This post doesn’t involve baking from this weekend
but there’s something pretty sweet at the end I think you’ll like.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Okay, so I’ve been out of town for the last two weekends. First, Chicago for the Home and Housewares Show…
and last weekend somewhere a little bit warmer.
I was in sunny Florida for a weekend conference full of learning and sharing with friends – and a bunch of food and fun thrown in.
Food Blog Forum Orlando. Put on by Jaden Hair of Steamy Kitchen, Todd & Diane of White On Rice Couple, Julie Deily of The Little Kitchen and Dawn Viola.
And sponsored by Disney, Kitchenaid, OXO, Land O’ Lakes, Whole Foods, Le Creuset and more.
The meeting was held at Walt Disney World and it was amazing. So well done. Julie from the Little Kitchen knows how to put together a great event. I was there with a bunch of great speakers. (See the whole group here) Alison Lewis (Ingredients, Inc.) and I spoke at round table discussions on writing a cookbook. I really enjoyed the round table set up because we were able to talk one-on-one with people and that’s much more my speed. I don’t think I’d be very good at getting up in front of a big room of people and talking. There would be a lot of umms and likes and pauses I’m sure.
On the evening before the meeting, we had a beautiful outdoor reception at the Grand Floridian. My sweet friend Jenny (Picky Palate) and I met some great girls. Nikki (Pennies on a Platter), Krissy (Krissy’s Creations), Julie (Table for Two) and Rachel (The Fabulous Foodie). Hi girls. Thanks for making Magic Kingdom such a blast!
We hit up a few rides and went on a search for Dole Whip and churros before the park closed. It was my first time trying either. So yum! Thanks for sharing these phone pics girls.
We spent all day Saturday at Epcot where the meeting was held.
It was definitely a special place to have a meeting. Not only were there great speakers, yummy treats, amazing prizes, like stand mixers and refrigerators, Le creusets and more but when we were done, we had a huge world to explore.
If only I could have seen it all. I’ve never been to Epcot. I had no idea how ginormous this park was. Actually, I still don’t know how big it is. But that’s okay because what I did see was perfect.
We had an incredible lunch extravaganza prepared by Disney chefs from the parks and hotels.
I focused on dessert of course.
Lunch gave us all more time to talk.
Here’s Lauren’s Latest, Julie, Krissy and Jenny.
And I finally finally met Elise from Simply Recipes. Yay! Hope we can chat more next time.
Alison and Jenny. Love you guys.
And sweet, sweet Julie. Again, great job on pulling this event together.
On Sunday we had a brunch hosted by Whole Foods. Incredible food means the cameras come out.
See what I mean. That’s Dawn in the back, Julie and Jenny, and then Lindsey (Love and Olive Oil) in the front.
This might be one of my favorite pics from the weekend. It just makes me giggle at how we all do the same thing as bloggers. It’s almost uncontrollable when you have a camera in your hand.
But in our defense, the flowers were pretty cheery.
I enjoyed this weekend so much.
Hi Emily (Sage Recipes) and Kiran (Kirantarun)! It was nice meeting you both. Hope to see you again. And you too Droolius and Simply Southern Baking.
Thanks for a weekend of great memories with old friends and new!

So now the fun part.
I’m having an amazing giveaway today.
If you read last week’s post, you may remember some of the new products I talked about from the Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. One of them was this Kitchenaid mixer in Crystal Blue, the brand new color from the Catalina Collection that I fell in love with.
Well, I met some of the folks from Kitchenaid in Chicago for the first time and and then coincidentally, we met again in Orlando the very next weekend as they were one of the sponsors of Food Blog Forum. It was a surprise to see them two weeks in a row. We talked about how much I loved the brand new color they debuted in Chicago and we thought it would be a fun giveaway here on bakerella.com.
Want to brighten up your kitchen and be one of the first people to own a mixer in this brand new, bright blue color courtesy of Kitchenaid? I know I would. It’s such a happy color. And much more vibrant in person.
Enter for a chance to win this Crystal Blue 5-quart Artisan Stand Mixer from Kitchenaid!
- Just leave a comment on this post here on the website and answer the following question.
- If you could only eat one kind of sweet/dessert for the rest of your life, what would choose? And not just cookie or cupcake, etc. – but what kind if you can? I’m very curious.
- Deadline to enter is Wednesday, March 28th at 5 pm ET.
SORRY, TIME’S UP! Winner Announced Below.
- One winner will be chosen at random and announced sometime Wednesday evening.
GOOD LUCK GUYS!
oh and FYI – the Crystal Blue color should be available for purchase starting sometime in April.
Reading all of your sweet choices are driving me crazy. I have cravings now for way too many treats.
I don’t know if I could pick just one either. But warm brownies and ice cream are always a safe bet for me. No nuts. No whipped cream. No syrup. Plain and simple chocolate and vanilla. Warm and cold deliciousness.
Okay, ready for the winner?
It’s comment #6224 – Leann
Congratulations and enjoy your bright blue baby. Hope you make lots of amazing desserts and smile every time you look at it.
And big thanks to Kitchenaid for supplying the mixer in this beautiful blue.
My favourite would definately have to be my late mother’s apple crumble, especially the crunching gooey bits around the edge where the apple spills out ~ so yummy! :)
Red velvet cake pops with dark chocolate candy coating. Hands down the best dessert in the world!!
I could eat creme brulee forever
That’s a tough question, but if I had to pick one, it would be a slab of banana bread with chocolate chips. There’s nothing more satisfying.
I would have burnt almond torte from Prantls’ Bakery in Pittsburgh, PA!!!
I would love to eat chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes with a buttercream frosting. My favorite ice cream in a non-melting form = unforgettable!
Thank you for a super fun giveaway!
German Chocolate Cake hands down- its the frosting…
That blue is so lovely! If I were limited to only one dessert for the rest of my life (heaven forfend!), it would probably be vanilla ice cream. I would miss all if the other delicious flavors, but I always come back to vanilla…
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. Yum!!! But really any chocolate would do.
If I could, I would eat my moms Rolo cookies for the rest of my life. No one else can make them like she does!
If I could have only one dessert, I would choose turtle cheesecake….yummy!
No hasitation. Mint chocolate chip ice cream. :)
Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting! Yum!
My favorite is the traditional wedding and birthdays puertorrican butter ponque…”wedding cake”
I would love to eat Napoleon every day if it didn’t sit on my thighs forever. My husband just learned to make it so we can have it more often. The flaky pastry and cream filling with a little chocolate drizzled on or berries on top. Yum! I love the crystal blue color of the Kitchen Aid. It would look great in my vintage diner kitchen.
Triple-layer brownies! The bottom layer is a crunchy oatmeal layer, a simple chocolate brownie in the middle, and topped by a fudge frosting. I just made a batch yesterday and I could eat them every day!
Anything with citrus! My favorite being a key lime tart – not too heavy and bright and fresh.
I am so jealous you were at Epcot! I worked for Walt Disney World briefly and Epcot will forever be my favorite theme park. I am glad to hear you tried a Dole Whip – yum!
My absolute favorite dessert is Strawberry/Rhubarb pie. I have never attempted to bake a pie of this sort. I’m not much of a baker. . . . but I do enjoy cooking.
I could never live without a chocolate and banana pudding pie!
Gorgeous color! My have to have dessert would be chocolate turtle ice cream from my local ice cream place, Brewsters. Love it!
I would choose chocolate chip cookies, hands down. Might get a little boring, though, so I hope I never have to actually make that choice!
I’m not sure I would ever tire of a classic chocolate chip cookie!
Brownies!
My all time favorite dessert is Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter filling and Cream Cheese Frosting. Yum Yum!!!
BTW: I love your website, your awsome! Thanks for the opportunity.
Dark chocolate – straight up.
If I had the chance I would eat bananas foster for the rest of my life. My favorite fruit and my favorite alcohol…I can’t resist!!
Thanks so much for putting on this amazing giveaway…you’re too sweet!
Hey Bakerella! My name is Gabi and I’m a huge fan!! I have to say it’s the first time I dare to write on your blog…
I’ve been following you for years now, and been trying to make every single thing you posted since then on. Im a fan of sweet things too!
so… in response of the question you posted, I would definetely have to say I would eat any cake, cupcake or cookie that comes filled or frosted with “Dulce de leche”. I’m from Uruguay by the way, and this dulce is kind of the caramel you have in USA, but sweeter, thicker and yummier, to my taste! haha.
Send you a big kiss and just say you are a genious on what you do! I totally look up to you.
Ooh, that mixer is my absolute favorite color!
My favorite dessert is brownies, preferably warm and gooey and with ice cream on top!
If I could eat one dessert for the rest of my life It would have to be red velvet cake. It’s so delicious…… Better yet, as a cake pop! Just enough cake to eat at a time!
Thank you for this opportunity!
Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with extra cookie dough! Yummmmm, my mouth is salivating just thinking about it…
Wow thats a hard question. I absolutely LOVE caramal so I think I’d have to say a hot caramal sundae. Yum!
If I could only eat one kind of dessert for the rest of my life, I would choose Tiramisu. I love the creamy texture and rich coffee flavor but most of all, I would choose it because it’s a dessert that I’ve shared countless times with with my Mom and I always associate it with wonderful memories of times spent with her.
If I could only eat one kind of dessert what would it be. I would have to say it would be a eclair. I love fresh eclairs from the bakeries. They are so yummy with the home made custard inside with a beautiful golden soft outside. Yummy. It’s making me hungry just thinking about. :)
Fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies made with ground oatmeal and dark chocolate chips.
I love kitchenaid! And the color blue! Haha. If I could choose one dessert I would have to pick snickerdoodle cupcakes! I think they’re delicious! I found the best recipe and I can’t stop making them! I’ve always liked snickerdoodle cookies, but the cupcakes are (Might I say) even better!
If I could only have one desert for the rest of my life it would have to be Rhubarb pie. I <3 making it and <3 even more to eat it, especially when the rhubarb is fresh out of my grandma's garden, or soon to be our own plant.
Thanks for sharing as always, those treats look amazing!
Good old fashion New York cheesecake.
The only dessert I could eat everyday and not get sick of? Red velvet cheesecake. *Swoon*
Hmm, tough one but I think I would go with a dark chocolate cupcake with cream filling and a chocolate ganach icing – yummy!
I would be happy to eat Dutch Apple Pie with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on the side. No contest. I may be a west coaster now, but I will never forget my east coast roots. Love you Grandma!
I know this may seem a bit odd to people who aren’t familiar with the dessert, but the one I would choose is this traditional Chinese tofu dessert. It’s made with the silkiest form of tofu and then covered with a sweet syrup, and can be eaten hot or cold. It’s so good! But I could also never go without some good dark chocolate :)
Key Lime Pie!!!
Reminds me of growing up in South Florida:)
It would be a chocolate chip butterscotch cookie! Delish!
Wow thats kinda a tough question! But I would have to say chocolate chip cookies–but fresh warm straight from the oven and my favorite recipe!
The food looks yummy!
Chocolate Chip Cookies- They’re my weakness!
Oh boy, so tough, I’m in love with plenty of desserts! However, New York cheesecake with lots of cherry topping would probably be my choice!
It has to be oatmeal raisin cookie! Especially the ones that my Aunt makes, hehe. It would be really awesome to win this kitchen aid machine, thanks for the chance :)
Umm…. wow! Only one dessert? Haha. I would have to choose chocolate chip cookies. I know right? Pretty boring. But I never get tired of them and you can never go wrong with chocolate chip cookies! My favorite type are the crispy kind!
Oh geez….ice cream would be my category, I think, but I fear that a lifetime of it being my only sweet would leave me rather….large!!! :) Cherry Garcia anyone?
If I could only eat 1 dessert for the rest of my life it would probably be fudge brownies with chocolate icing. Just plain and simple chocolate. They are my favorite
Love the new Lemon Blueberry Muffin Cake I made last night! Perfect for Spring!
A nice warm fudgy chocolate brownie with a glob of vanilla ice cream on top.
I would probably want to have chocolate lave cake! I think it tastes so good. I’ve only had it once, and I can’t wait to have it again! I love how it melts in your mouth. And of course I love chocolate!
Cheesecake ice cream with gummy bears! Strange but totally amazing!
My grandmother’s chocolate mayonnaise cake. It sounds weird, but is delish! And reminds me of her. I’ve finally learned to make it into cupcakes too.
Chocolate Chip Cookies for sure! Such a staple classic I don’t know what I would do without it. Love that colour!
Thanks!
If I could only eat one kind of dessert/sweet for the rest of my life it would have to be mixed berry cobbler. I love the taste and aroma of the baked fruits combined with the gooey underside of the biscuit topping! Double Yum!
Great pictures, looks like you had a great time.
If I could only have only one dessert/sweet for the rest of my life I would have to choose Chocolate turtle cheesecake. Oh YUM!
eclair dessert, with pudding, sometimes fruit, and sometimes chocolate…my Mom and Grma like to make it and I LOVE it!
Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey Ice Cream!
I love raspberry chocolate mouse. That’s the perfect combination to me! I know I will never get too much of it.
Red velvet cheesecake!
Brownie sunday with chocolate chunks in the brownie and vanilla ice cream. Maybe some raspberry sauce on top :)
If 1/4 part blueberry cheesecake, 1/4 part brownie, 1/4 part black forest cake, and 1/4 part caramel pudding is put together into ONE circle – then THAT’S the only one kind of dessert I’m ready to live with for the rest of my life! :D
Looks like you had a lot of fun!
only one for forever? godiva’s dark chocolate dipped macaroons…soooo yummy! thanks for the chance to win! :)
Carrot cake any (every?) day!
I would totally eat tiramisu for the rest of my life. I can eat that stuff by the bowlful.
thanks a lot from Spain! I would choose a lemon bundt.
If I could, I would eat a Salted Caramel Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich from Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates in Sacramento, CA. It’s a light, crispy, chewy, and huge macaron filled with creamy salted caramel ice cream and a layer of heavenly caramel sauce. It was orgasmically delicious and only offered one time for a special event.
I can eat a cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting every day for the rest of my life. It’s breakfast, dessert, and snack time all in one!
LEMON TART!! Made with a lemon zest crust and fresh lemons… OMG!!!!
Flourless Chocolate Cake with raspberry coulis. Yum!
My brownies with a dulce de leche swirl! Sooo good!
I would eat chocolate chip cookies with a side of milk. I can’t ever get enough!
S’more cupcakes!! Two of my favorite things combined, could it get any better?! I think not.
I guess if I had to only eat one dessert it would be a vanilla cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It’s so simply, dare I say boring, but I never never get tired of it. Just keepin’ it real.
if i had to live off one thing I think brown butter chocolate chunk toffee cookies would have to be it.
So many desserts to choose from! This is a difficult question, but I would have to go with no bake cookies. Its part fudge, part cookie, and you can call it a health food because it has peanut butter and oatmeal in it :-)
With that said, thank you for letting us share in your journey. I for one have greatly enjoyed following you through your twists and turns (so happy you are feeling better!). Also, I tried the dark chocolate chip cookies you posted recently and they were wonderful. I bet they would be easier to make with that beautiful new mixer.
Thank you!
My favorite dessert is coconut cream pie! I don’t eat it often because it’s so rich, but I cannot imagine never eating again. So, if I only get one, that’s my choice!
Hand down, Scotcharoo’s.
OK, I know I don’t really stand a chance of winning this gorgeous kitschy KitchAid mixer … BUT … if I could only ever eat one kind of dessert, it would have to be carrot & orange cake … at least that way I’d be getting 2 of my recommended 5 a day in terms of fruits / veggies … bwuahahahaha!!!
I can’t control myself when it comes to Fruity Pebbles Gelato from Aunt Jean’s in Shawnee, KS. It’s so thick and creamy, yet fruity and colorful. I hope I never win the lottery, I would become such a slob lush for that gelato.
Given only one choice, I would have to say chocolate chip and cranberry oatmeal cookies because I can’t live without chocolate!
Chocolate chip cookies for sure. Crispy on the ouside, soft and chewy on the inside. Warm or cold.
The one dessert I would pick is a Blonde Brownie with chocolate chips and a scoop of quality vanilla ice cream on top. Boy this was a hard decision for a dessert lover like me!
Cinnamon rolls!
Oatmeal cookies! With dried cranberries (instead of raisins) and pecans. Yum! The best recipe comes from the Coyote Point Museum Auxiliary dessert cookbook from the ’70s. I make them all the time (and freeze balls of dough for fresh cookies, too, since the recipe makes so much).
That’s a tough one! I’d have to go with Dulce de Leche icecream!
Black jellybeans :)
Without question, Milk Chocolate Espresso cookies. I got the recipe from the Washington Post a couple years ago, tweaked it a little, and now every bite just makes me feel like I’m in heaven!
Anything chocolate! The end. : )
Homemade chocolate chip cookies, for sure!
Those new colors look fantastic !
If I had to eat one dessert for the rest of my life, I think it would be a fantastic mousse au chocolat (chocolate mousse) that as some caramel swirls in it. YUM !

Thanks for the giveaway
I have no idea how to pick! Maybe chocolate chip cookies because they’re so classic.

It is so hard to choose! I think that I could be able to eat vanilla bean cheesecake with raspberry sauce every single day. It is light and so delicious!
cheesecake!
I could eat vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and peanuts for the rest of my life! I love Kitchen Aide, I still don’t have one of my own!
Chocolate chip cookies. I think if I couldn’t ever have a warm, chewy chocolate chip cookie again, I would die!
I LOVE chocolate cake mix cookies with Andes Mints melted on top. Oh man, so so good, and super easy to make. Just my style.
I love the color of the Kitchen Aid. I could eat mint chocolate brownie cups the rest of my life……………………or lemon mini cupcakes! I’m not sure which.
Ben and Jerry’s phish food ice cream!!
I would have to say a good ole Southern Coconut Cake — multiple layers, of course! :)
Hands down, without a doubt, the red velvet cake from Bakers of Buffington (http://bakersofbuffington.net/). It is the most delicious, moist cake I’ve ever had. My friends get me one every year for my birthday and I eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until it’s gone.
If I had to pick only 1 dessert, I would pick oatmeal raisin cookies! They have been my favorite since I was super young!
mmm so many lovely desserts to make, but if i had to choose one it has to be warm rich chocolate fudge cake with cream.
Great prize i hope i win :)
I would have to pick Maple Creme Brule’..rich, creamy, shards of sugar, heaven.
Linda
What a horribly hard question! I know for sure it has to be chocolate. I’m going to choose a super moist chocolate cake with buttercream frosting topped with a chocolate ganache.

My favorite would be a deliciously moist spice cake with caramel frosting! I LOVE that frosting.
I’m thinking peanut butter kiss cookies. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
Cake pops of course and Hershey chocolate cake with an Oreo topping.
I would have to choose cherry pie because that is always a classic desert! Never gets old and is always welcome at dinner tables lol
p.s. your trip looked AMAZING! i love disney :D
If I had to choose one dessert for the rest of my life it would be the a brownie sundae. Meaning a Ghiradelli dark chocolate brownie (walnuts are a must), vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream and top it off with hot fudge. If I had to eat that alone for the rest of my life I’m pretty sure I’d be the happiest girl ever.
LOVE the blue Kitchen Aid!!!
Cake pops….or maybe ice cream!
If I could eat one kind all day everyday, it would be a peach dumpcake. Dump some peaches in a dish, cover with dry cake mix and cover with pats of butter and bake…YUM!
If there was one dessert I could eat the rest of my life, it would be oreo/vanilla cupcakes with Oreo cream cheese frosting. Those are just a compilation of everything amazing!

Without a doubt…a good old fashioned bowl of vanilla bean ice cream!
I think I’d have to go with Funky Monkey cake/cupcakes with vanilla frosting. (funky monkey is chocolate with banana. Sooooo good!)
Awesome give away! Thank you!
I might have to go with Donna Pico on this one. It’s a mexican type of candy (no lead in this brand, I checked) that blends sweet and chile peppers so well that I have trouble getting enough. I first tried it when I was about 7 and have been a fan ever since. I would miss things like chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookies, but when a sweet craving hits, Pico really does take care of it best
I would absolutely eat lemon velvet cake. It’s just so sweet and tart and I just can’t stop eating it when I make them. The lemon taste comes through so well and it is so moist that I am just in pure heaven
This may be cheating but when I graduate from college a few years ago my family, husband and I went to NYC to celebrate. We went to Max Brenner’s and fell in love with the menu. We order this variety dessert that had a one-of-everything feel to it. We had a chocolate rice crispie, small fondue pot, even a small flame to roast mashmellows over before dipping them in the sinful chocolate. There were a few other chocolate delicacies, but the fondue was my favorite. If I had to have one dessert for the rest of my life, I think it would be this Max Brenner creation because it wouldn’t be just ONE! (is this cheating?)
If I were to eat one dessert for life, it would definitely be chocolate chip cookies, I never get tired of them!
One? Frosted sugar cookies.
Brownies :)
My favorite dessert will always be a strawberry milkshake from Superdawg in Chicago. :)

I can NOT wait to own a kitchen aid! Told my husband I want it as a gift for Christmas, yep planning already, haha! So of course I’d love to win one! :-D
“If you could only eat one kind of sweet/dessert for the rest of your life, what would choose? And not just cookie or cupcake, etc. – but what kind if you can? I’m very curious”: I think I would have to choose my favorite kind of ice cream, chocolate with peanut butter swirls, YUM! =P
Have a fabulous week! :)
Oh this is a tough one! But the first thing that pops into my head right now is the Blondie from Applebee’s. It is delicious! A white chocolate macadamia nut brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with a mouthwatering maple sauce!!! Yum yum!!
If I had one to choose, it would be red velvet cake – nothing beats a perfectly made one!
Waouh! blue!? exciting giveaway!!!! I would love to eat something with chocolate of course and maybe speculoos! mmhhhhhh
Hmmmm…I’d have to say it’s a toss up between Cadbury Eggs and Cheesecake Factory’s Dulce de leche cheesecake. Both are hard to get over here in Germany!
Wow! That is actually a very difficult question because I love all things sugar. If I had to choose, it would be Italian Wedding cake from one of the local restaurants I go to. It is creamy, rich but also light and perfectly sweet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Baskin Robbins Jamocha Almond Fudge ice cream – without hesitation and without a doubt!!!
If I could eat only one dessert for the rest of my life it would be carrot cake with lots of wonderful cream cheese icing and walnuts. Can’t get enough!
Blue Bell Banana Pudding Ice cream…. anything blue bell is great, but the banana pudding is out of this world. =)
I would have to say, I think chocolate chip cookie dough or cookies and cream ice cream. Vanilla ice cream, of course!!! That way, I get my cookies and ice cream all in the one dessert.
One dessert for the rest of my life? Snickerdoodle cookies. Simple, yet delicious and great for any season and any type of mood!
I it had to be limited to one thing, I think I’d have to go with just plain chocolate chips. Good in anything, and good alone
What a fun week!!! My fave would have to be…oreo truffles…I don’t know why but they call to me.
Beautiful color!! If I could eat only one kind of sweet for the rest of my life it would be blue berry scones with clotted cream. Yummy!! Prefect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Best of luck to all!
Without a doubt, creme brûlée! Heck we could through some raspberries on there and extra burnt sugar, decidedly the best part of the whole thing!
probably the discontinued monster cream puffs
in Disney California Adventure.
or maybe almond-joy cupcakes with extra coconut :)
probably frozen yogurt.
I am obsessed with Fran’s salted caramels. Best chocolates ever.
It would be strawberry cheesecake :)
Gorgeous pictures from a fabulous time! If I had to live with just one dessert for the rest of my life (perish the thought!) it would be a vanilla cupcake with a delicious vanilla buttercream. But I would be sad, let’s make that clear. :)
Blue moon flavored ice cream. It was my fave as a kid, and I’ve found it increasingly difficult to find as an adult. FAVE!
If I could eat my grandmother’s strawberry pretzel jello for all eternity, I would be content.
My all time favourite has to be Angel food cake with loads of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. I’ve had it for my birthday cake ever since I was a little kid. It started with my mom and hubby has kept up the tradition even though he is not kitchen-friendly. :)
One Dessert for the rest of my life: Black Bottom Coconut Bars…I get my brownie & coconut macroon fix in one! Hands downt the best ever!
Any kind of chocolate cookie, made in a KitchenAid, of course!
One of my all time favorite desserts that I could eat all the time and can’t imagine giving up is your recipe for Dark Chocolate Chip Comfort Cookies. They are soooo amazing!!!
I have a sweet tooth, so this is a very hard decision! I loved baked goods, but one sweet I cannot live without would be plain M&M’s! :)
I would love this mixer…I am a huge Carolina Tar Heel fan and the wonderful things I could bake with that light blue Kitchenaid would help me mourn the loss to Kansas.
I love, love, LOVEEEE anything that has mint and chocolate, like Grasshopper Pie. The ice cream, especially, but a good slice of Grasshopper Pie is my weak spot!
I lived with this French family for a summer in college. The mother made the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten, and she made it a LOT — galettes aux poires with creme anglaise. Amazing.
What a hard choice!! I adore chocolate and cake and pie and every kind of dessert!! If I had to choose, I would pick these amazing Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies that I found on The Girl Who Ate Everything ‘s blog. My husband absolutely loves these! Any time I make them they are gone within the day. It’s my go to recipe for potlucks and other events.
http://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/2012/01/peanut-butter-oatmeal-chocolate-chip.html
Chocolate layer cake with chocolate frosting. It’s a classic and something my whole family craves — even with more elegant options available.
That mixer is bee-you-tifull! I’d love to give it a good home. Thanks for the fun photos.
almond cake with buttercream frosting
I would pick chocolate molten cake!
My favorite would be my mothers homemade pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting. If it’s a really good day and she has time shed drizzle a bit of caramel and walnuts on top.
If I had to pick one for the rest of my life I’d go with Banana Cream pudding. Sooo delicious.
ooh. i’d have to say vanilla ice cream with some form of peanut butter cups, crushed graham crackers and oreo cookies, along with a side of warm fruit — like apple pie. it’s all about the sweetness and texture for me!
My mom’s chocolate-applesauce cake :)
It’s got to be chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I crave it all the time…even after I’ve just had a piece!
What a hard question! I think homemade rice krispie treats. There’s something to be said for simple and delicious!
That’s a very tough one ;) But I’d choose self-made chocolate chip cookies. Chewy and soft with slightly chrunchy edges, simply deliciouuuusss!! There are times when I make those a couple of days in a row :D
I would eat chocolate cake with chocolate frosting! I love that blue color, I really hope I win!
Blondie brownies with caramel. Not too many chocolate chips – just enough. And maybe, since it’s the only thing I could eat, a little frosting on top…
One dessert?I’d go for the Filipino dessert,Leche Flan!!! Hands down :)
Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting!
I would pick a Molten Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Filling topped with Creme Anglaise.
In Germany there is a little bakery that sales the most delicious cream puff in all the land; some kind if vanilla cream inside with a flaky shell dipped in the most decadent chocolate. I can eat that cream puff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…and for a midnight snack :D
as weird as this sounds…. stella dora breakfast treats. i could eat them day in and day out.
(if anyone has a recipe for homemade ones- please share!)
Thanks for the opportunity.
I think I would eat brown sugar cookies. (Basically a chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate chips) I love them!!!
Jamocha Almond Fudge ice cream…yummy! I would love to win the KitchenAid mixer. Beautiful shade of blue. Perfect for making cake pops!
Apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream on top…..
Mine would be cheesecake with a strawberry glaze or brownies, hard to decide. Love them both. Thank you for this opportunity to enter:)
I would eat Turtle Fudge Brownies, extra caramel, for…The. Rest. Of. My. Life.
Rice Krispy treats… they aren’t necessarily my favorite dessert, but they are so addicting and I know I would never get tired of them!
Definitely, creme brulee.
I would have to choose cheescake. Thanks!
Chocolate brownies with caramel swirls.
I would say starbucks java chip ice cream so yummy
Oh I forgot to say what my pick was for my sweet desert. Its good old Sothern Pecan Pie with fresh whipped cream.
Thanks ! Mayla
