So I needed a couple of things from Cake Art the other day.
Like candy coatings for some Halloween cake pops I wanted to make a few days ago.
I needed orange.
Boo. All gone.
I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
But don’t worry. I didn’t leave the store empty handed. Actually, I don’t think that ever happens.
How could it with all kinds of spooktacular goodies staring me in the face.
My heart definitely started beating faster when I saw all this.
And umm… yes, this is just the Halloween section (not even all of it) and yes, I now have a small amount of it in my kitchen too.
I had to.
But I also had to pick up a few things for you, too. Every time I picked something up that I wanted, I thought somebody else might really like this. So by the time my arms were overflowing and I had sprinkles and spiders falling in the floor, I thought it would be fun to share and do a quick giveaway before Halloween hits.
So let me show you what’s up for grabs. Just a few random things I bought and thought you might like.
Starting with special sprinkles.
Pumpkins, bugs, bones, skulls and more.
I also loved these cutters.
Floating ghost, scaredy cat, and this great skull and crossbones. I picked this one up mainly because I don’t think I’ve ever run across one before.
Then there’s these itty-bitty cookie cutters. So cute.
Want to make cookies with your own jack o’ lantern faces.
I love how this is packaged so you can make your own expressions.
Speaking of faces, how about some candy eyes?
In three different sizes.
And look at these cute foil wrappers. Great for wrapping chocolates, truffles and cake balls if you like, too.

These little daggers are darling. And the graveyards … dying from cuteness over here.
Oh and look at this vampire cutter. Perfect for making cookies to really sink your teeth into.

And who doesn’t love a good spider trick. Well there’s enough here to keep you content for a while.
But spiders are so last year. How about some freaky little flies.
Oh, I love these skull cupcake wrappers. Really well done.

I love it all!! My daughter works with our local exchange club at their annual Dark Zone and I always make a HUGE cake for them the last night to celebrate another awesome year.. I see lots of great items I would love to use
We are full-time missionaries completing our 2 year training before moving overseas. We are having a costume party and cookout here on campus for Halloween so I would use these goodies to make lots of yummy things to be enjoyed by all the missionary families here that evening.

Wow. I’d be happy with any of these things. We barely have Halloween stuff here and I have to improvise everything for my boyfriend’s halloween/birthday party.
Thanks fo so many great ideas and inspiration! Most of my baking is gluten and dairy free, so it doesn’t always come out as planned, but it is nice to fantasize about doing these types of things!

I would looooooove the spooky/scaredy cat/kull&bones cookie-cutters! Those are even cute when it’s not halloween. In Holland (where I live) halloween is just starting to break through so last year there where some trick or treat-ers at our door but I only had St. Nicolas candy. Ooooo… that’s a tough one – it’s so hard to choose! If I had to pick, I guess I would say the vampire teeth cookie cutter, skull wrapper and spider doilies are my faves. I usually make cale pops (and get so many requests for them!), but I think I may add to the mix this year some fleur de sel butter caramels. So maybe those candy wrappers would come in handy, too. :)

I love HOLIDAY baking. Every year my son and I bake a new treat for his classroom. My work gets the leftovers and sometimes I think the ladies are more excited than the kids for the fun treats :) This year we will be making mud pie cups with worms and bat cookies. The eyes, treat bags and flies are would totally work for us! And who could go wrong with sprinkles :)
