I’ve been in spring break mode lately. You might have noticed since I didn’t bake last weekend. I think it’s because I recently went on a vacation which I haven’t done in a couple of years and it felt awesome to just relax and do nothing. And now being back home I can’t stop enjoying the warmth that’s finally taking over. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, in the south, you only have about seven minutes to enjoy the season before the hot and humid heat of summer takes over. Okay, okay – I’m exaggerating a little. It probably lasts eleven minutes. ; ) So you’ve got to enjoy all of them while they last. And I’m trying.

I usually head up to the Boundary Waters in northern MN to paddle a canoe on the freshly opened water. The spring migration of birds and opening of wild flowers are a bonus!

My favorite spring activity is backyard shenanigans! Dinner on the back patio, watermelon seed spitting contests, slip and slide, playing in the sprinklers and sidewalk chalk drawing. All things from my childhood that I want my kids to do and remember too!

My favorite place to go on vacation is Kansas City. With small children, we don’t like to go too far — and Kansas City is close enough to drive to, with lots of things of interest! There’s fabulous shopping — plus all kinds of museums! The kids love the aquarium and Lego Discovery Land, too!

My absolute favorite place to vacation is Disney World. From the minute we drive through the welcome sign I don’t have to worry about ANYTHING. We do the dining plan so I don’t have to worry about paying for that grown-up dinner that I know my son will only eat half of or that Mickey bar that my daughter wants because she has to sit out yet another ride that her big brothers are going on. My bed gets made, my daughter gets called “Princess” and my sons feel like heroes. We just came home a month ago and I’m already planning the next trip even though I have no idea when it might be!!
And for my pastel . . . hmm, I love the Pink but that Aqua Sky is gorgeous too . . . decisions, decisions! I’m going to have to go with Aqua Sky.

My favorite travel memory is from Quebec City. It’s where my husband took me for our honeymoon. Honestly, however, my favorite place to be is ‘home’…although I’ve never been to Carmel by the Sea, it never gets above 80 there in the heat of summer, so it calls to me often. I’m one of the heat haters…and I’m dreading summer beyond words.

I guess I can say I do not have a lot of time to go over vacation because I work a lot and I am a full time student but my favorite vacation is those I get to spend where all my favorite is together, doesn’t happen often so it is definitely a time to cherish so as for the place I guess Atlanta, Georgia was my all time favorite because all my family went to visit my brother who bought his new house with his wife and it was my nieces first Christmas! We went to many places in Atlanta and had a great time spending it all together!

We don’t really get vacation time but one of these years I want to save up and go to Scotland. Now normally when we do get a little time off we go all nerd style and play video games and veg on the couch.

My husband and I love the Gettysburg area and many years ago we toured the eastern coast/Virginia area and visited several of the President’s homes – Washing, Madison, Jefferson. I love seeing a big smile on my kids faces so definitely any theme park is my favorite place to go. Silver Metallic is my fav of all the colors.
Every now and the we get to get away to a friend’s cabin upstate PA. We love the laid back, schedule-free time just to relax and be together as a family. Last summer, their well went dry less than 24 hours into the trip and we roughed it for a week of no water with our three and one year olds and our dog!

Every summer we head to the White Mts in NH for a week. There’s lots of green space for the kids to run and play outside, plus oodles of other things to do for some family fun. Great memories are made there!

I love to vacation at the beach. Any beach will do but it’s a must to have a condo or house right on the beach so I can sit on the porch all day and enjoy the sound of the waves.
I like the color of the Crystal Blue but it wouldn’t go with my kitchen so I would choose the Silver Metalic. Thanks for such a generous giveaway.

I love to vacation in the Fall…. Spring is a close second as my favorite season but I love the Fall. My favorite vacation is driving around New England to enjoy fall festivals, the foliage and yummy Autumn treats. If I had to pick a color mixer I’d pick the Ice. Love your work! You’re the best!
I love going to Las Vegas!! Really get the chance to get away and love going to all the shows! Ice is my favorite mixer color – it is beautiful.

The thing i enjoy doing the most is cooking with family. My pastel color would be pink.
Spring break is usually still a little chilly for us, I like to pack a picnic and take the kids to a park. I like to try different places so I just take out my GPS and say park and see where it takes us. We’ve found some really neat places.

Disney World is by far my favorite vacation spot :) Never grow up right?! And all the mixers are darling but I think the pink one is absolutely perfect.
