I didn’t bake anything this weekend. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I think I was still in vacation mode or something. So I guess this is as good a time as any to close out the “Where I Shop” series. This is part 3: PANS! And Cake Art Party Store has a ton of them.
I love this store.
The cake pan aisle just makes me smile, despite it’s overwhelmingly gray disposition. It just makes me happy. I like to think about all the talented people that walk through here in need of the perfect cake pan and the things they create with them. Take all these graduated cake pan sets for instance… I’m in awe of what serious bakers and wedding cake decorators can do with them.
But layer cake pans aren’t the only kind of pan Cake Art carries.
There are loaf pans…
… not to be confused with bread pans.
Bundt-style pans in various designs.
Angel food cake pans.
Tartlet pans. (Fat Daddio’s
… they even have a cute name.)
Doughnut pans. I should get one of these for the next time I try dougnuts.
How about some square pans. Or… regular, mini and jumbo-size muffin pans.
But, when it comes to cake pans, I love these little graduated ones that you can hold in one hand.
And, then there’s these. These are much, much bigger. I don’t know how big they actually go, but I’ve seen some as big as 18 inches wide and 3 and 4 inches deep. That is a serious cake. I think my oven would be scared.
But, the graduated sets aren’t all round. There are heart pans, hexagon pans, square pans, and oval pans… all available in different sizes.
But maybe you just want one pan. How about a sweet teddy bear? In pink, though.
What about a butterfly? Care Bear? Spiderman?
Or maybe you want individual ice cream-shaped cupcake pans. Too cute!
Or maybe you want a collection of itty-bitty, teeny-weeny, baby-size pans. I want one of each myself. For scale, that’s a container of sprinkles on the left. These ARE cuteness!
What?!?! You don’t want any cake pans? Well, they also have cookie sheet pans. So there.
And, if that weren’t enough, they have pans that try to tempt me to buy them – even though I would probably never use them. This one has blocks you can move around to let you make numbers and letters. I’ve seen it in a large size, but not one this tiny. Again, CUTENESS! I hate this store.
If that’s not enough, they have even more pans.

I love the ice cream cake pan. We made ice cream cupcakes this weekend but just used real ice cream cones and cake mix. I let the kids decorate and it was messy but they had a blast!
Decisions, decisions, decisons…I really need a bundt pan, but I also really love the square muffin tins! I don't know what I would do with those, but I'm sure I could figure out something!

LOVE this series…. love these pans!! So hard to choose. I love the bundt with the tulips, but also all the fluted edge ones and the mini ones! But making donuts would be fun! I can't decide!!!

Oh wow… I would definitely be in heaven in that place! My husband would never get me out! ;) It's so hard to choose what I would want… but I think I'll have to say the small set of graduated round pans. I've always wanted to try a tiered cake, and a little tiered cake would be so cute!

Oh wow! That store is amazing! I've actually been looking for a donut pan. (I bought a mini bundt pan, but it just doesn't seem to work as well.) SO, if you pick me (please pick me!) I am in desperate need of some good muffin/cupcake pans. I have managed to trash every single one I have ever bought, except for the stoneware, but I am not crazy about that one. Same thing with the round cake pans. I have just never found good ones!

You know, after seeing all of your "Where I Shop" blog entries, my friend and I have decided to have a girls day road trip and drive from Charleston to Cake Art at the end of the month! I'm super excited to go! And hmmmm…for what kind of Cake pan…I want a really small little one, and maybe some square graduated ones. And that ice cream cone one is just too cute!
I would love any of these new and cool pans, but the one that jumps out at me is the donut pan because I on a whim made a cinnamon cake donut receipe on Sunday only to realize I had no pan to give it "the hole" The kids were quite disappointed and I swear they gave me loser looks. Donuts were still a hit, even in their muffin liners!

Dear Bakerella..I saw the store on your site…and on a recent trip to Florida..I had it all mapquested so that on my return trip to NY I could maybe possibly stop there..we were near 75 and it was about 8 hours away from where we were in St Pete..but unfortunatley due to a turn of events out of our control we left at 7PM instead of the am…my husband promised we would stop on another trip…I cannot wait..I would want that little pan that you can make the block letters with..that is just divine..I have quite a collection of pans and cutters..but always room for one MORE !!! I would choose the icecream cone cupcake pan. That is so cool! I make lots of cupcakes for all occasions for the students at school and my kids on their birthdays and this would be so much fun to have.

oh my goodness… i don't know. one of everything!!! my little girl turns 1 in september so i've been thinking a lot about that. i might like those square cupcake pans and/or some larger square pans.

Wow, i' d have a hard time choosing. But maybe a bundt pan would be fun. Or the square cupcake pan or even some new cookie sheets. Wish we had a store like that here in Florida!
I didn't know there were 2 "bread" pans, loaf and "the" bread pan. I would love to have a bread pan and assorted heart pans! This blog rocks!
oh gosh were to start?? ok… toss up between mini springform pans, the graduated round cake pans, tart pans, or a pretty bundt cake pan.

Yikes! What a difficult decision! I think I would want a tartlet pan, or a few mini tartlet pans. I've been wanting to try to make a strawberry tart, so that style of pan would be perfect! :)

Oh my goodness…. oh how I wish they had a store like this near me. I just love those square muffin pans … the possibilities are just endless. I love to make different shaped baked goodies for my boys and they would just love the square cup cakes, or muffins for breakfast or even mini banana nut muffin cakes … I can just see their excitement and enjoyment.
