We took our 9m old and 4 year old camping this summer. So much fun. We’re heading to the rockies in a few weeks.

For the 4th of July, my family went to the zoo and celebrated my 35th bday, I’m 9 months pregnant so we rented a bike to get around & it was lots of fun, later that night we drove to the beach to see fireworks. I had a blast!
Had the First Annual Big Girls’ Sleepover. My BFFs and I are all over 50, so we don’t stay up all night anymore, but we still had a ball!
I have been going to the beach eating a lot of ice cream!
This summer we’ve gone to the river by the house and had a fun day in the water. We’re also planning to go to the lake soon for more water adventures.
My favorite fun thing I’ve done this summer is go to Disneyland and got engaged!!!

My family and I took a trip to Navarre Beach, FL which is a lovely beach that is not very busy and has alot of sea shells and white sands. It is really lovely and the bathrooms are large and clean! It was a wonderful trip and our girls first beach trip, they are 2 and 3.
Found out I’m going to be a first time grandma! Would love to create cool treats for my daughter as our grandchild grows over this overly hot summer.

This summer for my daughter’s birthday, we hosted our first sleep over with a few of her friends! It was a great time and so much fun!
Well I haven’t done anything yet but my sisters are coming for a birthday get together at the end of the week! Birthdays and ice cream doesn’t get better than that!

I spent a week at the beach with my grandkids and it was the most fun ever! then I spent 5 days with them 4th of July, more fun!!!!

My sister and I spent a week in Florida together. It was the first time we’ve vacationed together as adults. We went to Disney and Universal and acted like we were kids again (only this time, we had husbands in tow)!!
The most fun thing I’ve done this summer was to hand in my resignation at my toxic job and accept a new position of my dreams!
We’ve been at our home for 11 years now and have always wanted to start a garden. So this year we did. We have green beans, peas, broccoli and tomatoes growing like crazy! And in August I get to take a girl’s trip with my sister and mom. We’re going to photograph wild mustangs in Montana. Can’t wait!

This summer has really just been a summer spent with lots of time with my daughter and husband. No trips were planned but we got a lot of quality time together.
We just got back from the beach. We also went on a cub scout camping trip in June. Lots of fun!
Something fun we did was go strawberry picking for the first time!! It was like a treasure hunt for our our little ones. It was a priceless family activity!

We moved, in a heatwave, to a tiny studio (from a much much larger house). There is something exhilarating and exhausting about downsizing and simplifying your life. Plus, it was so hot, I think we deserve an ice cream :)

Took my son bowling for his first time!
Spent a beautiful weekend camping on the Oregon coast with my husband and 2 pugs. Love going to the Newport farmers market.
Family trip to Charleston – first real trip with the toddler where we didn’t have any other family to help. And it was just fabulous. She’s a great little traveler!
We took an extended family vacation (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) to the outer banks.
Well an ice cream maker would b awsome to have since im hosting a carnival themed party for some younger kids in my neighbourhood. It would just make the day to have an ice cream maker!
My fav memory this summer would definetly b the lemonade stand my friends and i had to raise money for the alberta floods. We had so much fun bakin cookies and brownies for it and we also raised fifty dollars! Maybe next time we could sell ice cream!

Fortunately our weather was decent enough for me to do a make over of my back yard and my favorite thing that I did was to create a fairy garden with my grand daughter.
Spend time with my husband and dog!
I opened my dream quilting and yarn shop this spring, and we have been thrilled to be thriving all summer :D
We had a wonderful backyard cookout with games like corn hole toss and horse shoes and roasted marshmallows around our fire pit. I loved hearing all the laughter as everyone had fun!
I took a few days off from work, made sure all housework and yardwork was done on day 1 and the family did nothing but enjoy each other’s company for 3 more days. Turns out my kids are more creative and cooperative than I gave them credit for!
I sang in a chorus with opera singers from NYC to commemorate the life of our local opera director. So inspiring!
We are maintaining a very large garden this summer, a lot of work but huge payoff!
I’ve been choreographing a local production of Les Mis! So fun!
We went to California’s central coast and did winery tours. Quite lovely!
As a family we went to a waterpark and had a fantastic time.Hubby is in school getting his Doctorate so there is not much free time so we cherished these two days we had.
I’ve been to Barcelona last week – it was wonderful!
I have travelled with my parents on vacation. We had a great time. Good to spend time with people we love!

Earlier this summer, I vacationed with my best girlfriend of 30+ years at her home, hung out at the barn where she boards her horses, rode one of them (I haven’t ridden years!) & met her other horse for the first time. Plus we saw Anthony Bourdan & Andrew Zimmern speak & got a chance to meet them. All that was fabulous but best was spending time with her. :)
I started reading some of the classic American authors such as Hemingway and O’Hara.
I went on a cruise to Alaska with the family! The glaciers were beyond beautiful and the weather was surprisingly breezy, not too cold at all!

I went to the Colorado Renaissance Festival with my sisters-in-law. What a blast! Otherwise I’ve spent the summer getting ready for our first baby, expected in November. It has been pretty exciting!
I baked many cookies and it didn’t turn out as I expected, my cookies were super huge but it was still edible so I shared some with my friends and we had a great picnic.
I love spending time with my children- we have fun everyday no matter what we do. So far, we’ve had the most fun swimming and using our blow-up water park. We are looking forward to more fun days ahead!
Went to New Orleans and ate and ate and ate. Loved the beniets!
This summer I spent a week in New England with my brother, sister and sister in law. We traveled as much of the coast as we could including walking the Marginal Way. If you haven’t been up to Maine, I would definitely recommend a trip!
We took the kids to Vegas last month, during the heat wave! Had a blast, too!
We had a wonderful time early this summer riding our enduro motorcycles with our daughter in the mountains. Everyday was an adventure as we geocached and explored.
I went to Mackinac Island (in MI) for a week with the Girl Scouts…it was so much fun! The girl’s work as the Governor’s Honor guards and while we all work very hard we also get to play hard too!
We’ve been planting a most awesome veggie garden this summer, and for the first time have been trying our hands at blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries too!

We have had a blast this summer with our patio garden. We have really enjoyed the fresh vegetables and herbs; so much better than the stuff at the store!

This past weekend I celebrated lots of love! I went to a wedding on Friday, an engagement party on Saturday, and a bridal shower on Sunday. A very busy and fun weekend!
Also, a few weeks ago I rode a tandem bike for the first time on the OCNJ boardwalk. It’s a lot easier than it looks!
I skipped away to the beach for a few days with my youngest son. Just us! Fun times!
I learned Spanish with MMLA! During the program I took two cooking classes, which was obviously the highlight of the entire month.
Spending time with my family at the pool is the funnest thing, and we always end it by getting ice cream so this would be perfect!
Summer is spending time outside eating popsicles with the grand kids.
We go peach picking each summer at a nearby town. Love picking those ripe warm from the sun peaches. They do make good icecream too.

I went to the outer banks with all of my cousins and uncles and aunts, and it was so much fun! This icecream maker would be marvelous :)
I just bought blow up kayaks for me and my husband, and spent a day in the lake. A beautiful, brisk warm breeze kept me spinning around in circles out in the middle of the lake, while my husband was near the bank, fly casting, like he had been using blow up kayaks all his life.
My sister and I (and our little ones) went on a mini vacation for some great bonding time! Second year in a row and can’t wait to do it again next year!! :)
My daughter and I have been making Gerber Daisy Gumpaste flowers for my sisters wedding cupcakes! Fun!
We have been exploring different neighborhoods in New York City. Between the restaurants, museums, & taking in all the sights & sounds we have been enjoying every second.

What a fun machine! This summer I finally visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic residence, Fallingwater. So different from what I was expecting — the family who used the home must have loved it!

My summer has mostly consisted of working, so it hasn’t been too fun! However, I have made many trips out for margaritas which is always fabulous!
Just last week we went to a Dayton Dragons baseball game. We were in a suite with my husband’s family, and our daughters loved it!
I went to Bulgaria for a nine day mission trip, with a side trip to sight see in Greece. I also got to celebrate the 4th with my family watching fireworks from a hill by the Pentagon :).
I have been able to have a cook out with family, and soon welcome a new niece into the family!

My sister and her 2 girls (ages 3 and 4) are here visiting from Texas. We are going to have a real tea party with a miniature porcelain tea set. We are making mini cookies, mini cakes, mini sandwiches, and drinking tea with milk. Of course we will spend all morning getting beautified first though with fresh nail polish and lip gloss ;)
Something fun I’ve done this summer is I took my 2 year-old to Como Zoo for her birthday.
Took a trip with my cousins to a quaint little town in PA. for a wonderful weekend of reconnecting with them.

We went camping in the mountains in our 5th wheel, which was nearly perfect! Canoeing, hiking, fireworks. In fact, the only thing it was lacking was ice cream! :)

My precious daughter and family are in San Diego and have had a ball visiting them several times and watching in wonder as my 9mo old fearless little Ducklet grandson launched himself into the pool at his swim lessons…amazing!! This summer I have worked and didn’t get to do anything fun yet. But I am going to Disney in 20 days!! So then I will have done something fun! :)
this summer i started decorating our first nursery–expecting triplets this fall and having so much fun planning and preparing!
After living in our house for 28 years we are completely gutting our kitchen/living area. Removed the wall that separated the kitchen from the living room to open up the space. Put in new flooring, cupboards, appliances, lighting. It will be like having a new house.
We went camping for a week to be out of the house while they did the messiest if the work. We are now living in our camper trailer in a feiend’s driveway till it is done, because, of course, there were bumps and it is taking longer than planned.

Our summer has been a blast!! June is always the highlight of our summer—our youngest daughter turned 2 and our oldest daughter turned 4 the same day my dad turned 63! Add Father’s Day to the month and it is one party after another!
I just got back from a family reunion at the beach! 48 hours of fun, food and love! Now the rest of the summer will be spent relaxing.
We were able to hit up Busch Gardens with our boys multiple time before we moved states away…it was good to relax during the moving process!

I have been debating the purchase of an ice cream maker all summer. One of the best things we’ve done all summer is when my daughter came home from her first year of college, we played tourist in our own town. Went to all of the attractions and shopped local at all of the downtown merchants. It was great and I got to know a lot of the shop owners right in my own town.
We took a eurotrip and all the gelato have made me want to make my own! :)

I got a new sewing machine so I can finally get to all of those fun projects I’ve been planning! :) Also, I LOVE Jeni’s. When I moved away from Columbus it was an adjustment to not being close to Jeni’s stores so I could have her awesome creations all the time. Now I demand them when I go back to visit! Would love to be able to make some of my own :)

I started my first ever garden in the new old house my boyfriend bought and I am loving every minute of it! Peas, tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, basil, bachelor buttons, sunflowers, forget me nots, shasta daisies, zinnias. Aaaah!!

I have been taking my children to the movies at the park. They play the classics, westerns, B&W, even some silents, the days when actors actually had immense talent. My boys 13 and 14 have loved all of them. Thank for this Awesome giveaway, I so want to win.
