something cute to bake with. I have a serious cookie cutter addiction…and I too collect cupcake wrappers and baking cups that are hard to part with. It only becomes a problem when I run out of (hiding)storage space :-)
DVDs and anything from Sufas in Culver City. Whenever I go into Target or Surfas.. I always leave with a DVD or some sort of kitchen tool.

Cupcake wrappers and things used for beautiful presentation in gift giving of homemade goodies are my weakness!

Those are the most adorable baking cups I’ve ever seen. I want them all!
Personally, I can’t stop buying scarves. Too bad I live in Houston!
I JUST cleaned out my cupboards and my pantry so now I have PLENTY of room for all of those goodies! Oh my, I can’t handle the colors and patterns! My downfall would be anything with a Peanuts Snoopy character on it…or any of the characters for that matter. My dad started buying me Snoopy collectibles when I was two…and thanks to Hallmark, I know have a complete Christmas tree full of Peanuts ornaments.
This sounds strange, I know, but I can’t stop myself from buying popcorn, even though I know I already have plenty at home. Especially if it’s on sale.
Also, shoes–when I find a pair I like, there’s almost nothing that can be done to convince me to leave them in the store!
Jelly beans in spring time! And running clothes, to offset the jelly beans/cakes/cupcakes/chocolate thing.
I’m ridiculously addicted to bargain books sections. Pretty much anytime I look I buy books. It’s simply awful, my lack of control!
Yankee Candles! I love the food scents. If I’m not at a time where I am able to bake, at least I can light a candle. Thanks for hosting a giveaway.
I think these are stellar! And I’m scared to go to that website now that I know the dangers. :)
Soooo cute!!! I LOVE the little popcorn cupcake cups. Anything miniature makes me crazy! =p
Hum… the only thing I would even think I’d be addicted to buying would be sock yarn. Can’t go in a yarn store and not buy some. Moral of the story – don’t go yan shoppin (too often anyway).
Anything sparkly and fun! Crafts, jewelry, cake supplies…if it glitters I am in! All of these things pictured are pretty stinkin’ adorable!
I have a serious cupcake liner addiction. I love the quality of Bake It Pretty cupcake liners. They always stay so bright and pretty after baking.
What a fun site! So many things….candy for the eyes. I am such a sucker for anything mini, and I mean anything. Glasses, tupperware, chocolates, bottles.
These are so cute, I can tell just be seeing what you purchased, I could get into serious trouble shopping on the website.
I am also happy that I am not the only person who likes to buy liners and not want to use them because they are so cute. I still have a whole collection of Valentine’s ones that I just couldn’t bake in.
I can’t seem to stop buying gardening supplies this year. I’ve never even had a garden and all of a sudden, this year….BAM! The gardening bug bit me! I’ve just moved to a new house and can’t wait for all my flowers and vegetables to bloom. Yard parties are going to be a happenin’ thing!
I love the TeaCup Cakes baking pan…but they are all sold out. how cute would these be as the dessert for a tea party!!
may sound boring, but i can’t stop buying random condiments………flavored olive oils, mustards, jams and jellies, dips, sauces…………you get the picture right?
I am a sucker for their molds and those cupcake/muffin wrappers too, they are too cute, I too thought I would have to make my own popcorn wrappers, but these are too much!
I do love cupcake liners, but lately I’ve started card making, so anything to do with that….rubber stamps, pretty paper, stickers…. I just snatch it up!

New Ingredients to put in my signature cookie sandwiches! Anything from a new flavor of extract to something to add to the cookies outside the normal chocolate chips.
Baking has been a hobby for years and I’m taking it to the next level of selling it locally.
Oh, so much cuteness!!
I can’t stop myself from buying clothes for my daughter. She’s 3 and kids’ clothes are SO cute and, thanks to Target, cheap!
I love to buy anything that makes the baked items look pretty. Platters, doilies, littles sugar balls in gold or silver, marzipan fruits, there are so many different things out there that are cute.
Okay….I’ll admit it….kitchen items in any form…plates, cups, gadgets, bake ware, serving ware, I HAVE to have them…and like you will often just look at them for a LONG time before I ever use them. Serious issues I know…but it makes me smile =o)
I am obsessed with buying Pyrex from the 60’s and 70’s. I have an excessive amount of refrigerator dishes and bowls…and am not looking forward to moving in a few months :(
I have to make an conscious effort not to play on Ebay looking for these so I don’t spend all the money I don’t have.
I can’t stop myself from looking at and buying school supplies. My husband loves to tease me whenever we pass those sections of Target and Walmart. August and September are especially trying times for me with all the pencils, construction paper, markers and crayons on display. Luckily my kids are getting to be an age where I can use them as an excuse to buy more … although, is that really a good thing?!
basic t-shirts…it is out of control.
those baking cups would be great to have. or the button molds too….. I LOVE the baking cups!
I love the variety of baking cups they have, and all the sprinkles and glitters to decorate the cupcakes… I also like the theme kits they have for the cupcakes.
sooooo SO cute!! I love the button molds!
I can’t stop buying food. Good, high quality food. I have a food addiction and places like your website aren’t helping. : )
I can’t stop from buying:
– Organizing stuff (labels, containers, etc)
– pens
– unique foods
– patterned paper (and I don’t even scrapbook)
Those are soooo cute! I have a stamp issue, I love to buy rubber stamps!
Wow! I’m heading to Bake it Pretty after this, and I’m a little afraid for my pocketbook. I love everything! Those striped cupcake wrappers have to be MINE!
OMG!!!! i have about 16 different piping bags! and books on baking galore! my linen closet is full of baking books rather than linens! my husband thinks im nuts about baking but he’s the one that started the book collecting…
Magazines! The glossy pages are therapeutic.
OMG, just like you, I love to buy cute little things and hate to use them! I hope you will design a ‘box of popcorn cupcake’ that I can replicate for our summer movies at camp!
I have been eying so many thing over at Bake It Pretty, but have yet to make my first purchase. This would be so exciting.
Books! I love books. I cannot stop buying books!
It never ceases to amaze me how creative people continue to be and with the items they choose to improve!!!!
My “can’t stop buying items” – really good cookbooks, chocolate covered espresso beans, realllly good coffee!! I have alot of others but I’ll stop there for the sake of the 3000+ posts in front of mine :)
I’m loving all of this, please, please, please. I love in an area where there is a shortage of cut baking accessories (decorating accessories) . Thank you for offering this!
Love, Love, LOVE!
I am addicted to buying costume jewelry! Anything bright, colorful and chunky wins me over!
Gardening Stuff! Sorry baker pals but gardening is my first weakness then baking! I also have a habit of buying anything with owls on it! They are just so CUTE!
I can’t stop buying shoes, yep lots of shoes and that reminds me, I need to get some shoes today :)
Either books or kitchen tools.
Can’t stop myself from buying books…cookbooks…fictional books…self-help books…I’m a bookWORM!!! :)
I can’t stop myself from buying wrapping paper. It’s a problem.
Also, pretty much anything in Michaels – particularly small and cute embellishments.
Love your site, by the way!
Kitchen stuff is a “little bit” addictive for me. There’s just not enough storage for it all.
I love Bake It Pretty – I check out their site at least once a week to see what’s new…
I can’t stop myself from buying some of the newer sprinkles & edible flowers when I’m on their site.
books are my weakness! although, I’m pretty sure this website is going to be a problem for me.
I just love the edible royal icing flowers!!! They are to die for and you just want to bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. so that you can decorate them with the flowers.
I also love the green apple striped baking cups, they are gorgeous! I have to have them!
I certainly know what you mean. I was on their site the other day and have a list of items I just NEED to purchase. I’d love to make that purchase on you!
Those are awesome!
I cannot stop buying hair ribbons for my one-year old or gifts for her first birthday (on Wednesday)!
But really can you blame me? :)
fabric!
Odds and ends for rubber stamping. I always find the most random and perfect stuff at the dollar spot at target.
There are a few things I can’t stop myself from buying. Paper, stamps, embroidery patterns, books, shoes, baking supplies, and kitchen gadgets. I shouldn’t be allowed to leave the house OR go on the internet.
tilt a whirl baking cups please for my daughter’s 6th bday party in june. fun!!!
I always have a hankering for Iced Frappes from McDonalds. Granted I use all the free coupons for those that I can get…hahaa. I also can’t stop buying supplies to make more Cupcake Pops. I love to make those!!!
I can’t go into a fabric or bakeware store without bring home something I “had to have” but probably didn’t need…sigh.
I can’t seem to resist baking cookbooks. I have five 6-foot tall book shelves filled with these cookbooks and still want more. My husband has threatened that some day it’s gonna be him or the books. Of course any good baker has to be prepared to make all of the said recipes in the baking books soooo…I have to add to my hoarding list: baking pans (3 boxes), cookie cutters(2 boxes), candy making supplies, cake decorating supplies, and tons and tons of candies for the Christmas gingerbread house I make every year. My attic looks like a baking store gone wild. I admit it is hopeless. :)
I can’t stop buying cookie cutters. I have used maybe 10% of the ones I own, but I just can’t help myself. I’m also starting to develop a sprinkle habit. But like you, I can’t bear to use them because then I would no longer have them to look at. And that would be sad.
wow…you should not have shared this site with me…lol. THis site is amazing.
I am dying to have anything related to cupcakes. I love making cup cakes. The Cupcakes 101 – Baking & Decorating Kit seems amazing.
And i absolutely LOVE sprinkles! They are so fun!!!
My weakness so far as baking supplies go are the cupcake liners ( l LOVE the multitude of different designs and can’t help myself!), food colors (I am a big color person and like to mix and match to make my own creations) and the cookie cutters? Where do I start? I have some that were my grandmother’s and now that I am learning about baking and fondant, I have all of these ideas to use them for. Cookie cutters are no longer just for cookies!
things i can’t resist…funky rings, rain boots (even though it hardly rains here), and cupcaking supplies!
that website is SO dangerous…i’ll be ordering from them soon!
Well, I love it all and want it all but I can’t do that…my husband would disown me I think. I just have to have the Dashing Dot Baking Cups, French Toast stamper, Pink Parade Cupcake Wrappers and the “I LOVE CHOCOLATE” twist ties….I could go on forever but won’t.
I am also a sucker for cupcake liners. Too cute! :)
Body butter/lotion. Seriously, it’s an addiction. I love different scents!
CHOCOLATE…Always have to have it in my house! And I would say as far as baking goes, I am very partial to colored sugar crystals, nonpareils and cookie cutters! Love your site =)
Thank you for posing this!!!!!
You totally got my baking juices flowing!!!!!
Oh that website is so dangerous…I’ve looked (briefly so as not to get myself in too much trouble) several times, and it only gets worse :)
So cute! Can’t stop buying books & wine! Although it gets hard to concentrate and read after 2 glasses of wine!
Nail polish. Eventually I’ll use them all!
I think I would buy every single baking cup!!!!
Books! I can’t turn down a baking book. Usually I’ll read them a grand total of once, and promptly forget they exist because there are so many great ideas on the internet, and other books to buy.
I love buying earrings and big chunky bracelets.
I see this being very bad for my wallet… I love the Tea Cupcake molds, the animal print baking cups, tilt-a-whirl baking cups, the bright pink spotted baking cases… okay so I love pretty much the entire site.
awww everything is soo cute ! i cant stop buying stuff for the kitchen ! pans and mugs and everything that you could possibly think of !
Besides baking supplies, the one thing I can’t stop myself from buying is music. I <3 music!
HOLY BEEGEEZ!!! You have hit the jackpot here…I love EVERYTHING!!! I am a mom who loves to bake things for teachers and friends and to have all the “one of a kind, I’ll be the best mom/friend in the world” cups and such is making me giddy!!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh My! I…can’t… look…away…
There’s this discount baking store right down the street and I can’t stop buying everything in sight!
I love BOOKS… Books of all sorts, books for my kids, cookbooks, fiction, non fiction etc… I just love buying books!
I can’t stop myself from buying books. At any given time I have at least 12 unread books on my bookshelves, yet I cannot stop myself from picking up more. It’s an illness.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your site!!! I have developed a MAJOR baking habbit to the point I am considering opening up a cupcake/treat shop!
tshirts! everybody needs a never ending supply
I love buying crafting and baking stuff. I have a room full of stamps, papers, inks, material, thread, baking molds, the list goes on. I love buying stuff like that because it is cute and I don’t have to worry if it fits or not. :o)
I am a total sucker for crafts I see online. Bakerella makes cake pops I have to have all the stuff for cake pops. The DIY Show Off make wall art I run out and buy stuff for wall art. The Crazy Old Quilt Lady shows me something new and you guessed it I’m buying it. Luckily for my husband and our checking account I can’t stand unfinished projects lying around so I use the stuff I buy.
Journals and notebooks. I have an odd obsession with them!
oh I would SO love to win!!!! thanks for the chance!
JEANETTE
So much cute stuff! I have my eye on the cookie cutters, especially the butterflies for spring and the onesie cutter.
I love buying new scrapbook papers and fabric, always looking for a new project, or way to spruce up my home.
I can’t resist buying cookbooks and polymer clay…. and of course food! im scared to go into the site because then my bank account will take a hit ^.^
I can’t stop buying baking supplies even though I don’t have the space to store anything right now. Sprinkles, cupcake holders, cake pans…
Baking cups are a MUST have.
Oh my Gosh these are so cute!
I can’t stop buying make-up of any sort! I regularly convince myself that I need 5 ounces of gold facial glitter! Now this may become a new obsession!
(Sorry if this is my second comment. The browser got iffy when I tried to post the first one.)
Everything on the site is absolutely adorable! You were right, it’s kind of dangerous! I narrowed it down to one practical thing and one “just-because-it’s-awesome” thing. The practical thing would be the animal print cupcake liners. They’re amazing and I have a friend who’d die if she got some cupcakes in those! The “just-because” thing are the toast bandages. They’re just random and hilarious!…and now that I think about it, they’re kind of practical too!
Sadly, diapers. I get coupons and see a sale, and they never go stale…
But if I were buying from Bake It Pretty, I’d get the cello bags, because I can never figure out how to package my cake pops pretty :)
Cookbooks, I have a really hard time not buying them. I try really hard to avoid cookbook sections because of it.
omg to the popcorn cups!
I can’t stop buying comic books. I spend at least $30 a month on the things!
Oh my goodness!!! My boys and I love to bake, and we live in a rural area where we do not have access to anything like this! I am so excited about this website. There are tons of things I want. I think I will have to get some of the cupcake liners, the boxes for treats (we bake for teachers and friends for special occasions), and the heart shaped pancake mold.
napkins – the cloth kind. Especially if they are on sale or are remarkably cute.
Iphone app games…I have a ton and I beat them all when laying in bed before going to sleep at night.
love the garden baking cups
Oh my HEAVENS! How incredibly FANTASTIC! All of that stuff is TOO cute! Stuff I have to refrain from buying is ribbon, I think “this is going to look sooo cute to coordinate with a cake decoration!” But in general, craft supplies, I lead 4th-6th grade girls at church and they are SO into crafts :)
I cannot stop buying anything adorned with cupcakes. I think think that is the theme I want to use to decorate my kitchen, but football hubby might not appreciate that. :)
I have an addiction to school supplies – particularly around the “back to school” time of year. $1.00 for TEN notebooks – awesome! 20 cents for a pair of glue sticks – rocking! It doesn’t help that I’m a homeschooling mom – it’s gives me a stronger rationalization for always “needing” more!
These items would make my next birthday party for my girls a splash! I would love to go crazy shopping here! Thanks for highlighting such a great site.
I can’t stop myself from buying craft books! The bad thing is, I have no time to craft! I just read them and dream…
I love Bake It Pretty! Everything I have purchased from the site has been wonderful. I am glad you like it, too!
:-)
So cute it is dangerous!
These days cash flow negates fun splurges, but I was on a kick not too long ago where I bought a bunch of cupcake decorating supplies- I have lots of fun cake liners, sanding sugars, stuff like that. Too bad I can’t afford the ingredients to make the cakes so I can use the stuff :D
Hmm, that’s tough! Hot dogs. Yes, it has to be hot dogs.
