Happy Sunday! And Happy Father’s Day, too! I’m giving away something sweet to celebrate summer and of course ice cream.
You know, I think I could eat ice cream every day. It’s always my favorite go-to treat when I travel… but I never really get ice cream at restaurants. That just seems boring. Probably because it’s not as fun as going into a scoop shop and looking all the pretty creamy colors. And I always prefer eating ice cream out of a cup. I don’t like to eat it out of a cone because I’m way messy. So if I do get it in a cone, it’s just so I can snap a picture of it. Then I turn it upside down and dump it in a cup and eat it with a spoon – or better yet – I like to break up the waffle cone (never a sugar cone) and use it to scoop out the ice cream. I may be weird.
Okay, back to the giveaway.

It depends on my mood. LOL Sometimes I’m in a Rocky-Road kind of mood and sometimes Rainbow Sherbet takes me away! But I do find myself reaching for Vanilla on more occasions than one. :)

Jeni’s Salty Caramel is my favoritest flavor on the planet, in a nice big dish is fine. No other SC version I have tried is its equal (there are one or two that come thisclose). I’d be making it ALL the time if I won the ice cream maker! =)

I love Mexican chocolate ice cream — rich dark chocolate with a hit of cinnamon and something spicy (chipotle is my favorite, but as long as it burns, I’ll love it!). I’m one of those people who loves ice cream in tiny quantities — I’ll keep a pint in my freezer and take it out periodically for just a spoonful.

Definitely chocolate!! I like it on top of a crispy on the outside soft on the inside waffle the best! with maple syrup and other toppings like fruit, almonds etc. I wouldn’t mind some chocolate chips or sprinkles too hehe.
I love old fashioned vanilla and topping it with peaches or strawberries in the summer. Simple and delicious… Although sandwiching vanilla in between two warm chocolate chip cookies never hurt anyone either! :)
even though I am obsessed with chocolate, I have a huge weakness for butter pecan. If I am in an area that has it though, cardamom ice cream is A M A Z I N G. If you ever have a chance to try some you must! Its a staple at Indian ice cream shops
My favorite flavor is definitely pistacchio! I went to Italy last summer and we had at least one gelato a day. I can draw you a map of the best pistacchio gelato in Italy! (Bologna has amazing ice cream parlors).

Homemade vanilla with butterfinger has always been my favorite.

Coffee ice cream! With hearh bar mixed in or with oreos and hot fudge aka mud pie! Years ago Starbucks made a mud pie ice cream that was the best! Then they made all these changes and discontinued that flavor. :(

Any ice cream or frozen yogurt with chocolate and peanut butter. Reeses or bear tracks either one is fine. I will eat it out of anything but a fresh waffle cone is best. Who can resist the smell of a waffle cone baking? Who’s hungry?

Oh my, choosing my favorite ice cream is like being asked to choose my favorite child! Well actually its probably Harder :) World Class Chocolate might just edge out the others for store bought (please don’t tell Pralines and Cream, Mint Chocolate Chip or Cotton Candy with sprinkles my secret) You can’t beat homemade Strawberry ice cream when I can get to the strawberries in the garden before my grandkids and then find some big strong person willing to crank the freezer :) My prefrence is to eat ice cream in a cup with a silver teaspoon I inhearited but I’ll take it any way I can get it! <3

I like to eat my ice cream in a waffle cone. I eat the ice cream with the cone. I like having the soft ice cream and the crunch of the waffle cone in each bite. Every time I go home I visit my favorite ice cream shop and have Rocky Road ice cream (can’t find it here).

My all time childhood and still my favorite is Rainbow Sherbet! Knowing that I can taste different citrus (fruity ) flavors mixed in all together in a double scoop in a bowl was delicious.
