“I have followed your blog for a long time now, and finally decided to try my hand at making cake pops. I loved your Sesame Street cake pops and made the Cookie Monster ones for my son’s 2nd birthday party, which was a Cookie Monster theme. Everyone absolutely loved them! Thank you so much for sharing your creative and wonderful ideas!” – Kristin

Thanks! Yes, I painstakingly used a toothpick to do Cookie Monster’s fur. It definitely took a while, but after the first few, I got the hang of it.
I think Angie’s Sesame Street pops are my favourite to date, I’ve been dying for an occasion to make the Oscar ones. But WOW, your Cookie Monsters are incredible!! What technique did you find the best to do his fur? Did you use a toothpick all over?
They were, indeed, white m&m’s (dotted with a black food coloring pen).
They look like white m&m’s to me.
What did you use for the eyes?
