So I needed a couple of things from Cake Art the other day.
Like candy coatings for some Halloween cake pops I wanted to make a few days ago.
I needed orange.
Boo. All gone.
I guess I wasn’t the only one with that thought.
But don’t worry. I didn’t leave the store empty handed. Actually, I don’t think that ever happens.
How could it with all kinds of spooktacular goodies staring me in the face.
My heart definitely started beating faster when I saw all this.
And umm… yes, this is just the Halloween section (not even all of it) and yes, I now have a small amount of it in my kitchen too.
I had to.
But I also had to pick up a few things for you, too. Every time I picked something up that I wanted, I thought somebody else might really like this. So by the time my arms were overflowing and I had sprinkles and spiders falling in the floor, I thought it would be fun to share and do a quick giveaway before Halloween hits.
So let me show you what’s up for grabs. Just a few random things I bought and thought you might like.
Starting with special sprinkles.
Pumpkins, bugs, bones, skulls and more.
I also loved these cutters.
Floating ghost, scaredy cat, and this great skull and crossbones. I picked this one up mainly because I don’t think I’ve ever run across one before.
Then there’s these itty-bitty cookie cutters. So cute.
Want to make cookies with your own jack o’ lantern faces.
I love how this is packaged so you can make your own expressions.
Speaking of faces, how about some candy eyes?

And look at these cute foil wrappers. Great for wrapping chocolates, truffles and cake balls if you like, too.

I would love to go to that store some day! I love Halloween and I love baking! I plan to make cut-out cookies and a fun ghost cake for my husband and 2 year old! My stepdaughter is currently in Basic Training for the Air Force and is not allowed to have food sent from home. She has requested that I send her a care package once she is finished with Basic training and in tech school so she won’t miss out on my Halloween cookies! I am happy to make Halloween cookies for her, even if it might be around Thanksgiving by the time she can receive a care package!

I found some Wilton black licorice stringy things at Walmart this morning – perfect for stuff year round, but only available around Halloween. I have been purposely avoiding Cake Art, since I love Halloween baking, but Cake Art is literally 30 seconds from my office – dangerous.
These are so cute. I would love to bake in these. I’m always looking for different shapes and designs and these are perfect! I would love to bake in these for my niece & nephews. I hope I win :-)
Everything is so adorable. I love the different sprinkles, but what really caught my eye is the little flies; you’re right spiders are so last year. The kids would surely get a kick out of those.

What I would really love is a cake decorating supply store like Cake Art to shop at!lol! We have no specialty stores for baking supplies here. Fortunately “Tarjay “and a couple of other mass merchants now carry more seasonal baking supplies. Everything you selected looks fun! Happy Halloween…

What a wonderful selection!! I too would not be able to leave empty handed! I make homemade fudge, in fact I am known for my fudge. I am often asked to bring it to events with friends and family. The great thing is the fudge is a microwave recipe!! I cut the fudge and put it into the small papers and the ones at this store would be wonderful for Halloween!! Thank you for the chance to win!!

Traditionaly I make shortbread bloody witches fingers and everyshade of eyeballs (buckeyes with white chocolate) but one year I made a whole Hallowed feast for my sons 2nd grade with bowl’s of “scabs”, “bones”, “bat droppings”, cauliflower “brains”, warewolf “guts” (fucilli pasta), grave marker cupcakes with bony hand coming out…….just love it! I love halloween decorating, baking, making, and dressing up! Work has been stressful lately so I want to bring in halloween-themed goodies, sweet and savory, to cheer people up. The cookie cutters are my favorite.
All of this stuff is so cool, I would love it all!
I love anything to do with Halloween, especially baking! This post has gotten me into the baking mood, and since it is cold and a little windy today in Idaho, I will go make something right now. Cupcakes, cakepops, cookies? Hmm. Maybe all of them?

Wow – I never realized there was so much awesome stuff for decorating!! Amazing. So far I have made pumpkin cookies with orange and green sprinkles but would love those other cookie cutters, cake pan, all the awesome sprinkles. Wow it is all so amazing!!!! I would love to win any of it!!
I know what you mean. I cannot leave a baking/cooking store without something in a bag. I love the knife cupcake toppers, though they are a bit too gruesome for three. I think I’d most like the cookie cutters – especially the scared cat and pumpkin faces. Thanks!
