I had the most wonderful, incredible, emotional and unforgettable few days at the first-ever international cake pop conference in Philadelphia this weekend hosted by KCBakes. I was the keynote speaker and shared my story of creating cake pops back in 2008. It was the most humbling experience talking to so many people whose lives have been touched by cake pops. From simply inspiring creativity in the kitchen to completely changing the way people make a living through home businesses and large scale bakeries, pop products, boxes, books and more – Cake Pops are so much more than just a little ball of cake on a stick.

Thanks for a chance! My favorite “bite” of thanksgiving is a fork with a sampling of my plate on it: mashed potatoes and corn, a small piece of turkey with cranberry on it, and gravy mushed all around everything. Yum!! (But nooooo stuffing! Can’t stand the stuffing.)

My favorite side dish at Thanksgiving is Make Ahead Potate Cassorole! It can be made and even frozen ahead of time. I usually make it the day before when I clean my veggies. It’s a delicious combination of potatoes, sour cream, butter, plain cream cheese, milk and a little freshly chopped rosemary and chives all mashed together, put in a greased Cassorole and topped with seasoned breadcrumbs! Caution it has an inclination to want to stick to your hips but Thankgiving and Easter are the only times we indulge!
