Pantastic!

I didn’t bake anything this weekend. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I think I was still in vacation mode or something. So I guess this is as good a time as any to close out the “Where I Shop” series. This is part 3: PANS! And Cake Art Party Store has a ton of them.

I love this store.

PANS

The cake pan aisle just makes me smile, despite it’s overwhelmingly gray disposition. It just makes me happy. I like to think about all the talented people that walk through here in need of the perfect cake pan and the things they create with them. Take all these graduated cake pan sets for instance… I’m in awe of what serious bakers and wedding cake decorators can do with them.

But layer cake pans aren’t the only kind of pan Cake Art carries.

Loaf Pans

There are loaf pans…

Bread Pans

… not to be confused with bread pans.

Bundt Pans

Bundt-style pans in various designs.

Angel Food Cake Pans

Angel food cake pans.

Tartlet Pans

Tartlet pans. (Fat Daddio’s… they even have a cute name.)

Doughnut Pans

Doughnut pans. I should get one of these for the next time I try dougnuts.

Square Muffin Pans

How about some square pans. Or… regular, mini and jumbo-size muffin pans.

Small Graduated Pans

But, when it comes to cake pans, I love these little graduated ones that you can hold in one hand.

Graduated Pans

And, then there’s these. These are much, much bigger. I don’t know how big they actually go, but I’ve seen some as big as 18 inches wide and 3 and 4 inches deep. That is a serious cake. I think my oven would be scared.

Heart Pans

But, the graduated sets aren’t all round. There are heart pans, hexagon pans, square pans, and oval pans… all available in different sizes.

Teddy Bear Pans

But maybe you just want one pan. How about a sweet teddy bear? In pink, though.

Shaped Pans

What about a butterfly? Care Bear? Spiderman?

Ice Cream Cone Pan

Or maybe you want individual ice cream-shaped cupcake pans. Too cute!

Mini Pans

Or maybe you want a collection of itty-bitty, teeny-weeny, baby-size pans. I want one of each myself. For scale, that’s a container of sprinkles on the left. These ARE cuteness!

Cookie Sheet Pans

What?!?! You don’t want any cake pans? Well, they also have cookie sheet pans. So there.

Number Pan

And, if that weren’t enough, they have pans that try to tempt me to buy them – even though I would probably never use them. This one has blocks you can move around to let you make numbers and letters. I’ve seen it in a large size, but not one this tiny. Again, CUTENESS! I hate this store.

If that’s not enough, they have even more pans.
And, now for some fun.

It’s a Pick a Pan Giveaway!
  • Enter for a chance to win the pan of your choice.
  • Just leave a comment on this post and pick out the kind of pan you want from any of the above. That’s right. You get to pick. Need some jumbo-size muffin pans? Want to try out a set of graduated pans? Hearts? Hexagons? Or maybe you just need some plain old cupcake pans. I know, you really want an assortment of teeny-tiny pans.
  • Well, if you win, I’ll get it for you, or as many as I can get for you with a $50 bill. Sound like fun?
  • Leave your comment with a way for me to contact you if you win (either a blog link or email)
  • Deadline to enter is Tuesday, July 14th at 5 p.m. TIME’S UP! WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW. (recorded by the time stamp of your comment) The winner will be announced sometime Tuesday evening on this post.

* One winner will be chosen using the Random.org integer generator.

Good luck!

Man… you guys like pans! I didn’t think this giveaway would be that fun because it was so, well, so gray. But, I’m glad you had fun entering. Now for the winner…

Congrats Melissa! You’re definitely getting a set of graduated pans. YAY! And I’ll try to throw in a square muffin pan for you, too. I’ll see how far $50 goes.

  2. All those pans look ready to use. Wish I had enough time to bake in them all. I would love to try the last pan where you can make different letters and numbers. I have two little ones that would love to eat their initials in cake. A heart cake would be fun for my hubby!

  3. Those cupcake pans look so cute! My second choice would be the jumbo muffin pan in honor of my oldest son, the Muffin Man, who would rather have a muffin than icecream, cake, candy, or chocolate!

  144. Wow! I want them all…ok…just one…how about the ice cream cone shaped cup cake pan! Way too cute!!
(If there was any money left over in that $50 maybe a daddio pan too??)

  145. I would love an assortment of teeny tiny pans!!! This store looks so awesome. I need to find one around my area fast!

  146. Oh wow, I would love, love, LOVE a set of those graduated pans. Or as second choices the ice cream or this one mystical bundt pan I saw once, that I'd bet cupcakes on that they have… It's a pirate ship! Not much chance to get cool pans when you live overseas (hubby is military), but thank you so much for the new resource! I'm a native Georgia girl and I never knew about that place…

  147. With 4 children's birthdays coming up in September, I could definitely us a new pan! A fun cake pan for my girls would be great.

  148. 3848 comments so far…lol – not sure why I'm even bothering!
But, on the off chance that you should get down to this end of the comment list, I would LOVE the icecream cone cupcake pan!

  149. Oooooh! An angel food cake pan! I've wanted to make one forEVER but I don't have the pan to make it in! Do they have MINI-angel food cake pans? And what the heck is the difference in a loaf pan and a bread pan? I loaned my loaf pans out and haven't seen them in over a year now! Perhaps I should go for a few of those instead. Hmmmmmm….

  150. Oooh so hard to choose! But I'd love either a set of mini cake pans ( or that last pan you showed that you can rearrange the blocks! That's so cute! Oooh or do they have anything for petit fours?! haha I'm so indecisive.

  151. Holy cow…. how fun. That is so awesome that you have an amazing store so close to you. I would spend way too much money there. The square muffin tin is just too cute.

  152. I've been needing a bundt cake pan. But the tinies and the graduated are cool, too!

  153. Wow. I don't know how you contain yourself in a store like that. I have always wanted one of those fabulous bundt pans that look so pretty-maybe a rose pattern or something even more decorative.

    Thanks,
    Maria

  154. I would love to have a new bundt pan. The one I have is an old one the previous owners left behind when they moved out of my house. It's dark with age, and is now beginning to rust in the creases and all along the bottom.

  155. Love the pan that looks like ice cream cones! How Cool! You're so lucky to have such a great store near you. And,thanks for sharing your talent and passion for baking with all of us.

  156. Hm, I don't know, all of those pans seem amazing! Thing is, I'm a baker and I don't even have any pans. No cake pans, no cupcake pans, all I have are brownie pans. Quite sad isn't it? I guess its time for me to expand my horizons and try out cupcakes and cakes and oh my how much fun I'll have making things if I had any pans from small to large. Though I think those small to medium size pans make me smile the most.
Hm, but to be practical, the graduated pans would definitely suit any occassion! Agh, too many choices. I guess I leave it to you? :)

  157. I would love to have those little square muffin pans. They really intrigue me. Thanks for another fun giveaway!

  158. I would have to say the graduated pans or the itsy bitsy pans. Definitely could have fun decorating mini cakes!

    oocat00@yahoo.com

    elizabethrobison1@yahoo.com

  161. I would love the tiny heart pans to surprise my boyfriend with mushy romantically shaped chocolate cake! :)

  162. I really need an angel food cake pan! and i absolutely love the ice cream cone cupcake pan!! I've always wanted to try a layered cake with the heart pans toO!

  163. I would love a set of tiny pans. Since it's normally just me and my boyfriend eating what I bake, normal sized pans make too much.

    That store looks like heaven.

  164. woww, so many pans to choose from!! i could probably spend all day wandering the aisles of that store :)
hmm… i would probably pick a few mini tartlet pans or maybe a cheesecake pan with a removable bottom. i love baking, and am just now getting into it. last week i made your famous red velvet cake balls and they turned out so well!!

    chaostheory2010@gmail.com

  165. My boyfriend still maintains that if you make ANYTHING small and cute, women will buy it based on that fact alone. That being said, I would LOVE some small pans – including that small set up number makers. I've never seen those before and they look exciting!

    talleycakes@yahoo.com

  166. I would love the one that you can make numbers or letters with, so cool

  167. I would love to b shopping there now! i'd like to receive the ice cream shaped cupcake pan!

  168. I would love an assortment of mini pans (with removable bottoms?)…or the pan you can move the blocks around in.

  169. I absolutely LOVE BUNDT PANS! Especially the cute flowered one you took a picture of! I would start a collection if I won this!

  170. So hard to choose! For me it's a toss up between the tartlet pans and a few different sized springforms. I had a nice one with a glass bottom, but a few weeks ago the bottom fell out and I had chocolate cheesecake (and a LOT of glass!) all over the kitchen floor.

  171. Those bunt pans would rock! I'd love it all though

  172. I would really really like to get the assorted cake pans…my old one's been needing replacement!

    EMAIL: ahnxyoung@yahoo.com

  173. I like those mini square pans-that looks cool

  174. It's a toss up between a tube pan and a deep tart pan… I know tube pans can be found anywhere, but deep tart pans are another story. I guess I'll go with the deep tart pan =)

    cbraceros@gmail.com

  175. I would love to get one of those mini multi-tiered cake pans OR any novel cake pans.

  176. Crossing my fingers I win!!!

    chadandelizabeth2009@gmail.com

  177. I would love to have the assortment of the teeny pans, or the tartlet pans! If I get it, I'll definitely be making some fruit tarts :)

    xmickeyxchox@hotmail.com

  178. Oh my goodness, I love these posts!! We have a cake store near me, but it is sooooo tiny and doesn't have nearly the assortment that yours has.

That said, I *love* those square muffin pans! Of course I need a set of graduated pans…or would I rather have those teensy little ones? I could never decide! Ahh! I'm dying to visit a store like this in person…

    http://www.facebook.com/cabaline16

  179. "Hi I luv you Bakerella, you are a treat for sore eyes. That store, I could spend hours & hours just looking, touching & admiring all those beautiful pans. I don't even want to think of what else they carried…lol About the pans I seem to be attracted to the tiny pans & also the square graduated one…too many to choose from. Thank you Bakerella you're an inspiration to me!! luv yani"

  180. Oy…just when I thought I had all the pans I could want (okay, need-with the exception of the Wilton King Sized Muffin Pan) you get me drooling over more…I love the mini pans as I really like making individual desserts, but the graduated pans should be in every bakers "stash" and I'm lacking those as well. So many pans…so much fun.

  181. I love this giveaway! Thank you! The itty bitty, teeny pans please!

    kimnalexander@gmail.com

  182. I as well as others I see, love the pan isle as well! I have never tried to use a shaped pan, I usually use my regular 9×13 pan and shape it that way! I have been thinking about trying the shaped pans! I wish that we had a supply store around where I live. They all have closed thanks to the economy! thank you for being so generous!

  183. hmm….the graduated cake pans probably…or the square muffin/cupcake pans. i have always wanted thouse too! My choices could go on and on.

  184. Ohhh, love all of those pans!! I'd love to have the square graduated pans! I need a store like that near me! :)

  185. Holy pans! I would love the ice cream cone ones. I love the cupcakes that are made right in the ice cream cones so this would be a fun thing to do too.

  186. I would love a hexagon pan set or maybe a cheesecake pan. I don't have either, and would find many uses for both!

  187. I wish I could get some nice cake pans…

  188. Oh my goodness so many pans!!! I love the doughnut pan and some of those bundt pans looked pretty amazing!

  189. I love the little graduated round pans! Thanks for this giveaway that is so kind of you :)

  190. Wowza! Thanks for the pan eye candy. I've certainly never seen such cuteness before! I'd go ga-ga over an individual ice cream-shaped cupcake pan! It would be perfect b/c it's hard to serve ice cream cones at an outdoor party in TX w/o a huge melty mess. THIS would be the perfect alternative!
    sweetmeatpiggy@gmail.com

  191. i wish we had a store like that in alabama. i would love to have some square graduated pans. keep up the great work on the blog!

  192. ohhhh do they also have the giant cupcake pan?? thats one i really reallyyyyyy would love to have :o) or the ice cream cones one…ahhhhh i cant make up my mind….. you choose …what u like i like too ;o)

  195. Those mini cake pans look like tons of fun… for my hope chest. :P

    taracinablue@yahoo.com

  196. Oh! This is perfect – I need an angel food cake pan! Too bad I do actually need one of those, or I would have picked one of the other adorable/awesome pan options – like maybe the heart shaped pans, or the movable block pan!

  197. I would love a set of plain, round, graduated cake pans, and maybe a robot-shaped pan, too!

    urchiken at gmail dot com

  198. Hmmm… the moveable number/letter pan, although I guess I'd need about 10 of them!

  199. I am soooo sad that I don't live anywhere near a store like this! I LOVE the ice cream cone cupcake pans – cupcakes are my favorite thing!
