This post doesn’t involve baking from this weekend
but there’s something pretty sweet at the end I think you’ll like.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Okay, so I’ve been out of town for the last two weekends. First, Chicago for the Home and Housewares Show…
and last weekend somewhere a little bit warmer.
I was in sunny Florida for a weekend conference full of learning and sharing with friends – and a bunch of food and fun thrown in.
Food Blog Forum Orlando. Put on by Jaden Hair of Steamy Kitchen, Todd & Diane of White On Rice Couple, Julie Deily of The Little Kitchen and Dawn Viola.
And sponsored by Disney, Kitchenaid, OXO, Land O’ Lakes, Whole Foods, Le Creuset and more.
The meeting was held at Walt Disney World and it was amazing. So well done. Julie from the Little Kitchen knows how to put together a great event. I was there with a bunch of great speakers. (See the whole group here) Alison Lewis (Ingredients, Inc.) and I spoke at round table discussions on writing a cookbook. I really enjoyed the round table set up because we were able to talk one-on-one with people and that’s much more my speed. I don’t think I’d be very good at getting up in front of a big room of people and talking. There would be a lot of umms and likes and pauses I’m sure.
On the evening before the meeting, we had a beautiful outdoor reception at the Grand Floridian. My sweet friend Jenny (Picky Palate) and I met some great girls. Nikki (Pennies on a Platter), Krissy (Krissy’s Creations), Julie (Table for Two) and Rachel (The Fabulous Foodie). Hi girls. Thanks for making Magic Kingdom such a blast!
We hit up a few rides and went on a search for Dole Whip and churros before the park closed. It was my first time trying either. So yum! Thanks for sharing these phone pics girls.
We spent all day Saturday at Epcot where the meeting was held.
It was definitely a special place to have a meeting. Not only were there great speakers, yummy treats, amazing prizes, like stand mixers and refrigerators, Le creusets and more but when we were done, we had a huge world to explore.
If only I could have seen it all. I’ve never been to Epcot. I had no idea how ginormous this park was. Actually, I still don’t know how big it is. But that’s okay because what I did see was perfect.
We had an incredible lunch extravaganza prepared by Disney chefs from the parks and hotels.
I focused on dessert of course.
Lunch gave us all more time to talk.
Here’s Lauren’s Latest, Julie, Krissy and Jenny.
And I finally finally met Elise from Simply Recipes. Yay! Hope we can chat more next time.
Alison and Jenny. Love you guys.
And sweet, sweet Julie. Again, great job on pulling this event together.
On Sunday we had a brunch hosted by Whole Foods. Incredible food means the cameras come out.
See what I mean. That’s Dawn in the back, Julie and Jenny, and then Lindsey (Love and Olive Oil) in the front.
This might be one of my favorite pics from the weekend. It just makes me giggle at how we all do the same thing as bloggers. It’s almost uncontrollable when you have a camera in your hand.
But in our defense, the flowers were pretty cheery.
I enjoyed this weekend so much.
Hi Emily (Sage Recipes) and Kiran (Kirantarun)! It was nice meeting you both. Hope to see you again. And you too Droolius and Simply Southern Baking.
Thanks for a weekend of great memories with old friends and new!

So now the fun part.
I’m having an amazing giveaway today.
If you read last week’s post, you may remember some of the new products I talked about from the Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. One of them was this Kitchenaid mixer in Crystal Blue, the brand new color from the Catalina Collection that I fell in love with.
Well, I met some of the folks from Kitchenaid in Chicago for the first time and and then coincidentally, we met again in Orlando the very next weekend as they were one of the sponsors of Food Blog Forum. It was a surprise to see them two weeks in a row. We talked about how much I loved the brand new color they debuted in Chicago and we thought it would be a fun giveaway here on bakerella.com.
Want to brighten up your kitchen and be one of the first people to own a mixer in this brand new, bright blue color courtesy of Kitchenaid? I know I would. It’s such a happy color. And much more vibrant in person.

oh and FYI – the Crystal Blue color should be available for purchase starting sometime in April.
Reading all of your sweet choices are driving me crazy. I have cravings now for way too many treats.
I don’t know if I could pick just one either. But warm brownies and ice cream are always a safe bet for me. No nuts. No whipped cream. No syrup. Plain and simple chocolate and vanilla. Warm and cold deliciousness.
Okay, ready for the winner?
It’s comment #6224 – Leann
Congratulations and enjoy your bright blue baby. Hope you make lots of amazing desserts and smile every time you look at it.
And big thanks to Kitchenaid for supplying the mixer in this beautiful blue.
If I could only eat one kind of sweet/dessert for the rest of my life it would have to be CREPES! I love them! Sprinkle them with cinnamon, fill them with fruit or pudding or make a blintz! Yum! Thanks for showing the beautiful Crystal Blue Kitchenaid mixer to us!
A chocolate chip cookie with caramel and sea salt! Thanks for the giveaway. :)
That blue mixer would look great in my kitchen!!! My forever favorite dessert would probably be chocolate molten cake. Something about the warm oooey, gooey just does it for me.
From scratch butter recipe yellow cake with buttercream chocolate frosting. Oh and use almond extract instead of vanilla in the frosting! Delish!
Fudgy brownies for sure, with coconut and pecans in them if possible.
Homemade Coconut cream pie
Chocolate chip cookies – seriously, I’ve never gotten tired of those things!
Thanks for having this amazing giveaway!
Apple pie with HOMEMADE vanilla ice cream. Don’t get much better than that!
No question: peanut butter ice-cream fresh outta my cuisinart! With some jelly on the top or maybe some white choc and macadamia fudge :) I could live off the stuff!
I would have to say chocolate cake with ganache filling . I can’t live without chocolate, can’t live without cake. This way, I’d have both! LOVE the blue Kitchenaid!
It would have to be cheesecake for me. Everything else I can take or leave, but cheesecake always calls my name. I don’t care what type or how it is prepared I love it all.
Mixed berry crisp with vanilla bean ice cream! Reminds me of summers in Oregon!
That would be like choosing one of my children over the other! But if I had to have only one thing forever… it would have to be my oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The recipe is from childhood and makes me feel warm and fuzzy, especially when the cookies are warm and… not fuzzy, gooey. Mmmm.
Only one, it would have to be peanut clusters. So easy to make and make me feel healthy because of the peanut (LOL).
my favorite dessert is angel food cake , betty crocker original recipe w/ lots of sugar and eggs !
I would have to say french vanilla icecream topped with a chocolate covered strawberry.
Millefoglie for ever! This is my favorite and my best. Thank you for all the joy you give me
Vanilla creme brulee with fresh berries.
Cookies and cream ice cream
If you could only eat one kind of sweet/dessert for the rest of your life, what would choose?
Ice cream I suppose – coffee flavored or cherry chocolate
You can never go wrong with chocolate cake and a cold glass of milk. Just mentioning it makes me what to go bake a chocolate cake!!!
Only one? Creme brulee, hands down. I love the texture, the contrast between the cool creme and the carmelized sugar. It’s divine!
definitely homemade french vanilla icecream with fresh strawberries. never gets old!
I would eat chocolate cupcakes with 7 minute frosting. Do they still call it that? It’s fluffy and white, made with boiling water and egg whites and sugar. Mmmmm, yummy!
I would love to eat baked custard…I know kinda boring but when it is made right in a gentle oven bath with nutmeg sprinkled evenly over the top and served warm it just comforts me.
My favorite dessert is strawberry shortcake – with homemade shortcake. I can eat it nonstop and rationlize it is healthy, since it has visible fruit in it!
Nothin but C H O C O L A T E M O U S S E…..
I would have to pick Coconut Tres Leches cake!
Really moist chocolate brownie with fudge in between topped with LOADS of gooey caramel!! YUM!
Strawberries with a touch of sugar and whipped cream.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. That way, I wouldn’t have to choose between chocolate and peanut butter. Homemade varieties work too- love me some Buckeye Balls!
Frosted sugar cookie yumm
Oh goodness… This is a tough question for a girl that has an unsatisfiable sweet tooth. I’d have to go with oatmeal, raisin, white chocolate chip, pistachio cookies. :] They’re the perfect combination of sweet, salty, & (semi) healthy.
Chocolate Ice Cream!
coconut cream cake. nothing else could ever compare..
My Mom’s fresh apple cake – oh so yummy!
It would have to be banoffee pie
I would probably have to choose a chewy chocolate cookie.
Chocolate chip cookies! Always have been my favorite cookies, especially fresh out of the oven!
If I could only eat one sort of sweet for the rest of for ever, I would probably go with milkshakes. They’re a special treat for me and my beau, and they have endless possibilities!
My favorite…chocolate-chocolate chip cupcake with raspberry filling, raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream, and a chocolate drizzle over the top. Mmm mmm mmm.
Yah! It was SO great meeting you! I had such a fun time! Can’t wait until another fun get together :). What a great giveaway! I’m loving that new color :)
Chocolate chip cookies, warm out of the oven! Always, reliably delicious!
My favourite dessert would be either just simple Häagen Dazs strawberry cheesecake ice cream or selfmade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Could eat them both every day…
Homemade chocolate pie with coolwhip!!!! MmMmMmM Yup for the rest of my life. :)
Random timing for this! I just enjoyed the best dessert last night and thought I’d share. I purchased it at “Fresh and Easy” grocery store. I forget the name but it has a grahm cracker base, with rolled oats, white chococlate chips, and so much more goodness. It was in their refrigerated section by all of their other equally delicious looking desserts. So it’s considered a bar, but almost like a fancy shmancy granola bar! It was to die for! I’m actually going back tonight to get more … :)
hot chocolate chip cookies would never get boring! I would eat them for ever!
Definitely chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream ….. Best of both worlds!!! The ice cream AND the chocolate chips :). Yummy!!!!!
I think if I could only eat one dessert it would be a slice of New York style cheesecake, with a side of cool, sweet and tangy raspberry puree and a side of warm, smooth rich dark chocolate ganache.
That’s easy!! Key lime pie!!
That color is beautiful! And, It’s coming out right in time for my birthday!
Brownies, preferably bite sized cheesecake brownies, but I would settle for just plain chocolate brownies. They are perfect. YUM!
chocolate chip cookies. Love them and they are always ALWAYS good! MMMM….
I would pick chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel frosting – perfect flavor combination!
Salted caramel chocolate cheesecake bars! I am drooling thinking about these!
Chocolate Mousse, Num num num num…
Ooohhh I love that color!!!
My favorite dessert that I could eat forever is Red velvet cheesecake cake! Sounds rich but it is DELICIOUS!!! :D
Tough decision. I think I would have to go with Snickerdoodles. Couldn’t go without the buttery cinnamon crunch for the rest of my life.
I would choose a chocolate-iced chocolate chip cookie!
I would probably eat chocolate cream pie. It’s got chocolate (a must), but isn’t necessarily overly decadent.
Wow, what a great post…thanks so much for sharing. It looks like so much fun. I hope someday my blog will grow large enough for me to go to a conference like this! As for my one and only dessert, it would have to be cheesecake. Perfect, silky, smooth, creamy cheesecake…with a drizzle of raspberry syrup.
If I had to pick only one it would be a dessert that I got at the Publix Bakery called Strawberry and Peach Sensation, I realize its from a bakery and if I could figure out how to make it I would. Its so amazing and light…it’s three moist layers of vanilla cake, sweet Bavarian cream, and vanilla whipped topping. Fresh strawberries, peaches, kiwis, and red grapes grace the top of the cake while toasted almonds hug the sides…this is my all time favorite and because its so light I’d eat it everyday if I could. So if anyone knows how to make it please let me know.
Lemon Bars! Every time I make them, they are different…but I still love ’em!
PLEASE don’t say I actually only get one dessert! The thought just makes me so sad! I love so many things – but if I HAD to pick, it would have to be cheesecake. Just plain ‘ol cheesecake – no toppings. I love how it’s creamy and just a little sour and sorta sweet – the best of all worlds, in my book!
Lemon cake with strawberries and bavarian cream filling with lemon buttercream frosting and a scoop of french vanilla ice cream.
i’d love to win this-we are moving to our new home in three weeks and i’ve got an empty kitchen!
i love baked goods, but if i were forced to eat only one dessert the rest of my life, it would hands down be thai sticky rice with mango. the salty sweet is perfection.
Please pick me, oh Random picker! I would bake batch upon batch upon batch of Sugar Cookies, followed by Bakers One Bowl Brownies, with my personal modificatoins (- 1/2 cup suage and + 1 teas. salt)
If i could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life it would have to be pumpkin pie! Yum!
Thank you!
creme brulee. i just LOVE how the sugar cracks. it’s always worth the extra wait to get the sugar to harden after torching.
Dulce de Leche ice cream!
Wow this is a tough one. I guess I would have to pick an ice cream sandwich made out of chocolate chip cookies with rockky road.
Thanks for the amazing opportunity to win!
Hmm… this is a hard choice!! I’m a chocolate person all the way…homemade salted caramel brownies :)
Oh my, my sweet tooth brain just exploded. Just one? Hmm, either cannolis, strawberry cheesecake, or lemon sour cream pie.
It would have to be dark chocolate. While it’s more boring than, say, a cookie, good quality dark chocolate can satisfy almost any sweet tooth.
Tough choice, but i would have to say mint choco chip ice cream!
Freshly baked angel food cake with fresh strawberries! Mmmm
Should really try answering the question. It would be Strawberry Torte made the the pastry chef husband of one of my co-workers. He makes the most fantastic, old-fashioned buttercream and the strawberry filling adds a bright, freshness that cuts the richness. It’s absolutely my fav!
triple layer Tuxedo cake. Delicious!
Raspberries in cream with some sugar on top.
(warm chocolate chip cookies with milk and black forest cake with buttery chocolate icing and raspberry jam inside are a close second and third!)
p.s. I just moved out on my own and have no kitchen appliances yet so this mixer would be a dream come true right now. I could whip up madaleines like a pro!
<3
If i had to pick one i would choose a chocolate and fudge cake i eat every time there is a birthday in my family!, i love it. I add some milk and i cant stop eating it. :)
i hope this is capable of flying over the ocean :D ;)
dutch ‘spritsen’, a dutch cookie, with one side dipped in chocolate mmmmmmm
Chocolate cake, with a great filling and ganache for icing,,, I cant seem to get enough of it. Thanks!
My grandmothers chocolate cake!!
Hmmmm for the rest of my life? Chocolate mousse cake. It’s chocolatey, creamy, cakey and mousse-y (is that a word?) all at once so it would cover all of the bases that I can’t live without!
I know it’s simple, but I would pick Chocolate Chip cookies. Sweet but not too much so that I would grow tired of them.
Oh gosh. I think I’d have to pick popcorn with butter, salt and chocolate syrup. Sounds crazy, I know, but it’s the perfect combo of salty, sweet and chocolate.
That mixer is adorbale !! Matches the color of my converse (:
The one sweet treat i love to pieces is Macadamia nut & white chocolate chip brownies topped off with coconut shavings. DELISH ! I can never just make one tray and this mixer would save my arm from using the whisk by hand !
Congrats Bakerella on making it so far ! i love reading your blog… it’s never enough and theres just so many yummy ideas to try for the entire family :)
-carisma
I would choose double cream blueberry pie. It is so yum.
“Maids of Honour” ~ they are these little delicious desserts that are sort of like a tart, I guess. I happened upon them accidentally when preparing for my best fruend’s bridal shower. I fell in love with simply their name at first (because of course they were for a bridal shower), but then one bite and I was sold… Yum!
Only ONE sweet? for the rest of my LIFE?????? that’s just a miserable thought.
OK – Store bought white cake with lard icing and vanilla ice cream. I know, I know. Pitiful. It must be some sort of childhood memory coming through.
Second choice – Sprinkles red velvet cupcake. :)
I’m a girl of simple tastes! Strawberries with Almond Cinnamon Whipped Cream.
I would have to say key lime pie – Yum and Yum!
One dessert forever? It HAS to be individual serving Key Lime Pies that come in those little plastic ice cream cups with the wooden stick for eating. I practically lived off those during my childhood summers in the Florida Keys!
Strawberry Vanilla Cake :) It would be great in a cake pop form too :)))
If I could only pick one…. it would be chocolate cheesecake mmm! I am such a choco-halic! :-)
5444 comments, but I must try. This would be fantastic for my niece.
Nutella French toast with flambé strawberries!!!
My favorite dessert is a warm cookie or cookies with ice cream on top.
My husbands favorite is my extra cake left over from a customers carved cake warmed with ice cream mixed in a vegetable bowl not a dessert bowl.
I would choose a bar cookie that my mom has made for as long as I can remember. We have always called them Almond Roca Bars but they really are nothing like Almond Roca and they don’t even have almonds in them! They have a soft sweet shortbread crust with melted milk chocolate on top and chopped walnuts on top of that and I love them!!
My local bakery makes the best chocolate ganache cake that I could eat daily. Its just the right texture and right mix of chocolate that’s not too sweet and oh so good.
I might have to leave now to go to the bakery…
I am going to say Pistachio Creme Brule….I could eat it every day and still want more :)
i would have to say something like mint brownies. super thick mint frosting with chocolate brownie underneath mmmmm
Chocolate ice cream!
just one?? Hmmm, have to stick with a basic – chocolate chip cookies, half baked, of course.
Wow…That’s a really tough question! Vanilla icecream and peanut b utter right out of the jar (at the same time!) is most definitely my most go-to guilty pleasure!
I would definitely pick red velvet cupcakes with mini chocolate chips….I love chocolate and you can’t beat the cream chesse frosting. Yum!
One dessert….hmmmm
I would pick vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, peanut butter sauce, and crushed reese’s cups.
YUMMO!
The Whole Foods Chantilly Berry Cake is my all time favorite-made with marscapone, the frosting is not too heavy and very delicious as well as pretty!!
Thanks for the chance to win such a beautiful mixer.
I love all kinds of desserts, but the one sweet that I’ll never pass on is a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts. It can be thick and dense or thin and chewy. It doesn’t matter. I’ll eat it!
Apple crisp with a shortbread cookie crust and french vanilla ice cream!!! mmmm
Oh wow that’s a tough one cuz I’m a LOVER of all things sweet! It would have to be the delishesly, chocolatey 27-layer chocolate cake at the Strip House restaurant at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV!!….or even my homemade individual s’more pies since I can’t go to Vegas everyday lol ;(
IF I just had to pick one….it would be a homemade chocolate lava cake with fresh whipped cream. YUM :) Thanks for the chance to win!
I don’t know what to call them, but for me it would be these no bake peanut butter/chocolate/oatmeal drop cookies my dad used to make. Chewy from the oatmeal but tasted of peanut butter and chocolate. They were a whiz to make (although if you let the mixture boil too long they’d never harden….which wasn’t so bad because who doesn’t want to eat soft peanut buttery chocolatey amazingness?) and my dad ALWAYS could be persuaded to make them.
To this day they are my absolute FAVORITE cookie. And I consider myself quite the cookie aficionado!
chocolate beet cake from Joy the Baker’s website. My husband took some in to the office and they want me to make it again!
I would have to say I would eat ice cream forever. It’d have to be either a fudge swirl or a strawberry swirl, but not just plain vanilla. Nom
Since my dessert needs (wants) follow my mood, imagination, inspiration… I don’t have a favourite, only for each state that I am in. I readily admit that I need chocolate. So I think it would have to be a classic, rich, soft, creamy two-layer dark chocolate cake with a faint taste of coffee. And lots of butter. It always goes straight “home”.
I could never not eat chocolate chips. So if I have to pick a specific snack, I would have to say chocolate chip cookies. I eat one for breakfast, one after work, after dinner, sometimes in the middle of the night ! I also eat chips as a snack constantly, I cannot imagine giving those up, ever ! But I am just a chocolate lover in general.
This would be great for me, my mom and I bake cookies every Christmas and just don’t have the money to buy one of these. Thanks so much for the opportunity ! :)
If I could only choose one dessert for the rest of my life it would be my mom’s homemade chocolate chip cowboy cookies! They have oatmeal & chocolate chips! what could be better! they are amazing!!!!
My favourite dessert is kürtös kalács (Chimney Cake in english). It is a Hungarian dessert that is baked on a tapered cylindrical spit over an open fire. It has sugar on the outside that caramelizes as it bakes. It is so so delicious!
Wow nice trip! And the blue Kitchenaid looks sweet, it’s not fair that you chose such a difficult question… Mmm I guess I’ll go with brownies. Maybe with dulce de leche and cream on top for some extra indulgence :)
Mmmmm…. Simply a cheese custart call in P.R (flan de queso) i love it !!!!!
How fun!! Oh, such a very hard decision but definately something chocolate…I think I’d pick a rich chocolate sheet cake I make from scratch, named after the person who gave me the recipe many, many years ago-Mary’s chocolate cake!! It’s always been the family birthday cake.
My only dessert for the rest of my life would for sure be Tiramisu!
Butter Tarts! I got addicted after I had my son.
Vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries, please!
:)
double chocolate pecan brownie topped with sticky chewy caramel
I would eat Chocolate Peanutbutter Ice Cream – my favorite.
Chocolate cupcakes!!!!!!
I think I’d have to pick blondies. They are so versatile and so flexible and soooo yummy! If that’s too generic, I’m going to say chocolate chip coconut blondies.
Oh I have to go with the most amazing cake I made for my boyfriend for Valentine’s day it’s Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate Cake Cheesecake from sprinklebakes.com
I would have to say Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Not only are they scrumptious and chewy, but also great with the healthy oatmeal as part of them :) They are my comfort food and pair great with hot chocolate around the fire with my adorable kids. My whole family loves them!
Mint Oreo Truffles!
Banana Cream Pie….yummmm
Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate cupcakes!!!!
If I had to pick only one dessert I would pick strawberry shortcake. Not only do I love it but it also elicits very happy memories of when I was young.
So jealous! I love DisneyLand and you looked like you had a great time. Tough question! It’s a contest between linzer tarts with confectionery sugar, my aunt Rose’s chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and my landlady’s chocolate yeasty rolls. Can I choose all three?
That is such a hard question! How do I pick just one?! I would probably have to say lemon cake with chocolate frosting, perfect combination :)
Love your posts bakerella! They are so inspiring. Coming from an italian family I would say my moms awesome tiramisu. Its like no other..creamy with just the right touch of coffee!
If I had to pick one dessert I never tire of, it would be white cake with whipped cream frosting. Coffee macarons come in a close second…perhaps it could be a topping for my cake! Love love love the blue mixer! I’ve always regretted not buying the Martha Stewart KitchenAid. This might be my second chance.
Cherry Pie: forever in my heart, dreams aaaand belly.
Bread pudding!!!! oh, any kind !! ;)
I would eat Barefoot Contessa’s ultimate brownies. I warm a little peanut butter and swirl it into the brownie battter before baking. SOOOO good.
OMG Awesome giveaway!!!! Drops jaw!!!
If I could eat one sweet forever and ever…Red Velvet Cheese Cake from the Cheesecake factory!
Hands DOWN!!!!
Coffee Cake with a warm cup of Java!!
Dear Bakerella,
You want to know my favourite dessert: crème brullee. There is one restaurant in Antwerp (Belgium) that makes the best crème brullee ever. I have not tasted anything like it, so good!
Creme brulee! That is, in fact, how I plan to go. OD on creme brulee.
Banana Bread :)
Angel Food Cake!! <3
My fave is red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.
I love flourless chocolate cake!
Lemon Ice Box Pie!!!!
I would have to say that my absolute favorite dessert would have to be tiramisu, any variation of it will do. It is like the best of every world, cakeish, cookieish, puddingish, chocolate, vanilla, coffee there are so many possibilities and now that I have drooled on myself I will leave it at that..LOL
Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies!!
I would eat my Nutella brownies… seriously rich chocolate brownies with Nutella on top with mini-chocolate chips and walnuts.. Who doesn’t want to put that in their belly?
Brownies!!!
I loooove that color Kitchenaid!
Ice cream. Hands down. I’m not sure what flavor — probably cookies and cream or mint and chip!
I would have to be chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache and whipped white chocolate ganache filling with a whipped chocolate ganache frosting!
Rainbow chip cupcake cones. That frosting is still so delicious to me, and I always feel like a little kid eating them out of the ice cream cones! :)
I’ll go with Belgium waffles! Warm from the oven, with whipped cream and powdered sugar.. YUM!
My grandma’s almond biscotti. She would bake them only once so they remained soft – just how I like them!
Definitely ice cream! Any flavor! All year round! Yes, even when it’s snowing outside! :-) Favorite chocolate malted crunch only sold at Rite Aid drugstores! <3
White cake with homemade buttercream frosting! I could eat the frosting without the cake! YUM YUM!!
If I could only pick one dessert to eat for the rest of my life it would be Plush Pippin Apple Pie.
I would go for tiramisu cupcakes and snickerdoodle cookies YUMMO!!!!!
WOW! That’s a really, really hard choice! I guess I would go with…. hmm…. lemon poppy seed cake!! Yum! :)
oatmeal chocolate chip cookies – my absolute favorite!
There’s a pie known here as ‘Hamse Kluts’.
You bake the bottom part and halfway the baking process, you pour a mixture of eggs and sugar and let it bake for a while…
it’s so moist and sweet, and my all time favourite.
this is by far the most amazing give-away i’ve ever tried to win…
Love this blue mixer! I would eat chewy chocolate chip cookies, with lots of chocolate and a glass of milk.
I would say something like cookies bc I love cookies, but I cant live without pumpkin pie so it would have to be that. Come turkey day and. I pumpkin pie and this is one sad girl.
i would totally choose german chocolate cake. ohhh gosh. drool
That is so cute! Love the color! My dessert would be espresso cupcakes… They are so good!
I would love this mixer! If i could only eat one sweet for the rest of my life it would have to Jenny’s (picky palate) biscoff spread stuffed white chocolate chip cookies, my fave combo: biscoff and white chocolate.
Chocolate cake, no question about it!
I would pick a Hostess Orange cupcake…..They consistently taste the same, they are light and tasty and perfect in summer and winter…for morning or night….and the little swirl of icing on the top is nostalgic….it’s the same as it was when I was a kid! I think they scream cute.
I would have Ben and Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk. That is seriously the most addicting and delicious thing I have ever eaten!
Simple 70% dark chocolate – doesn’t matter what brand.
salted oatmeal toffee chocolate chip cookies. and love that mixer-it’s carolina blue and I’m a Tarheel!
Such a hard decision but it would have to be carrot cake … my Uncle Jamie’s Carrot Cake. It is so good that one taste and you are addicted for life and only Uncle Jamie’s version will satisfy. I brought one to work once and my co-workers (all healthy eaters) devoured it before lunch and even now, years and two jobs later, whenever I see some of those co-workers they ask about Uncle Jamie and his carrot cake : )
My mom’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Hi Bakerella! I must say I wish I had your job… :)
I am a chocoholic at heart and I never get tired of milk and white chocolate, so I have to say if I was only to eat one sweet for the rest of eternity then it would have to be the choc swirl fudge brownies that one of my colleagues’ wives sends in to work with him every couple of weeks. They are just so delightfully melt-in-your-mouth good with just enough crunch to make your knees weak! No matter the diet I am attempting to uphold there is no way I can say no when he hovers that tupperware box by my desk. :)
Hmmmm….my favorite dessert forever…it’s so hard to pick!! I think it would be my mom/grandma’s recipe for chocolate chip bars! They are to die for when they come out of the oven!
I would love to enter your fantastic giveaway! My color scheme in my kitchen would definitely be the new blue!
If I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life, it would be the Betty Crocker brownie/choco chip cookie bars. Thanks to Bakerella’s tutorial of this delicious recipe, I’ve made this on many occasions and it’s always been a hit.
Thanks Bakerella!
Red Velvet Cake
If I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life, it would have to be this Blueberry Boy Bait cake I found on smittenkitchen.com. It is so incredibly moist, and every time I make it, everyone loves it! I would never get tired of it! Like the name, so far every man that has tried this blueberry falls in love with it! It definitely holds up to its name, so good that I want some right now!
One dessert…hmmmm….would have to include chocolate, that’s for sure…I’d have to say…the chocolate souffle that I had in Hawaii on my honeymoon.
A cookie bottom sundae from Ghiradelli Square in San Francisco. It’s a warm chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream, homemade hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry.
I’d eat it everyday if I could.
I would want peanut butter cookies, they are always good
So very hard to pick just one, but I would probably pick Cotton Pickin Cake because it is so yummy and easy to make and satisfies my insides and gives me comfort like no other dessert!
First, let me say I wish I could have been a lady bug on your shoulder these past couple weeks, sounds like an amazing experience!
Second, there aren’t many questions that leave me speechless, but you got me here (probably because I’ve been watching the Food Network all day and it’s been dessert after dessert!). I’ve never considered myself a chocolate addict, but dark chocolate truffles are such a wonderful vehicle for so many flavors – espresso, balsamic vinegar, salted caramel, herbs, fruits – how can you go wrong!?!
This is a very tough question! There are soooo many yummy desserts but if I had to only choose one it would be my Almond and strawberry Roll Cake! It is just like a band playing disco music in my mouth! I start dancing with every bite. Yummmm I think I might make some tonight! ……..There goes my diet this week!
I would eat peanut butter rice krispie treats everyday if I could. Homemade of course. But with all the corn syrup and sugar in them it is not doable! oh well. I enjoy them all the more when I make them.
Sour Cream cutout cookie with icing. So soft and sweet.
Well I would happily eat a great brownie every day of my life. There is one recipe that I have made over and over and everybody loves – BUT I made it yesterday and for the first time EVER it did not come out right – wah! So methinks I need a new KitchenAid to set it to rights!
Well made Snickerdoodles…can’t get mine as soft and chewy as I’d like
Cheesecake would be my “last dessert” I could die happy eating cheesecake for dessert for the rest of my life. It could be plain, or covered in fruit, doesn’t matter to me!
Cannoli’s YUM
I would eat Olive Gardens Black and White Cake or pumpkin cheesecake.
Chocolate mousse cake! :D
It satisfies my top 3 cravings at the same time: chocolate, mousse, and cake!! XD
ooooo i’d be just fine with chocolate chip cookies for life. yep, just fine :)
Good, old fashioned strawberry cupcake. Or Reese’s peanut butter eggs. :)
Just one…that is almost impossible but it would have to be a brownie. Doesn’t matter what kind just a brownie and a glass of milk. On a side note I have been dreaming of a kitchenaid mixer for a while and I have most of the pink kitchenaid items but I think I could figure out how to add in some blue because I love the color of that mixer!
