So I needed a couple of things from Cake Art the other day.
Like candy coatings for some Halloween cake pops I wanted to make a few days ago.
I needed orange.
Boo. All gone.
I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
But don’t worry. I didn’t leave the store empty handed. Actually, I don’t think that ever happens.
How could it with all kinds of spooktacular goodies staring me in the face.
My heart definitely started beating faster when I saw all this.
And umm… yes, this is just the Halloween section (not even all of it) and yes, I now have a small amount of it in my kitchen too.
I had to.
But I also had to pick up a few things for you, too. Every time I picked something up that I wanted, I thought somebody else might really like this. So by the time my arms were overflowing and I had sprinkles and spiders falling in the floor, I thought it would be fun to share and do a quick giveaway before Halloween hits.
So let me show you what’s up for grabs. Just a few random things I bought and thought you might like.
Starting with special sprinkles.
Pumpkins, bugs, bones, skulls and more.
I also loved these cutters.
Floating ghost, scaredy cat, and this great skull and crossbones. I picked this one up mainly because I don’t think I’ve ever run across one before.
Then there’s these itty-bitty cookie cutters. So cute.
Want to make cookies with your own jack o’ lantern faces.
I love how this is packaged so you can make your own expressions.
Speaking of faces, how about some candy eyes?

And look at these cute foil wrappers. Great for wrapping chocolates, truffles and cake balls if you like, too.

I would love any of the free goodies… I recently spent last weekend on a “baking madness” event. I made “What’s Up Doc?” cakeballs for my office (carot cake cake balls with white candy coating – Yum O!! Not too mention all the other goodies I made, including 2 full size cheesecakes, cookies, brownies, cupcakes & some creme’ brulee’ too…

I love everything! The cookie cutters would be especially useful (I have a niece with a Halloween birthday, how perfect!) but I love everything! A lot of my halloween baking is just more autumn baking, which is essentially PUMPKIN EVERYTHING! Pumpkin spice latte oatmeal cookies, pumpkin bread, I might even try a pumpkin cheesecake this year.

I like the foil wrappers, the candy eyeballs, and the flies! I used to serve school lunches and always hid faux cockroaches & spiders in the kids’ lunch on Halloween.

Oh my gosh, I am so in love with ALL this stuff xD I’m French, and I’m so sad that in my country, Halloween isn’t considered like a ‘real’ party. It’s so sad! Me and my brother we’re the only teenage/young adult to prepared it, and it’s soooo heartbreaker. I mean, Halloween is fantastic! Spooky, creative, I love it!

That’s so darn cute! Today I walked into the local party shop and saw that they had Wilton’s bone sprinkles! I was so amazed, living in Sweden you rarely see extraordinary baking stuff. Unfortunatley, they were so expensive that I couldn’t afford them. There was a sprinkle pack too, with the sprinkle containers looking like chemical bottles in a plastic stand! Too cute!

Oh my goodness, I could never pick a favorite from all those cute goodies! A fun thing that we make EVERY year at Halloween (and have since I was a little girl) are these delicious and ultra cute owl cookies. My mom found the recipe in the paper when I was only 2 or 3 years old and the whole fam STILL gets together every year to make them and carve pumpkins. I love fall!!!

My dad’s birthday is on halloween and he always appreciates the extra effort put into making food look scary or gross! These products would make that so much easier this year.
