I’ve been in spring break mode lately. You might have noticed since I didn’t bake last weekend. I think it’s because I recently went on a vacation which I haven’t done in a couple of years and it felt awesome to just relax and do nothing. And now being back home I can’t stop enjoying the warmth that’s finally taking over. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, in the south, you only have about seven minutes to enjoy the season before the hot and humid heat of summer takes over. Okay, okay – I’m exaggerating a little. It probably lasts eleven minutes. ; ) So you’ve got to enjoy all of them while they last. And I’m trying.

Key West in Florida! It is gorgeous there. We rent a villa when we go and we overlook the water while we eat our breakfast. Then we go out to have some fresh seafood, do a bit of deep sea fishing and come back and take a swim in the pool.
Aqua Sky would remind me a lot of the Keys and that’s the color I would pick.

I live in Alaska, and I am on vacation right now in the Phoenix area! It has been snowing at home, and 90 degrees here! I love all these colors, but lean to the yellow or pistachio one.

The best vacation I went on wasn’t actually a vacation. I went to the Osa Peninsula, in Costa Rica, for a college class. It was beyond beautiful, and every day felt like an adventure.

I have a tie for what I like to do during vacation. I love going home to see my family. This doesn’t happen all that much because they live halfway across the country. If the fam (or far more likely…the funds) is not available, my boyfriend and I head for the nearest lively river and go white water rafting. No cell phones, no disheartening news, just the warmth of the sun mixing with the cool water and you paddle away!
