So I needed a couple of things from Cake Art the other day.
Like candy coatings for some Halloween cake pops I wanted to make a few days ago.
I needed orange.
Boo. All gone.
I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
But don’t worry. I didn’t leave the store empty handed. Actually, I don’t think that ever happens.
How could it with all kinds of spooktacular goodies staring me in the face.
My heart definitely started beating faster when I saw all this.
And umm… yes, this is just the Halloween section (not even all of it) and yes, I now have a small amount of it in my kitchen too.
I had to.
But I also had to pick up a few things for you, too. Every time I picked something up that I wanted, I thought somebody else might really like this. So by the time my arms were overflowing and I had sprinkles and spiders falling in the floor, I thought it would be fun to share and do a quick giveaway before Halloween hits.
So let me show you what’s up for grabs. Just a few random things I bought and thought you might like.
Starting with special sprinkles.
Pumpkins, bugs, bones, skulls and more.
I also loved these cutters.
Floating ghost, scaredy cat, and this great skull and crossbones. I picked this one up mainly because I don’t think I’ve ever run across one before.
Then there’s these itty-bitty cookie cutters. So cute.
Want to make cookies with your own jack o’ lantern faces.
I love how this is packaged so you can make your own expressions.
Speaking of faces, how about some candy eyes?
In three different sizes.
And look at these cute foil wrappers. Great for wrapping chocolates, truffles and cake balls if you like, too.

These little daggers are darling. And the graveyards … dying from cuteness over here.
Oh and look at this vampire cutter. Perfect for making cookies to really sink your teeth into.

And who doesn’t love a good spider trick. Well there’s enough here to keep you content for a while.
But spiders are so last year. How about some freaky little flies.
Oh, I love these skull cupcake wrappers. Really well done.
And the black doilies. Had to get some of those, too.

I’m definitely most interested in the cookie cutters and cookie/cake pans. I have a real fixation on baking pans; I just got a 6″ springform to bake a pumpkin cheesecake for my boyfriend, and it was so much fun! The bone cookie pan looks awesome!

For Halloween, I love to bake pumpkin seeds! With cinnamon sugar flavoring each seed, I don’t know how I’m able to wait a whole year in between Halloweens.

My wee one loves all things halloween. Its not celebrated in the UK like in America so we make cookies and cupakes get dressed up and have a wee family party. I would love to have a shop like cake art near me.

I love everything…and I’m actually doing some Halloween baking right now! I’m going to a Halloween themed baby shower tomorrow and I promised baked goods. I already made girly ghost sugar cookies (it’s for a baby girl), and I currently have in the oven chocolate cupcakes that will be topped with homemade vanilla buttercream and halloween sprinkles…then I’m making MINI candy corn colored cupcakes.
The pumpkin cookie cutter is my favorite! We’re having a Halloween breakfast at work (pumpkin cream cheese coffee cake) and I’m also participating in a Halloween themed bake sale (cake pops!) so I’ll be doing plenty of festive baking!

I love themed baking stuff. Holidays and Star Wars make the top two. Cookie cutters are a favorite because I don’t really have any right now and shaped cookies are just fun to decorate. Then I also love sprinkles. If I were not a responsible (sort of) adult, I would sprinkle everything with sprinkles. They are the best.

I love it all, especially the cookie cutter to make the jack-o-lantern faces! Every year my daughters gym has a Halloween Open Gym fundraiser to raise money for new mats, trampolines, and equipment for the gymnasts. Of course there is a bake sale and I always LOVE to bake lots of cupcakes, cake pops, and other Halloween goodies for the occasion!

The sugar eyes are my favorite. When making cookies for kids I always add eyes, even if it is a simple fall leaf cookie. Kids just giggle away while eating them.

Everything looks so great! I buy those plastic flies each year to add a bit of realism to the “cat box cookies” I make every Halloween. They are kitty-poo-shaped chocolate cookies served buried in Grape Nuts in a plastic litter box with a scoop! The flies add that special touch.
have you seen the jello worms you can make using straws!? I want to put a pile of those on cupcakes and drop off to school for surprise for kids’ Grade 2 + 6 classes!
