I had the most wonderful, incredible, emotional and unforgettable few days at the first-ever international cake pop conference in Philadelphia this weekend hosted by KCBakes. I was the keynote speaker and shared my story of creating cake pops back in 2008. It was the most humbling experience talking to so many people whose lives have been touched by cake pops. From simply inspiring creativity in the kitchen to completely changing the way people make a living through home businesses and large scale bakeries, pop products, boxes, books and more – Cake Pops are so much more than just a little ball of cake on a stick.

I really enjoy all the dishes at our Thanksgiving dinner! I don’t have a ‘favorite’ one… Turkey in the oven with vegetables, stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes with crunchy marshmallows on top, sweet and savory cranberry sauce, gravy, homemade apple and pumpkin pies… oh, and homemade bread for dipping in the juices… I love it all!! Can’t wait to get started!

My all time fav is cornbread stuffing that isnt cooked inside of the bird. I love the crunchy bits around the edge! Pair that with a bite of turkey and homemade cranberry sauce and I’m in heaven!

I love to make Sunflower bread for breakfast. My mom and always made these together for the holidays. It is made out of cinnamon roll bread and you shape them like a sunflower, each of the centers have your favorite jam placed in them and the center has pecans or almonds or walnuts and then you frost them and decorate them up for the holidays…yummy and perfect for gifts!!!! I LOVE RASPBERRY!!!!
