So I needed a couple of things from Cake Art the other day.
Like candy coatings for some Halloween cake pops I wanted to make a few days ago.
I needed orange.
Boo. All gone.
I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
But don’t worry. I didn’t leave the store empty handed. Actually, I don’t think that ever happens.
How could it with all kinds of spooktacular goodies staring me in the face.
My heart definitely started beating faster when I saw all this.
And umm… yes, this is just the Halloween section (not even all of it) and yes, I now have a small amount of it in my kitchen too.
I had to.
But I also had to pick up a few things for you, too. Every time I picked something up that I wanted, I thought somebody else might really like this. So by the time my arms were overflowing and I had sprinkles and spiders falling in the floor, I thought it would be fun to share and do a quick giveaway before Halloween hits.
So let me show you what’s up for grabs. Just a few random things I bought and thought you might like.
Starting with special sprinkles.
Pumpkins, bugs, bones, skulls and more.
I also loved these cutters.
Floating ghost, scaredy cat, and this great skull and crossbones. I picked this one up mainly because I don’t think I’ve ever run across one before.
Then there’s these itty-bitty cookie cutters. So cute.
Want to make cookies with your own jack o’ lantern faces.
I love how this is packaged so you can make your own expressions.
Speaking of faces, how about some candy eyes?
In three different sizes.
And look at these cute foil wrappers. Great for wrapping chocolates, truffles and cake balls if you like, too.

These little daggers are darling. And the graveyards … dying from cuteness over here.
Oh and look at this vampire cutter. Perfect for making cookies to really sink your teeth into.

And who doesn’t love a good spider trick. Well there’s enough here to keep you content for a while.
But spiders are so last year. How about some freaky little flies.
Oh, I love these skull cupcake wrappers. Really well done.

Wow! You guys in the states have no idea how fortunate you are. in from South Africa and finding fun sprinkles and cookie cutters are a mission! Think I’d go into a comatose state if I had shop in that store… We don’t celebrate Halloween here, but my son would definately be Mr popular if I could get my hands on all of that… The treats I’d make him!!!!

I LOVE Halloween baking! My middle daughter’s birthday is just DAYS before Halloween so I always have an excuse to bake. Can I just tell you I am IN LOVE with those little candy daggers! I must buy some – I’m thinking cakepops that bleed… every year I send her with a picnic basket of cakepops to school to hand out to her friends. She would LOVE it!
My eyes are filled with huge tear because I missed this give away! I promise to be more diligent when I review my 100’s of emails. Congrats to the winner!

What amazing things you got! There would be so many things that I could think to create with all those goodies. Every year I make Halloween treats for my work. The first thing that came to mind was using those eyeballs. :) I was thinking of making mummy and spider cake pops and those would be a great additional. Although if I actually won I think I would reformat my plan to make many more treats!!!!

I am such a Haloween devotee and I would give anything to have all of these goodies. I live in England and even though Halloween is celebrated here, it’s nothing compared to how you do it in the states, and things like these are very hard to come by. I am trying to get my own little cake business running and with Halloween coming up, it would be fantiastic to be able to make a proper Halloween-display at the monthly market where I have a cupcake stall :) Thanx for a fab blog and I hope you get a wonderfully spooky halloween! OMG!! I love halloween, even more than christmas, and if I was allowed i would start decorating in august and leave it up until december. I always make excuses to make some halloween themed goodies or crafts. My university roomies, did not seem to mind all the extra food hanging around, not sure about my halloween tree( a xmas tree I transformed for my favourite holiday!!). Ps. great giveaway, love the coffin, fangs and bat cookie cutter, I dont think ive ever seen fangs! awesome

would love to have some halloween items for this years baking. i want to bake for my neighbors kids as i am not going to be home for the trick or treaters. my dog just passed away and it’s too sad to be reminded of how she would always bark at them, making us having to park ourselves and our treats in our driveway.

I love the sprinkles! I am going to make chocolate pretzel witches fingers and boney fingers also chocolate oreos that look like pumpkins and black cats. For dinner I will be making spider deviled eggs, Spider calzones, and mummy dogs. Hope you have an amazing Halloween and I cannot wait to see the ideas you post.
