Cake, baby!
Yes, this post is all about delicious cake, but just not the kind you eat.
It’s about the kind you can carry. I found this decadent purse online and just fell in love. First with the name of course, and then with the design. It’s from Petunia Pickle Bottom.
But, it’s not just a purse. It’s also a diaper bag. That’s right. Inside this not so little red number is a fold out changing pad, room for diapers and a plastic case for wipes. No one would ever guess. Unless of course they, too have had some cake.
Now, don’t feel like you’ve gotta go and get pregnant just to carry this purse. Petunia Pickle Bottom made the changing pad detachable so you can carry Cake even if you don’t have a little one in tow for a reason.
Did I mention the matching coin purse? Sweet.

My favorite kind of cake? That is impossible…warm buttery pound cake, soft feather-like angel food, deep dense fudgy chocolate cake and then there are brownies, in a class all their own. If I had to choose, I guess I would say, a cake that tasted good (no matter the flavor): moist, tender, and not overly sweet.

My favorite cake is the one that makes my kids faces light up like a Christmas tree when they see it. The same one that my husband pats his stomach when he hears I am baking it. Oh how coolis this! My daughter and son-in-law just took my husband and I out to dinner this past Thursday and told us THE news…..yep…a precious angel will be joining our family in September! I love Hickory Nut Cake. It might be because it is such a treat–whenever there is a good nut year to provide enough. It is fun to make as well and the icing is simply delish!
