Earlier this year I posted a cute candy button display that my friend Julie made following a tutorial on a website called Bake it Pretty. And even though I had heard of and seen their site, I had not really looked around it all that much… until recently.

… like these superty-duperty cute baking cups.
They sell lots of fun designs you probably won’t find in your local craft or grocery store…
… unless you can read this.

If you visit them, you might be tempted by shiny things.
Or these. I was forced to buy them in several colors…
… and sizes.
The website made me do it. I promise. I mean if I just bought one color, which one?
Red? Of course, but what about black? How often do you come across black gingham print baking cups? Or orange? Or blue?
You know… I didn’t even need any more baking cups. Like for the next couple of years … I’m good.
But, then there’s these. I mean how cute can you get?
It’s funny – right before I found them I was wanting to make some popcorn bucket cupcakes, but figured I would have to make my own wrappers because I knew I would never find any with stripes. So instead I made these flat brownie popcorn bags. Then, right after making them, voila – perfect little cups.
And now, I can’t bring myself to even bake in them. They’re so cute I don’t want to be without them. I just want to look at them. Is that weird?
Don’t answer that.
And the cute little poem doesn’t hurt either.
More baking cups. These, like the striped ones stand up on their own. You can place them right on a baking sheet and go.
However, I haven’t used these yet either. I have a problem.
I worked my way through all the sections of the site and couldn’t leave without having these tapes and twine in my life.
And look at these cute little twist ties in pink, purple and tiny hearts.
Adorable.
But they don’t hold a candle to these…
Dying over here. Plus, they’re kinda perfect for packaging cake pops.
You can even make your drinks look cute. Love these straws.

For some reason, I cannot stop buying clutches. I like the little vintage one with unique closures. They are definitely a guilty pleasure and I rarely use them but they are just so pretty!
There are plenty of things I can’t stop buying, but mostly it’s yarn. I bought a few skeins over the weekend to make a present for a pregnant coworker, then found I had the exact same yarn when I got home. I must have really liked it…

That site is awesome! I loved the cupcake liners. I have a hard time finding cute ones and those were so so so cute! I have a paper addiction. I LOVE paper– for crafting or scrapbooking (decorative paper, not plain)
Oh I would LOVE this! Something I can’t stop buying is CHOCOLATE! I love love love it! Can’t live without it! And Starbucks…but that’s a whole nother thing!

i get into lots of trouble in williams-sonoma. i worked there for several months and never made a cent, i owed them WAY more at the end of each month than i even made. i can also do some damage in a great fabric store, i get so inspired that i buy more fabric than i could ever possibly use.
i cant stop my self from buying anything martha stewart blue for my kitchen. i have pretty much everything she has made in her blue. im lucky i decided to give in and buy the food processor, stand mixer, and hand mixer when i did! they dont make them anymore!
When it comes to baking, I can’t stop buying anything cupcake related. I can’t resist, even if I don’t knew what, or when, I’ll use it for. If it’s cute, I have to get it! In general, I’m a big sucker for anything in Target’s $1 section or their clearanced items. It’s like a compulsion. I have to walk through those areas every time I go to Target…just in case there’s something new!

I can’t stop myself from buying little crafty things. But, if I had enough money what I really would keep buying is anything to do with photography. The cash flow always holds me up there though.

I can’t stop myself from buying fabric and scrapbook supplies. I have a good therapist :) (my hubby, he really is a therapist) and he’s helping me to just say no.
I must confess, if I stop to buy gasoline on the way in to work, I cannot stop myself from purchasing a package of powdered donuts. I may be wearing a black suit and have a hearing or trial that day, but the sugary goodness promises to be worth the risk of getting powdered sugar everywhere.
My addiction hands down anything 1940’s war era especially for the kitchen. aprons,gadgets, decor I just love it all.
I love this website!! I am addicted to buying Gymboree clothing for my daughter. From eBay. I’m not sure if it’s the clothes or the thrill of the auction, but don’t get me started. Does a 2 yr old really need 40 summer outfits???
Currently I am into paper crafting, cards, boxes etc. and I love colour. So look out if I am in a craft or scrapbooking store! Mind you I found of all things brightly coloured microfibre cleaning cloths last week and ended up going back to buy more just because of the beautiful colours…so I’m weird, at least I’ll be bright!!

that stuff is so cute!!!! i can’t help but buy clothes at old navy all the time. my kitchen is being remodeled right now so i also can’t help buy buy new cookie sheets and things like that!
My big thing or should I say “THINGS” are paper crafts (like cricut stuff & pretty paper) and any kind of cute baking supplies (like pans & paper things like you showed off). I know $50 will be spent very quickly;)

Honestly? I’m addicted to Amazon, mostly books. Cooking, Financial (which doesn’t makes sense given the addiction) Dog training books (since I have a new puppy) and Home improvement books.
BUT cooking/baking books are definitely the weakness! Even if they sit around a few months until I use them…..

The things I can’t stop buying change periodically.
For a while it was bags of confectioner’s sugar. Then I realized I had almost 10 lbs and stopped.
Then it was cupcake liners. Before I knew it, I had hundreds and hundreds
Then came sprinkles…of all sorts. Now I have way too many.
Trying to contain myself…….but I went to my local cake shop this past week. There are so many things that I “NEED” in that shop. I was able to limit myself….but only because I had my daughter in tow and felt the need to be a good example for her.
Thank goodness for kids and cake shops!

I always over-spend on BULK items… Costco, the Bulk Barn, etc. I hate to run out of things! Half a dozen giant bottles of my favourite body lotion? YES! 10 pounds of dill pickles? YUM! It’s a bit of a problem sometimes… I don’t have a heck of a lot of storage room in my house.
I’m not a fancy baker, but I will have to visit that site – perfect for birthday party or shower supplies!

Cute kitchen stuff!!! And, I super love the candy ciggs. We let the kids have those as we drive to the beach and then laugh when people notice and are completely offended at kids smoking. If you only knew how strict I am in real life….. This is my “summer humor” – or that is wht my kids say!
I love BakeItPretty. I bought the mustache molds from this site, and made many chocolate mustaches for my wedding candy table. I would probably buy some cute storage containers from her to give away all of my own sweets.

I am helping plan a “cupcake” themed 1st B-day party for my Godchild…Emerson. This is how I found your site…I look forward to making cupcake pops for her party – but now we can’t stop…cupcake this, cupcake that!!! It is out of control….one of the most recent purchases was a 4ft inflatable cupcake…we thought it would be a blow up similiar to a beach ball – but it is actually an inflatable with a pump/fan! Yikes! :)

I just spent $100 at my local cake supply store on Saturday! (got a madeleine pan though which I’ve always wanted to try making)
I have to agree with you on the paper cups, I have a whole shelf of them, I wonder though, sometimes the festive ones stain the inside of my cupcake pan (as in I permanently had hot pink and green stripes in the bottom of the pan)

I love the paper baking cups! i can’t stop buying spatulas, i love them and i use them all the time! i always find new ones, with different colors…and i have to have them!

Ohmygoodness that stuff is so adorable. Honestly, I can’t stop buying post-it notes. If it’s a size/color/cute decoration I don’t have, I swoop. If it’s a size/color I have but it’s in a cute package, it’s mine in seconds. Is this a problem? Maybe, but I’m never without just the right post-it.

What can I not stop buying…..just about anything that I find that I think is just too cute to pass up…cooking, baking, clothes, housewares, etc….I always love to find that special thing that stands out from the ordinary.
I love Bake It Pretty! I have been forced to to buy their adorable baking supplies too :) I can’t resist buying cute ribbon. You never know when you need to make something pretty!
OMG! These are all SOOOOO caaaute! I have a hard time controlling myself when it comes to clothes shopping for my little girl. Such cute outfits! SOmetmes I wonder, why can’t they make that outfit in my size? Anyway, LOVE to shop!!

I started with a shopping cart full of things. Then I printed the card and kept it for future purchases. I think I’ll make purchases in spurts. So the Round Giant Pastry Tip is 1 I just have to get.

I can’t stop myself from buying kitchen accessories. I am not allowed in Cook’s Emporium without my husband anymore. But I LOVE my new cheese grater so I can live with the hot water I get myself into when I go there.

Oooooh, my weakness is usually sprinkles, but I don’t have cute things like that around me…. I’m in real trouble now that I know where to find those. I also love cookbooks, especially ones that have recipes that “normal” people can make every day. I love to just sit and read the recipes.
OMG I love buying little boxes for truffles and things. Wedding favor boxes, plain white boxes. I have about 5 packs of different kinds. Haven’t used them once because OMG what if I need to use them and I don’t have them? I have a sickness.

Bakerella…I am a jewelry designer and maker, and I can’t help but buy beautiful beads and wire, and other findings! Even when I am not selling things to offset the expenditures, they are fun to fondle and daydream about. I am always doodling swirls and curls at work :)
I find myself buying lots of cute summer dresses and flats! I am anxiously waiting for warm sunny weather, full of grill outs, and time with family and friends.
Spices & seasonings! I swear I have every possible spice, seasoning mix, spice blend, grill blend–you name it–possible! I think my spices have quadrupled in the past year since I’ve been married. My husband still can’t figure out what I do with them all :)

I am addicted to buying cake/cupcake decorating books. I just can’t stop myself when I see one with a pretty cover I just have to have it. I also have been purchasing a lot of different style cupcake wrappers lately for some reason. I think because there are so many beautiful ones to choose from. Growing up I just remember there being only two packs to buy either white or the pack with yellow, pink, and blue. LOL
I can’t help but buy plates and serving ceramic / pottery pieces .I have a kitchen closet full plus some cabinets in the kitchen that hold them! I buy so much I don’t even know what I have any more. But it is a nice surprise to find something hidden away that I forgot about!
I can’t stop buying fondant and gumpaste cutters and candy molds. That button one is mighty mighty cute. Gotta have them all you know. You just never know when you might need that obsecure one of a kind cutter

What CAN I resist would be a shorter answer. There are so many things to love. The twine and tape is totally awesome!! Who can ever have too many cute molds? The baking cups all have adorable patterns, shapes & colors! I it all!! I sure hope my name is pulled from the hat!! Thanks for the chance to win some great stuff. I sure have a feeling I’ll be spending more than the alotted $50.

I can almost figure out the recipe in swedish but I’m sure I’d misinterpret the most important thing;) I love those cupcake liners–such vibrant colors. I could totally go crazy with those.

ever since I started my own baking blog I can’t get enough baking supplies! I have en entire cabinet in my kitchen devoted to things like candy melts, sprinkles, icing writers, flavor extracts, cookie cutters… though after looking at this post I am decidedly lacking in cute twist ties and cupcake liners!
All things cake. I don’t even go to craft stores anymore. Okay, that’s not true. I tell myself I shouldn’t even go to craft stores anymore. And actual cake stores? Yikes. I could spend days. I could live there, eating the sprinkles if I got hungry.
The twine….love, love, love that twine among other things. So many uses I can think of for that darling spool of twine!!!!!!

Holy crap, Bake it Pretty has been my go-to for spending too much money on things I APPARENTLY DESPERATELY NEED. Like the tiny gnome cookie cutters, and the itty bitty Shlitz cupcake toppers for my fiance’s birthday… and the AMAZING cupcake liners. I just want to put them in display boxes around my house so I can look at them all day. Totally rational impulse.
I absolutely love all the cupcake paraphernalia!!! I’ve been imaging all kinds of unique cupcakes to pair with those adorable liners! Love it!
I’ve been a regular of Bake It Pretty and I too cannot live without the same goodies – cupcake liners, twine, etc. They are all too cute to resist! The good thing is that they never go bad!
