Cake, baby!
Yes, this post is all about delicious cake, but just not the kind you eat.
It’s about the kind you can carry. I found this decadent purse online and just fell in love. First with the name of course, and then with the design. It’s from Petunia Pickle Bottom.
But, it’s not just a purse. It’s also a diaper bag. That’s right. Inside this not so little red number is a fold out changing pad, room for diapers and a plastic case for wipes. No one would ever guess. Unless of course they, too have had some cake.
Now, don’t feel like you’ve gotta go and get pregnant just to carry this purse. Petunia Pickle Bottom made the changing pad detachable so you can carry Cake even if you don’t have a little one in tow for a reason.
Did I mention the matching coin purse? Sweet.

Any cake that my dear sweet mother makes. I am 51 but she still makes cake better than I do. I guess my most fav cake that she makes for me is Angel Food! With icecream in the center. She slices it in half fills the bottom hole. Then makes a layer of softened ice cream. Places the top half and fills the top remainder of the hole. Then freezes. Takes out and icing and another refreeze then Ta Da…pure heaven Ice Cream Angel Food Cake. Does it get any better?

My favorite kind of cake is…cake! Any kind of cake w/thick sugary frosting is my favorite. Events? I go specifically for the cake. You can pretty much get me to do anything if cake is involved.
It’s so hard to pick just one! Lemon cake is a new favorite and italian cream cake is right up there too! And of course chocolate!
I’d have to say that my favorite kind of cake would be Red Velvet cake. My best friend and I found out that if you pour the batter part way into a cupcake pan and then add spice cake in the middle it tastes amazing and the colors are super fun!

Crazy Cake is a wonderfully moist chocolate cake and it is the first thing I taught both my children to make from scratch, as my mother taught me! We also sometimes make it with carob powder both cause we like it and also for my niece who is allergic to chocolate.

My favorite cake is one my grandma used to make. It’s a yellow cake with pistachio pudding and chocolate syrup swirled in the middle. So simple yet so yummy! and it helps me still feel close to Grandma! BTW LOVE LOVE LOVE this purse! Red is my favorite color and I’m so in need of a new purse!!

I like all cake. Plain ol’ chocolate with chocolate frosting is my favorite homemade cake, but I’m not averse to a delicious white bakery cake with white buttercream frosting and all sorts of lard and preservatives.

I love Carmel cake…My husband made it for me when we were just dating and made this big deal about how he made it from scratch. After I tasted it, I asked if he could show me how to make and promptly he went to the store and came home with a box mix. He does put his own spin on it, but it and the cake are some of my favorite things.
