I’m hosting a fun giveaway today from my publisher, Chronicle Books. Last year they launched a GIVE BOOKS holiday campaign to encourage people to share the love of books during the holiday season, to support local bookstores and to help promote literacy. And I’m excited that they are doing it again this year. But this year they are doing it bigger. Giving bigger. They’ve joined forces with First Book, a non-profit organization that provides access to new books for children in need. And for every #GiveBooks tweet, pin, and online pledge, Chronicle Books will donate a children’s book to First Book.
Here’s how you can help them reach their goal of giving 10,000 books this holiday with a simple tweet, pin or pledge.
And now let me show you ten books I picked out from Chronicle that I want to give this holiday. They’re cookbooks of course. Sweet ones.
Top Pot Hand-forged Doughnuts
Secrets for the Home Baker
Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey
Desserts for the Serious Sweet Tooth! Every one of the recipes in this book are calling my name.
Cake Pops Holidays
Hmmm… this one looks familiar. I couldn’t resist : )
Pretzel Making at Home

Hand-crafted Candy Bars

Flour, too
Joanne Chang shares recipes for her Café’s most loved sweets and savories.

Pretzel Making at Home or Top Pot Hand-forged Doughnuts!
I have been wanting to make my own pretzels :)
How funny! My mom was just visiting me and we saw The Model Bakery Cookbook and she fell in love, but didn’t want to get it because they are moving. I would LOVE to give that to her for the Holidays. They all look incredible so I would love any of them!
Book that sounds fun to give away would be the Cake Pops #3 Holidays and the one I like to get the most would be #1Top Pot Hand-forged Doughnuts. Seriously, I would want ALL the books.
I love pretzels so that would be a great book and of course the cake pop book! Thanks for the chance!
I would love the Peanuts cupcake liners. They’re adorable!!
I love, love cook books of all shapes and sizes!!! Cooking and baking are two of my favorite past times! But, since my kitchen décor is a French Café I would have to keep the The Little Paris Kitchen for myself and share the others with my daughters for Christmas!
I’m a Boston girl so Flour, too is my pick.
Oh, yum! I’m thinking I would love the Sticky Chewy one. Yup, messy, that’s me.
MMmmm. So yummy! I’m thinking the candy bar book. Fun!
The book The Little Paris Kitchen by Rachel Khoo sounds fabulous. I’d love to add this to my collection.
Books are the best! Novels, travel guides, cookbooks, all of them! My mom always said it was important to get a cookbook for Christmas because there is truly nothing better than spending the day by the fire flipping through your new cookbook. :) I share this opinion! I would want the Tartine cookbook. Bakeries are my favorite! So cute and cuddly and warm.
Hand Crafted Candy Bars looks so scrumptious. I make baked goods quite often but I think I would be voted Queen around here if I were to give out homemade candy bars! I can only imagine the chocolaty goodness contained in that book. ME ME ME :)
I can’t get past cookbook #1 (picture of donuts AND bacon!!) and cookbook #2 (sticky, chewy, messy, gooey … stop it!) but I’m definitely leaning toward #2! I’ve already bought 2 cookbooks for hubby to give to me for Xmas (he hates shopping, don’t ask) and have more books in mind to give to the kiddos. Thanks for posting the discount & free shipping …woohoo!
I would love tartine!
I would love to own: Flour Too, and gift someone The Little Paris Kitchen!

I would love to receive Hand-crafted Candy Bars! It looks like so much fun!!
Handmade candy bars! I am in!
These are all so beautiful and tempting, but it’s a tie between Hand-Crafted Candy Bars and The Model Bakery for me. Last year I gifted Holiday Cake Pops to my best friend and her daughters, so this year it’ll have to be Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey for my sister. Great gift idea and great giveaway!
I love Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey :)
They all look great, but the title “Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey” would make me pick that book up off the shelf.

I’m a pretzel lover but have never made them myself so Pretzel Making at Home would be great to receive!
All of them look amazing however, I’d go with The Model Bakery Cookbook.
Oh the Model Bakery! They all look wonderful, but that one…mmm…
Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey!!! Anyone that is human has to love all of those things! So it would be so easy to share this book!
I love my flour cookbook, so I would love the flour too cookbook!
Sticky messy looks like a cookbook I would use, but I would definitely try a doughnut or four on Hanukkah.
Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey is right up my alley but I would love them all.
They all sound really good. I’m more of a sweet tooth that I would take the cake pops and learn to make them for a bake sale. They all would make great gifts for a beginner or master cooker/baker.

TARTINE NO.3!!! I grew up in SF and Tartine is my favorite bakery.
The Model Bakery looks great!
As a Seattle resident I love Top Pot so it would be fun to find out how they make their doughnuts so deliciously addictive.
Choose just one????? I think I would say the pretzel cookbook but the doughnut one is close behind. Good thing you are giving them all as the prize so I wouldn’t have to choose one.
Tartine Book No. 3! I love that place!!!
I would love to get the donut book and Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey!!! All of my favorites and goodies I can’t resist!
They all look amazing, but I think the Snoopy looks super fun!!

My favorite is Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey! But i would love to have them all!
Oh My! I just stumbled across your website and will definitelly bookmark it. And the books…. All of them were definite keepers but since I just got my professional model Kichenaid stand mixer, I am really liking the Tartine Book No. 3 – I mean bread and pastries… How can you go wrong with that! Now that I told you my fave, I also have to say that the Flour Too looked really, really good, and the Handcrafted Candy Bars — I’ve always wanted to do that! Too much fun! This could take a full day in bed looking at cookbooks! Love it. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to win these books.
I have to choose just one?! I would give the Snoopy cupcake set to a friend, if I could bear to part with it. I’d probably like to receive the pretzel book myself, as it’s something I haven’t made yet and it’s seriously about time I did (especially cinnamon sugar ones)

This selection looks so amazing that it’s hard to choose. But if I had to, the first one I’d open is the pretzel book since warm pretzels of any flavor is my weakness!
Snoopy and Friends!! Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus and the gang are my “comfort nonfood” for the holidays!
Sticky, Messy Chewy, Gooey looks amazing! that would definitely be one I’d love to get. and the adorable snoppy set or the awesome cake pops books would be my gives since I can think of someone for each that would just love them.
