YAY! It’s spring and I couldn’t be happier. And to celebrate the season, I’m having a sweet springy giveaway for a KitchenAid Mixer in one of the following colors.  The winner gets to pick, too… Fun! What’s it going to be? Crystal Blue? Ice? Pistachio? Who’s up for Majestic Yellow?

All of these colors are beautiful and put me in the baking mood.

  41. I am mentoring my best friends teenage daughter, Sharon, to bake. I love teaching her all my baking skills, especially with cupcakes. I don’t have a daughter of my own and our time together is really special to me. My husband passed away from brain cancer and baking helped me cope during that time.   71. I love the majestic yellow. I would like to make a bunny cake for Easter. My uncle always made one for our family get together at my grandma’s, this year I will be away from home. I would still like my daughters to see that bunny cake :)

  72. The majestic yellow is lovely! And this is such a weird coincidence. I just baked some scones, and were thinking “it would be so lovely to have a kitchen aid, I wonder where I would put one? It doesn’t matter, I could never afford one… Maybe if I ever see a competition I could enter it!” And then this shows up!
    Currently I don’t have a specific thing to bake in mind, but my brother and his girlfriend are coming over for easter, and I’m looking forward to baking some kind of easter cale for them!

    I am baking this week for my childrens daycare Easter bakesale fundraiser. Their daycare is a non profit organization….and the bake sales are my favorite. So far I have made monster cookies and plan on doing caramel rolls and possibly some bread and/or cupcakes!

    White is the colour of NEW. Spring indicates NEW.
    And… We are building a beautiful NEW house in South Africa and our kitchen will be mainly white!!! I cannot wait!

  81. The pink is totally my first pick, but i really like ice too. All of them are such beautiful spring colours! This weekend for Easter I am making a lemon lime cheesecake and a gluten-free berry cake for my family. I also love to do the birds nest cupcakes for Easter too!

  89. Oh my gosh, the choices…. Okay, I’d go for the Silver Metallic one. And the first thing I’d use it for would be your chocolate cinnamon rolls! Why? Because I can never get the dough at the right stage by kneading with my hand. I’ve tried kneading for AGES but it just never works.This mixer would be the perfect kitchen aid ;)
