Pop Star: Laurie in Louisiana

“My daughter, Emma Kate turned 7 for this birthday and wanted to bring something special at her new school. She was having a little trouble adjusting, so I wanted to do something special. She has a congenital heart condition and cannot eat chocolate because of the caffeine. Your cake pops were the answer :) She got so many cheers & oohs & aahs over these! I’m no Betty Crocker – but the kids LOVED them and they turned out VERY special for this VERY special little girl!” – Laurie

Laurie – You don’t know how much this photo makes me smile, too. Thank you.

  2. Hey Laurie!!!! I hope all went well with your precious Emma Kate’s surgery. You sound like an awesome Mommy !!!!!
How did you transport so many of the cake pops? Did you just use a piece of foam? My daughter’s birthday is in a few weeks and I would love to try and make some of these for her party. I am trying to figure out a way to arrange them to make a nice presentation. Thanks!!!!!

  5. What an amazing mom! With three kids of my own I know the lengths we will go through to help our kids,we also just recently moved and my daughter had some troubles fitting in as well. It’s heart breaking not to be able to fix it for them, but it seems like your pops helped! Good luck with the surgery, I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
