I’ve been in spring break mode lately. You might have noticed since I didn’t bake last weekend. I think it’s because I recently went on a vacation which I haven’t done in a couple of years and it felt awesome to just relax and do nothing. And now being back home I can’t stop enjoying the warmth that’s finally taking over. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, in the south, you only have about seven minutes to enjoy the season before the hot and humid heat of summer takes over. Okay, okay – I’m exaggerating a little. It probably lasts eleven minutes. ; ) So you’ve got to enjoy all of them while they last. And I’m trying.

My all time favorite vacation destination is Disney world. I’m a total disney geek! Two years ago my sister and I went to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and it was AMAZING. I have not had that much fun trick-or-treating since I was a little girl. My sister dressed as tinkerbell and I went as a medieval princess. The best moment of all was when little boy pointed to my sister with an awestruck face and said to his mother, “Look mom! Tinkerbell!”

My favorite vacation is a cruise. So many different places. Ice!
I’ll take a vaca anywhere! But, so far, my fav was Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. Went there for my honeymoon a couple weeks ago and I’ve definitely got a case of the spring breaks and have no desire to be back at work! :) I’ll take the Pistachio mixer!
I love going to Wyoming for vacation. We used to camp and fish every summer. Now my kids are of the same age and it’s great taking them to my favorite childhood spots!
I’d choose pink as I am walking my fifth 3-Day for the Cure 60 mile breast cancer walk and need all the inspiration to keep training!
I have 3 small children, so I don’t really get to go anywhere too great and fabulous, but what I can tell you is that just so they feel like we’re getting away, me and my husband will take them to a random hotel so they get to use the pool and eat out. Feels like a mini vacation and it makes them happy. Most important thing is we’re all together. Favorite things to do is cook and bake. I always wished I got to open a bakery or went to culinary school, but in the meantime, my kitchen will do just fine. Thank you for offering this gift to us. My husband and I took our three little girlies to Destin, FL two years ago and it was amazing. Our hotel was right on the water, so we got to see a huge pod of dolphins swim up and down the coast. Somewhere quiet but also offers a good amount of activities. Somewhere where I can sit on the beach all day with a good book (and a whole bottle of sun screen!) and find a good restaurant for dinner later. Or somewhere were I can go horse back riding, 4-wheeling, tubing, or museum hopping.
