Me and my boyfriend going to Brooklyn ! First, we had ice cream right next to Brooklyn Bridge, it’s the best ice cream on Brooklyn ! And then, we walked to pier 6, to get a free boat to Governors Island, where we biked, played at the park’s swing and visited a museum. We had a great time !
I’ve gone to New Orleans and Austin.
Oooh! My family and I have been going to Vegas and Palm Springs. We are loving that we get to be together this summer! :)
Been spending my summer with my two boys (2 & almost 1 tomorrow!) playing at the park, playing in the backyard in a splash pad. Having all sorts of summer fun!
My husband and I bought our first house beginning of July and we are having a baby boy end of August!!!

Yesterday I visited Toronto Island with several family members. It was a beautiful day – cool, with a bit of sun at peak hours. We took the kids to Centreville to go on some rides. My parents, my boyfriend, and I rode a 4-person quadricycle for the first time. It was a blast!
My awesome parents took mine and my sisters families to Disneyworld. It was a trip of a lifetime for us and our children!
I started a new job this summer, so I got to take off a week beforehand to spend with family at the pool. Simple things! I am dying for fall, though…for Jeni’s pumpkin ice cream!!
This summer I moved across the country! My mom and I drove all our stuff from California to Ohio and it was very fun

I have been baking more than I normally do – I am adament to improve myself & tick more recipes off my to-do list! We went to Israel!
I’m a Vet. I started making lollycakes in 2010. We have ice cream socials at the Clinic where I work for a morale booster. We are furlough and are losing 20% of our pay. I didn’t get a chance this year to vacation. However, I did make homemade choc-o-chip cookies and added salted carmel truffle ice cream. Those were D to the I to the LICIOUS. Oops on the spelling. :)
I went to a reeeeeally big shopping mall & shopped ’till I dropped! Every girl’s dream, lol! Hope I win! :’)
Some of my favorite days have involved breakfast… Breakfast on the Farm, and a breakfast/fly-in at a local, small airport. But yesterday it was a group of friends and our kids bowling and eating pizza and ice cream.

Just returned from a cruise to Alaska! I miss all the wonderful food on the cruise. I think ice cream might help me get back to normal life.
I went to a theme park with my sister & her friends! I rode the UK’s tallest & fastest rollercoaster – it was crazily fun! I had an awesome day, with awesome weather & company! :)

this past weekend we had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party…despicable me minion themed! she’s obsessed with them. i would have LOVED to make those adorable minion cake pops you made…they were perfect! such great detail. but instead i tried to make them with twinkies…that was an epic fail. so i tried frozen banana halves on a stick and that worked nicely. the kids had a lot of fun smearing on the yellow and blue frosting and adding candy eyes, and chocolate sprinkles for hair, and licorice rope for the goggle straps. they turned out very cute. anyway, i’m crossing my fingers that i win that ice cream maker! hope you are doing well.
My 7-year-old twin daughters and I listened to the Declaration of Independence together, and I clarified that I was not old enough (I’m 34) to have been around during the American Revolution.
It was nice to have the whole family together for my husband’s birthday for lots of good bbq!

I let the kids turn the swing set slide into a slip n slide slide with a tarp, dish soap and the water hose. It kept them busy while I read your blog….um, I mean I cleaned the house : )
I went on a family vacation to Tennesse. My husband took me to Graceland ( my dream to visit) after getting him thru chemo last year.

We put in a pool! Which was finished just in time for our heat wave in Las Vegas, where it was about 117 for almost 2 weeks straight.
Bought a house and one of the first things we did was decorate the nursery for our baby boy due in 3 months!
Yeah for ICE CREAM!! This summer, we have hosted multiple BBQ’s, swam in our pool, and are enjoying our last few weeks with our daughter as the only child. We are welcoming child number 2 in 8 weeks!!!!

This summer I went to Warped Tour 2013 in Pomona with my best friend and we met amazing bands in person! Sang our hearts out and burned our poor selves in the end. But it was fun!! :D and my cousin from Arkansas visited for 3 weeks and we had loads of fun in LA and other cool CA places my cuz wanted to see x)

This summer, I took a trip around the United States with my husband. We went from Los Angeles to New Orleans to Miami to Washington DC to Philadelphia to New York to Niagara Falls to Chicago to Seattle and back. I must say that Molly Moon’s ice cream in Seattle was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. If I had visited Ohio, I would have DEFINITELY stopped by Jeni’s Ice cream!

I traveled to the Baltic! It was my 84 year old mother’s desire to visit St. Petersburg and see distant relatives from
Copenhagen again. So we combined them both and cruised the Baltic! Great fun.

Ooohh! My family would love this! We have climbed an 84ft fire tower and walked a canopy bridge in a state park. We also went to a water park and slid down slides nearly as tall as that fire tower! Going camping next weekend! We love summer and all the fun it brings!

I travelled seven countries of Europe with a bag pack as a young traveller.Saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa,listened to Mozart Concert in Vienna … Learned lots about their cultures, tasted their cusine and had fun,lots of fun ..! :D After eating gelato in Rome I would love to make my own ice cream :)

This summer I’ve loved making icebox cheesecakes. 10 minutes of baking the crust, and all the rest is just chilling time in the freezer. the outcome is deliciously cool, and perfect for an apartment with minimal AC. :)
This summer My family and I took a road-trip to Molena GA! It was really nice to go and see our family and we are going back in August for the BIG family reunion!

I went on a family trip to Vegas to celebrate a 21st birthday! It was great and I can’t wait to go back home to LA to visit the fam again.
I tried to teach my 3 year old daughter how to swim thinking it would be hard, but she took to the water like a fish and is now a better swimmer than me!
We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday at a garage picnic party since she couldn’t go too far from home.
This summer we drove the Pacific Coast Highway and stayed in a Yurt in Big Sur!
My hubby & I took off to Ouray, CO to go Jeeping for our 17th anniversary. :)

We went to Hawaii this summer!
We made dinner in our dutch ovens for my birthday. We were still outside when it was dark and we were able to see fireworks. It was fun.
I spent 8 wonderful days with my grandchildren. Swimming lessons, movies and baking cookies. The Best!
I’ve been very lucky to be able to spend most Fridays away from my office with my 5 year old before she starts Kindergarten in August!
I spent time with my close friends who live far away and celebrated a friend’s wedding in the same weekend.

My daughter and I went to an ‘iron pour’ – molten lead poured into a sand-and-resin reverse mold that we carved. Very cool – eclectic group of people – great for the soul!

This summer we’ve splashed in the kiddy pool with our 22-month-old son. So much fun and refreshing in this hot weather!

My husband and I have taken some time for ourselves.. been to RI for a visit.. cookouts in the backyard.. and getting ready to head off to the beach to spend a week with friends, family and play with our 18 month old niece in the sand! Would LOVE this! :)
Planted sunflower seeds to bloom for the goldfinch birds to eat. The kids and I sit and watch them eat the seeds from the blooms!
I’m planning a road trip to Stratford, Ontario where we’ll be seeing three great looking plays: Waiting for Godot, Mary Stuart, and Blithe Spirit. I’m really excited for the food too, we’ll be dining at a local cheese producer and we hope to sample a few of the chocolate stores in town.
Rode a ski lift to the top of a mountain to see my favorite nephew marry the woman of his dreams in a gorgeous setting.
This summer, I bought a house, went to Schlitterbahn, spent a long weekend at the lake, and spent more time with my friends.

Our summer has been quite busy so far. Our city had some major flooding this year and my husband works for the Calgary Stampede so I didn’t see him much as they tried to clean up the groundsand pull it all together for the first day. So after it was all done us and our girls spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend camping and just being together. Weather was great and it was nice just being all together.

Set a goal with my 4 kiddos to visit 100 different parks this summer…unfortunately the weather has not cooperated, but we have made it to 40!
I worked on overcoming by depression. With frequent bike rides and the help of some wonderful people I’ve come a long way. I’m extremely proud to be able to feel somewhat normal again.
Went to Mallorca and read 7 books in as many days. Most relaxing summer in years.

Mentoring foster children this summer, packed a picnic and introduced them to Blues Fest on the lake.

This month I started selling chocolate chip cookies for Aidil Fitri festive. Ice cream will make a nice giant choc chip cookie sandwich. My nieces n nephews would be so giddy on the sugar rush + brain freeze.
My 3 kids (all boys; ages 10, 7, and 4) and I took an impromptu road trip this past Saturday. We drove about 40 minutes out of town and was able to admire some beautiful river and mountain scenery. We parked and walked back and forth over a bridge that is over the Delaware river and connects NY and PA. On the way home my oldest said it was the best road trip ever. We had a blast. :)
I just got back from visiting my boyfriend in England! Best way to spend a summer is to get out of this crazy California heat! But he also spent two weeks out here and I got to do lots of touristy things with him. It was a blast.
Well my funnest thing hasn’t happened yet but I’m going to Las Vegas in 2 days! Since it’s been so hot there, I’m certainly going to need something cold (like ice cream) to help cool me down ;-)
