My husband and I took our daughters to the Turkey Hill Experience. They had all you could eat ice cream and iced tea. The girls had a blast :)
I went to Ireland and England for my 21st birthday!
Went to a BBQ with some friends (nearly in our 30s) where we ended up reverting to childhood days of recess with an exciting game of kickball.

I’m in South Africa and its actually Winter for us. My husband, daughter (3yrs) and I went on a fantastic hike in the nature reserve near our house. Saw Horses, Zebras, Bucks and a Meerkat all on foot. Was magical. Love your blog, thanks for the giveaway!
Oh my! I have wished for one of these machines for a long time! This summer was a stay home summer for budget purposes so we’ve done some geocaching and some picnic lunches and spent a few days at our local pool with friends.
I bought a new house! That qualifies as fun, right?

Enjoyed a getaway with our family of 7 (3 under age of 3) in a beautiful cabin. So fun!
We’ve gone on two canoe trips so far. One on the St. Croix and one on the Namekogan. It has been a good summer so far.
The something fun for the summer is actually next weekend, I am doing a fun run 5k at Citifield for a friend’s bachelorette party ! But otherwise, I did a caribbean cooking class a few weeks ago with my boyfriend (but it may technically still have been spring). Thanks for the chance !
I helped coordinate and celebrate a huge birthday weekend getaway for a friend at a resort!
A year ago we moved to a resort area. This summer, we’ve spent great time with great people and been able to host them in our home! So much fun to have people we love in our home!

Coincidentally, I have discovered the fun of making ice cream (with an ice cream maker borrowed from a friend). It has been fun, though not helping the waist line at all!

I went kayaking last night, that was pretty fun – despite being rained on! I also went to a concert a couple weeks ago (Def Leppard, Cheap Trick & Sloan) – also pretty spectacular.
I’ve had a lot of crazy study groups (in summer school) so far. We laugh, play, and just do random stuff after finishing a really hard problem (engineering major). This is my last summer in college so it’s been totally fun.

Had my parents come visit in our new home, watched my daughter discover the sprinklers in the yard, and made new memories.
My husband and I took my kids to the boardwalk for a night of rides and cotton candy.

I’ve had a great summer so far! The most fun I’ve had so far this summer is spending a long weekend in Newport, RI with my husband. We have also spent many weekend at the beach with family. More fun to come…

This summer, I took a cross country road trip from Boston, MA to San Diego, CA…did some amazing hiking along the way and found as many cupcake shops as I could.
I love making food for my family. I made chocolate covered strawberries for my son last night–in preparation for him asking his girlfriend to marry him.

My husband and I ditched the kids and left them with grandma and headed off to Northern California and San Francisco. It was fantastic. When we got home we made it up to our boys by taking them to amusement parks and water parks!

I have been on numerous beach trips with my almost 2 year old twins this summer, each time is a blast.
Technically, I haven’t done it yet, but next week I’m going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I’ll be gone for 18 months teaching about Christ! I can’t wait!
My sister got married!!!
My fun thing this summer is that my husband and I discovered a state park near our house! It’s been so fun going horseback riding, hiking, and going to the lake there.

I went to the mountains and played disc golf with my sons and hubby on the top of Beech Mtn., NC. Some homemade ice cream would be fun, too!
This summer I participated in my very first Ironman Triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I did this race in honor of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I raised over $14,000 dollars for this organization during my 8 months of training, which will go towards cancer research and patient services. Honestly, it was the greatest thing I’ve ever done and I am so proud to have done it for such an amazing cause!
I’m spending every Friday taking care of my new granddaughter!
I’ve been taking as much advantage of the sunshine as I can – spending time by the lake, running outside, and enjoying outdoor concerts!
Most fun thing I’ve done so far is hang out with my brother, sister in law and my wonderful nieces & nephew who just arrived in town and whom I haven’t seen for almost a year and a half. Having such a nice visit! Ice cream would be a lovely treat to add!!

I signed my first lease… ever! It was the most scarily thrilling experience ever. Now I’m busy bargain hunting to fill and decorate my first apartment and I bet that ice cream maker would look pretty awesome on my bare kitchen counter. And that book would look lovely on my Ikea coffee table ;)

This summer I am going to Japan. I leave July 31st and i can’t wait! Been saving for a while for this trip and i intend to eat a lot while i am there.

This summer we took our 3yo to Sesame Place. This was her first amusement park and she had a blast!
