“I can’t tell you how much of an inspiration you are, I love reading your blog and look forward to each post. My husband bought me the Cake Pops book for Christmas this year and I have been hooked ever since. I wanted to send you a picture of my most recent project. I had my daughters teacher ask me to make cake pops in the shape of baby rattles for a baby shower they were having for a fellow teacher. It was so much fun and I wanted to thank you for giving me so much inspiration.” – Jill

These are really cute
I retired and moved to Baja Mexico 5 years ago. But I’m only 49 and I’m getting bored even though my days are filled with baking taking tourist horseback riding idling on the beach hanging it’s my friends and animal rescue but I need more
So I started selling pre cook meals and homemade bread but Luis the creativity of baking. So I’ve been making cupcakes and when my friend said she also wanted to do something we joined forces. She suggested cake pops too anyways I saw these rattles and thought how adorable I saw a post that asks how you displayed them. I though tying them to a long piece of ribbon and hanging the ribbon up would look cute as well. When someone wants them they can just cut form the bottom or untie one. I don’t know if this would work but it wouLd be worth a try. Adorable and your very talented
Looks fabulous…I tried this with pixie sticks….of course it didn’t work out….what is your supporting piece between the cake pops if you don’t mind me asking….
I know this is dated………what kind of melts were used.
thank you they are gorgous
@Nadine I just made smaller sized cake pops to put on the other end.
@vanessa, Bakerella did a post on the paper straws one time, just search paper straws on her blog and in the post she did she included a link on where to buy them.
I love the lollipop sticks that you used. Where did you get them?
I LOVE these!! I am currently 5 months pregnant and want to make these for my baby shower with my sister. I have a cake pop pan to make the big rattle part but how did you make the small ones at the bottom??
Love these! Did you use a cake pop maker or cake and icing method? Which do you like best?
Luv this idea, and would luv to try this for my neices shower. Wanted to do something different anc came across this site. Can you email me the recipe. They’re absolutely adorable.

One cake pop is bigger than the other one. Bakerella posted a link to where you can purchase the paper straws. Just search Paper Straws on her Blog and it should bring up the post.
Are each cake pop in each side the same size? Those are very cute! Where can I purchase paper straws?
@ ivy bordem you can visit my website or send me an email at tasting heavenbakery@gmail.com.
@Ray I bought paper straws and cut them to the right length and then slid them over the cake pop stick.
Very cute I like the sticks did u buy them that way or decorated them yourself
These are very cute!!
How can I order this?
I used paper straws for the Rattle handle just slipped it over the lollipop stick.
Yes, I love these too. I’m going to make this for a baby shower coming up, would you mind telling me what you used for the “rattle” handle. This such a cute idea.
Very Cute! Did you use paper straws for the base? Did you just cover the lollipop stick with the straws?
I just set them around the table and I have also individually wrapped them as well and handed them out as favors for everyone to take home as a party favor.
Can you tell me how you arranged these for your baby shower? I am thinking of doing these for a shower, but I need a cute way to display them.
I forgot to tell u that it was me who sent the above message.
So proud of you my dear friend!! Such great talent you have here in this arena of baking…I certainly think cake-pops are your thing!!! I’ve got a baptism to plan for and will be reaching out to you soon!
That’s really clever!
I tried to make normal cake pops but they were unbalanced, I might try this with one on each side and see what happens.
What made you come up with this idea?
With that I got a little creative and found some spice jars in my spice cabinet that were just the right width and balanced them on the tops, until they were dry.
How did you let them dry without flattening the shape of each ball with them on each end??
It is more candy melt. I put it in a squeeze bottle and hand drew each design on.
I LOVE these — and I am completely shamelessly stealing these :) or my significantly less artistic version :)
I have never made cake pops before — I was wondering, what did you use for the decorations? did you make a royal icing? is it more candy melts?
Thank you!!!!!
Yes, a cake pop is on each end.
cute!
Great cakepops!!! did you use one cake pop on each side?
