“Thank you so much for your wonderful site and for providing so much inspiration to so many people. I have used your ideas several times (my version of your “burgers and fries” was a hit). Finally, I just finished up the treats I’m taking for Easter dinner – and they included your adorable Easter Chicks. Have wanted to try them for a year now. I did three variations – Chick Pops, Chicks Hatching and Chicks in Crate. Hoping they make you smile. Thanks again for sharing your sweetness with us.” – Pat

  1. EEK!!! SO CUTE!!!

  2. Thanks, Pat; the results are definitely worth the TLC and love you put into making them!

  3. Thanks Wendy! The “eggshells” and flowers are made of candy clay (or modeling chocolate). For the shells I used a fluted round cutter and dried them in an empty egg carton (of course!) to create the shape. When dry, I dipped the chicks in a little melted chocolate and stuck them in the shells. Same with the shell on top. The flowers are two sizes of tiny flower plunger cutters stacked together then attached with white chocolate. Easy , but a bit finicky. Fondant or gumpaste could be used but I’m experimenting with candy clay for some things. Thanks again.

  4. These are SO cute! And I love the tiny flowers….how did you make them?
