I’ve been in spring break mode lately. You might have noticed since I didn’t bake last weekend. I think it’s because I recently went on a vacation which I haven’t done in a couple of years and it felt awesome to just relax and do nothing. And now being back home I can’t stop enjoying the warmth that’s finally taking over. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, in the south, you only have about seven minutes to enjoy the season before the hot and humid heat of summer takes over. Okay, okay – I’m exaggerating a little. It probably lasts eleven minutes. ; ) So you’ve got to enjoy all of them while they last. And I’m trying.

Been so long since I was on a vacation too! Miss the ocean and sand. My favorite thing to do wherever we go is ride my bike and take pictures of things I can spot out that I wouldn’t otherwise. My favorite place to vacation I guess depends on the kind of vacation I’m looking for. If it is a much needed relaxing vacation, I love Siesta Key. For action, our family really enjoyed The Grand Canyon adventure that we took a couple of summers ago.

We usually stay in a hotel within the resort because it’s really convinent and the mickey waffles that they serve are so much fun and yummy! Favorite Vacation: Beach Baby! Almost any beach will do, but if I had my choice and the funds weren’t an issue, it would be the black’sand’ beach on Maui. The sound of the wind through the bamboo and the water on the black pebbles is something I could listen to forever. Add a couple of dozen books and viola! Perfect vacation!!!!

I like to go to different places, to know and experiences something knew if I can. With my kids we liked Orlando/Disney World, for us the beach/ an island is always a good place to relax and enjoy with my husband. My favorite color pink! Thanks!
