So I needed a couple of things from Cake Art the other day.
Like candy coatings for some Halloween cake pops I wanted to make a few days ago.
I needed orange.
Boo. All gone.
I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
But don’t worry. I didn’t leave the store empty handed. Actually, I don’t think that ever happens.
How could it with all kinds of spooktacular goodies staring me in the face.
My heart definitely started beating faster when I saw all this.
And umm… yes, this is just the Halloween section (not even all of it) and yes, I now have a small amount of it in my kitchen too.
I had to.
But I also had to pick up a few things for you, too. Every time I picked something up that I wanted, I thought somebody else might really like this. So by the time my arms were overflowing and I had sprinkles and spiders falling in the floor, I thought it would be fun to share and do a quick giveaway before Halloween hits.
So let me show you what’s up for grabs. Just a few random things I bought and thought you might like.
Starting with special sprinkles.
Pumpkins, bugs, bones, skulls and more.
I also loved these cutters.
Floating ghost, scaredy cat, and this great skull and crossbones. I picked this one up mainly because I don’t think I’ve ever run across one before.
Then there’s these itty-bitty cookie cutters. So cute.
Want to make cookies with your own jack o’ lantern faces.
I love how this is packaged so you can make your own expressions.
Speaking of faces, how about some candy eyes?
In three different sizes.
And look at these cute foil wrappers. Great for wrapping chocolates, truffles and cake balls if you like, too.

These little daggers are darling. And the graveyards … dying from cuteness over here.
Oh and look at this vampire cutter. Perfect for making cookies to really sink your teeth into.

And who doesn’t love a good spider trick. Well there’s enough here to keep you content for a while.
But spiders are so last year. How about some freaky little flies.

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I love to decorate the house all spooky and dress up, even though I’m not a kid anymore. I always send my kids to school with homemade Halloween treats and I love the jack-o-lantern cookie cutter. How cute to have the kids help with the faces, and for every kid to have a unique cookie!
Wow, great selection in store! I love the bone pane and the pumpkin one also. Totally considering making some treats for my puppies.

Wow! I follow you on flickr so I hopped over for a look at your blog when I saw some of these pop up on your flickr. That store looked a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! I’d love to win some of these things! The cookie cutters, sprinkles and the little tiny cleavers are so cool. I usually bake at Hallowe’en as I celebrate it in a big style with a big dinner and this year it’s my first Hallowe’en in my new house with my partner so my good friend’s coming to visit for Hallowe’en – these would make the baking fun whilst she’s here even better!

I actually loved it all but I have to say one of my favorites would be the skull and crossbone cookie cutter. It would be perfect, my daughter is an radiology tech and that is the symbol for x-ray so we would have a great time making those for her co-workers!!! The tombstone cookie cutter and cupcake decorations are awesome! They remind me of playing Oregon Trail with my sister and making up funny epitaphs when our characters didn’t make it. This would be so fun to bake with!

Halloween Isn’t as popular down under. But this year my younger cousing is having a Halloween themed birthday party and I am so excited to help out and maybe make some awesome treats. The Cookie Cutters and sprinkles look so cool, and I haven’t seen any like those In Australia. These are all awesome, so it was hard to pick my faviourite. – I often read that you use 1 package of white cake mix in some recipes and I wonder if I can replace this with “farina” which is self-rising flour because I cannot find white cake mix. I can only find yellow (standard) or brown (chocolate)!

It is so cool that you have all these decorating-things in the US – over here in Germany we don’t have many things like that… that’s why I wouldn’t be able to decide what to choose because I always freak out when I see all of these little things… all I can do is sometimes order it via amazon… but it’s just expensive!
