Cake, baby!
Yes, this post is all about delicious cake, but just not the kind you eat.
It’s about the kind you can carry. I found this decadent purse online and just fell in love. First with the name of course, and then with the design. It’s from Petunia Pickle Bottom.
But, it’s not just a purse. It’s also a diaper bag. That’s right. Inside this not so little red number is a fold out changing pad, room for diapers and a plastic case for wipes. No one would ever guess. Unless of course they, too have had some cake.
Now, don’t feel like you’ve gotta go and get pregnant just to carry this purse. Petunia Pickle Bottom made the changing pad detachable so you can carry Cake even if you don’t have a little one in tow for a reason.
Did I mention the matching coin purse? Sweet.

Because of bakerella, I am the baking queen at work with cake balls! I have my own specialty: hairy, nutty balls as I add coconut and chopped walnuts to the cake mixture. So, chocolate cake is my fav!

Oddly enough, red velvet cake is my favorite. My family has always made it for birthdays and one year I even made it with black icing for a more punk rock look. Mmmmm, I may need to make some soon, it’s so good!

Birthday Cake!
Oh! I LOVE THIS PURSE! How fun. My favorite cake would have to be my grandmothers chocolate pound cake. She would set it out on her buffet table with a dome on it, and the longer it sat the better it tasted. That is if we could ever wait that long… Sneaking tastes here and there seemed to just make it disappear.

My favorite kind of cake is a ribbon cake from a local bakery – dense white cake with bananas, strawberries and italian cream between the layers – completely frosted in a thick delicious homemade whipped cream. Topped with fresh flowers – beautiful and SO delicious!!!

Chocolate cake covered in a chocolate whipped cream, which is then covered in a chocolate ganache with fudge piped around the sides and top of the cake. Yum.
