This post doesn’t involve baking from this weekend
but there’s something pretty sweet at the end I think you’ll like.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Okay, so I’ve been out of town for the last two weekends. First, Chicago for the Home and Housewares Show…
and last weekend somewhere a little bit warmer.
I was in sunny Florida for a weekend conference full of learning and sharing with friends – and a bunch of food and fun thrown in.
Food Blog Forum Orlando. Put on by Jaden Hair of Steamy Kitchen, Todd & Diane of White On Rice Couple, Julie Deily of The Little Kitchen and Dawn Viola.
And sponsored by Disney, Kitchenaid, OXO, Land O’ Lakes, Whole Foods, Le Creuset and more.
The meeting was held at Walt Disney World and it was amazing. So well done. Julie from the Little Kitchen knows how to put together a great event. I was there with a bunch of great speakers. (See the whole group here) Alison Lewis (Ingredients, Inc.) and I spoke at round table discussions on writing a cookbook. I really enjoyed the round table set up because we were able to talk one-on-one with people and that’s much more my speed. I don’t think I’d be very good at getting up in front of a big room of people and talking. There would be a lot of umms and likes and pauses I’m sure.
On the evening before the meeting, we had a beautiful outdoor reception at the Grand Floridian. My sweet friend Jenny (Picky Palate) and I met some great girls. Nikki (Pennies on a Platter), Krissy (Krissy’s Creations), Julie (Table for Two) and Rachel (The Fabulous Foodie). Hi girls. Thanks for making Magic Kingdom such a blast!
We hit up a few rides and went on a search for Dole Whip and churros before the park closed. It was my first time trying either. So yum! Thanks for sharing these phone pics girls.
We spent all day Saturday at Epcot where the meeting was held.
It was definitely a special place to have a meeting. Not only were there great speakers, yummy treats, amazing prizes, like stand mixers and refrigerators, Le creusets and more but when we were done, we had a huge world to explore.
If only I could have seen it all. I’ve never been to Epcot. I had no idea how ginormous this park was. Actually, I still don’t know how big it is. But that’s okay because what I did see was perfect.
We had an incredible lunch extravaganza prepared by Disney chefs from the parks and hotels.
I focused on dessert of course.
Lunch gave us all more time to talk.
Here’s Lauren’s Latest, Julie, Krissy and Jenny.
And I finally finally met Elise from Simply Recipes. Yay! Hope we can chat more next time.
Alison and Jenny. Love you guys.
And sweet, sweet Julie. Again, great job on pulling this event together.
On Sunday we had a brunch hosted by Whole Foods. Incredible food means the cameras come out.
See what I mean. That’s Dawn in the back, Julie and Jenny, and then Lindsey (Love and Olive Oil) in the front.
This might be one of my favorite pics from the weekend. It just makes me giggle at how we all do the same thing as bloggers. It’s almost uncontrollable when you have a camera in your hand.
But in our defense, the flowers were pretty cheery.
I enjoyed this weekend so much.
Hi Emily (Sage Recipes) and Kiran (Kirantarun)! It was nice meeting you both. Hope to see you again. And you too Droolius and Simply Southern Baking.
Thanks for a weekend of great memories with old friends and new!

So now the fun part.
I’m having an amazing giveaway today.
If you read last week’s post, you may remember some of the new products I talked about from the Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. One of them was this Kitchenaid mixer in Crystal Blue, the brand new color from the Catalina Collection that I fell in love with.
Well, I met some of the folks from Kitchenaid in Chicago for the first time and and then coincidentally, we met again in Orlando the very next weekend as they were one of the sponsors of Food Blog Forum. It was a surprise to see them two weeks in a row. We talked about how much I loved the brand new color they debuted in Chicago and we thought it would be a fun giveaway here on bakerella.com.
Want to brighten up your kitchen and be one of the first people to own a mixer in this brand new, bright blue color courtesy of Kitchenaid? I know I would. It’s such a happy color. And much more vibrant in person.

- One winner will be chosen at random and announced sometime Wednesday evening.
GOOD LUCK GUYS!
oh and FYI – the Crystal Blue color should be available for purchase starting sometime in April.
Reading all of your sweet choices are driving me crazy. I have cravings now for way too many treats.
I don’t know if I could pick just one either. But warm brownies and ice cream are always a safe bet for me. No nuts. No whipped cream. No syrup. Plain and simple chocolate and vanilla. Warm and cold deliciousness.
Okay, ready for the winner?
It’s comment #6224 – Leann
Congratulations and enjoy your bright blue baby. Hope you make lots of amazing desserts and smile every time you look at it.
And big thanks to Kitchenaid for supplying the mixer in this beautiful blue.
I love desserts. However, if I had to pick just one I would have to go with lemon pound cake with chocolate icing…. not only my childhood favorite but also has many happy memories associated with it.
raspberries with sweet whipped cream
If I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life I would have to choose, hands down, strawberry cheesecake.
I would probably have to eat peanut butter cup cupcakes! They are just way too yummy!
Triple Chocolate Fudge Pound Cake – a delicious recipe in its own right, but a dear friend made it for me the first time and everytime I make it I am reminded of her and that first bite!
Cinnamon Buns with Cream Cheese Icing
Gosh, that’s a hard choice. I think it would either be a moist chocolate cake or Dominican cake. Yum
I could eat oreo’s everyday all day
Tough question! I’d have to say something like eclairs…the way my grandmother used to make them. Pastry, vanilla pudding/pastry cream, and thick chocolate frosting. Yum!
Cowboy cookies. Not only are they a giant cookie, but they are a combination of several cookies into one. Classic chocolate chip with oatmeal, coconut and cinnamon. Yummy!!
This is probably the easiest question I’ll answer this week…I love salty, sweet, chocolate, caramel, cheesecake and pecans…turtle cheesecake is my choice!!
Definitely some sort of meringue cake with a custard cream and fresh berries!
Holy cow, only one dessert?! I’m going with walnut brownies. But I’d sure miss all the other goodies…
What a hard choice but I will choose chocolate chip cookies with pecans. Yummy
Love the new Kitchen Aid colors!
For the rest of my life, one choice: Kunafa! Its the best Arabic dessert, mix crunchy crust, filling with cheese and flavours of orange blossom with syrup…..
Homemade, out-of-the-oven bread pudding with caramel sauce. I make mine with cinnamon swirl bread from the bakery, rich Mexican vanilla, and golden raisins soaked in warm apple juice. Mmmm…I haven’t made bread pudding since the fall. Time to run to the bakery and warm up the oven!
I would eat white chocolate blueberry creme brulee. I had it at a restaurant once and it was fantastic!
Oh my a kitchen aid mixer would be such a blessing! my hand mixer went to heaven this weekend =p while I was making you 14 layer cake for my cousins surprise birthday party! I have to say if I could eat any sweet for the rest of my life I would either pick my grandma’s sour cream cookies or her homemade carmel too hard to pick which one! She finally gave me the recipes after years and years of me nagging her for them! =]
I love your site and I know my co-workers love trying all of the stuff I bake from here!
Lynnsey
Cadbury Cream Eggs. I wish there was a recipe for them.
I’m pretty sure I could eat chocolate chip cookies for the rest of my life and not be sad about it. Especially if they are soft and chewy!
It’s gotta be chocolate chip cookies for sure!!
That’s a tough one! I’d say, though, I would probably have to have my grandma’s most delicious peanut butter fudge , with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream on the side for good measure.
German Chocolate Cake.
vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting!
cinnamon rolls. It’s all I crave when I pregnant (which I currently am)!
Ice cream. Mmmmmint chip! :)
I’d probably have to go with red velvet cupcakes. I just love them with the whipped flour base frosting. *drool*
I would choose lemon pie with raspberries! I love your blog :)
Hi!!! You HAVE to go back to Epcot, is one of my favorite places :) I’m actually from Costa Rica, If you ever think on coming here you are more than welcome :) xoxo
My Mom’s chocolate chip cookies, of course! She is the only person who can make them just right and they cheer me up every time I bite into one.
Thanks for the great giveaway! Wish I was at Disneyworld right now!
I could eat mango sticky rice forever!
I know lots of others have said this, but I think I’d have to go with a gooey, crispy, buttery, perfectly baked chocolate chip cookie.
If I had to choose one dessert for the rest of my life it would be Frozen Yogurt hands down. I have a slight addiction to it and love all flavors. If I had to choose a flavor it would be a tough choice between peanut butter and cheesecake. Mmmm. I want some right now. Too bad it’s 9am.
Thanks!
It would have to be Pierre Herme’s Macarons. I recently went to Paris and had a few flavors. They were amazing, I want them all again!!!
it’d have to be chocolate peanut butter ice cream…..especially if its from oberweis….so very good!!! That blue mixer is gorgeous – it’d be a gread addition to my kitchen!!!
That is a “no-brainer”…Cadbury Cream Eggs. I wish there was a recipe for them.
Oh my. How can you even pick just one thing?! A sugar cookie with vanilla royal icing, no. . . wait. . . brownies. Gooey brownies. Yes.
Mmmmm.
Brownies.
No question . . . Cheesecake! Plain, with a raspberry coulis on the side.
I’d definitely want to eat chocolate covered cherry cake. It’s a recipe my hubby dreamed up in his head (sort of a spinoff from my strawberry cake). It really tastes exactly like a chocolate covered cherry. And who doesn’t like those? :)
I love creme brulee an could eat that everyday for the rest of my life!! Love the creaminess and the crunch of the top, such a great combo!
Dark chocolate mouse with fresh strawberries. That is a super rich dessert but always so yummy.
A chocolate cream cheese cupcake!!
That would be Argentinian alfajores with dulce de leche ! YUMMY !
Chocolate Lava Cakes
I would have to say chocolate chip cookies, but they have to be soft and chewy, no crunchy ones! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
Hmmm I love sweets so its hard to choose I think though I might have to go with a monster cookie…it has peanut butter, chocolate chips & m&m so its kinda gets it all plus it wouldnt be too sweet.
March 28 is my birthday! It would be an awesome birthday gift! My favorite dessert is salted caramel brownies.
Anything with chocolate in it would be wonderful to eat for the rest of my life….but I would have to choose red velvet cupcakes! Yummy!
One dessert for the rest of my life?! Yikes! I think I would have to pick Ice cream. It never EVER gets old. Whenever I’m dieting, ice cream is the one thing that is never off limits. That would just be setting myself up for failure. My favorite is Coldstone’s Sweet Cream – great mouth feel, very versatile for lots of mix-in varieties.
It’s a tie between a great chewy soft chocolate chip cookie and a really delicious chocolate cake with chocolate ganache…..yummy
Does pinkberry frozen yogurt count as a dessert? I love anything that can be eaten frozen! Even on the coldest of days ’cause that’s when I crave it the most & it doesn’t put my diet off track xD haha & the topping is endless too!
I really hope I can win this. I would love to finally have a stand mixer. It would make my side business easier so I can make a little side money to pay for collage or at least collage books xD
Chocolate is my favorite so I’d say a chocolate cake with whipped chocolate frosting – yum! :)
Hands down…ice cream. I’m a vanilla girl at heart but Publix has this chocolate cookie explosion thing that I can no longer keep in my house without eating the entire carton. So dangerous, yet SO GOOD!
It would most definitely be chocolate chip cookie sandwiches filled with buttercream frosting! Cookies and frosting = heaven!
Seven layer bars, well, any kind of bar, but these have chocolate, caramel and coconut. Yum!
chewy chocolate chip cookies for sure! maybe with a salted caramel center ;)
Coffee ice cream!
I would eat oatmeal raisin cookies all the time or monster cookies. So yummy!
Oh my goodness! This answer came all too quickly for me. If I could have one desert for the rest of my life, it would hands down be Creme Brulee. I LOVE that stuff!
Flourless chocolate cake. Absolutely love this.
I can’t believe I’m not choosing something chocolate, but life without Bananas Foster would be so sad!
Easy, cheesecake :)
I would say chocolate chip cookies because they are always good. You get your chocolate fix and something for the sweet tooth.
That color mixer is to die for! My house is decorated tropical and that would fit right in!
Thanks for thinking of us. :)
It would have to be something chocolate/peanut butter-y. Probably ice cream. Or a cookie with Reese’s chunks in it.
Hmm my fav dessert is really cupcakes so i will say that. Plus i could always mix up the flavours so it wouldn’t always be the same. But if it were? I’d still be ok with that!
The cake that was always made for my grandfather’s birthday, commonly known as “The Crisco Cake”! Dark chocolate cake and frosting to die for :) Perfect frosting to cake ratio, perfect amount of moisture and dry, and perfect for breakfast following whoever’s birthday we would be celebrating!
Probably would be… Green-tea cupcakes with rosewater frosting! Haha, the Asian in me loves green tea! The right amount of sweetness with the right amount of goodness from all those antioxidants! :)
FUDGE!! … Definitely fudge!!! I could live on all that chocolaty goodness! (^,*)
It would have to be blood orange olive oil cake: so much flavor and so pretty.
Oh this is a hard one but I would have to choose my grandma’s Huckleberry Cheesecake. It is so amazing.
I love the brownie pops my daughter makes with my Kitchen Aid. She dips them in chocolate and decorates with sprinklers. With two bakers in the family, I could use that pretty blue Kitchen Aid!!
At one of my favorite restaurants they serve what they call a “good pie” I would definitely choose this one!!
New York Style Cheesecake. YUM!
I loved seeing all your fun pictures! One day I will make it to a fun seminar/event like that.
If I could eat any dessert for the rest of my life it would be (oh, this is really hard!) Moose Tracks Ice Cream.
My aunt makes the perfect chocolate chip cookies. I’ve tried to replicate them but no luck :) thankfully she makes them for all occasions so there isn’t much time in between without them!
Dear Bakerella, my inspirator! I would have to choose red velvet frosted cookies! They are the perfect texture! Sweet, moist and a little chewy! Thank you for all that you do and an opportunity to win that BEAUTIFUL mixer!!
If I could eat only one dessert for the rest of my life, I would gladly choose red velvet cake. My sister made a homemade red velvet cake in her new Kitchen Aid mixer (I am SO jealous it’s painful) yesterday, and I swear I ate half of it!
Ahhh! Creme Brulee. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner and in between. Love the blue Kitchenaid.
I’m thinking that if I had a fruit tray filled with pineapple, strawberries, grapes, bananas, and apples and then in the middle, a huge bowl of dark chocolate – I would be one very happy woman.
Warm chocolate molten lava cake with ice cream!
Maple glazed doughnuts with bacon on top!
Only one dessert!? Ahh, the anxiety! Okay, in truth, I know exactly what I want. Blondies. I even know which recipe to use. Basically they taste like baked brown sugar. Yum!
My favorite dessert is an Orange Frosted Cookie. I got the recipe from my mother-in-law after my wedding. I only make tham about once a year because they take a while to make…and you have to REALLY keep your eye on them when they are in the oven. Since I only bake them once a year I quadruple the recipe and freeze them!!
Chocolate moist cake with vanilla buttercream topped with chocolate jimmies! Yum!
I would go with a simple tapioca pudding!
Oh, wow! Tough question! Has to have chocolate in it. A dark chocolate fudge brownie with chocolate frosting. The mixer in blue is gorgeous!
I’d have to say that my favorite is thick, fresh out of the oven, plain brownies……one giant brownie is more satisfying than a dozen cookies!! I Loooooooooove the blue color!
Oh my goodness, an impossible decision, but probably key lime pie or my mother’s chocolate chip cookies.
I would have to say an ice cream sandwich, but the cookies are soft(ish) choco chips, and the ice cream is peanut butter + chocolate. yummmmmmmmmmm….. :)
OR
my mother’s pumpkin cheesecake. so good.
Chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich :)
Whoopie Pies!
Definitely, coconut cake. There is nothing like a most, flaky, well-iced coconut cake!!!
Vanilla bean cupcakes with vanilla bean frosting… Yum!!!
Red Velvet Cake-but my grandma’s recipe. Simple the best!
Key Lime Pie. I can’t get enough of it!!! It’s totally on my mind right now since it’s spring!!! LOVE.
Chocolate mousse!
i would pick lemon curd cupcakes with cream cheese frosting!!
Chcolate Bumpy Cake: moist chocolate cake, filled, frosted and piped with ridges of white buttercream, then glazed with chocolate ganache. Oh, yum!
I would definitely chose Old Fashioned Southern Tea Cakes. They have a fabulous texture, like a cakey sugar cookie, but more subtle. They are easy to make and can be altered in so many ways: iced, cut and decorated like sugar cookies, mix in coconut & choppend pecans and roll in powdered sugar, mix in chopped maraschino cherries and add cherry juice and red food coloring, mix in toasted slivered almonds and drizzle with lemon/almond icing, mix in wilton food coloring and make sandwich cookies filled with cream filling, top with colored sanding sugar, and MANY more – I love them all but plain is my favorite!
Oh, this is hard. The thing that popped into my head first was chocolate chip cookies. They are my go-to when I need a bite of sweetness.
Soft Serve Icecream, I love it!
Dark chocolate mousse. Need i say more…
Apple pie! Can’t have enough of them! Infused with vanilla extract and Cointreau ;)
Coffee ice cream!!
One dessert for the rest of my life?! That is such a hard question to answer. But I think I would have to say …. mocha almond fudge ice cream :D or strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream!!
I would have to say the one desert could/would want to eat forever would be Creme Brûlée. Yum. Blue is my favorite could. I LOVE that mixer.
Every year for my birthday my Mom makes me an amazing Raspberry Coconut layer cake. It may be because I only get it once a year but at this moment, thinking of eating that every day for the rest of my life makes me so happy!! : )
Thanks for the fun blog on Disney World…it make me want to go!!
Ooohhh…..chocolate cheesecake!!!!!
My favorite dessert would have to be a tie between tiramisu cheesecake and double fudge chocolate cake with raspberry sauce! Mmmm so good :)
My favorite dessert is cheesecake, I could eat any version of that pretty much forever!
I’d love to win the mixer, I’m about to open a pie shop! I could use a mixer.
Apple pie! Can’t have enough of them, apple pie infused with vanilla and Cointreau..yummm
creme brûlée
or
Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk Ice Cream
If there was one sweet I could eat everyday, it would have to be a soft chocolate
Chip pretzel cookie!!!! Especially the ones that they have at a place called Southport Grocery in Chicago!!! A little taste of heaven!!!
I would have to pick salted caramel sauce. It can be used in so many desserts and it so versatile and delicious.
I love coconut cream pie!!!The essence of Spring!
I would choose a Chocolate/peanut butter chip, coconut, pecan gooey bar. All of my favorite things in one bite. OH YEAH!
Chocolate Bumpy Cake: moist chocolate cake filled, frosted and piped with ridges of white buttercream, then glazed with chocolate ganache. Oh, yum!
I would pick my grandma’s Angel Bars – a shortbread crust with a chewy coconut layer & covered in cream cheese frosting! Sinful!!!
Soft and chewy, and WARM chocolate cookies!
My favorite dessert is Italian Butter Cookies. I love the butter cookie with the chewy cherry in the middle, the butter cookie covered in chocolate and sprinkles on one end and my all time favorite are the Pink and Green Pistachio Leaf cookes. So we can sum it up with a platter of Italian Butter cookes would be my dessert choice.
What a pretty KA! If I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life it would probably a brownie sunae. Not just any brownie sundae. It would have to be a ward gooey brownie with blue bell vanilla ice cream. I could live with that for the rest of my life! :)
For the rest of my life, all I want to eat is my own homemade cookie dough (not my husband’s!), with slivers of Guittard dark chocolate. I crave it!
It would have to be rocky road ice cream. I love the stuff! I mean c’mon, almonds and mashmallow in CHOCOLATE? Love!
I am making cake pops this weekend! Would love a pretty blue mixer in my kitchen! : )
Love the new colors!
I could eat donuts for the rest of my life. Amen. Specifically, half chocolate, half maple icing on one donut. :)
I would eat a whole pan of magic cookie bars: YUM!
If it weren’t completely detrimental to my health I would eat those EVERYDAY.
I would have to go with my mom’s pumpkin cheesecake.
We only have it on Thanksgiving, but its totally worth the wait.
Chocolate-peanut butter-cookie dough ice cream!
Oh man! I’m already dreaming of using that mixer!! If I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life it would be the bread pudding from a fantastic Seattle restaurant, the Waterfront Seafood grill. It was the best bread pudding I’ve ever had!
A caramel sundae (no nuts, please). Happiness in a dish. :)
REALLY easy question. I would eat chocolate souffle everyday of the week for the rest of my life if I could!
Red Velvet mini cupcakes with Bobby Flay’s frosting recipe: ultra fine sugar, butter, cream & vanilla bean simmered with the addition of 7 tablespoons of flour. Chill the paste for a few hours (I chill overnight) and slowly incorporate into the butter and ultra fine sugar mixture. Much better than cream cheese frosting on these cupcakes.
My favorite has got to be Tiramisu:
To satisfy my chocolate and coffee addiction. Two things i can’t live without. The marscapone and rum aren’t too bad either ;-)
I love to eat cheesecake, specifically Oreo crust with plain new York cheesecake filling. Mmmmmmmm
A kitchenaid would make making cheesecake so much easier!
I would definitely choose a meringue cake with custard cream and fresh strawberries!
OMG I’ve been DYING for this! I think I look at it online every single day! Anyway, I would chose anything pumpkin for the rest of my life. Probably pumpkin cheesecake or pumpkin muffins with cream cheese whip. YUMMM!
Ooooo . . . That’s one of the hardest questions I’ve ever been asked!
I think I would have to go with ice cream. Ben and Jerry’s Half-Baked; then i could still get cookie dough and brownies in there, too! ;)
Oh, but I sure would miss apple pie . . . and cheesecake with strawberry topping . . . and cake pops! Mmmmmm . . .
One dessert, hmm for me that have to be small fruit tarts. The sweet dough crust, the pastry cream filling, the various fruits on top and the glaze hmmmm I love em! Mainly because it’s your fruit tart, your own individual one. You don’t have to share to it, unless you want to, its for you to enjoy, like when you eat a cupcake it’s something for you, you get to unwrap it and such. And I’m not talking about the mini mini fruit tarts, you know the ones that are like the size if a mini cupcake I mean those ones that are a bit bigger than that. Not necessarily a regular sized fruit tart just one a bit smaller, like let’s say 3 and something inch. Hmmm…in fact I think I’ll make some right now.
My one and only dessert would be frozen cheese cake with peaches. Yummy!
Peach Pie!!
I will never turn down a simple brownie and vanilla ice cream. I could eat it everyday. Something about the way a warm brownie mixes and melts the vanilla ice cream and the texture it creates!
This is a really difficult question since I have such a huge sweet tooth! But I would have to stay true to the classic, soft chocolate chip cookie. Nothing can beat it with a cold glass of milk. This way I can always share with the hubby and peanut because they love them too!
Creme brulee :)
It’s a toss up between a Lemon Cupcake with Raspberry frosting or a Coconut cake with white chocolate coconut frosting from the Farm Chicks…..num…..I’m getting hungry!
Hmm… tough decision! But, I’d have to say a good chocolate chip cake with buttercream frosting! Extra chocolate chips :)
Plain cheese cake. Just love the flavor.
If I had to eat one dessert for the rest of my life, I would choose roll out cookies with icing.
Carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Brownies!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mint or caramel
Homemade Reese’s peanut butter cups or bars! I could not imagine life without the delicious combo of chocolate and peanut butter. I love Reese’s but the homemade version are so much more yummy and creamy!
What fun! I’d choose a chocolate chip cookie. Not only are they ooey gooey chocolatey but also a little bit toffee-ish and slightly salty too! Love the color on the mixer!
Wow…really only one :)? Well I guess it would be chocolate brownies!! Could not live without them!
It definitely has to be something with chocolate, OF COURSE…But which kind… hmm.. this is a really tough choice to make… ok, I’d choose the most simplest and most perfect way of putting chocolate into a dessert.. simple “french-style” chocolate cake (sometimes called “death by chocolate” which would be a really nice death ^^), which needs only 4 ingredients: chocolate, sugar, eggs, little flour. Perfect!
It would have to be Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream with lots (and lots) of vanilla bean flecks in it :)
frogsarecool at gmail dot com
My mom’s homemade chocolate cake with chocolate frosting!
I could eat tiramisu for the rest of my life. All those yummy layers…. Mhmmmm.
My mom worked so hard and saved to buy me my kitchenaid and I know she would love her own and this one is beautiful!! To choose a favorite is near impossible so here are my top three: First place- red velvet cake with rich cream cheese frosting, Second Place-Peanut Butter and chocolate chip anythying, Third Place-Key Lime Pie. Is it too early for desert?!
key lime cheesecake with lilikoi sauce – is my favorite dessert.
I could easily live on double chocolate chip cookies the rest of my life! I ate a whole box of them in one go once! Soo nice :) xxx
Fruit Tarts because you have all the best elements…fresh berries , sweet cream, pastry shell…yum!
I am so bummed we didn’t meet at the FBF conference. I kept eyeing you for a moment to squeeze in to say hi but you were the most popular gal there. Next time I am finding my window no matter what. Hug fan.
If I could only eat one dessert it would be my own version of Black Forest Cheesecake. It’s so yummy and I could not imagine life without out. I only make it a few times a year so it stays special.
Easy peasy. I would choose my grandmother’s sugar cookies where she bakes in the sprinkles on top. OMG. I’ve had them now for at least 25 years and they still don’t get old!! And that mixer matches my curtains in the kitchen, which is just too cool!
What a tough questions! It’s so hard to pick just one thing!
I would have to say I would eat my Homemade Ding Dongs! Yuuummmy!
I would probably choose a Cream filled long john with a maple flavored icing (also known as Cream Sticks).
Just one dessert? My friend, Mary made cream cheese ice cream that we topped with strawberry freezer jam…it was the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Ever. Although I doubt I could live without chocolate :)
St, Joseph’s Day zepollis with the cannoli cream, firm pastry and a cherry on top. Soooo yummy…..
Love the new color.
If I had to eat just one dessert, it would be my mom’s mocha cake. It has 6 alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate cake with mocha chocolate icing between the yellow layers and a vanilla pudding filling between the chocolate layers and then it is iced with the mocha icing. Very Yummy!
Creme Brulee would be my choice and just seeing your picture above made me hungryyyy :)
Love the new colors :)
Salted Caramel Cupcakes.
Those pink and green leaf cookies that I can never seem to find in my neck of the woods. They remind me of growing up in NY and there’s chocolate involved. Ask me again tomorrow, though…I will probably have changed my mind!
Only ONE dessert for the rest of my life? What an amazingly difficult question to ask a girl like me! =]. I would have to choose a good ole’, classic brownie sundae. A warm, freshly baked brownie (sans peanuts) with a cold scoop of vanilla ice cream. Maybe a little bit of powdered sugar on top of the brownie. Yum!
My favorite dessert is my mom’s death by chocolate..it has brownie, cool whip and heath bar. It is delicious!
Chocolate no-bake cookies and I could spend a very happy lifetime together!
It would have to be cheesecake! Even plain old plain cheesecake rocks my world, and I couldn’t live without it! mmmmmm
Peanut Butter Blossoms! Chocolate and Peanut Butter were meant for eachother!
Cherry pie for sure
I would have to say Coldstone Creamery’s Birthday Cake Remix! It combines all of my favorite ingredients and it just never gets old!!! : )
If i could eat one dessert, it would have to be red velvet cupcakes from Society Bakery here in Dallas, TX. The best cupcakes EVER!
Wow, this is a tricky question… I love bit-sized desserts so, it would either be my little smores cups, or the peanut butter kisses cookies that my mom and I made constantly growing up. Oy veh, reading all these yummy desserts listed, just make me even more hungry! So much for that diet! Need to go bake!
It wouls have to be Haagen Dazs caramel iec cream.
Ooooh…only one? It would have to be French macarons…especially coconut or pistachio.
It would probably be coconut cream pie. I can never get enough!
I should know better than to come here before I have eaten breakfast! Reading everyone’s replies is making me hungry! If I HAD to pick one dessert, I think it would be homemade chocolate chip cookies. Luckily I only like them right out of the oven so chances of polishing off the whole batch are pretty slim!
Oh, so cruel to think of only one dessert to eat… I think I’d have to go with mint brownies, my absolute favorite!
Hi
Thanks for letting me come along via your photos what fun!!!
I LOVE dark chocolate more than anything – so dark chocolate drop cookies with dark chocolate icing YUM
Cheers
Catie
My alltime favorite dessert is cheesecake, any flavor, any time of the day. I would love this mixer!!
I love the Blue! I would eat oven baked carmel popcorn- salty, sweet, crunchy- in fact I could eat ONLY that the rest of my life!
A very sweet yet tart and tangy key lime pie!
I love chocolate cake covered with chocolate fudge frosting with a big heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream! I know that’s two sweets, but you can’t really have one without the other. It just ain’t right!
I love the new color of Kitchen Aid and would be thrilled to have one! Thanks!
Donuts- specifically chocolate cake glazed. I can not live without them!
I could eat a classic chocolate chip cookie everyday for the rest of my life! It never gets old & rarely disappoints. Plus, then I can sneak in bites of cookie dough too & it’s like I get two desserts for the price of one.
A chocolate chip cookie, baked just a minute too short of the dinger. Oh… Mmmmmmmmm.
That’s such a mean question. And so hard to choose! But I’m going to go with Pecan Pie. Always a favorite. :)
There’s a Portuguese pastry called ‘Pasteis de Belen’ that are really good. A pastry shop in Lisbon makes the absolute best! That’s the first place my family wants to go after getting off the plane.
If I could eat only one dessert for the rest of my life, I would go with the classic: Chocolate chip cookies. They are by far my favorite cookie to eat and to make, and I experiment all the time with different add-ins. Mmmm…
I could eat pizookies for dessert for the rest of my life. Warm gooey chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. Yum!!!
I definitely choose My Chocolate Cake.
I make it with chocolate puding filling and cream cheese frosting.
Is not so sweet, that’s why I LOVE IT til the last crumb!!…
Chocolate chip ice cream (no mint, no cookie dough, no coookies-n-cream). My favorite!
OMG! How did you know that blue is my favorite color. I have always wanted a kitchenaide mixer.
My favorite desert is a cream cheese sugar cookie recipe that I got from a friend of mine. I make different shapes for every holiday for my granddaughters and decorate them with melted chocolate instead of icing and add some sprinkles, of course. So every holiday they look forward to them.
Thanks for the chance to win.
