Cake, baby!
Yes, this post is all about delicious cake, but just not the kind you eat.
It’s about the kind you can carry. I found this decadent purse online and just fell in love. First with the name of course, and then with the design. It’s from Petunia Pickle Bottom.
But, it’s not just a purse. It’s also a diaper bag. That’s right. Inside this not so little red number is a fold out changing pad, room for diapers and a plastic case for wipes. No one would ever guess. Unless of course they, too have had some cake.
Now, don’t feel like you’ve gotta go and get pregnant just to carry this purse. Petunia Pickle Bottom made the changing pad detachable so you can carry Cake even if you don’t have a little one in tow for a reason.
Did I mention the matching coin purse? Sweet.

OMG! Love the name and the “cake” pully things (that’s a technical term!). My favorite cake is plain and simple – white cake w/white frosting – don’t get me wrong, if there is any kind of cake in a 50 mile radius I’ll eat it! Yeah for cake (the cute purse & the edible kind)!
I’m currently in Korea, and they have the best sweet potato cakes ever! One bakery in particular! They’re light and fluffy, not too sweet, and the best part is that they have sweet potato chunks in the cake =) I love!

Red velvet cake is my favorite actually!!! In fact, I had a dream that my (now) fiance proposed by putting the ring in red velvet cake and it got stained and ruined! I told him this and when he actually proposed, he’d made a red velvet cake from scratch for the surprise engagement party we had afterwards!

I absolutely LOVE Lemon Cake with Lemon Frosting!!! At one time I had the most delish recipe where the lemon cake was spongy, with a glaze which soaked in and then had a homemade lemon frosting to top it off… every bite was pure bliss!!!

We have a little bakery called Raspberries and Cream here in Oklahoma City. They have a cake called Ribbon cake and it is wonderful!! A layer of chocolate and layer of iris cream and strawberries then a layer of white cake…Yum!!
My favorite cake is a decadent chocholate one. Moist, rich, and the more layers the better. I will, occasionally, make a chocolate cheesecake in the same pans (lined with parchment) and pull it out, chill it, and use it for one of the layers. This just take decadent over the top.

That is GORGEOUS! And my favorite cake is this killer carrot cake that I make! Seriously, no carrot cake you EVER try will be better. It’s moist on the inside and chewy and caramelized on the outside. That paired with homemade cream cheese frosting is heaven!
