I had the most wonderful, incredible, emotional and unforgettable few days at the first-ever international cake pop conference in Philadelphia this weekend hosted by KCBakes. I was the keynote speaker and shared my story of creating cake pops back in 2008. It was the most humbling experience talking to so many people whose lives have been touched by cake pops. From simply inspiring creativity in the kitchen to completely changing the way people make a living through home businesses and large scale bakeries, pop products, boxes, books and more – Cake Pops are so much more than just a little ball of cake on a stick.

The turkey!! I always cook the turkey! It’s the beginning of the holiday season when you cook the turkey and watch the parades! My kids get so excited to see and wait on the turkey to bake! It’s right up there with Santa in the excitement of the holidays!

Stuffing, cooked outside the bird, is definitely my favorite! My mom and I always make it together and we drown it in white wine, chicken broth and all things savory! It’s to die for!
Stuffing! I make the same stuffing that my grandmother made every holiday. It makes me feel good to know that a part of her lives on every time I make it.

If all the usual food is a given, then Bread Sauce is what I add to the mix, being a Brit, I’ve introduced it to Thanksgiving here. It makes such a wonderful accompaniment to turkey or ham. – with gravy too, life’s too short for those choices.
