YAY! It’s spring and I couldn’t be happier. And to celebrate the season, I’m having a sweet springy giveaway for a KitchenAid Mixer in one of the following colors.  The winner gets to pick, too… Fun! What’s it going to be? Crystal Blue? Ice? Pistachio? Who’s up for Majestic Yellow?

All of these colors are beautiful and put me in the baking mood.

This week is National Student Employee Week (I work on a college campus), so I’m gearing up to make something delicious for an event we call Chocolate Thunder where we bake all types of chocolate goodies to say thank you to our students for all their hard work!!

  93. I love the pistachio color! I have been making breads and cupcakes lately, but I love to make chocolate chip cookies! I love making baked goods for the holidays. Right now I use a hand mixer, but have used my sisters kitchenaid mixer and I fell in love!

  140. The Silver Metalic looks so elegant! I’m making my grandmother’s brown bread for Easter — brings back all kinds of memories as my grandmother was the one to host Easter. I have my younger brother to thank for deciphering her recipe from 6 loaves to 2. It has molasses and graham flour in it so when toasted it’s almost like having dessert. My favorite bread in the world.

  145. Ice! Or Pink! I have absolutely fallen in love with a from-scratch-Funfetti cookie recipe I found on Pinterest. So much so that when I stumbled across the perfect confetti-sprinkles (rather than jimmies, ugh for these cookies!) at the Dollar Spot in Target, I picked up 4 tubs. I mean, they’re baby tubs. And I held off, hoping I can hit it up after Easter & they’ll be on sale then!!
