“Just wanted to share that I’m so excited for your book signing tour, you’ll be stopping in Seattle first and I’ll be the tall, black, excited, crazy lady twitching in line impatiently! But not in a crazy, stalkery way :). I’ve never made your cake pops before, the closest was marshmellow propeller pops for an airplane party and since today was the first day of school, I wanted to try my hand at them for our amazing front office ladies and our teachers! Thank you so much for your time and see you at the book signing!” – Dawn

Super cute! I love the color and the tags! Keep up the fabulous work!
You can add vegetable oil or a tablespoon of shortening to thin out the chocolate.
The apple’s are super cute as well as the tag’s that say teacher’s pet, very clever. :)
These are adorable. I tried making some pumpkins but I can’t get the Wilton melts to get smooth or thin enough for dipping. What am I doing wrong?
EEK! I’m squeaking because this is me! I’m so thrilled to be featured, thank you! And thank you to the sweet commenters…
I’m so jealous you get to meet Bakerella. She’s not coming anywhere NEAR me. These are gorgeous. And the tags are super cute too. These are your first attempts at cake pops? Bravo!
Are you using Americolor markers? They are much bettr than Wilton?
I am working on cake pops, but having alot of trouble getting the edible marker to give me the deep dark images I see here so much, for faces and such. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a secret to using the edible markers on the candy coating.
the mere fact you didnt make them the classic red …just makes them that more creative and adorable
