A few weeks ago, my friends over at Cake Art gave me a sample pack of some paper pans in a plethora of shapes and sizes. They thought I might like them. But, I don’t. I love them. You can bake and then turn right around and take your goodies to someone special. Either that or display them at home and turn your kitchen into a coffee shop which could be fun, too.
These tiny ones make me happy. The size. The color. The slightly scalloped edge. Happy.
And so do these tee-niny ones. Eeeeek!
They have cylinder-shaped baking molds and regular muffin cup styles, too. Both of these are sturdy enough that you don’t need a muffin tray to bake them in. Just arrange them on a baking sheet and go.
And look at these cuties. They have lids. Perfect to bake and take.
Since I had all these pans, I had to put something in them.
I went for blueberries and bananas…
… and made some yummy muffins.

Add a little butter while they’re still warm and your tummy will say thank you.
Then tear right in.
I had enough batter to try them out in all of the smaller size pans for fun. The large round paper cake and loaf pans would have to wait for another day.
But you don’t. Cake Art was sweet and gave me a second sample pack. So who wants it? Anyone?

Wow. I really didn’t expect so many people to want to win paper pans. Super surprised. And now I wish I had scored more sample packs from Cake Art. Maybe I’ll get more the next time I make a trip. Even though I hate bananas, my Mom’s banana-lemon-poppyseed muffins are absolutely amazing. I could eat a boatload of those things(especially if they were in those adorable paper pans!)!

I absolutely love cinnamon swirl muffins with brown sugar crumble topping taken right out of the oven and crowned with savory butter. I would make them in only some of the pans because I would leave the rest of the pans to just drool over and look at them on a rainy day cuz cute things always cheer me up. I’m nutty that way.

Oh muffins which to choose from there is always the chocolate chip option that makes it acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast but I love me a good blueberry muffin with fresh blueberries anyday add in some crumbly topping and I am in heaven.

During the fall Starbucks carries pumpkin cream cheese muffins with candied pumpkin seeds on top. I loooove those things.

I’ll answer on behalf of my 10 year old, the baker in the house: her favorite muffins are your Maple Pancake mini muffins – they’re a staple in our house!
When in Minnesota, I found a bakery near Wilmar, in an apple orchard, that made these amazing French Apple muffins with a crispy, crumbly cinnamony topping that brought tears to my eyes. Never have I found anything like them. Nom nom nom.
cranberry. even in the middle of the summer… i usually have cranberries in my freezer for just such cravings :-)
there is a great little cafe in my home town that makes raspberry cheesecake muffins that are to die for. Cheesecake anything really makes me happy so I would say these are definately my favorite.

I’ve been kind of obsessed with PW’s muffins where it’s just 2 c self-rising flour, 2 c sugar, 2 c milk, 2 sticks melted butter, and whatever fruit you want to put in/on them. So, whatever those muffins are called (if, in fact, they are called muffins!)!
I saw these on the King Arthur site and wondered how they would hold up. Thanks for being the guinea pig! I would love to try them out myself.

I went to visit a friend and she made Banana-Mango muffins in my honour! They were PERFECT! They stayed moist and yet firm enough not to fall apart when the paper peeled off. Oh, so perfect and definitely my new favorite!
My friend gave me a recipe for blueberry muffins and they are GOO-OOOD! Super moist with a crumble on top. Yummy!

My friend makes these muffins–she said she has to use 2 different batters (Like a chocolate and vanilla batter and then she swirls them?)–but they have chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in them and they are SO good! I keep forgetting to ask for the recipe but she made it sound like it was a pain to do…I just love eating them! :)
